Xander looked at the Teetanians and said. "You've bitten off more then you know, Teetanians." He scented his Pack's anger at these people and their readiness to fight. He lowered his head and felt his Bonded soul surge forward. He raised his head and his eyes snapped open. They were glowing green, as were the Pack's. In a growly reverb, he said. "Hear me, Teetanians. I, Alexander Harris-Chase, Alpha of the Sunnydale Protectors Pack, wolves that walk on two legs, do hereby issue Challenge to you and your Hunters. What is your answer?"
The Teetanians captain was delighted, he had chosen well! Truly someone worthy of Challenge. Worthy of testing themselves against. He could feel his Hunters excitement. This was what the Hunt was about!
"I accept Challenge!"
Xander issued an order to his Pack. "Kill all but the speaker. We make sure, there's someone to deliver the message." He drew his sword and leapt forward, howling. Followed by the Pack, howling as well and leaping after him. The howling was an eerie sound that sent primal chills down the spines of AG 1.
"What the Hell?" Sheppard asked, stunned.
"They're like the Goa'uld. Two in one!" McKay exclaimed. "No wonder the President had this Classified. They're aliens!"
"No, they're not." Jesse said. "They're children of the Altera. The Ancients. Which makes them more advanced then you are."
McKay glared at him and then said. "How are you going to get that force field down?"
"Well, I'm going to start by praying to my goddess." Jesse answered, before turning towards the force field. He held his hands out to his sides. Palms facing forward and bowed his head. "Mother, hear your son. I am far from your embrace. An enemy seeks to keep me from returning. Speak to your sister, entreat her on my behalf, to grant me the strength to overcome this enemy." He raised his hands and placed them against the force field. As AG 1 watched in amazement, visible waves of energy were moving up Jesse's legs and up his body. As they reached his hands, lightening danced over the force field, overwhelming it and shutting it down.
As Sheppard watched the Pack fight, he realized they'd been holding back every time he'd seen them fight in the past. Against the Wraith, the demons, the velociraptors. He was both awed and terrified by what he was seeing now. They tore thru the Teetanians like wood in a chipper. Cordelia had unscrewed her bladed staff and turned it into two short swords. She was a whirling dervish, slashing throats as she moved thru them. Tor's claws were tearing out other throats, Rhonda's metal tonfa pierced eyes and shattered the skulls behind them. Heidi's sais were going up thru the underside of jaws and did the same. Kyle's ax and Xander's sword sliced thru thick necks and removed heads. And then there was only one left. The captain.
Xander leaped for him and rode him down to the ground. In that growly reverb, he said. "You lose, again. We are the children of the Altera. If you ever trouble us again, you will find our teeth in your throat, do you understand me, Teetanian?"
Terrified, the captain managed to nod. The Altera! The only ones they had ever lost against. And now they had lost again. "We will leave and never trouble you again."
"McKay, make sure they have the galactic coordinates of the Milky Way and Andromeda Galaxies." Xander ordered, before standing up and letting his Bonded soul return to it's resting state.
They were covered in blood. But not a single drop of it was their own. Six people had utterly destroyed more then fifty. McKay erased all of the data on his tablet except the galactic coordinates of the Milky Way and Andromeda Galaxies and handed it to the terrified Teetanian captain. "He was right, you really did bite off more then you realized."
The captain accepted the tablet and returned to his ship, where he informed his crew that they had lost the Challenge. A stunned crew was ordered to send the message of defeat and the coordinates of the three galaxies they were now barred from. And then the captain gave his final order. He and his crew would never be accepted back among their people. This was their way. He ordered the destruction of their ship. The crew, knowing their fate, accepted it. The ship exploded.
"They killed themselves." Teyla gasped.
"Wow, they were hardcore." Sheppard said. "I hope we really have seen the last of them." As McKay moved to the dialling device and dialed Atlantis.
