Full Moon Mating

A/N- Here is chapter 16. Please enjoy it. I'm rereading some chapters. Kikyo was with the group but when Kagome comes back, she was not around much after that.

Chapter 16: Birthing and Naming the Pups

Over the next two weeks, Kagome and the gang held training lessons. Shippo was coming along strong with his training and he was growing up fast. Rin was learning reading and how to be a lady of the court. Kagome had frowned at those lessons at first but then remember she was a pup to Sesshomaru, he would want her to know how to make alliances and keep the peace. Kagome had talked to Sango after her giving birth to start training again with her.

Kagome was now in her last week of pregnancy. She was getting more and more scared about the labor. She knew that Sesshomaru wasn't allowed in the room at all. Birthing of the pups would have him trying to kill anyone that helped her.

Instead, it would be the midwives and his adopted mother; Lady Ayashiko and Sango. It terrified her that Sesshomaru wasn't going to be there at all. She wanted him to be there with her. She knew she would be able to get him to not attack anyone.

Since she killed the two new Naraku creations, he had attacked the borders of the Southern Lands and the Northern Lands. The lords of the lands had come together and started to look for the whereabouts of Naraku's castle or hideout.

Kagome got up and walked around the sunroom as she smiled at Rin and Shippo who were playing together. Each of her adopted children had duties and studies to do. However, one day a week, they were able to just be kids and do what they like to do. One of the pups kicked her hard, Kagome winched in pain and gently rub her stomach.

"Just a bit longer. Little ones." Kagome whispered to them. Her mind went back to what had happened to her now. She never thought she would be mated to Sesshomaru and pupped by him at all. The fact was she has thought about getting him to remove his mark when she was at home in her time. That thought came and went fast. Her mental, emotional, and physical aspects herself have to be healed and when her body was healed, she was forced on getting her mental and emotional sides healed. It was a slow healing but now she can say she was healed in both of them.

She continued to rub her stomach. Her friends are training or meditating as in Miroku. She can see him sitting cross-legged in a prayer pose. She looked to Sango and Inuyasha training together with Sesshomaru at the side. She could tell that he was looking over both of their forms and she hoped that he would give nice but firm constructive thoughts about improving.

After sunbathing in the sunroom for hours, Kagome left the room and went to the library. She had designed a new layout and gotten people to help out with the new looks. She took a scroll from the section she wanted to read from and sat down on a comfy cushion. She read the scroll over once and once more to fully understand it. When she looked up to see the sun was setting and that was the moment when Kagome felt something wet running down her legs.

Kagome looked down to see a large wet spot forming at her feet and felt it for the first time, she wanted to panic but she breathed in and out. She slowly groaned in pain that had shot through her body. She closed her eyes and panted in pain. She opened them again and gently but slowly stood up. Kagome made her way out of the library and towards the birthing wing.

Kagome fell to the ground, as agonizing pain erupted from her birthing canal. She cried out in pain; she knew it would bring someone coming her way. Soon, her footsteps raced towards her, and she looked up to see a concerned guard stopping when he has seen her.

"Milady!" He yelled when he stood near her. Kagome tried to get the guards or servants to call her; Kagome but it was milady or Lady Kagome. She was still getting used to that title.

"Jin, the pups are coming," Kagome said breathlessly. Her breathing was hard and she soon grunted in pain again.

Jin's eyes widened at this and launch himself into action. Gently picking her up and racing towards the birthing wing, he called out for some help. Soon, five guards came to his aid. His orders were followed swiftly. One, get the female healers. Two, get the birthing wing ready. Three, get Lord Sesshomaru and friends. Four, get Kagome into the room before, his lord killed him.

Jin stopped in front of the wing and soon hear a loud growl coming from the training grounds. His lord was told his mate was in labor. The female healers hurried and took Lady Kagome from his arms and he raced out of sight.

He waited at the doors until he felt and then saw his lord racing towards the wing. He stepped in front of him to stop him.

"Milord, you are not allowed in the birth wing." He stated clearly and calmly. His lord stopped and looked at him. With the smallest of nods, he stepped back and begin to pace back and forth until he turned to look as his lady friends came tearing the walls. He too stopped the males from going into the room but did nothing when the demon-slayer female walked past him and into the wings behind him.

Kagome breathed in and out hard as pain laced through her body. She was now laying down with six midwives with Sango coming into her sight. Sango had washed her hands and stepped beside Kagome, taking her hand.

"Come on, Kagome, you can do it." Sango encouraged her best friend more like a sister to her. Her words came from her heart as she told Kagome everything as she helped her bring the little ones into the world.

Kagome moaned and groaned in pain as her contractions became worse. Soon her time came. She began to push with all her might, resting when told until they told her to push again.

Kagome didn't even notice that it was now going dark when she heard the first pups cry when the cool air hit its body. She pushed again as she felt a head and then a shoulder passing through her opening.

Within twenty minutes after the first pup, Kagome rested on the bed as she was then looked after for the bleeding in the placenta that was only caused by one of the pup's claws. Hours passed for Kagome she would hear Sango encouraging her to go on but her body and emotions were just tired. A contraction came hard as Kagome pushed downwards; she screamed one last time.

She collapsed against the bed and breathed so hard that her mind was swimming from the lack of air going into her lungs and brain. Her eyes closed and she rested then was tapped on the shoulder. Her eyes fluttered open to see Sango smiling down at her.

"You did well. Kagome. They are beautiful." She told Kagome. Kagome was helped up and cleaned and placed new clothes on. She glanced at the four holding four semi-calm pups.

"I had four babies." She stated. Her mind was becoming clearer and she wanted to hold them all.

"Hai, Malady. Three sons and one daughter." The youngest midwife said. Kagome teared up at this and held out her arms for her children.

Sesshomaru stood outside of the birthing wing and waited for news, any type of news. His heart had frozen in fear as he thought about losing his Kagome or any of his pups. His beast wasn't at ease either he paced back and forth in his mind. Snarling, growling at the thoughts that came to him. He wanted to be in that room with Kagome.

Minutes became hours and soon he was losing his patience as the door opened and out came a female midwife.

"Milord, Lady Kagome, and your young are fine and resting. Malady had no problems with the delivery at all. She will need to be careful and care for the next moon cycle. You may come in. The rooms have been cleared and cleaned. "She told him. She moved aside from him to step in and closed the door.

Sesshomaru speed paced towards Kagome's form once he had seen her. He stopped to see four pups beside her bedside. His heart stormed in his chest. Four pups! He smirked at her and strolled forward and gently took her hand in his and rubbed against it.

"Sesshomaru," Kagome sighed at the rubbing that he was giving her. Her body was still sore and slightly in pain but it was getting better.

"My mate…Kagome. I feel I should say thank you…."

Kagome laughed at this and shook her head. "This what was created that night. You and I made them. While I have forgiven you for it. I will not forget it.

Sesshomaru nodded his head at her. He gently took the first-born pup and scent its smell. A male pup. Sesshomaru was very pleased by this and looked at his mate.

"Takeshi," Sesshomaru said. He held his firstborn and licked his cheek physically marking him as his before he gave Takeshi to his mate that held onto him and kissed his brow. He took him back and rested him in his crib.

He picks up his second born and was thrilled again to scent it was a male. "Isamu." He then licked again and passed his pup to his mother's arms and watched as Kagome kissed his brow again.

The third born was a female and he gave her to her mother to be named.

Kagome knew it was the males that named any of the male pups while the females named the female pups. She took her daughter and smiled at her," Kana."

Sesshomaru gave a small smile and waited for his turn to hold his daughter. Once Kana was in his arms. He worried about his little girl… She and Rin would need guards around them, twenty-four-seven. He would let no males around them. He shook his head at this and kissed his daughter's forehead and placed her back into her crib. That was conducting, he wanted them to have guards… female guards would work. He would need to think about this more.

He picked up his last born and smiled again. It was a male. His mate gave him four pups, three sons, and a daughter for now. He wanted a large family.

"Aito." Sesshomaru looked at his mate and she nodded at the names. When he told her that, he was the male's naming their male pups. She looked sad when he asked her for her input about names. She told him the male names she liked and used Isamu and Aito for their sons. His mate was very happy. He placed Aito into his crib and helped Kagome get settled in.

Sesshomaru took off his shirt but left his pants on, he climbs into the bed and held Kagome to his body. Their family and friends could wait until morning.

A/N- I'm going to leave it here. Hopefully, this will only be four more chapters until it is completed. That is what is in my mind. The next couple of chapters might be longer than this chapter but that is okay with me. Until then, bye.
