"Ha! Serves that cheating brat right!" Shigaraki spoke excitedly as he watched the screen in the corner. The boy who had fought the upper tier Nomu, Izuku Midoriya, had lost in his fight against the brainwashing child. It was a shame if you asked Kurogiri, he found the longer fights to be good entertainment for his customers.

"Tomura." Sensei's voice spoke over the festival. "How goes your search for the hero killer?"

"Fantastic, Sensei!" Tomura's voice was filled with a child like excitement, one that unnerved most who heard it. "We know when he's going to act, and we've been lent a new party member to kill him."

"I see, this will benefit your alliance greatly, but I believe you can gain more from Stain's defeat."

"I'm so sorry, All Might!"

"Midoriya! No- That's not-" The two were sat in one of the festivals prep rooms- well, Toshinori was sat, Izuku was bowing. "I called you here because I knew you'd think losing meant something has changed."

"But-"

"There's no 'but' about it Midoriya, the sports festival might dictate internships, but it doesn't make you any less worthy of my power."

"I-I see. Thank you All Might!" Izuku prepared to leave, but not before recalling something he had noticed during the cavalry battle. "Do you... do you know what's going on with Todoroki?"

"I'm not sure what you mean, young Midoriya." Yagi watched as Izuku retrieved his phone, pulling up the footage of the cavalry battle, at his confrontation with Todoroki.

"That's the only time I've seen Todoroki use that side of his quirk, I just thought it was weird was all."

"I can answer that!" Nezu's voice spoke through a speaker that definitely wasn't on the wall two seconds ago. After listening to some of Nezu's tangents when explaining the Miraculous, Izuku wasn't even surprised he was listening. "Endeavour has a large amount of legal roadblocks around his children's quirks, supposedly it's for privacy reasons, but I have my doubts."

"Enji's prideful, but I doubt he'd do anything illegal."

"That's where you are wrong Toshinori, have either of you heard of the eldest Todoroki son?" The principal was met with two negatives. "I doubt you would have, it was mostly covered up, even I don't have every detail. What I can tell you was overuse of the boy's quirk killed Endevour's first child, that's more than enough for me to suspect that he has to do with Shoto's reluctance as well. Not to mention his- previously completely stable- wife's mental breakdown."

"So what are we supposed to do?" Izuku spoke after a pause to process the new information.

"We'll need an admission from a member of the Todoroki family. So Midoriya, how do you feel about going undercover."

It was the first day back after the sports festival, throughout which was filled entirely with Bakugou bragging about his victory. Izuku was just glad the boy didn't know Todoroki nearly beat him with only half his quirk. He didn't want to know what Bakugou would do. That was how Izuku ended up here, staring at a whiteboard with nothing written on it. Coming up with a hero name was hard in normal circumstances, but when all of your abilities were completely different to each other, it was hard to stick to a theme. None of the ones he made as a kid worked, they were just variations of the word 'Might.'

"King explosion murder!"

"No." Well at least he would do better than Bakugou. A hero name was something that showed what kind of hero he wanted to be and he knew at least two things he was already working towards, so he'd do something with that. "Alright, Todoroki, Ilda, Midoriya, does one of you want to present while Bakugou rethinks his?" Izuku stood up before he had a chance to convince himself not to. He was happy with this, so he'd present it.

"I want to be a hero who can make people feel safe when they see me. That why I went with this: 'to gather ease.'" Technically the Kanji he had used was for a girl's name, but it fit a lot of his criteria. What he had told the class was true, but there was more to why he chose it. The start sounded like the English for Miraculous, while the end was said in the same way as his name. On top of that, swap the end from 'ku' to 'kyū' and you got: 'to gather nine.' He wanted some way of showing his appreciation for what All Might was offering.

He had been in UA for several weeks now, but this felt like the official start of his journey. Now, while he was here at least, he wasn't Izuku. Now, he was the Miracle hero: Miraku.

"This is Hosu city. This is Hosu city." Izuku stepped off the train as the automatic doors slid open. It was quiet in Hosu, no doubt due to the infamous 'Hero killer' who had began his crusade through the city.

When Nezu had told Izuku that he had gotten him an internship with Endeavour, he was rather curious to how the Rat God had managed it, until he realised, Nezu was the Rat God. So now, he had been told to head to Hosu, where Endeavour had set up a temporary agency in order to hunt the hero killer. Despite the true reason for his internship, the principal had told him he could learn a lot from the number two.

Even if the man turned out horrible, no one could deny his sidekicks left stronger than when they arrived. "Midoriya, why did you choose to come here?" Todoroki spoke as the two of them stood in the waiting room of the large converted office building.

"I just think I could learn a lot from him."

"You could have gotten an internship with All Might if you wanted to, but you came here instead."

Izuku just looked at him with a confused expression. "All Might doesn't take interns though."

"He'd probably take his kid." Shoto went silent as Izuku tried to stutter out a response. Before he could however, the room temperature rose drastically.

"Shoto, Miraku." Enji Todoroki entered the room, his gaze scanning the two boys, before turning towards the clock above the door. "Those train delays mean it's too late for training, your shared room is at the far end of the sidekick's' quarters, the showers are a floor below. Shoto has the key, I expect you both ready for training at eight tomorrow, breakfast is served at six." With that, the man left the agency, muttering something about hit and runs.

"Todoroki." The teen looked up from his Soba. "Why do you think I'm All Might's kid?"

"You have the same power as him. You transform with jewellery." He nodded towards the bracelet on Izuku's wrist. "When that Nomu thing appeared, it had two very different powers, then you broke one of those bracelets and suddenly All Might had a power exactly like the Nomu's. Then again in the cavalry battle, you used those green barriers. So what's the connection, can you and All Might steal quirks?"

Brilliant, Todoroki had figured out an international secret, then accidentally guessed another one immediately after. Izuku needed Todoroki's trust to fine out more about Endeavour, he might as well let Todoroki know that he was right. Except that last bit, he could never bring himself to use a power like All for One.

Miraku is an actual name (at least the internet says it is) that can mean to gather ease. I didn't even know it was a name when I came up with it, I was just trying to combine Miraculous and Izuku. Plus it can refer to his gathering of the Miraculous as well. Please let me know if any of that's wrong as I know zero Japanese.
