Bakugo spent some time unpacking his stuff, in a happier and lighter mood than where he was even ten minutes ago. Aizawa Sensei must have found a way to get his ears fixed- why else would they bother Recovery Girl? He felt good, but slightly guilty and, well, gross- for crying in front of his teachers the other night. Strangely enough he felt the pressure to behave himself. This was not a common feeling, mind you.

Pretty soon, he saw the lights flicker and turned to see Mr. Aizawa. Ah! This must be the time to get his ears fixed! Katsuki walked out into the hallway, closing the door behind him and signed "all done" and a "question" sign, before walking further down to the elevators, where Mr. Yamada greeted them. He was wearing his hearing aids. This confused Bakugo, however, since he had been pretty sure that he was going to get his ears fixed and wouldn't need an interpreter. Plus Mr. Aizawa was good enough at ASL- something wasn't adding up here.

"You need to be nice." Aizawa said, as they walked up to the clinic. Mic interpreted.

"To who?" Katsuki asked.

"A little girl who lives here." Mic said, while signing "young. girl. who. lives. here."

They went to the clinic and there on the examination table, a young girl with silver hair, colored on the paper that covered the table. She touched her petite horn that stuck out just so from her hairline.

Bakugo walked up to the child, unamused. She waved and signed E-R-I and pointed to herself. Katsuki took an orange crayon and wrote his name out for her. She giggled and patted a single pat to his head much to his disdain.

"You don't have to do this." Shota told the girl.

"Yeah." Mic added. "Adoption's a done-deal and this boy's kinda ungrateful." He joked.

"Hizashi." Aizawa warned his husband.

Eri laughed and put her hands over Bakugo's ears. "Papa Mic, you're funny. Dadzawa, you'll stop me if it gets scary, right?"

Shota put his hand over his heart. "Of course."

"I know." Eri replied, exuding happiness and trust.

She closed her eyes and began to rewind Katsuki at the cellular level. As far as Bakugo was concerned- he felt very warm and kinda got a morning boner. She reset him to exactly an hour before he made the coffee- when he was just about to wake up three days or so ago.

"Can you hear me now?" Eri giggled.

Katsuki lifted his headband and pulled the gauze out. Everything was immediately too loud. He covered his ears and shushed the room as he gently took his hands back off. Present Mic and Eraserhead praised their soon-to-be-daughter and hugged her as she danced around, on the examination table. Bakugo at least had the sense to thank the little girl and Aizawa volunteered to walk Katsuki back.

"Why didn't we do that to begin with?" Bakugo asked, annoyed, yet grateful.

"It wasn't guaranteed." Shota responded. "And we weren't about to take chances until we had express parental permission."

"So you talked to my mom?" Katsuki assumed.

"Your father, actually." Aizawa replied.

"Mn." Katsuki gently hummed to express that he was thinking. "Well thank you. I'm going to my room."

Bakugo took off after a curt bow because Shota got a phone call. It was about Midoriya.

Shota sighed and wiped his face before it registered. "He did WHAT?!"

Kayama Nemuri, Hero name: Midnight, continued on. "Yes, he took a nap- had a dream? And scribbled what looks like gibberish about Quirk Theory all over his walls."

"Around the All Might memorabilia, no doubt." Aizawa muttered, hastening his pace to the ID scanner and swiping his badge.

"No, no. That's all been taken down." Midnight said. "Soooo… ONE: is it serious? And TWO: can you take this on while I do the paperwork?"

"That's fine, I'll handle the boy. Yes, he's losing it- as we all are it seems. Thank you, Kayama. I'll get it from here." The pro hero Eraserhead ended the call and pocketed his phone before taking the stairs up to Izuku's floor and stalking down the hall.

Sudden knocking scared Midoriya and he considered jumping out to his balcony and hiding.

"No one's here!" He shouted.

Aizawa used his key. The telltale beep sounded, and Shota pushed his way in. "Son of All Might—" He ironically cursed. "Okay- IZUKU MIDORIYA!"

"Ahh!" The teen screamed before sitting on his bed.

"WHAT is the meaning of this?!" Aizawa asked, exasperated.

"I am SO glad you asked!" Izuku said, scratching the back of his neck before he stretched it and slapped his knee to jump up. His desk had been pushed out of the way, barring half of his bed and all of his closet to show off a clear wall that formerly had All Might posters all across it. The boy began excitedly muttering and pointing from here to there and all in between whilst not making sense.

"STOP!" Shota shouted, grabbing the boy's shoulders. Midoriya twitched and wiggled after standing still for less than a moment. Aizawa continued. "What did you smoke?!"

"SMOKE?!" Izuku asked, offended and confused. "Nothing. Why?"

"You're acting psychotic." Aizawa said. "You've damaged school property. There will be paperwork. NOBODY likes paperwork." The instructor took a breath. "What did you DO?!"

Somewhere deep down in his body, Midoriya knew he was in trouble- but his brain told his mouth to spill the truth. "You know how I have nightmares?! Coffee. Lots and lots of COFFEE." Izuku admitted, nodding fervently.

"Oh my God you're overcaffeinated." Shota pieced. He thought. Had Midoriya ever drank coffee in his presence?" He'd better ask, and so ask he did. "How often do you drink coffee?"

Izuku thought. "UMmmmmmmmMMmMmm? Never."

Aizawa sat the boy on the bed's section that was NOT barred off by the desk and pointed at the wall. "THIS?! NOT OKAY!"

"Right! OK!" Midoriya clapped.

"NO. NOT okay." Shota repeated. He sighed. "So you didn't want to take a nap because you are afraid of the nightmares and so you drank coffee?" Aizawa asked. "Am I getting this right?"

Izuku nodded. "Mm!"

A heavy sigh escaped the teacher. "Tomorrow- you are washing this wall and repainting it. Come with me until then. You can sleep on the R&C couch. Bring some night briefs. You'll need to change."

At SOME point Aizawa would get to see his husband… but not now…
