"I'm a Digidestined?" Andrew asked shocked.
"Yes. Andrew Kent, you and a select few others are chosen to save the Digital World as well as your own. Do you accept?" Lutheramon asked.
"Of course I do. I will do anything to help my World as well as yours." Andrew answered proudly.
"Excellent. The attacks won't come yet. But I and the other Digimon are here now. All you have to do is find the other Destined." Lutheramon said.
"Right," Andrew said, "so when do we start?"
"We can start tomorrow." Lutheramon said.
"Oh wait…I have school tomorrow." Andrew said remembering.
"Hmm. That does pose as a problem." Lutheramon said thinking.
"Hey maybe the other Digidestined are here in Detroit! They probably go to my school." Andrew said excitedly.
"It's possible. Alright when you go to school tomorrow try to discreetly find the others." Lutheramon said.
"You got it." Andrew said.
The next day was a Monday and Andrew was riding the city bus on his way to Central High School. When he arrived he went in the cafeteria and had his breakfast then went to his First hour class which was Gym.
"Alright Maggots!! Today we're going to play Dodge ball to whip you Lackeys into shape. Line up!" the Coach said and blew his whistle. When everyone was in teams and against the wall, the Coach blew his whistle again and everyone ran for a ball. Andrew didn't get one but that was no problem. He was built for contact sports and was trained for Defense in case he ever got mugged while walking home, yet he still kept his slim figure. He saw a ball head straight for him and he spun sideways in the air and caught two balls after he landed. Then he hurled them at two opponents and nailed them in the chests knocking them back. Then a second one came for him and he leaned back like Neo from the Matrix and grabbed two for that were on the ground and whipped one at a kid and hit him in the face, not too hard though, and with the second one he hit a girl in the hip. Then it was only him and another girl on the floor. He noticed something on her front pocket and saw it was a Digivice, then he got back in the game and when she loosed her ball he dogged and his ball was thrown and she caught it.
"Winner!" The coach said and took the ball from the girl. Andrew walked over to her and held out his hand.
"Good game." He said smiling. The girl only smirked and nodded as she walked off.
"Huh, that was odd." Andrew said as he walked off. He soon got dressed and left for his next class as the bell rang. Then as he was out in the hall, Andrew heard a voice behind him.
"Hey kid!" came the voice. It was the girl who beat him at doge ball in first hour.
"Hey." Andrew said in nervousness.
"So, you're a Digidestined too." She said as more of a statement than a question.
"Y-yeah I am." Andrew said holding up his Digivice.
"Cool. Meet me at this location." She said turning," by the way my names Miku."
Andrew looked at the paper he was handed and read it. It told him to meet her at the park. Smiling he ran to class so he could be done and over with school and tell Lutheramon.
It had taken a while to get to the park Miku had suggested they meet but they had finally got there.
"So you made it. This is Renamon. Say hi." Miku said.
"Hello." Renamon said.
"So where's your digimon?" Miku asked.
"Right here." Lutheramon said as he appeared beside Andrew.
"This is Lutheramon." Andrew said.
"An Honor." Lutheramon said kneeling.
"Lutheramon, huh? Never heard of that digimon before." Miku said.
"That's because I am the only one." Lutheramon said.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you." Miku said ashamed.
"It's quite alright. I'm sort of a rare digimon so it takes much more than that to offend me." Lutheramon said reassuringly.
"Well, anyway. I assume you are looking for the other Destined too?" Miku asked.
"Yeah we are." Andrew said.
"How about we look for them together? It might be faster that way." Miku proposed.
"Alright, sounds like a plan." Andrew said. Then there was an explosion on the east side of the city.
"Oh no. they're early." Lutheramon said.
"What do you mean they're early?" Andrew asked.
"The enemy Digimon that are planning to take over the Digital world must have figured out we were here." Lutheramon said.
"Well, we'll discuss this later. Let's go." Miku said.
"Right!" the others said and they ran off to fight the oncoming threat.
