A New Team

A/N- here is chapter eleven for you.

Chapter Eleven

Kotetsu yawned into his hand at the booth where his partner; Izumo. He was busy looking over the signatures of all the people that came in today. Kotetsu turned his head to see a cart coming towards them with six horses. The person driving it was wearing a hood. He tapped Izumo and pointed his head at the cart.

"I wondered who it is" Izumo questioned as he too looked over the driver. "Female…"

"Hai, I agree with you." He told his partner.

Sakura made her way to the gates of Konoha. She drove the cart and stopped at the desk.

"Kotetsu, Izumo. "She stated.

"Who are you? How do you know your names?" Kotetsu demanded.

"Of course, I would know our names. I'm the one that takes the scrolls from you. Is the hood that mind-bending that you don't know my voice?" She grunted out.

"Sa…"

"Shh, Izumo, please get into the cart. Kotetsu stays here." She ordered. Both men looked at each other and followed her orders, even thou she was much younger than them and had only been a Chunin for three days or so. Izumo jumped into the cart. Sakura nodded to Kotetsu and drove the cart into the village.

"What is going on? Why are you driving this cart?" He asked when he turned to the back to see… His eyes widen at this and turned back to her. Sakura kept her eyes on the road.

"Before, you ask. Yes, they are. Three clans within the clan escape that night and have been living out of Konoha. The adults are dead but the children as here. Izumo, I need to you get Lady Hokage and Shizune to the hospital." She told him.

"Hai." He stated when he disappeared. Sakura drove as fast as she can to the hospital and kept to the safety laws.

Her eyes darted back and forth from the people, under her hood. Sakura turned into the hospital's backway and stopped at the back door. She got out and unreleased her clones from the back. Her mind swirled with new knowledge and she felt a little dizzy from it. She took a breath in and out. She walked to the door and opened it up.

"Aika, Botan gather six more medic-nin now," Sakura ordered them as she took off her hood. The two medic-nin raced back down the wall. Sakura walked out and went to the back of the cart and smiled at the children.

"Sakura-san?" Sakura heard as she turned back to see Aika with four medic-nin behind her.

"No questions asked at all. Aika, clear a room near the back fast. With lots of bassets and small beds. Chie and the rest, gather the infants, you can carry perform the tests and write them down and give that paper to me. I have twenty-six children in the back and ten are not infants. I think the last out of them is a year old?" Sakura informed.

Aika raced back inside when Botan came out with five more medic-nin. Sakura retold them what their orders were and all got to it. Sakura had gathered the older children and helped them inside the room. Aika had swiftly got for her. The room itself was large and white with two windows on the right side and all the small beds and bassets inside. Where the infants were now in and sleeping.

"Sakura, what is going on? You interrupted a meeting with Danzo and the other two." Tsunade was annoyed by this. Sakura turned to see Tsunade and Shizune standing there.

"SHH," Sakura said. Sakura took out four long pieces of paper and wrote two different symbols. She could feel Tsunade staring at her and then the children. Her mind was connecting the bots when it did her eyes widened at this and turned to Shizune to see if she had connected the bots as well.

Sakura whispered so softly that she could even hear herself. The pieces glowed and they flew to the walls and attached as they worked the Jutsu. This was the first time, that Sakura was using this technique that she made early before the Chunin exams. One of many that, she still needed to show Kakashi. It was a shield-type paper Jutsu. It protected the area from eavesdroppers.

Tsunade and Shizune eyes were wide at this and watched on. The eyes went to the young children and then to the newborns.

Sakura took a breath in and out. She turned around to see her mentors in the medical field. "Tsunade, Shizune. This is what is left of the Uchiha clan." Sakura then launched into the story about Kakashi and herself coming up to an aftermath of a battle, however, the battle was still going on in the distance.

She stopped when she got to the labor scenes and the eyes taking. Sakura stopped to see both faces of Tsunade and Shizune was in horror. Even knowing about the coupe from Akasuki Uchiha and her semi-colon's decision about leaving Konoha before the massacre.

"Was that why Uchiha's clan was killed? And why did Itachi kill them?" Sakura questioned as her mind couldn't wrap the new knowledge about it. Did Sasuke know about this? Now that she thought about that question. She would say no that he didn't know.

"These changes everything. Sakura. This can't get out. Who knows?" Tsunade demanded.

"Kotetsu and Izumi had seen me but only Izumi had seen the children. The medical staff here and Kakashi-sensei. And I will demand that I want to adopt them. I told Akio…" She glanced at the boy who was now resting in his bed. "That I would be his new mother."

"What?!" Shizune cried out.

"Shizune, I found them and they trust me. Plus…I'm a ninja and their clan was mostly ninjas. And also, I know Kakashi. He can train them with their Sharingan, when and if they get them. And, my parents can help when they get back and you don't need to find anyone else that can be babbling about them to others." Sakura told them both.

"She is right on that. Shizune. Sakura would be the better candidate for them. She would also know what to do when…."

"Mai!" Sakura turned to see Aiko jumping up and in tears. Sakura got to him and took him into her arms. Sakura rocked Aiko back and forth to calm him down. His tears stopped but he had the sniffs.

"Aiko, who Mai?" Sakura asked. Aiko had calmed down enough and looked at her. His ebony eyes were red with tears and rubbing.

"My older sister?" His voice was in a whisper.

"Oh, honey. Where was she at the house?" Sakura feels sad and filled with worry that she could or must have missed a child.

Aiko shrugged his shoulders to say he didn't know. Sakura's heart stopped and hope that Kakashi was able to find the three boys and now the girl. She had placed Aiko back in his cot after he fell asleep in her arms.

She turned to see Tsunade and Shizune looking at her. Both had faces that held confusion. Sakura then remember the scroll. She took it out and placed it on the table. She looked at it without touching it at first.

"Kai." She whispered as she gathered her chakra before touching it. No genjutsu was on it. Once she had unraveled it, she saw eight different symbols. As they decided to separate the knowledge. Symbols for family, secrets, and others were shown in the circles.

Sakura placed her hand on the family symbol but stopped when she was seen at the bottom. "Great." She muttered. Tsunade and Shizune were at her side and looking over the scroll as well.

"It could be Uchiha blood to unlock it. "Shizune commented. She looked at Sakura and the too the children.

Sakura nodded her head but bit her thumb anyways, placing her thumb at the bottom it glowed and stopped.

"Sakura, where will you live? Your parent's house is small and it won't fit the children." Tsunade stated.

"I was thinking about the old Uchiha district. However, I would like it to be only Kakashi, Shizune, and you; Tsunade knowing the full truth about them." Sakura said. Tsunade smiled.

"So, you are going to adopt them. Are they going to be Haruno's?" Tsunade questioned.

Sakura shook her head." Uchiha-Haruno for when no one is around them. Haruno will be spoken out loud."

Tsunade's eyes widen at her words. Then looked at the young children. They have been through a lot. She needed to look into why Itachi Uchiha killed his family. With new information that she had gotten from Sakura.

"I will get the papers readied for you."

"Tsunade-sama!" Shizune gasped out loud. Tsunade looked at her first apprentice, it seemed like she was having problems with this.

"Shizune… we are new to the children and if we did pick out other people. We would need to disclose everything about that child or children. Then they also would gain or not gain the Sharingan. With Sakura, she knows that she will have help from us and her parents. When they come back, they will be brought to me and I will explain it to them. Shizune, calm yourself." Tsunade ordered her.

"I'm very sorry. Sakura, you will have all the help you need in me and Lady Tsunade. But we are only two people. I think you need more help." Shizune said. She was now looking calmer as she hugged the younger woman.

"Let's talk about that after we check out the Uchiha district. It might need some fixing up to do." Tsunade said. "Shizune, could you stay here and get to know the children? And get a file ready for them as well." Tsunade added on.

Sakura and Tsunade walked out of the room. They were stopped by some nurses that helped Sakura get the children into the room.

"Silence. You are to forget about those children. Got it." Tsunade ordered.

"Hai!" They said and walked away from them without any type of argument.

Sakura and Tsunade walked throughout the village, waving or smiling at the villagers. Greeting some of them and soon came across the old grounds of the Uchiha district. A white wall around the perimeter as Sakura looked at it. She knew this was the first to get rid of.

Sakura and Tsunade walked into the ghost-like town and saw the old kunai's ties on the ground. The weapons themselves were gone but the ties remained with old blood splatter. Sakura grimace at this scene. Tsunade looked at Sakura, it bothered her but since she was in the Second Great Shinobi War and saw the aftermath of the Third War as well.

She learned to conceal her thoughts in this scene. Tsunade and Sakura walked all around the property and came back to the main entrance.

"Cleaning is a must; new housing can be done as well. The wall needs to go." Sakura uttered to Tsunade.

"I agree, Sakura," Tsunade replied.

Sakura bit her lip at this and wondered what was going to happen now. "I think we going to need more help. I was thinking Shikamaru. I know him and more than his father and you trust him as well."

Tsunade made one clone and gave it orders.

Shikamaru and Asuma were looking over a shogi board, the clips were in place. Shikamaru had four other moves after his move now. Asuma sighed." I must be losing my mojo on this. This is the fourteen times you won."

"Shikamaru," They both turned to see Lady Tsunade at his home. His mother was beside her with amazing looks.

"Lady Tsunade, what do you need of us?" Asuma asked.

"I only need Shikamaru," Tsunade said. Shikamaru stood up and followed his lead towards the front of the house. Asuma followed and then placed on his shoes and disappeared. Shikamaru placed on his shoes and walked outside.

He followed Tsunade and he noticed a few things about this one. He knew that it wasn't his true leader but a clone of it. He wondered why she would need to get him with a clone and not one of her ANBU members.

"What does Tsunade need me for?" He asked. His black eyes looked around to see, they were going in the opposite direction from the Hokage tower.

He stopped at the front of the old Uchiha district. His mind was blank at the possibilities of where they were here but he followed the clone into the district.

Within minutes, he saw Lady Tsunade and Sakura looking at him as the clone disappeared.

"Shikamaru Nara… You need to swear that no one else with know what Sakura and myself will tell you." Tsunade broke the silence.

"Hai. Madam." His voice had a confused tone in it.

Sakura took over the rest by telling him about the mission and what she had found after hearing about the battle. His eyes widen at this and followed along with Sakura. His mind was racing around. Was that why Itachi Uchiha killed his family?

"What about Kakashi? And the other Uchiha's?" He questioned.

Sakura shook her head at him." He went after them but I'm not sure. When he will come back home? Shikamaru. I will be adopting all of them. I need your help with…" She pointed to the lands. "This. I want it to be protected."

Shikamaru nodded his head at Sakura on this. He breathed in and out and looked over at Sakura. He walked over to her side and placed one hand on her shoulder.

"I will help you. Protect the children, even thou this is troublesome." He sighed. Sakura laughed at him. She told him what she wanted to do and he looked at Tsunade.

"The children are at the hospital?" He asked.

"Hai," Sakura answered for Tsunade.

"Maybe I can be of help." A male voice stated. He appeared in sight.

"Tenzo…"
