A/N: Here, we finally have a second chapter for "The Amphibia House: Coven of Witches, Frogs, & Frontiers!" Now, the tragedy that took place in the merged worlds of Amphibia and the Boiling Isles affected everyone in some way, so keep in mind that I wanna show just how they were affected in their own way. In the previous chapter, I already showed how the Noceda's were affected. So, for each episode in the chapter for Part 1, which would last for 17 episodes. Not to worry, there's only 2 parts for this story (the 2nd of which is 3 shorter than the 1st part), which would be just as well, considering I'm planning on working on other stories along the way this year, as well. In any case, enjoy.
The Amphibia House: Coven of Witches, Frogs, & Frontiers
Opening Theme:
First, it showed the box dropping to the ground in sync with the Titans' sonic blasts, sending Anne and company to L.A. as they all got up and looked astonished by the view of it all, especially in the rain.
Then, it showed a girl walking her dog, birds flying away, and construction workers fixing an area. Anne opened the front door, accompanied by Jackie and Rose to let Hop Pop, Sprig and Polly inside her house with Hop Pop and Polly running inside Anne's house while Sprig hopped inside. In the kitchen, Sprig fell out of the freezer with a mint chocolate chip ice cream cone like he used a handheld telescope from the previous intro, which then landed on his head. Belos, Camila, Luke, Lucia, Eda, Lilith, Nathan, Alex, Tibren, Anne's parents, the Sundews, and Hop Pop all looked over at him. Liu was at the sink while his wife, Meiling was holding dishes to put them away inside the opened cabinets as Camila and Belos were making a meal together. Anne's phone was even seen used by Hop Pop at the residence's kitchen area.
In the living room of the house, Amiyah grabbed Polly before she could jump on the sleeping Domino. Unfortunately, she started to sprout feathers due to her curse, one of which landed on the cat's nose and woke her up with a sneeze. This upset the cat, who yowled as she jumped up in fright as Anne laughed. Then, Sasha and Marcy joined her side-by-side as Sprig jumped on Anne's head and pointed the way before the trio turned into Amphibians.
Anne and Sprig jumped on umbrellas and other items during the daytime located at some beach in LA as Sasha, while holding Marcy, took a huge leap as beach-goers saw this happening and wound up becoming Amphibians themselves.
Later, Anne, Sasha, Marcy, and their siblings escaped from the Cloak-Bot, Judge-Bot, Flame-Bot, and Frobot that's chasing them in a 'No Parking' alley way at night while Grime, Bombina, Percy, and Braddock, accompanied by Willow, Gus, Boscha, her younger siblings, Selena, Vee, Ellie, Maura, Amiyah, Eda, Lilith, Nathan, Tibren, Alex, and Evander did battle with them using various magic spell circles. This alley appeared to have Sasha's graffiti with Anne's little splodge on the "a".
Then, the Plantars and Sundews disguised themselves as visitors while evading a male night guard inside the Museum of Natural History at an area showing different dinosaurs.
Next, Anne wore a blue helmet while riding her dad's red scooter as she and the Plantars were being pursued by two police cars alongside two police helicopters from the LAPD and a fake ice cream van disguised as a surveillance van driven by a blonde man with glasses alongside a bald man with a purple fancy jacket and a pair of glasses from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on a street during the broad daylight before then showing several drones flying up in the sky at the temple.
After that, it then showed an array of frobots jumping up in the air behind a giant frobot at sunset.
Then, it showed Olivia and Yunan, aided by Salamancer, in Wartwood alongside its citizens as the Wartwood Resistance ready to fight against Andrias and Melkor along with Liu, Meiling, Travis, Laura, Henry, Lin, Jess, Ally, Dr. Jan, Terri, Humphrey Westwood, Mr. X and Jenny near the Wat Thai Temple in Los Angeles.
In the castle, it showed Melkor closing his right hand into a fist while gazing at his ring and Andrias pulling out his sword and swinging it, while Anne, Sasha, Marcy were shown in a comatose state who had wires attached to their bodies inside the rejuvenation tanks in front of Collector Luz, Puppet Amity, and the mysterious dark trio.
Back on Earth, several Frobots from the air fired their missiles at Anne, Sasha, Marcy, Jackie, Rose, Allison, Pat, Max, Alexis, the Plantars, the Sundews, and the toads on the ground who were behind destroyed cars stacked up like bricks at a junkyard under the LA night sky. So, while aided by Willow, Gus, Boscha, Selena, Amiyah, Kroscha, Moscha, Dolly, Erebor, and Emilia, the Boonchuys, Waybrights, and Wus used their respective Calamity Box gem powers to destroy some incoming missiles while catching one then slinging it back at one of the Frobots, which meant their powers are now shown in action.
They then landed in an open road with the background of LA's night sky scene while returning to their normal state (aside from being in amphibian form) and behind them are the supporting cast as well as their respective parents parents with Domino, Melkor, and King Andrias.
Then, the screen began to fizz out before then showing a blue screen with pixels and lines surrounding the Amphibia House logo, only this time, it had "Coven of Witches, Frogs, & Frontiers" below it, forming the full logo before the screen fizzed out again and cut to black.

Chapter 2: Hop 'til You Drop
One night, Boscha was helping Camila mix the ingredients for the aging spell.
"Thank you so much for helping me mix those ingredients in, Boscha.", Camila thanked.
"Don't mention it, Mrs. Noceda.", Boscha grinned.
"At this rate, those babies will be back on their feet in no time.", Camila grinned, placing a teaspoon of it in a spoon before going over to the 3 babies.
"Wait. Are we forgetting something here?", Boscha pondered.
She checked her book and found something.
"Ah! Dragon's scales.", Boscha said.
Then, she went over to the ingredient bag to collect it. Unfortunately, after looking through them, she gasped in worry.
"Oh, no. It's gone...! I have to warn her!", Boscha said before rushing over to Camila.
Unfortunately, it was too late as Camila gave the potion to Lia, Masa, and Della.
"Here you three go. It should fix you right up.", Camila grinned.
"Oh, no...! I'm too late...!", Boscha squeaked.
Fortunately, the babies started to gently open their eyes and see Camila, Belos, Eda, Lilith, Nathan, and Alex.
"Mama?", Lia asked with a coo.
"Oh, my little ones. You're all right, and you said your first word!", Camila beamed, hugging Lia and Masa.
"Thank heavens you three are safe.", Belos added as Eda looked to Della.
"Oh, Della. When you grow up, you can be anything you want to be.", Eda spoke to the happily cooing Della.
"Oh, I hope nothing too bad happens...", Boscha said to herself in worry.
The next morning, though, Boscha got up one morning and gasped in quite the shock. Apparently, Lia, Della, and Masa were already walking on their own, even to Luke, Lucia, Camila, Leif, Belos, Eda, Lilith, Nathan, Alex, and Tibren's own shock and awe.
"Uh, is that supposed to happen so soon?", Lucia asked.
"How are you already taking your first steps?!", Eda exclaimed.
"I can't believe it! Their first words and their first steps on the same day?!", Camila added.
At that moment, Willow, Gus, Selena, Ellie, Maura, Evander, Erebor, Emilia, Kroscha, Moscha, Dolly, and Vee all walked in and saw what Boscha saw in shock.
"Guys? Is what we're seeing actually happening? Or is it just me?", Gus asked.
"No, Gus. I don't think you're the only one.", Willow responded.
"It's not just that. I think they're starting to grow bigger, too.", Ellie added.
"So, that means they're still growing?", Vee asked.
"Yeah. Worst of all, the dragon scales I needed for my aging potion were somehow swiped away. How did this happen?!", Boscha exclaimed.
"Don't worry, Boscha. We'll get it back.", assured Kroscha.
Just then, Anne, Jackie, and Rose walked in and saw what they saw, shocked and surprised.
"How are they walking already?!", Anne shouted while Jackie and Rose exclaimed.
"We used an aging potion to help cure them of their coma. I just didn't think they'd grow that fast.", Camila said.
"Oh. Right. Because of that whole draining spell mess.", Anne realized.
"Good to see they're doing all right, though.", Sprig said.
"Oh, yeah. I forgot about that.", Jackie remembered.
"Well, that's a relief.", Rose said.
"Well, we're gonna go out for a bit. We'll be right back.", Anne said.
"Okay.", Polly said.
But as soon as she and her siblings got out the door, they were stopped by the Plantars and Ivy on account of their curiosity, let alone their puppy eyes.
"Where are you guys going?", the frogs asked.
"Uuuhh... the mailbox...", Anne responded.
"You know, to pick up the mail that gets delivered to us?", Jackie added.
"Sounds exciting! Can we come? Please? Please?", Sprig pleaded while shaking up Hop Pop.
"Uuuhh... Yeah. I guess.", Anne responded.
"YAY! WOO-HOO!", Ivy and the Plantars cheered as they ran to put on their disguises.
"I don't know why they're so excited. We're just getting some mail.", Rose puzzled as she and her sisters went to the mailbox just as Hop Pop, Sprig and Polly came out dressed as humans.
Inside, though, Evander took notice of the situation and turned to Vee.
"Tell me. Do you notice something odd?", Evander asked.
"Like what?", Vee asked.
"Like any sudden growth spurts?", Evander asked.
As if on cue, as Lia, Della, and Masa hugged Belos, Camila, Eda, and Nathan, they suddenly grew up to be 5 or 6 years old with one of the straps on their diapers coming off as they grew, causing them to fall out.
"We love you, Mommy and Daddy.", Lia, Masa, and Della spoke in unison.
"Aw. We love you, too, kids.", Camila said, hugging Lia and Masa.
"Yeah. What she said.", Eda agreed.
Vee and the other witches, however, had their faces turned red as Leif bashfully looked away from the growing kids.
"Counting now? Yeah.", Vee responded.
"I was afraid of that. The aging potion was a dragon scale short of completion.", Evander stated.
"We have to find that Dragon Scale and quick! Who knows what would happen if it goes on for too long?!", Boscha said in worry.
At that moment, Leif noticed something odd going on out the backyard window.
"Huh? That's odd.", Leif said.
Then, she walked over to the backyard door, opened it, got outside, and then looked out past the backyard fence in time to see clear evidence of a little bit of the Boiling Isles leaking out into the Human world: some red woods.
"Red woods? But those are only found in the bo...", Leif began before widening her eyes in realization.
"Oh, no.", Leif said.
Meanwhile, Anne, Jackie, and Rose were close to the mailbox.
"You know, I used to only get the mail to intercept my report card. Buy these days-", Anne began before she and her sisters found out that neither Ivy nor the Plantars were there.
"HUH?!", Anne and Jackie exclaimed.
"They escaped!", Rose panicked.
In Polly's case, she spotted a couple of cool kids.
"Hey, smallish humans!", Polly called.
But since the two cool kids didn't even stop, she dodged them in a jump with a scream.
"HEY! WATCH IT! You overgrown stinkbugs!", Polly shouted angrily.
The two cool kids then stopped and glared at Polly.
"What did you call us?", the cool girl asked angrily.
Nervous, Rose ran to Polly.
"Sorry, sorry... She's just a baby.", Rose said, giggling nervously as she ran off after picking Polly up.
"Weirdest baby I've ever seen.", the cool boy commented, making Polly growl.
Meanwhile, a lumberjack was shown shredding firewood with a wood chipper. When he left, Sprig and Ivy came out of their hiding place and took a look at the part where firewood came in.
"Ooooh! That looks fun...", Sprig grinned, about to touch it.
"Sprig, wait!", Ivy shouted.
"SPRIG, NO!", Anne shouted, grabbing Sprig before panting.
As for Hop Pop Anne saw Hop Pop talk to a scammer.
"A free vacation? Just for listening to your talk? Well, sign me up.", Hop Pop grinned.
"And that's enough of that!", Jackie scolded as she grabbed Hop Pop from his right lock.
Now, Anne, Jackie, and Rose took the Plantars straight back to the Boonchuy residence as Ivy walked back in. They then closed the front door. Leif was about to speak to them, but Anne, Jackie, and Rose stopped her.
"Not now!", Anne shouted quickly.
"But I didn't even say anything.", Leif pondered.
In the kitchen, Luke, Lucia, Belos, Camila, Eda, Lilith, Nathan, Alex, and Tibren were speaking to Boscha while the palismen helped Liu and Meiling make breakfast.
"So, the last ingredient for the aging potion was stolen?", Luke asked.
"Yes! I don't know how it was taken, but it was!", Boscha responded before Anne came in, took out a can of orange drink, closed the refrigerator and drank the drink quickly as Liu, Meiling, Luke, Lucia, Belos, and Camila noticed her, Jackie, and Rose.
"Something wrong, kiddos?", Liu asked.
"Where do we start?!", the trio shouted.
"Polly nearly got in a fight!", Rose shouted first.
"Hop Pop was seconds away from getting scammed!", Jackie added.
"And Sprig almost got turned into wood chips!", Anne finished.
As Anne and her sisters explained, Gummi, Lucia's palisman, squeaked as he turned to the left and then looked up to the right in curiosity.
"Wait, Sprig is made out of wood?", Meiling puzzled.
Tired, Anne and her sisters groaned, leaning against the wall.
"I'm exhausted just trying to keep them all alive.", Anne said.
In response, though, Meiling just laughed.
"Sounds like being a parent.", Meiling grinned.
"Really? No wonder you were so worried for us...", Jackie said.
"The trick is to ease them into the world. Slow and steady like how I'm easing this egg into-", Liu began, trying to crack an egg on the pan; but by his force, he dropped the egg and half its shell into the pan.
"Dang it!", Liu exclaimed.
"Just be patient. This is a lot of new for them.", Meiling advised, Gummi looking back toward Meiling with a twitch of his ears.
"Yeah, you're right. Slow and steady.", Anne agreed.
Anne and her sisters returned to the living room, calm while she vocalized. But then, she gasped as she saw what Sprig, Ivy, Polly, and Hop Pop were about to do with the witches trying to stop them. For example, Sprig stretched his tongue to touch some ventilation blades (one of which Ivy was standing on) as Ellie tried to pull him away.
"You have to stop!", Ellie shouted before Ivy jumped off the blade.
"NO!", Ellie shouted.
Polly was watching the cool kids out the window.
"Think you're tough? Bring it on, humans!", Polly dared.
"Incoming!", Willow shouted before she caught Ivy with her vines.
"Aw, you ruined my ambush...", Ivy groaned.
Meanwhile, Hop Pop was on the phone talking to another scammer.
"Free money? And all I have to do is gave you my bank account numbers?", Hop Pop asked, much to Gus' disgust as he groaned.
Anne, Jackie, and Rose all became furious as they took a deep breath and roared with crazed eyes! Very quickly, Rose closed the curtains, Jackie took the phone from Hop Pop, and with a broom, Anne pushed Sprig off the ceiling.
"Nope! Slow and steady ain't gonna cut it. You guys will be dead in two days!", Anne spoke angrily.
"Is that a threat!?", Polly retorted.
"It might as well be a promise with that kind of attitude, sister!", Rose shouted.
"You girls okay?", Sprig asked.
"Are we okay?! No! We're not! We had it up to here with your carelessness!", Jackie shouted.
"Here. Take this free stress test I got from that guy.", Hop Pop advised, offering Jackie some paperwork.
"NOOOOO!", Jackie shouted, not only snatching it from Hop Pop, but also tearing it apart into pieces, hyperventilating for a moment before she took a deep breath.
"Just... no. That's clearly a scam and I will not fall for it. You shouldn't fall for that, either.", Jackie responded.
"She's right. The responsible thing to do is to train you all at once at the most chaotic and dangerous place I know.", Anne agreed.
"That might have to wait, Anne. There's something you should all see just outside.", Leif urged.
"What is it?", Anne asked.
Moments later, everyone in the house saw red woods from the backyard fence, especially Lia, Della, and Masa, who are now wearing different clothes.
"Huh. Now, there's something you don't see every day.", Anne spoke in awe.
"Those are red woods from the Boiling Isles. Somehow the merge between Amphibia and the Boiling Isles must've cause some of their magic to leak into the human realm.", Leif guessed.
"So, you think that might explain how we turned into frogs?", Meiling asked.
"Possibly. And if the red woods from the Boiling Isles are here, then that means we might see more and more stuff from the Boiling Isles pouring into the human realm. But if it it keeps up, who knows what would happen to this realm?", Leif asked.
"Oh. I guess that would also explain how we were able to get what we need for the aging potion to begin with.", Camila said.
"Almost. I could've sworn I had those dragon scales as my last ingredient, but it suddenly went missing.", Boscha added.
"Whatever the case, it appears we'll need to find some more dragon scales.", Belos said.
"And fast. Because look at how big they're getting already.", Camila urged, gesturing to Lia, Della, and Masa, who have now grown up to be 8 years old.
"Look how big we're getting, Mom!", Lia spoke giddily.
"With any luck, with how much of the Boiling Isles is coming to Amphibia at this rate, we might find those dragon scales, too.", Leif grinned.
"Rose, can you call Sasha and the others for help?", Jackie asked.
"Okay.", Rose nodded.
"That's good, because with any luck, these dragon scales might just be at the one place I was going to suggest in the first place.
Moments later, both the exterior and the interior of the Willowbrook Mall were shown.
"The Mall! Where I learned life's most important skills. And where you're gonna learn the lessons you need to survive in our world.", Anne said, speaking to Ivy and the Plantars.
"Survive? Your world is soft, Anne.", Hop Pop scoffed.
"Yeah... I mean, the animals don't even try to disembowel you.", Sprig added.
"And if they do, they'll answer to me!", Ivy glared in addition.
"Yeah... We don't need no stinking-", Polly began as she and the other frogs walked.
But it was right then that the Plantars fell down an escalator, while Anne made an "obvious" face as Jackie, Rose, Sasha, Allison, Pat, Marcy, Max, and Alexis all winced before they all went down the escalator.
"Ouch!", Hop Pop exclaimed.
"You don't need 'no stinkin' training', huh?", Jackie glared before Hop Pop cleared his throat.
"Proceed.", Hop Pop said.
Then, Marcy took out her cell phone.
"We've all come up with a specific task for each of you. First up, Polly. You need to control your temper. We already drew enough attention as is with our amphibian forms and your temper's drawing too much attention right now. We are trying to keep a low profile.", Marcy advised.
"I say what I want when I want!", Polly retorted.
"Maybe in Wartwood, but not here, because it's exactly that kind of thinking that'll get you pulverized, trampled, smashed, destroyed, or worse, killed!", Jackie retorted.
"Because of that, your mission is to go into that store and build a custom plushy without fighting anyone.", Anne said, pointing to the "Construct-A-Carnivore" store.
"Ha... Child's play.", Polly smirked.
"Don't be so sure. The last time I tried making a custom plushy here, it was a madhouse in there. A MADHOUSE!", Jackie shouted.
"Like I said. Child's play.", Polly responded.
"Geez, how hardcore are you?", Jackie sighed.
"Sprig, you can't touch everything or you're gonna lose a limb.", Anne warned.
"And Ivy, the fact that you pull off ambushes isn't gonna fly there, either.", Sasha added.
"But how else am I supposed to get the jump on my enemies?", Ivy asked.
"And there's so many new surfaces and textures.", Sprig said desperately.
"That kind of temptation would get you killed if you gave in! Whether that's literal or figurative, I don't know, but either way, I think we can assume it's bad, either way.", Allison responded.
"So, your mission is to walk through that Gallery of Art Installations without touching any of them.", Marcy said, pointing to the Gallery of Art Installations.
"Heh... looks simple enough.", Sprig said.
"Is it?", Sasha asked with one eyebrow raised, causing Sprig to drop his smile and cough as he held his hands on his chest.
"Yep... Still got it.", Sprig said.
"And finally, Hop Pop. You need to stop taking free stuff. In our world, everything has a price. Even I knew that back when I used to be the queen of manipulation.", Sasha stated.
"Then why did they call it "free", Sasha? Hmm? Because they think I'm gullible and easily scammed?", Hop Pop asked.
"Exactly. There's literally no other reason.", Sasha said.
"Oh well. That's actually pretty clever.", Hop Pop said.
Anne then pointed to the Hall of Scammers.
"Your mission is to make it through Kiosk Alley without falling for any free scams.", Anne said, gesturing to Kiosk Alley, which was surrounded by scammers, one of which chuckled creepily whilst peeping out from a wall.
"Sasha, Marcy, and I'll be watching all of you for up here. You've got 20 minutes to complete your mission." Anne said before she turned her back and crossed her arms.
"In the meantime, the rest of us will try and find any possible location of dragon scales.", Max added.
"With all the magic of the Boiling Isles pouring over into the human world, it should at least be a bit easier to find them somewhere.", Gus added, not knowing that one of the frobots, Judge-Bot was looming nearby in the shadows with a glare and a smirk.
"It is absolutely imperative that we do not screw up in our mission!", Boscha exclaimed.
"And if one of us screws up in ours?", Sprig asked worriedly.
"Then you can't be trusted to leave the house...", Anne began before she turned back with an intimidating face.
"EEEEEEEEEEEVEEEEEEEEEER.", Anne finished.
Sprig gasped, horrified, while Polly, Ivy, and Hop Pop reacted at the same time.
"WHAT THE HECK?!", Ivy shouted.
"NO WAY!", Polly shouted.
"Since when do you set the stakes?", Hop Pop asked in shock.
"ESCAPE!", Ivy shouted.
"SCATTER!", Polly shouted at the same time before the frogs ran towards their assigned spots, only to trail off and collide in one part.
"Oh boy...", Anne said in worry.
"This isn't gonna end well, is it?", Sasha asked.
"Nope.", Marcy responded.
Meanwhile, Polly entered the "Construct-A-Carnivore" store just near the "Pick yer parts!" sign.
"Piece of cake.", Polly said, blowing a raspberry as she ventured further in.
"Hhhmm... This will do.", Polly grinned as she took a torso.
"Yoink. Yoink.", Polly grinned as she took a purple left arm and a blue left arm.
Then, she stopped to check some ears and a nose.
"Mmm no, thanks.", Polly refused.
Then, she went to a table with her pieces.
"Don't know why Anne thought this would be difficult, let alone why Jackie called this place a madhouse.", Polly grinned.
But she was about to find out as before she could assemble it, a baby took the blue right arm.
"Huh?", Polly puzzled.
The baby cooed, playing with said arm. Seeing this, Polly remembered what Anne told her.
"Build a custom plushy without fighting anyone.", Anne's retrospective voice echoed.
Polly decided to try a loving approach to avoid escalating the situation.
"Oh... hello there. I think there's been a misunderstanding. But that's-", Polly began before the baby spat saliva at her.
"What the...? Hey, lady! Your chubby spawn is running my work.", Polly tattled.
"Did you call my kid a spawn?", the 1st mother asked, offended by her words.
"Focus, Polly. Don't make a scene.", Polly thought before sighing.
"Know what? It's fine. I'll just get more-", Polly began.
But then, another baby took the purple left arm.
"HEY!", Polly shouted before 3 other babies took the torso.
"Hey!", Polly exclaimed.
Then, Jackie's retrospective voice spoke next in an echo as one of those 3 babies bit, or rather gummed, the torso.
"The last time I tried making a custom plushy here, it was a madhouse in there. A MADHOUSE!", Jackie's retrospective voice echoed as Polly was trying to contain her rage.
"Must... contain... FURY!", Polly shouted, trying her best to hold it in.
Back in the house, Camila was trying to keep it together herself.
"Must... keep... calm...!", Camila panicked.
"They've disappeared already?!", Luke and Lucia reacted.
"Oh, no! Don't tell me they've turned to dust?!", Lilith asked.
"Nope. They must've snuck out the window. I should know. I used to sneak out all the time.", Eda responded.
"Then, they couldn't have gone very far. If we are to stop them from aging any further, we must keep Lia, Della, and Masa from getting into any potential trouble.", Belos urged.
"Like that?", Caleb asked, gesturing to Della out on the street.
"Della?!", Eda shouted.
"Oh, no.", Nathan groaned.
Meanwhile, out in the street, on the sidewalk, that is, Della came across a dark grey-haired man with glasses on roller skates and a blonde haired girl with a bit of pink for the top and some green at the bottom.
"Uh, hi.", Della greeted.
"Huh? Oh. Hi.", the girl greeted.
But the man wasn't particularly fond of Della. If anything, he was outright suspicious.
"Who are you, and what do you want?!", the man demanded, not trusting Della one bit.
"Ah! Easy. I just wanted to see if you need some help. Or to say 'hi', at least.", Della responded.
"Oh. Hi. I'm Molly Jo. This is my grandpa, Robert Otto.", Molly Jo waved as said man gave a suspicious glare.
"Uh..., okay. I'm Della. Nice to meet you.", Della greeted with a wave back.
But suddenly, Molly Jo gave a croak from her throat.
"Whoa. What just happened?", Molly Jo puzzled.
Then, Molly Jo croaked again before suddenly, her next croak came out longer while the bottoms of her chin grew bigger as she now grew twice that size with a green glow on her chin becoming more prominent with her neck growing longer to help balance out the growth before the croak stopped, worrying both Della and Robert Otto.
"Molly?!", Della spoke in worry.
"Granddaughter!", Robert shouted before his skin started to turn green.
"Ah! What's going on here?", Otto asked.
"I-I don't know! I swear!", Della panicked.
At that moment, Eda, Lilith, Nathan, Tibren, Alex, Leif, Camila, and Belos ran out and caught up to Della.
"Della!", Eda shouted.
"Mom! I'm so sorry I snuck out like that, but...", Della spoke in worry.
"Never mind that. Are you okay?", Eda asked.
"Yeah. But they're not!", Della shouted, gesturing to her.
Then, her hands and feet became webby, tearing off her shoes and socks, before the glow from her chin spread all across her body, turning Molly Jo's skin color green with her body growing as if it was maturing into an adult size in human biology as her neck thickened in width before her chin shrank back to normal with the air in it going straight to her chest, making it bulge out in twice their original size, making it just as bouncy before her butt was the next to grow in size while her legs grew in length before Molly Jo, who was panicking in fright during the whole change, was now turned into a frog girl.
As for Robert Otto, the green skin wound up covering his whole body as he panicked before his mouth grew into a newt snout and even grew a long tail from behind.
"Yep. This ain't good.", Eda said.
"Am I... a frog?! What happened to me?!", Molly Jo exclaimed.
"Did I just turn into a lizard?! I bet you had something to do with this!", Robert blamed.
"First off, you're a newt, not a lizard. And second, we didn't have anything to do with this! But we do know what caused it.", Eda responded.
"This must've been the result of Amphibia's magic leaking out into the human realm somehow.", Lilith responded.
"Like Leif said.", Camila realized.
"What? R-Really?", Molly Jo asked, still shaken by her transformation.
"How do we know for sure you're not behind all this?", Robert asked.
"If we did do that, we would've tried to undo that by now.", Eda retorted.
"And it's not just you two who's going through changes right now. Just look.", Tibren responded, gesturing to similar changes also happening to the entire neighborhood, panicking in various ways in response.
"They're telling the truth. And it's not just Amphibia's magic leaking into the human 's the Boiling Isles' magic, too.", Leif added just before some red woods sprouted from several gardens nearby, causing more confusion (and some wonder) than panic.
"Okay, so maybe you guys aren't behind all this, but can't you at least do something to turn us back?!", Otto shouted.
"From what we saw, there's no need to. We know someone who went through similar changes and was able to morph in and out of her amphibian form.", Camila assured.
"Anne was that someone.", Luke responded.
"Whoa... Changing in and out? I wonder...", Molly Jo said before she closed her eyes, focused, and then morphed back into her human form.
When she opened her eyes, she became relieved to see herself back in human form.
"It worked...! I'm human again!", Molly Jo grinned.
"Oh! Let me try.", Robert said before doing the same thing as well as getting the same results.
"Haha! It DID work!", Robert beamed.
"Well, good for you.", Eda grinned.
"As long as we're here, did you two happen to see 2 girls run off somewhere before Della came here?", Camila asked.
"I don't know.", Robert puzzled.
"Actually, I think I saw them head towards the mall.", Molly responded.
"Thanks for the info!", Camila shouted as she took off in a rush.
"And you! What were you thinking, sneaking off under our watch like that?", Eda asked.
"All I've ever wanted to do is help! Which is pretty good considering that you used your magic for mischief and chaos! And I will not be painted as some troublemaker just because I wanted to use magic to help people!", Della exclaimed, making Eda gasp as everyone else tensed with Molly Jo inhaling sharply.
"What did you just say?", Eda said, still shocked.
"All I wanted is to help people. And being chaotic like you were isn't going to help anyone.", Della responded, making Eda tense further in shock.
"Well, on one hand, it's good that she isn't planning to sow chaos. But on the other hand, it looks like it really got to Edalyn.", Lilith guessed as Eda quickly made faces of shock alternating from one to another, almost as if ready to snap.
"Ah! Hold that thought!", Robert said before he put on noise-cancelling earmuffs on everyone else and himself.
"Okay, go.", Robert said.
"NOOOOOOOOOOO!", Eda shouted in a dramatic and comedic fashion.
Back to the mall, Sprig and Ivy started touring the Gallery of Art Installations, the former trying to contain his temptation.
"Whoooa... Such textures to explore.", Sprig said.
"And just as many cool places to set up an ambush.", Ivy snickered.
Then, Sprig gasped when he saw the brilliant art.
"Whoooa!", Sprig beamed before jumping to it and giggling.
But then, he remembered Anne's warning (and her intimidating face).
"Then you can't be trusted to leave the house... EEEEEEEEEEEVEEEEEEEEEER.", Anne warned.
Remembering her warning, Sprig abruptly stopped and stood up.
"It's fine. Totally fine. We can both just look and appreciate from afar.", Sprig said.
"Well, okay.", Ivy grinned, albeit uneasily.
So, the two walked with Sprig humming. But for every art, they got nervous and he panted. He looked up and groaned at the sight of bigger and brighter art. Sprig got his hands ready to touch it, but he knew he had to control himself.
"Come on, Sprig, FIGHT IT...!", Sprig shouted before he punched himself not just once, but a lot, much to Ivy's concern just as one man spoke to someone near him.
"Must be some kind of performance piece.", the man guessed.
Meanwhile, at a sort of clothing shop, Lia and Masa were already looking at dresses near the fitting room.
"So, what do you think about this outfit?", Masa asked.
"Hmm. not bad. But I think we could make it look better.", Lia replied.
"Really?", Masa asked.
"Well, why don't we both find out in the fitting room?", Lia asked.
So, both sisters went into adjacent fitting room stalls to try out their new style, both unaware of a certain frobot watching them nearby. But as soon as they went in, they suddenly started to feel queasy.
"Uh... do you feel weird in here, Masa?", Lia asked.
"Yeah. I do. And not in a good way.", Masa responded.
All of a sudden, they each started to grow taller. It was only when they both grew up to Luz's height that they stopped and looked at themselves through their mirrors.
"Whoa. That was weird. But kinda fun. I think I even grew to Luz's size.", Lia said.
"Me, too.", Masa said.
"We're even starting to look just... like... Luz.", Lia began before giving a weary, worried look.
She then looked toward her hands.
"What are we even doing here?", Lia asked, tensing her hand.
"We need to help Luz and fast!", Masa urged.
"I know. We will.", Lia responded.
Then, moments later, they both came out of their fitting room, back in their clothes.
"How much longer before Mom notices?", Masa asked.
"Not much longer. We have to hurry back before she...", Lia began only to notice that Molly Jo, Robert Otto, Camila, Belos, Luke, Lucia, Della, Eda, Lilith, Nathan, Tibren, Alex, and Leif were already there.
"Ay, carumba...!", Camila groaned.
Back to the Hall of Scammers, Hop Pop began to cross it, weary of the scammers on both sides.
"Sir, how would you like a free gift card?", the scammer asked, making Hop Pop groan.
"You there, do you wanna regrow that hair? I know you do.", the 2nd scammer asked as Hop Pop groaned louder.
"Hey there, handsome. Wanna start your modeling career with some headshots? Just need your ID. It's 100% no strings attached... freeee.", the 3rd scammer spoke, stopping Hop Pop and even finishing up in slow motion.
Unable to take the stress, Hop Pop screamed and dashed off away from the scammer. At the same time, a Mall official named Mark rubbed his aching stomach, throwing the leftover food into the trash can.
"Oof... It's the last time I get sushi out of the vending machine. Mmm?", Mark puzzled as he watched Hop Pop taking off in a panic and then looking at a sign that said "STRANGER. DANGER", along with the silhouette of a man in a hat and mysterious clothes before gasping and speaking through his Walkie-Talkie.
"Mark here. Got a suspicious looking C.O.D. Creepy Old Dude, on radar. I'm in pursuit.", Mark said as he started chasing Hop Pop on his Segway.
Meanwhile, Camila spoke to Lia and Masa in relief and worry.
"There you two are! We've been worried sick about you!", Camila shouted just before Lia and Masa started twitching a bit.
"Ah... Ah...! ACHOO!", Lia and Masa sneezed.
"Speaking of 'sick'.", Eda said before Della sneezed, too.
"ACHOO!", Della sneezed.
"Oh, no. Not you, too, Della.", Nathan said in worry.
Suddenly, Lia, Masa, and Della's skins all turned red and hot to the touch as they moaned in agony, inadvertently burning Camila and Eda as they were touching them, causing them to yelp in pain before shaking their hands.
"They're burning up!", Camila and Eda shouted in unison.
"Ohhh, we don't feel so good...", Lia and Masa moaned.
"Neither do I...", Della agreed.
"Then, it wasn't a moment too soon.", Belos said.
"What's going to happen to them now?", Lucia asked.
"Their bodies are aging too fast. Their immune systems weren't prepared for that fever. If we don't find those dragon scales and fast, they'll die.", Lilith warned.
"Then, we have to hurry! We can't waste any...!", Camila began as she rushed out only to come across Anne, Sasha, and Marcy's respective siblings.
"Time?", Camila finished.
Meanwhile, Anne, Sasha, and Marcy were surveying their progress.
"So far, so good. The Anne Boonchuy trial by fire is really paying off.", Anne grinned.
"Yeah, well this trial's about to be a wash.", Sasha smirked.
"Yeah, because Anne isn't the only one fighting this trial. There are two others right here.", Marcy added.
Just then, an unexpected voice called out from behind.
"O-M-G... Anne? Sasha? Marcy?! Is it really you?", a girl asked in surprise before hugging the trio.
"Where have you been?! What happened to you three? Is it true you went missing or ran away or died or something? OH! Wait! Were you guys taken away from some secret experiments that mutated you before you three escaped?", the girl asked.
"Don't be ridiculous, Gabby. I was just on my family's farm. In... Alaska.", Anne responded.
"I was visiting some relatives.", Sasha added.
"Me, too.", Marcy agreed.
"Well, now that you're back, I got to catch you up on all the hot *hiccup* goss.", Gabby said.
"Uh, are you okay, Gabby?", Sasha asked.
"Oh, yeah, that was just a hiccup.", Gabby responded.
"Listen, I'm sorta-", Anne began before Gabby only interrupted, interfering with her every time Anne and her friends tried to leave.
"So, Bridget got mad at Carlos 'cause she thought Carlos went to the movies with Johanna, but it was actually Yoko. So then Yoko and Bridget stopped being BFF's until they both got mad at Tommy because Tommy said, 'We've only been dating since second grade, we're not soul mates'.", Gabby began as she didn't know that she was turning into a toad girl with her skin turning hard and brown first, which was what really caught Anne, Sasha, and Marcy's attention.
In the art gallery, both Sprig and Ivy (finally, for her case) were overwhelmed on the floor, crawling.
"I can't do this. These things are so cool!", Sprig shouted, desperate to satisfy his need to touch stuff.
"How can I possibly go this long without ambushing someone...?!", Ivy exclaimed.
Then, the 2 laid down while turning around and saw Anne, Sasha, and Marcy distracted by Gabby, who had become a toad girl herself.
"Yeah... and then I said 'Dude, you're gonna get caught', right? So obvious.", Gabby said.
Both Sprig and Ivy gasped and stood up with a reaction.
"Chance.", Sprig and Ivy said in unison.
They both turned around, stood up, and went to the big and bright art.
"Tooouch... Feeling...", Sprig chuckled as he touched a glass mirror, a steel pillar with barbed spikes, some cotton on his cheeks, and even swung with a rope of cotton hanging towards the giant eye, clearly enjoying it.
Suddenly, he noticed that Ivy wasn't there.
"Wait. Where'd Ivy go?", Sprig puzzled.
"AMBUSH!", Ivy shouted as she pounced on Sprig.
Unfortunately, the moment she did, the rope with cotton hanging broke apart, bounced down the tines, passed through the red wheel and a lever, and ended up lowering the lever with a sign that said "Caution! Disassembly Lever."
"Uh-oh...", Ivy and Sprig spoke in worry.
Quickly, the art was disassembled and that forced Sprig and Ivy to ride in the giant eye, provoking serious structural damage on the road.
"How did it all go so wrong?!", Ivy shouted in panic.
Back outside the clothing store, Lilith was just finishing up on the explanation.
"That bad, Lilith?", Max asked.
"Yes. Lia, Della, and Masa have already come down with a high fever and if we don't find those dragon scales and fast, they're done for.", Lilith explained.
"All the more reason we need to hurry. And all the more reason we will.", assured Allison.
"Or maybe you already have. It's just too bad you can't get the dragon scales in time.", Judge-Bot spoke up, chuckling, much to the group's shock as they gasped.
Back with Polly, despite numerous babies interfering, she was about to finish her doll.
"Almost...", Polly spoke before she finally managed to finish her doll.
"DONE! Ha! Haha!", Polly cheered as she departed from the babies in her way, shoving her way past them a bit.
However, those babies pushed Polly, making the doll fly through the air towards another baby, one draped in purple pajamas. Then, that baby picked it up and babbled curiously as if asking, "Destroy?".
Polly became desperate and fell to her knees, not wanting to see her doll, the one thing she worked so hard to make, get destroyed.
"No! Please! I'm so tired... this madness needs to stop!", Polly pleaded.
But her plea fell on deaf ears as the baby in the purple costume babbled as if saying, "Destroy." and tore the doll in half. Little did that baby know that by doing so, it brought back the worst memory possible.
"Oh, look at that. One of my robots. Must be defective.", King Andrias guessed, guarding his laser sword, right before destroying Frobo with one punch.
"FROBO!", Polly shouted before the flashback faded back to the present, which showed Polly finally losing it.
"THAT'S... IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!", Polly roared.
Enraged, Polly ran and hopped toward the baby in a purple costume and screamed in vehement anger before landing on the baby, ready to take revenge by attacking him. But then, another baby popped up from behind and bonked her on the head with a rattler. But this only served to anger Polly further as she turned to him and roared in a vicious rage like never before, even going so far as to take away the rattler and break it in two. Surprised, the baby only babbled as if saying, "Uh-Oh." before Polly lunged at him, leading to the two rolling around the floor very quickly as all the other babies marched, or in this case, waddled against her, one of which even smashed the milk bottle against the table, much to one of the mothers' concerns as she tried to stop her own.
"Can someone get the manager?!", the mother asked in concern.
As for Hop Pop, he walked over to a Fountain of Wishes, satisfied to overcome his mission as he chuckled.
"Take that, Anne. Told you your world was easy-pea-", Hop Pop began.
But before he can finish gloating, he gasped upon seeing how many coins were in the source.
"It can't be... Thousands of coppers just there for the taking... FOR FREEEEEE?!", Hop Pop spoke excitedly.
"Wait a minute.", Hop Pop said, stopping himself before he looked at Anne, Sasha, and Marcy, who were distracted by Gabby.
"They didn't know it but they ended up going to the same restaurant.", Gabby said.
"Chance.", Hop Pop spoke eagerly before he took out his hat, sack, and shelter altogether and jumped into the Fountain as if it was a pool.
Unfortunately for him, the official Mark saw it happen and gasped before speaking through his Walkie-Talkie.
"We got a disrober stealing wishes in progress. Over.", Mark stated before he went after Hop Pop.
Back with Anne, Sasha, Marcy, and Gabby...
"So what started out as a love triangle is now some kind of disgusting love rhombus.", Gabby said.
"Okay, Gabby. This is all, really good an all, but we really have to get going.", Sasha said just as marcy turned and saw what was happening, much to her worry as she gasped.
"Um, girls?", Marcy asked.
"What?", Anne and Sasha puzzled before they both gasped upon seeing Sprig and Ivy in danger as they rolled on top of the giant eye.
"I MAY HAVE TOUCHED SOMETHING!", Sprig shouted.
"HOW DID IT ALL GO SO WRONG?!", Ivy sobbed a bit.
"Oh shoot...!", Anne panicked.
"Sorry, Gabby, but we gotta go!", Sasha urged before she, Anne, and Marcy all took off.
"Good to see you, Gabs!", Marcy added.
"Later, guys! Glad you made it back!", Gabby waved.
They ran down the escalator to save Sprig, but then, they found themselves meeting back up with their respective siblings.
"Guys?! What are you doing out here?", Anne asked.
"Yeah, we ran into some trouble of our own.", Jackie responded.
Just then, they overheard loud screaming and turned to see mothers with their babies in their chariots feeling away in a panic.
"Don't go in there! It's madness!", a mother shouted before out popped Polly, ready to tear anyone who gets in her way apart, even more so than usual.
"YOU'LL PAY FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE! YOU HEAR ME?! YOU WILL PAAAAY!", Polly roared vehemently in anger with an echo at the end.
"POLLY?!", everyone shouted in shock, having never seen her this angry before.
Anne, though, tried to calm down.
"At least it can't get any worse.", Anne said,
"Anne...! Don't you ever say that!", Sasha groaned.
"HELP ME, ANNE! HELP ME!", Hop Pop shouted as he was being persecuted by Mark, screaming, especially when he's now green.
"HOP POP?! WHY ARE YOU GREEN?!", Anne shouted.
"THE CURSED FOUNTAIN DID THIS TO ME. YOU'RE RIGHT, ANNE! EVERYTHING HAS ITS PRICE!", Hop Pop shouted.
"GAAAH! I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN! OF COURSE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM WOULD SCREW UP! HOW COULD THIS DAY GET ANY WORSE?!", Marcy panicked.
But just then, a blast shot out, pushing the witches through the wall before they landed. When the smoke cleared, Judge-Bot was shown, chuckling boastfully as he held the dragon scales in front of his blaster.
"You had to ask, Mar-Mar...", Anne and Sasha groaned in unison.
"Seriously? Now, we gotta deal with you again?", Luke groaned.
"I thought Grime whacked you all away.", Caleb spoke in surprise.
"He did. Luckily, we survived. Unfortunately, we've been separated. Though, I did happen to come across this little trinket in the girl's possession. And then, it hit me. This item is one of the scales of the fallen dragon, Daggertail.", Judge-Bot stated, shocking hte group.
"Surprised. I thought so. It'll be fitting to destroy you all with one of his scales. Just think, witches. You've all failed to save Daggertail from his demise, just as you will fail to save your sisters now!", Judge-Bot smirked, preparing to fire.
But as mad as everyone is, the only one he did start to get a real reaction out of was Boscha, who started to tense angrily, surprising even Luke and Lucia.
"Boscha...?", Luke puzzled.
"You mean to tell me that you stole that dragon scale just so you could rub it in our faces that we failed to save him when he actually sacrificed himself so we could live... AND MESS UP MY AGING POTION?!", Boscha shouted angrily.
"Oh. That's not exactly what I was going for...", Judge-Bot admitted, a little taken aback by her reaction.
"Yeah, well guess what?! YOU'RE DEAD, YOU SON OF A WITCH!", Boscha shouted vehemently, casting a spell circle with which to blast rapid fireballs at him before he could have time to dodge, let alone guard.
Unfortunately, it was also damaging the mall, already starting a fire.
"The mall's getting wrecked!", Marcy said in worry.
"OK. First things first: Gotta clean up this mess! Jackie, Rose, you're with me!", Anne said before running off to save Sprig.
"Right!", Jackie and Rose agreed before they followed her.
Nearby, it showed a mother recording her child jumping on a trampoline.
"You're doing great, sweetie.", the mother grinned.
But then, Anne made a great leap through the trampoline, causing the child to fly through the air and scream as her mother took a picture. Fortunately, Rose caught the girl while swinging in mid-air and then brought her back to her mother.
"Here.", Rose grinned, puzzling the mother while the girl giggled.
"Wha?", Molly Jo puzzled in amazement as meanwhile, Jackie went over to the hair growth scam stand.
"I'm gonna need this cup, scammer!", Jackie shouted as she grabbed said cup and dumped every single content out of it.
"Hey!", the Hair Growth scammer shouted.
Then, she stuck her tongue onto the ceiling and then used the momentum to swing around the fountain while picking up the water with the cup and then tossing the water at the fire before it could spread further before landing back on the ground in relief. As for Sprig and Ivy, they were about to hit a wall, but Anne managed to save them in time as the giant eye broke apart along with what was stuck onto it, creating an abstract structure.
For the Wus' case, they grabbed Hop Pop, shook every single coin off him and swam back to the fountain with all the coins, returning them back.
"Phew! That takes care of that.", Marcy sighed.
"What made you think that stealing coins from the fountain was a good idea, anyway?", Max glared.
"I thought they were for free.", Hop Pop said.
"Well, now you know. Never steal coins from the fountain.", Alexis stated.
For the Waybrights' case, Allison and Pat surrounded a very livid Polly, her eyes practically blank, blood red in rage, if not crimson read.
"Oh, man! We've got a problem!", Pat spoke in worry.
"She's hit her berserker peak!", Allison guessed.
"GET OUT OF MY WAY!", Polly roared before lunging toward Allison only for her to bounce her away with her chin and a croak, Pat doing the same as Sasha also noticed Boscha firing at Judge-Bot in a similar rage, though hers was nowhere near as ad as Polly's right now.
"That's it... Ally, Pat! Launch Polly towards me!", Sasha urged.
"On it!", Allison and Pat shouted before the former bounced Polly toward Sasha, who caught her.
"Hey, Boscha! Stand down! I've got a ticking time bomb for Judge-Bot, here, and I'm not afraid to use it!", Sasha called, prompting Boscha to turn to see Sasha and widen her eyes from seeing a furious Polly before ceasing fire on Judge-Bot.
"Hey, Judge-Bot! Hope your insurance policy is covered!", Sasha shouted with a smirk before tossing Polly toward him, the pollywog roaring in a blind rage.
"No, I'm not...! NO, I'M NOT!", Judge-Bot panicked before Polly quickly drilled into him, literally, tearing him apart into pieces and tossing them aside, coincidentally toward an abstract art piece that was once a giant eye and several other art projects.
"O... M... G...! I'VE GOTTA TELL PEOPLE ABOUT THIS!", Gabby shouted, taking off in excitement.
Meanwhile, Polly was panting angrily with said pants turning into poor sobs as Jackie went over to her and hugged her with a squeak as Rose and everyone else caught up, seeing Jackie hug Polly.
"Polly, are you okay?", Rose asked.
"Why are you so sad?", Jackie asked genuinely.
"I tried! I tried so hard to complete my work without a fight! I worked so hard to make it, but these little jerks destroyed my doll! You were right, Jackie...! It was a madhouse back there...! A MADHOUSE!", Polly sobbed before sobbing into her arms.
"Jackie? Madhouse?", the mothers puzzled before gasping in horror upon a dark realization.
"Oh, no...! Don't tell me that she's the one who...!", a mother began before Jackie gave a dark, intimidating glare, similar to Anne's but worse as her eyes have become ghastly black for the sclerae and red for the irises.
"WHICH ONE OF YOU BRATS HURT HER...?!", Jackie spoke in a distorted voice.
Instinctively, while the rest of the mothers backed away, only one, along with the baby in a purple costume, stayed still, a bit too frozen in fear to realize what was going on soon enough as Jackie dropped Polly.
"Uh-oh.", Polly spoke before Jackie turned and stomped toward the baby in a purple costume, filling him and his mother with an ominous dread of fear, even causing the baby to whine as she panted and growled almost demonically, worrying everyone, even Polly herself.
"Jackie...?", Rose asked worriedly.
"Jackie, no! Whatever you're doing, put that out of your mind!", Anne warned.
"It's not worth it!", Sasha added.
"He's just a boy, Jackie! He's just a boy!", Marcy added dramatically.
"No, Jackie! Don't do it! That's my thing!", Polly shouted before Jackie only loomed her shadow over the culprit who destroyed Polly's doll like it was nothing and exhaled her breath like it was smoke from a dragon's mouth, threatening to make him cry.
But then, unexpectedly Jackie calmed down.
"That wasn't a nice thing to do, you know.", Jackie scolded, puzzling the baby.
"Eh?", the baby puzzled.
"Say whaaat?", Polly asked.
"Now, I know that you're a baby and you don't know any better, and that possibly, you don't even know what I'm saying, but you need to know that what you did not only made Polly angry, but it hurt her, too. You made her feel bad. For all I know, you might've made her feel even worse than she was already, even. See, for example, let's say I take your rattler. How would you feel, then?", Jackie asked, taking said rattler before the baby, as expected, started to fuss over it with a bit of whining.
"Exactly. You'd be upset. Polly was more than upset when you took her doll and ripped it apart. She was FURIOUS! She even tore apart that robot back there! How many of you can do that?", Jackie asked before clearing her throat.
"The point is, you need to think about how your actions make other people feel. So, for another example, since I already know that you want it back, I'll do the courtesy of asking, 'What's the magic word?'", Jackie asked, waving it.
Frankly, the sight of the rattler waving in front of him, made his eyes widen in wonder before babbling as if saying, "Please?" while reaching for it.
"I'm going to assume that means, 'please'. So, there you go.", Jackie spoke, handing the rattler, back to the baby.
"So, you see, it's nice to be considerate for other people.", Jackie grinned before she looked up to the baby's mother.
"Ma'am. Can you help your baby remember this cherished lesson?", Jackie requested.
"Uh..., yes. I can do that.", the woman assured, still surprised by how calm Jackie is now.
Then, Jackie brought Polly over to the baby.
"So, what do you say? Can you two get along the next time?", Jackie asked.
The baby cautiously held out his hand. Polly was hesitant, but, after a moment, she gave a bit of a groan.
"Well, I guess I couldn't stay mad at you as if you're my enemy. I've been there. Babies'll be babies, right?", Polly asked as the two shook hands, making everyone who saw this touching scene hold their hands to their hearts and "aw."
"Let this be a learning experience for all of you here today! It's very important that you take all this to heart. You may come across someone who's going through a very hard time like her someday.", Jackie said.
"What about me? I still need to catch that disrober for stealing those wishes.", Mark said.
"Well, clearly, he either forgot how Fountains of Wishes works (due to Alzheimer's disease) or he's an old man new to city life.", Jackie explained.
"Huh. You know, I hadn't thought about that.", Mark said.
"Well, you want something thought-provoking? Try looking at this new abstract art piece over there. And good night. I'm glad we all had this talk.", Jackie said, pointing to the art piece as she and the others left, leaving the remaining mall-goers astonished.
"Wow. This Mad Bull Jackie must've really come a long way.", one mother said.
"Yeah.", another agreed before a nearby woman noted it while everyone else looked on in awe.
"Honestly, I can't tell the difference. Oh, hey... bada-bing.", the woman spoke.
"Just great... Reduced to an abstract art piece for the humans. Ooh, humiliating...!", Judge-Bot groaned.
Later, everyone came back home, this time with the dragon scales added in Boscha's aging potion.
"Here. Drink this. It should help with the fever now.", Belos said before Lia, Della, and Masa all drank the formula, bed-ridden from the fever.
"So, how is it?", Camila asked before Lia, Della, and Masa opened their eyes wide.
"Not very good... In taste, anyway. Other than that... I think it's working great.", Della grinned as she sat up, the formula finally doing its work.
"Oh, Della. We're so glad that you, Lia, and Masa are okay...!", Eda said, happily hugging Della with tears in her eyes.
Meanwhile, the Plantars and Ivy were in the living room, feeling dejected.
"Well, guess we failed our trials.", Sprig sighed.
Normally, this'd be where Polly would say something snarky, like, "Oh, you think?", but she was hit hard too personally.
"Yeah... I guess we did.", Polly said.
"You know that reminds me. You were really willing to forgive the baby back there? After what you said to him? And without a fuss this time?", Jackie puzzled.
"Yeah, well, don't get used to it. It's just that after that mess, I'm kinda emotionally exhausted right now.", Polly admitted before laying down.
"I guess I didn't want to admit it, but... I've been dealing with past trauma after Frobo was destroyed and... I just don't know how to cope with the pain otherwise.", Polly admitted.
"Still, it's a good thing you two made up when you did.", Jackie grinned.
"Yep... But we still failed...", Sprig sighed.
"No no. I'M the one who failed. I shouldn't have put you guys through all of this in the first place. It was too much and too soon.", Anne admitted.
"Well, Polly did say she's going through something since... you know, so that's saying something.", Sasha agreed.
"Don't feel too bad. Turns out we could stand to learn a few things about your world.", Hop Pop admitted.
"Yeah. Starting with when to know it's a good time for an ambush.", Ivy responded.
"I just really thought throwing you into the deep end would work. I mean, it worked for me in Amphibia.", Anne admitted.
"Actually, about that...", Jackie began before the Plantars just scoffed and laughed as Sprig shook a brief moment, causing Polly to stagger. Then, they laughed even stronger.
"You barely survived.", Hop Pop responded.
"Yeah. Remember when she was looking at her phone and walked right into that pool of quicksand?", Polly asked before it showed a flashback of Anne being sunk by a pool of quicksand with her siblings and the Plantars rescuing her.
Then, back to the present...
"Which reminds us why it's not okay to walk around while distracted by phones.", Jackie added.
"Or when she was napping outside and a swarm of Skullsuckers tried to carry her away?", Sprig asked before it showed a flashback of Anne asleep while being carried by Skullsuckers as her siblings and the Plantars going off to rescue her, again.
And back to the present, the Plantars were still laughing even stronger.
"That really happened?", Sasha asked, surprised.
"You'd be surprised how often it used to happen.", Jackie responded.
"Hey, I don't remember that last part.", Anne asked.
"Well, what do you expect? You were sleeping?", Rose asked.
"And you did wake up when the danger was over.", Jackie responded.
"The point is, Anne, we were always looking out for you, even if you didn't always notice.", Hop Pop responded.
"Thanks, guys. I had no idea. And I'll try to do better about easing you into this place.", Anne said.
"Yeah. All of us will.", Marcy grinned.
Then, Anne, Sasha, Marcy, their siblings, Ivy, and the Plantars embraced.
"I think we need to get Hop Pop to a shower.", Sprig said after sniffing.
"Oh, yes, please. My skin is burning.", Hop Pop agreed.
A/N: So, that concludes the 2nd chapter with Polly revealed to have been affected by Andrias' actions back in the castle, too. Which begs the question: who else do you think would be revealed to have been affected by his actions in the next (or 4th) chapter?
