Casey breathed deeply, while suiting up into her armour knowing tomorrow was Guardians Day but pushing that out of her thoughts which Branchie understood seeing her best pal and sister tying up her fur hair into a ponytail using a star themed scrubchie hoping Phylla wouldn't try to tag along.
"I'm okay Branchie, let's go plus Rockie's busy preparing for tomorrow, remember." she said.
"I am Broot." Branchie replied hugging her after climbing onto her furry shoulders.
"Thanks Branchie, we should get going, you know." Casey replied as she flew out through the window 8nto the night, feeling the night breeze in her fur and ponytail breathing it in, grinning relieving Branchie that she was feelibg better knowing their family had been talking about Guardians Day, at dinner which had made Casey lose her appetite but she'd get a snack later at their favourite vegan donut store later.
Around midnight, both Branchie and Casey were sitting on a roof eating vegan donuts which was giving her a boost in energy seeing Tenuki Girl or Yoko there, looking sad which made Casey nervous.
"My dad decided to move me, Piper and Rockai to Liverpool, he told us at dinner." she admitted
"Doesn't he know you have school, that you're happy here." Casey said feeling tears sting hereyes clenching her paws into fists which Branchie and Yoko saw knowing she was processing this news.
"He and Piper explained it's safer for us, he's gone through a lot and I'm not happy aboht it but it's okay." Yoko told her hugging her tight but were hanging out and seeing the sunrise meant they had to get hone but Yoko would text her later seeing her fly off only Branchie was quiet as they returned home seeing Casey in pyjamas lying on her side making a cherryblossom grow on her barky shoulder to try to help her feel better.
Rocket thought that was sweet entering guessing Yoko had told her the news feeling bad for her leaving the gift box on the desk where Casey would see it, aftershe woke up kissing her furry head and leaving her room but sighed seeing Phylla in her armour sensing something had happened.
"Ssshhhh let her rest as she fouhd out, that Yoko's moving away." he told her.
That later morning, Casey was awake and still feeling sad about Yoko moving away along with it being Guardians Day entering the kitchen which Rocket noticed, making her milky coffee and Groot Morning pancakes seeing her quiet after wishing him a happy Guardians Day which he and Phylla understood.
"Come on kiddo, the parade's awesome you always love it every year." Rocket told her seeing her go upstairs after eating making him sighing as he and Phylla were leaving, hoping she'd feel better soon leaving the house but hoped things would be okay hoping she'd find the gift he'd left her.
