Seven: The Consequences of My Actions?

Elaina woke the next morning to a text from Nemona. You up?

She halfway considered being sassy but thought better of it. Yeah, I'm up. Where are you?

In my room with Allie. Come on over.

Elaina threw a shirt on and made the sojourn across the shared bathroom. As she opened the door to Nemona and Allie's suite, her eyes widened. "Why is there an entire bargain bucket from Artazon fried Pidgey just sitting on the nightstand?" Allie just shrugged.

"I pre-gamed before the party last night. Anyway, did you get the email from Director Clavell?" Elaina pulled Rotom from her pocket and went to check.

To the students who call themselves the "Goon Squad"

I'll admit, Mr. Vaughn's report at first seemed like it would lead me to refer you to the judicial committee, however, upon hearing of your act of community service in preventing other residents of Mesagoza from coming to harm, I have elected to not make this referral, as per the student handbook. Please note, this may not be the same as the route I and the academy take next time.

Director Clavell

Elaina put her phone away and smiled. "Just goes to show, you prevent a little bit of trafficking, and you don't get punished for running the block." Nemona smiled before speaking. "Also, my memory is really fuzzy before I woke up in the nurse's office. Did I tell Trish she could tell you how we met?" Elena snorted, "Yeah. Y'all met in the shower like a damned fanfiction." Nemona turned bright red. "Look, let's just focus on school tomorrow. I don't want to fuck up the first day of classes." The three girls began comparing schedules as they laughed and joked about the upcoming school year.
