Chapter 3: visit
The night had passed, but Courtney had gotten no sleep. She was exhausted, and still pondering over the letter.
"I can't focus on that. Maybe it's just some annoying teenager pranking Chef," she sighed. "I need to go see Duncan at the CN tower; just like I promised." She hated Duncan, but she still kept her promises.
She also kept her secrets. Most of the time. Bridgette had texted her that only her, Geoff, and Courtney could know what the note said. "But how is it gonna get better if I tell nobody?" she pondered. "I'm gonna regret this." she got in her car, and drove to the CN tower, where Duncan was waiting.
"There you are, Princess," he said to her.
Courtney rolled her eyes. "You're so immature! Anyways, why did you even bring me here?"
"You didn't read the letter? I have a plan that could make us the most powerful people in Canada!" Duncan exclaimed.
"Before you tell me your plan, you need to know something," she added. "Chris is planning on kidnapping all 22 of us originals for a season of Total Drama."
"Everybody?" he asked. "Even Ezekiel?"
"Even Ezekiel," Courtney said. "Which means we're gonna be kidnapped too."
Duncan asked, "How do you know about this."
Courtney replied, "I sent my letter to you, and I accidentally grabbed..well..a letter from Chris to Chef."
"No WAY!" Duncan exclaimed. "Chris TOTALLY did that!"
"I'm being serious, Duncan!" she complained. "Now, what's your HUGE plan."
Duncan responded, "It was to reunite the original cast, and get us all to do a rebellion against Total Drama. Now, we can not only do it to stop Chris from making seasons of total drama- but to save our butts!"
"We need to do this quick," pointed out Courtney. "He is planning to kidnap us. How about we recruit the people closest to us first? I'm in constant contact with Bridgette and Geoff..how about you?"
"I chat with Owen and Noah a lot," Duncan admitted. "And Noah does the mail, so we can both find him easily."
"Where should we keep everyone?" Courtney asked. "We can't keep meeting up here everyday with everyone- someone will eventually forget, and BOOM- our plan falls apart."
Duncan suggested, "How about we keep everyone in your apartment?"
"No, no, no!" Courtney said.
Duncan retorted, "Yes, yes, yes!"
"If you wanna do this so badly, let's do it at YOUR house," Courtney said.
Duncan explained, "It's farther away!"
"Which makes it the PERFECT place to hide everyone!" Courtney smirked as she saw Duncan stumped.
"FINE. WE DO IT AT MY HOUSE. Let's go get Bridgette and Geoff first. Wait..what about Lydia?" Duncan asked.
Courtney replied, "Bring her too."
"Okay. Let's go! My car or yours?" Duncan asked.
"I am not sitting in a car with you," Courtney said. "I'll follow you."
Duncan nodded, and they both got in their cars, driving back to Bridgettes place.
On the way
"Okay, so texting and driving is illegal, but this is IMPORTANT," Courtney repeated to herself.
Courtney: pack ur things
Bridgette: what
Courtney: rebellion against chris, hiding in duncan's house, lyd & geoff come too
Bridgette: ur crazy
Courtney: ik
Bridgette: geoff's ok with it, lydia thinks it's an adventure
Courtney: lyd's right, it is
HONK! Courtney stopped texting when she found out she was holding up a group of people since the green light came on. She immediately put her phone away and continued to drive.
