The stars glow and beamed brightly into endless void of space that many humans fascinate over the exploration into the unknown, discovery of new worlds, and pushing further into the limits of scientific and technical boundaries of mankind.
"Warning! Oxygen Tank at 10%!"
An automated voice exclaimed into the Astronaut Suit, the male astronaut watched as the International Space Station and Earth drifted away. A severed cable line wrapped around his waist. There was nothing he could do but closed his eyes letting tears flow down his cheeks knowing there was nothing he could do because he couldn't radio the space station anymore and gave only static.
"Warning! Oxygen Tank at 1%!"
The male astronaut opened his eyes with tears still flowing down his cheek, looking at the beauty that is outer space one last time, "It really does take your breath away doesn't it?" He jokingly said to himself to help lighten the mood which it didn't. The alarms started to go off and he starts struggling to breath and flailing his entire body and slowly slips into unconsciousness.
A woman stands at the edge of her observatory, wearing a cyan gown gripping firmly her star wand; known by many as the Guardian of the Universe, the mother of Luma's and Princess who helped in defeating the evil Bowser with the aid of a red plumber known by many as Mario. She is staring into the Cosmo's and star's shining. She stare's at them after having a strange feeling overcame her and she doesn't know what it is.
"Rosie? Is everything okay?"
Rosalina turned to see a black luma with icy blue eyes floating and looking at her. She lets out a sigh and looks back at the stars,
"Yes, Polari? Do you feel this strange feeling as well?" She said wondering if this wasn't only her.
"Yes. Do you know what it's supposed to be?" He said.
"No. Do you?" She asked him.
"No." He simply answered.
Rosalina huffed softly, staring at the stars that twinkled in space except for one that seemed to be drifting aimlessly like a comet. Confused, she floats over to her Terrace to get her telescope and points it up to see the unknown object flying through space with Polari beside her while adjusting it to get a clear view of the object; It wasn't a comet nor was it a luma transforming into a galaxy pbut it's a human being, immediately she launches herself from the observatory making Polari spin from the sudden reaction and catches up to her,
"Rosalina! Why did you do that!" He exclaimed.
"I noticed what looked to be a shooting star turned out to be a human being. there was no sign of movement. I need to make sure they're alright!" She said and flies faster to catch up with the human with Polari in tow, she catches up and grabs ahold of the strange human with one of her hands onto their arm and stopped. She looks into the helmet visor but couldn't see their face being covered in fog from the cold temperatures of space; she closed her eyes to use her magic to get any feeling from him then looks over to Polari with a sigh of relief knowing that there's still a pulse but slowly fading,
"He's got a pulse but dropping due to lack of oxygen. We need to get him back to the observatory quickly." She said to Polari who gave a understanding nod as both of them sped back to the Observatory.
Once Rosalina and Polari returned home, she would wave her wand moves the rescued guest onto the floor, and looking over his body to check if there were any signs of other wounds and injuries that she didn't see but found nothing. After checking she immediately took the helmet off first and starts to take the latches and straps off the man's helmet. The man's appearance appeared to be youthful at a man starting at his early twenties, his long curly brown hair, and wore black rim glasses. His eyes puffy because of him crying, thinking he was going to die alone in space,
'Poor dear.'
she thought to herself, looking up she noticed the luma's surrounding them,
"Could one of you get me a wet towel with cold water and a blanket for our guest while I'm helping him, fast!"
the Luma's scattered around the observatory to get the items for their mama while she plugs his nose, pressed her lips against his, and started giving him chest compressions several times she started to see his eyes partially open and started to pat the wet towel onto his forehead to keep him cool and takes off his astronaut suit. He wore a light blue jumpsuit underneath it and sees his stomach rising and falling,
"he's breathing normal again."
she told Palari who is examining the males backpack and suit while Rosalina had a blanket brought by a luma wrapped around him, she bubbled him up and takes him to her bedroom to rest there but be monitored by her children if there were any problems. Rosalina and Polari looked over his suit in confusion, what was a human doing here? Was he from a different planet or galaxy. She examines the suit he wore noticing the patches and symbols on it. She looked at the American Flag in confusion,
"I've never seen a flag like this before?" She said
"Neither have I even the blue symbol is confusing to me too." He said, the symbol had stars in the background with a comet looping around the word,
"NASA? I've never heard of something like it before? But, it seems it enjoys space, stars, and comets like I do. We should ask him when he wakes up." She said to him and nods.
Pain. he stayed motionless in the dark void in his space suit. asteroids big and small hurt towards him and protect himself by using his jetpack and manuvering through them until some of the small asteroids hit his helmets visor causing small leaksges that were causing the pressure and oxygen in his suit to deplete rapidly, he cries with his tears floating in his helmet to then see a silhouette of a figure in the distance which made him sniffle reaching out to it,
"Mama...is that...you?" He said softly, but to his horror the silhouette disappeared when a large asteroid hurtled toward him.
"AH!" He exclaimed loudly in fright, darting his head around the room wondering where the heck is he and where even here was? Looking around he found himself feeling disoriented, anxious, and confused by where he even was in.
closing his eyes and taking small breaths to calm himself down. He started to look at the environment he was in. A big purple bed with purple drapes, the walls and ceiling decorated with stars and constellations decorated on it to which he admired the site of it. But, he remembered this room somehow it brought back deja vu to his childhood. He groans loudly trying to wrap his head around it and if he's in a weird version of heaven.
a loud high pitched squeal is heard and a bright glowing object headed straight toward him an covered his eyes,
"Oh my! You're awake!" The small voice replied to him.
The light dimmed down suddenly and he removes his hands to find a small yellow star like creature with small black oval eyes making him froze at the sight of it,
"Wait right here, I'm gonna go get mama!"
the floating star excitedly said and floats out of the room,
'It's official. I've died and went to heaven because I just saw a Luma with my own eyes...'
He thought to himself and tries to get himself out of bed but stopped,
"Mama! He's awake! Go see for yourself!" The luma exclaimed and floated back inside the room then he looked over to the door to see the one person he couldn't imagine ever seeing in his entire life. A tall, blonde woman with her right eye partially covered by her hair, wearing a silky cyan dress, and a silver crown with jewels which made him look away from her shyly but froze when she moved closely to him to examine,
"I'm glad to see our guest had awaken from his slumber, it seemed you were in need of my assistance and aid. Allow me to introduce myself, I am Rosalina, watcher over the cosmos, protector and mother of the lumas, and commander of the observatory. What is your name?"
She paused, waiting for his response to which he snickered softly which confused you but then he went to a small coughing fit and realized, "oh my goodness! I forgot about your voice. You've been unconscious for a few days and hadn't used your voice. Wait a moment and I'll bring you something to drink." His stomach growled and rumbled loudly which made his cheeks slightly flush in embarrassment, "An I'll bring you something to eat as well I guess. Rest yourself and recover because there's so many things I want to ask you." Rosalina smiled softly and leaves the room but stopped when a voice called out,
"My...name is...Issac...thanks for...saving...my..life." Issac said in a hoarse tone of voice and goes into a small coughing fit again and laid his head back down on the pillow. Rosalina looked over her shoulder with her blue eyes and her warming smile,
"It's very nice to meet you, Issac. I'll be right back with a hot bowl of soup and some tea." She said and left the room.
Hello readers old and new. I'm sorry for not uploading or writing anything until now. There was drama going on with my Fanfic A Whole New Warner. It unmotivated me to write anything and put a lot of stories on hold fearing that there'll be false drama surfacing around me. I got inspired by a story called 'Among the Stars' that I highly recommend reading. Anyway, let me know what you think about Chapter 1 and I'll work on Chapter 2. Love you all and be good people
