As Izuku accepted the deal that Serafall proposed, he still had a few tears rolling down his cheeks, but his smile was something to behold. Serafall couldn't help herself as her hands went behind his head as she put him on her chest, lightly stroking his hair.

His hair is so soft, it almost feels like cotton!

"I don't know what you have been through before I take you here, but one thing is for sure. Things will never be the same~" Izuku hugged her tight as he couldn't hold back the emotions he was keeping for himself for years.

He knew that he had Kuroka for years beside him, but to see that he was away from everything, he honestly didn't know how to feel about it. But he didn't try to comprehend these feelings, not now at least.

The two stayed in this position for a few minutes, as Serafall let him cry all he could. She didn't mind it, it was clear that he needed this right now. It's after a while that Izuku's grip loosened as he detached himself from the hug. With his eyes dried up, he looked up at Serafall.

"Do… Do you know where Kuroka is? She's like a black cat, but in a human form…. Erm, h-how do I explain th-" Izuku was caught off as Serafall just smiled at him, stroking his head. There was a hint of excitement as her hand touched his hair. Izuku wasn't aware how she enjoyed this feeling.

"Why don't you see for yourself? I'm sure she'll be happy to see you,~" Serafall said this as she pointed at the door. Before she could finish her sentence, Izuku was running to the door as he slammed it open. Looking frantically left and right, he could barely contain the excitement to see the Nekomata again.

In the room, Serafall chuckled as she saw him running immediately outside of it, searching for his friend. How ironic was it for a human and an ultimate-class rogue Devil to be friends? But as she saw him slam the door, she noticed how his body flinched the moment the loud sound of the door hitting the wall was heard.

Her eyes frowned as he ran out of the room as if nothing happened. She couldn't help wondering what could be the cause of it.

What was that just now? This wasn't a normal reaction, far from that. There's something I'm missing here. If I'm making him my Queen, I'll have to help him in any way possible. If he has some sort of trauma from his past, it's my duty to help him through that… But I can't be sure of it until I ask him. Nothing urgent for now but I hope it's nothing important…

Serafall immediately shook her head, telling herself to not worry too much about it. It wasn't her to be this concerned about someone she just met. But like she said earlier, she felt drawn to him, like some sort of connection? Well this could wait for now.

"Well, I'm sure they both need this moment. I can still wait for my cute Queen~" With this, she exited the room and went somewhere in the property as the scene turned back to Izuku and Kuroka.

Izuku wasted no time seeing his female friend as he lunged at her in a tight hug as tears streamed down his face. A look of immense relief was shown to his face as he buried it in her chest. Kuroka, seeing the boy like this, strokes his hair as a small smile escapes her lips.

"I see you're doing well, that's a relief, nya~" Hearing her voice, his grip only tightened, but this didn't faze the nekomata one bit, he needed this after all.

"Ku…Kuroka-chan!!" His face lifted up as his eyes met hers. As it did, Izuku was surprised to see that she was crying too, although a lot more silently than him.

His right hand slowly reached her face as it wiped her tears, shaking his head. There was a look in his eyes that she couldn't quite describe right now. While Izuku wiped her tears, she was astonished to see how physical he was right now. She knows how Izuku isn't one to be a clingy person overall, so this intrigued her.

"D-don't cry, I'm fine, see? I'm fine! I'm alive and well!! Isn't that amazing?" Through his tears, Izuku was smiling brightly at her as she could only cry even more hearing his voice filled with some new happiness.

Kuroka wasn't one to usually cry or anything of that sort. She was a simple minded person that up till now was only enjoying her life with the boy she was embracing at the moment. But seeing him displaying such positive emotion for the first time in years brought her to tears.

Although she knew that Izuku had many problems and traumas, seeing him at this moment happy to see her and saying so joyously that he was alive had her on the edge as she could only smile as she buried his face in her breasts. With tears falling down, she didn't need to say anything, and neither did Izuku.

With the two getting in a comfortable silence with the only sound being the silent cry and the droplet of water hitting the ground. It took a few minutes before both calmed themselves as they sat beside each other's side.

Now with a calm mind, they both looked at each other as Izuku turned his body toward Kuroka. His eyes displayed a hopeful look as his left hand was closed, holding something firmly as the girl could see what she was doing.

But before Kuroka could say anything, Izuku looked down at his closed hand and held it close to his chest, as his eye looked back at Kuroka. The expression it was showing her, could it be…

"Kuroka-chan, you still believe me right? That I can be a hero…?" It was this question again. She stopped counting on the numerous times that he asked her those words, but she never felt tired of saying it. It doesn't matter how many times it'll take for him to understand, it really doesn't matter.

She nodded her head, as her soft hands grabbed his cheeks, forcing him to look at her as she had a sweet smile on her face. It was that same smile that she showed him every time he needed it. He knows how much of a tease she can be, and it does annoy him at times.

But that smile melt his heart every time

"You'll always be my hero Nya~. You always had what it take Kitten~"

"...?! H-hey! I told you to stop calling me like that…"

"No can do! Now, why don't you tell me what's in your hands Nya~."

Due to Kuroka's teasing from her name for him, Izuku's face was red like a cheery, from the flustered feeling he was having. But as she asked for the object that was in his hand, Izuku simply looked at her with a bashful smile.

"I-I learn a lot of things today, maybe too much to handle for me, but enough to change my view on my life in a general matter. I mean, we are in a whole new world!! How cool is that!"

With Izuku excited, Kuroka giggled as he seemed so amazed by it. Well, she spent about a decade in Izuku's world. But it bugged her when she thought about it. She told him that she was from another world…

"... and the supernatural even exists!! Like Devils and Angels!" While Izuku continues to mumbles about this, Kuroka knew that this would eventually happen, even more so when he was brought here, but the look of shock on her face was a sign that she still didn't expect this outcome.

But upon hearing him with such enthusiasm, how can she interject him? Sure, she was worried for him about the danger of the supernatural, but she can't force him into ignorance.

It seems like I'll have to keep an even closer eye on you Izuku Nya~

With a teasing smile on her face, Kuroka returns to reality as Izuku still mumbles about the supernatural. This often happens to him to talk in a low voice like this, talking about anything that caught his interest. She found it cute but it concerned her too at times.

Approaching the boy, she put a finger on his lips as the boy's cheeks instantly flushed seeing the gesture and jumped in surprise. His eyes darted up to the nekomata as she still had that teasing smile, filled with happiness in it.

"I get it Izuku, you don't have to go so far you know Nya~. I knew about this a long time ago. After all, this is my original world Kitten~"

"W-wait, your world?? As in, this is where you come from?! T-this is amazing… w-wait! Does that mean that your cat features and powers aren't q-quirks?"

Kuroka softly shook her head and let her two tails wagged as she got excited to finally tell him the truth. She hated it to get this kept hidden from the boy, but it was better to leave it at that, even if she did tell him she came from another world.

Izuku might be quite the smart guy, but he's too gullible for his own good~

"Did I not tell you, I wasn't from your world originally. So it was impossible for me to have a quirk Nya~" As she explained this to the boy, his face had a look of realization, his eyes slowly going wide and his mouth slightly agape.

Upon the comprehension of the situation, Izuku felt stupid to not have made the connection beforehand. Fully understanding the situation, he chuckled to himself and rolled his eyes back with a bashful smile.

"How did I not realize that sooner? I feel really stupid now realizing that I was thinking you had a quirk this whole time." The two softly laugh at the mistake. Kuroka could see that Izuku was slightly different from the past.

She may have noticed or just now, but ever since he woke up and came to see her, she felt his emotions getting more accentuated, as if some sense of relief washed over him. Being so long with him, she could notice those minor changes that nobody could.

It was after that, Izuku opened his closed hand that was pressed to his chest the whole time. With a look of nervousness, he slowly showed the piece that he was holding, the one that Serfall gave him after his crucial decision.

To be fair, Kuroka was still mitigated about it, involving Izuku in this whole supernatural world was something she rather avoided, but she knew it was blind to happen. But after that talk with Serfall, she could only trust that maou. She was still classed as a rogue devil…

"I, erm… I wasn't sure about this. I mean this would m-mean throwing away my humanity, it's terrifying when I think about it…"

His hands were shaking while holding the queen piece. Kuroka walked slowly to him and held his hands firmly together. A soft smile escapes her lips, but her teasing demeanor was still present.

"It may be true, you'll become a Devil but not the kind you think. Big horns, spade shaped tail and red skin. This has nothing to do with how Devils are, I mean I'm a Devil too, despite looking the same as I was before, Nya~."

But Izuku was already aware of the true meaning of being a Devil. I'm his mind, it's like someone giving you a quirk. You'll receive powers from it, but neither your personality or your appearance, unless mutant quirk, will change. He'll remain the same, but with some extras.

As they continued to talk about Devils and what not, Serafall entered the room as she just listened to them with great attention. It was still a shock for her how a frail human could be so close to such a dangerous Devil, who was rogue no less yet.

There were some things she didn't know about them both yet, but it didn't exactly bother her much. People have their secrets and so does she. Despite being known for being an obnoxious person, Serafall knows when to stop herself and let people have their moments.

The first to notice her was Kuroka as she turned her head to the entrance of the room, seeing a smiling Serafall just standing there looking at the two. She knew why she was here, since Izuku showed her this chess piece, but the hesitation on her face was still visible.

But she couldn't decide for him, but guiding him was something that was within her reach. She'll make sure that Izuku will be able to defend himself and to not make him stray from his own values, she wouldn't forgive herself if so.

"Izuku-chan, it's about time you become a cute devil~" Hearing her voice, the boy's attention was immediately stripped away as he looked at Serafall with a look of excitement in his eyes, ready for what's about to unfold.

But through his body gesture, Izuku was deep down afraid, he knew that there won't be much changement to his body or personality. Even so, a part of him remains skeptical about the process and what the future would be. But he wouldn't back down so easily after going so far.

"Are you sure you want this, there's no going back from it, Nya~" Hearing Kuroka's voice and worry, Izuku's body stopped trembling as his eyes were burning with determination.

"I-I'm ready Kuroka, this is what I wanted after all. I-I can't save people with this…" Izuku looked down at his body and it might just be now that he noticed but, he really never trained in his life.

'Why is it now that I see how hypocritical I was? Being a hero? How could I have achieved that with such a frail body, I couldn't even defend myself against that sludge… I wanted to be a hero but never trained for it, how useless can I be…'

Taking a step forward, it may have just been a normal step for Kuroka and Serafall, but for Izuku, it was so much more than this. It was a new opportunity that Serafall was offering him, and with the support of Kuroka. He wasn't alone any more, and he'll make sure to make them proud. This time, he'll put effort into what he wants, no matter how long it will take.

Even if he wanted to be a hero, his decision wasn't solemnly for this. Deep down he knew what was his real reason, but he didn't want to accept it.

Following Serafall, with Kuroka behind him, the three walked to the long hallway that led to a luxurious living room. There, some sort of crest stands in a circle with symbols that Izuku couldn't deduce what it could mean.

The circle was centered to the room as there were two couches on each side, each of them able to fit three people. Next go the soda was a night stand, with various objects on them. The two couches were on a carpet, on them were other symbols that Izuku couldn't decipher. Finally, at the wall in front of the couch was a T.V on the top as below was an interior fire with some logs in it. The fire wasn't lit up at the moment as it just looked like some burned logs with black dust covering it.

The place was oddly calm, as it was just the three of them. Izuku didn't know if there were more people in the house, but asking it would probably be a bother and he'll surely know it soon enough.

Kuroka went to sit on one of the couches, getting comfortable as Izuku went to stand in the middle of the circle, as Serafall instructed him to do.

A/N: For the next part, it'll be a chant that I made up myself. I thought to add some lore with the whole reincarnation process. You can leave your impression of it as I'd like some feedback towards it.

"Let's start this Izuku-chan~" While Izuku was standing in the middle of the circle, Serafall approached him as he put her hands forward. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes as she began the chant.

In shadows deep, where whispers throng.

A spell is woven, ancient and strong.

From human essence, a devil reborn, yet mortal guise, by dawn's first morn.

The magic crest began to glow a clear blue color, the symbols glowing the most. The boy, almost blinded by the light, tried to cover his eyes, but he found himself unable to move. As if tied up by chains, Izuku was restricted by his movement.

"W-what's happening? I can't… move…?" Getting anxious, Izuku's body instinctively began trembling. He didn't know what was happening, but as he heard Kuroka's voice, he felt relieved.

"Don't try to fight it, you wouldn't want this to happen, trust me." Although he calmed down to her voice, having her voice sounding stern sent some shiver down his spine. Fearing for the worst, but with his determination still unwavered, Izuku stood still.

Through incantations, dark and profound,

A transformation, without a sound.

A human's soul, now devil's kin,

Yet outward form, unchanged within.

As the crest continued to glow, Izuku felt a presence within him, something entirely unknown to him. It was a weird feeling for him, as if he just noticed that something was dwelling inside him. But that wasn't what's really happening as he could also feel a vast wave of exhaustion washed over him, his energy depleting from him.

What is this feeling… I'm so tired but it feels like sleeping should be the last of my worries. This is so strange, is this supposed to happen?

Izuku's vision slowly started to blur as the amount of energy leaving him was too much. But he tried his best to stay awake, his pupils feeling so heavy.

"Fufu~ little kitty is about to sleep, Nya~" Watching the process, it was all normal for Kuroka due to her experiencing it twice. Looking at Izuku, she was ready to catch him at any time, the moment Serafall would finish the incantation.

Reincarnate, the realms entwine,

A dance of dark and light align.

Human heart with devil's creed,

In twilight's realm, their fates now heed.

On Serafall's last word, a flash occured in Izuku's vision, from the crest before his world turned pitch black. With his body finally free, he couldn't handle the backlash anymore, his body shutting down with him falling to the ground.

Fortunately, Kuroka caught him just in time. The light snore coming from Izuku's lips was heard by Kuroka as she somehow felt relieved. With Serafall approaching, it wasn't long for the two walking out of the room.

As they put Izuku back in the bed he was initially in, they left him as Izuku was stuck in the bed for who knows how long again…

~ Izuku Midoriya POV ~

What… What just happened? I thought I was in the living room while- Ah, I must have fallen unconscious. I did feel exhausted all of a sudden, but this place… it seems like I've seen it somewhere.

As Izuku looked around him, there seems to be some distortion in the air around him as it was unclear where he was. As sound of glitch filled his ear and the scene before him started to change, something fell from the sky…

Black and white feathers.

As the sky was pouring feathers of those two colors, the scene eey finally came into a clear view for Izuku. But this wasn't something the boy wished to see as his heart sank at the view of what was in front of him.

Corpses piles on one another filled the field as the cold, stained blood was painted on the grassy field, mixed with the burning scent from the flames surrounding the field. Weapons scattered around the battlefield, with feathers still falling from the sky.

A pungent smell invaded Izuku's nostril as he put his hand on his nose, nor able to resist any longer. With tears swelling in his eyes, a urge to puke went to the boy. It was a sight that no teenager should go through.

"W-w-what is t-this?!" Puffing his cheeks from the puke, he was able to retract it back in his throat as he filled it loudly. This was the moment he realized something.

Even with the flame raging on the field and people seemingly crying in agony, there was no sound. Not one sound was heard by the boy as the only sound came from himself. His pupils dilating in horror, the sound of distortion was heard again.

This time, a voice different from himself was heard. But the direction that it was coming from… seems almost omniscient.

"ØⱧɆⱤ... ɆⱤØ? Ⱨ ⱠɆ ɄⱤⱤłɆ. ł Ⱨł ØⱤɆ ɆɆɄⱠ ɆVłⱤØɆ ł ɆɆĐɆĐ."

As the distorted voice talked, Izuku found himself in a completely different place. This time, the sound of waves from the sea was heard, as well as the sound of footsteps closing in on him.

As the presence sat down to him, the first feature he noticed was their long purple hair and their orange eyes gazing at him. His emerald eyes stared at the person, vaguely recognizable as a glitch effect was on the now woman next to him.

A sweet smile on her face, she had that whimsical aura surrounding her, which calmed Izuku as he let his guard down. The feeling of water in his feet, he turned to the figure.

"ł' ɆɆ Ø ⱠØ łɆ ł ⱤłɆĐⱠɎ Ɇ. Ɏ, Ⱨ' ɎØɄⱤ Ɇ?"

"I-Izuku… Izuku Midoriya. What's yours?" Although her voice was distorted by that glitch effect surrounding her, Izuku could comprehend her words, most of it at least.

But as he asked for her name, the figure shook its head. There was a sad smile in their face as she looked at the horizon. There was no ill intention, but Izuku had a feeling that he didn't belong to that place…

"Ⱨł ł Ø ⱧɆ łɆ ɎɆ. ł ɄⱤɆ ɎØɄ Ɇ łⱠⱠ ɆɆ ØØ Ʉ... ɎØɄ ⱧVɆ ɄⱧ Ø ØⱠłⱧ, ɎØɄ ⱠɆVłⱧ~"

As she said this, Izuku's vision started to blur out yet again. But he didn't want this to end right now. He had so many questions for the woman, but by the time he reached her, his eyes opened to the same bedroom he woke up the first time he entered this world.

"W-who was that? She seems familiar for some reason… yet it's the first time we met. And what she meant by… young Leviathan…?"
