Chapter 1.

I have had this story in my head for some time now, and initially, I didn't want to update the first chapter until I had written a few more chapters. However, I have since changed my mind and decided to update the first chapter so that I can get feedback on it. I would like to know what you all think about it and whether I should continue writing or stop. As for my other story, it is not abandoned. I am just facing a small problem in writing the next chapter, but I will try my best to write it for "A New Beginning." I appreciate your patience and understanding as I go through this writing process. Your feedback is extremely valuable to me as it helps me determine whether I should keep working on this story or explore other ideas. Please know that I am fully dedicated to bringing you a captivating and engaging storyline. So, please stay tuned for the next chapter of this exciting journey. Thank you for your continuous support and enthusiasm.

Hermione prepared breakfast for her family. She cooked eggs in the pan to make an omelet with bacon and cheddar for the kids while, for herself and her husband, she boiled eggs and made toast. She also set out juice, milk, tea, and coffee. She could feel her stomach growling; it smelled heavenly in the kitchen. Hermione couldn't wait to dig into the delicious breakfast she had prepared.

As she plated the omelet and served the toast, her children's eyes lit up with excitement. They eagerly devoured their breakfast, savoring every bite. Hermione smiled, knowing that she had succeeded in starting their day off with a satisfying meal.

Draco walked into the kitchen and said good morning to his family and heard a chorus of "good morning" from the kids. Draco walked over to Hermione and kissed her good morning, then started to eat his breakfast as well.

Draco smiled at his daughter when she was talking about her excitement to finally start school. She is very similar to Hermione but without her brown hair and brown eyes. They share the same gray eyes and platinum blond hair, but with Hermione's curls in it. Hermione and the kids are the best thing that has ever happened to him.

They got married soon after they graduated from Hogwarts. Potter and the Weasleys got very angry with her for dating Draco. They said he would dump her as soon as they weren't in school anymore, so she hasn't had any contact with them since school. So they had their first children, two sons, a year after they got married. Their names are Scorpius, who is now twelve, and Leo, who are twins. The Malfoys never had any twins in the family tree before they came into the world.

Their third child is a daughter whose name is Lyra, who will be ten in two weeks' time. And their fourth child is also a boy, named Orion, who is seven. Hermione is also pregnant again, but they don't know if it's a girl or a boy yet. They found out last week. They always wanted a large family. All the kids have the same platinum blond hair with Hermione's curls, but it's only Orion who has his mother's eyes.

As they sat around the breakfast table, Draco couldn't help but feel grateful for the love and happiness that filled their home. He knew that Hermione's decision to be with him had been met with opposition, but seeing their beautiful children and the life they had built together, he couldn't imagine it any other way. The sound of their laughter echoed through the house, a reminder of the joy that came with being a family.

As Draco and Hermione cleared the table from their breakfast, and the kids ran into the living room to play, there was a pecking on the kitchen windows. The brunette witch looked over towards the window and sighed before walking over to it and letting the owl in. She took the letter from its leg and gave it a treat.

She opened the letter that was addressed to both her and Draco. She heard her husband ask, "What is it?" She looked over to him and answered, "It's a letter from Hogwarts, but I'm not sure why yet!" Draco nodded and gestured to the letter for her to read out loud.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy!

I am pleased to inform you that we have decided to have a reunion ball at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, as it has been 20 years now. It will take place in the Great Hall on June 5th, 2018. You are, of course, welcome to invite your family. We have arranged for a magical evening filled with enchanting music, delectable food, and unforgettable memories. The event will also include a Quidditch match, where alumni can showcase their skills and relive their glory days at Hogwarts. We hope to see you and your family there, as it promises to be a night of celebration and nostalgia.

Sincerely,

Minerva McGonagall.

Hermione looked over at her husband after she had finished reading it and said, "So what do you think, Darling?" Her husband looked at her with furrowed brows as he was deep in thought.

It took Draco a moment before gathering his thoughts and saying, "I'm not completely sure if I want to go to Hogwarts, after everything that happened during the war. Also, how do you feel about seeing Potter and Weasley? We haven't been in Diagon Alley since we bought the twins their wands." Still with his brows furrowed.

"I'm not completely sure how I'm feeling seeing them again; it's been so long. I don't even go to Diagon Alley without using polyjuice potion so nobody recognizes me. The same goes for you," Hermione said with a sigh once more.

Draco strolled over to her, kissed her on the lips, and murmured, "Let's talk to the kids and see what they think. Maybe it will help us decide whether to go or not. Does that sound good, love?"

The brunette witch nodded, and hand in hand, they strolled out of the kitchen into the living room. Seeing their kids play exploding snap, Draco and his wife sat down next to each other.

"Kids, can you please stop playing for a few seconds? We've got a few things to discuss with you," Draco said, and the kids stopped playing and turned their attention towards their parents.

With a grin on her face and her eyes sparkling, Lyra inquired, "Mom and Dad, what's going on?"

Draco and Hermione exchanged a glance at each other, and then Hermione answered her daughter, "First of all, last week we found out that I'm pregnant again and you'll be getting a new sibling. Secondly, both your dad and I received a letter from Hogwarts. It's a reunion for those who graduated in 1999. However, we wanted to hear your opinion before we decided anything. So, what do you think, my loves?"

"One more sibling, I can't wait to meet him," Scorpius said with excitement. Orian added, "I hope it will be a girl so Lyra has a girl to play with instead of just us boys."

Lyra hopped off her seat and bounded over to her parents, hugging them tightly. She exclaimed, "I hope Orian is right and we get a baby sister. I love you boys, but sometimes it's boring to only play with you. I miss doing girl stuff." Her parents chuckled and exchanged a knowing look.

They understood Lyra's desire for a sister, someone she could share secrets with and have tea parties with. They reassured her, promising that no matter the gender, the new baby would bring joy and love to their family. Lyra nodded, her eyes filled with anticipation. She couldn't wait to have a little playmate, someone to dress up with and have dance parties in their room. The thought of having another daughter filled Hermione's heart with warmth and excitement.

Leo sat there in silence and hadn't said anything since the mention of pregnancy. He was excited about it. But the other thing they said about Hogwarts, of course, he had heard stories about Hogwarts just like his siblings had. But a reunion was never heard of. Leo is a little quieter than his siblings and didn't say much. Mostly, he read books, just like his mom.

And then Leo said, "I'm excited for the new sibling, but I'm more curious about your Hogwarts reunion?"

Hermione smiled and replied, "Oh, Leo, you won't believe the magic that awaits at Hogwarts. The reunion is a chance for all the alumni to come together and celebrate our time at the school. We'll get to see old friends, participate in exciting activities, and relive our favorite memories. It's a truly enchanting experience."

Leo's eyes sparkled with anticipation as he imagined the wonders of Hogwarts and couldn't wait to go. Leo and Scorpius are going to Hogwarts after the summer to start their first year of school.

They all talked for a while longer and decided to attend the reunion. Hermione got up and strolled into the library. She picked a book from the shelf and got comfortable on the sofa. Settling in, she began to read one of her favorite books, the lord of the ring. The familiar words transported her to a world of magic and adventure. As she turned the pages, she became completely engrossed in the epic tale of Frodo and the One Ring. The library provided the perfect sanctuary for Hermione, away from the noise and distractions of the outside world. Lost in the story, she lost track of time, completely absorbed in the enchanting words on the pages.

Draco strolled into the library, knowing his wife would be there. Draco sat next to her and asked, "What's for dinner tonight?" His wife looked up from her book and answered, "I don't know, maybe takeout. I'm craving it a lot, especially Chinese food." She smiled sweetly at her husband before kissing him on the lips and then, after pulling away, said, "I love you, my dear husband."

Draco's heart swelled with love as he gazed into her eyes. He whispered softly, "I love you too, my darling wife. Let's order some delicious Chinese takeout and enjoy a cozy dinner together with the kids, maybe watch a movie while we're eating?" His wife nodded and put away her book on the shelf again and then took her handsome man hand and walked to ask the kid what they like to have to eat.

They found their children in the play area, engrossed in a game. His wife knelt down and asked, "Hey, munchkins! What do you feel like having for dinner tonight?" The kids jumped with excitement and chorused, "Pizza!" Draco and his wife exchanged amused glances, realizing their little ones' love for pizza. His wife smiled and said, "Alright, how about we order some pizza along with the Chinese takeout? It'll be a fun feast!" The kids cheered and Draco couldn't help but feel grateful for his loving family.

After eating, they cleaned up everything and then played a few games and watched movies together as a family. They laughed and bonded over their favorite board games, enjoying each other's company. The competitive spirit filled the room as they strategized and made clever moves, creating a lively atmosphere. After the games, they settled down to watch movies, snuggled up on the couch with popcorn and blankets. The laughter continued as they shared jokes and reactions to the film, making cherished memories together.

Soon it was time for the kids to go to bed. "My sweethearts, it's time for bed. Please brush your teeth and get into your pajamas," Hermione said to them. The children eagerly complied, knowing that a good night's sleep would prepare them for another day of fun. They quickly finished their bedtime routine and crawled into their cozy beds, ready for dreams to transport them to new adventures. Hermione tucked them in, giving each of them a goodnight kiss and whispering words of love and encouragement. Draco also walked in and said goodnight, kissing them on the forehead.

After bidding their children goodnight, Hermione and Draco retreated to their living room to watch a movie, snuggled up. Draco had his arm around Hermione, and she had her head on her husband's shoulder. The soft glow of the television illuminated their faces, casting a warm and cozy ambiance in the room. They laughed at the funny scenes and whispered comments to each other, savoring these precious moments of relaxation together. They also kissed and said "I love you" to each other.

As the movie reached its climax, Hermione leaned in closer to Draco, feeling the warmth of his embrace. They were completely absorbed in the storyline, their hearts beating in sync with the characters' emotions. Time seemed to stand still as they lost themselves in the magic of the movie. Their connection deepened with every shared glance and touch. The outside world faded away, leaving only the two of them wrapped in their love.

As soon as the movie was over, they turned the TV off and got ready for bed. They brushed their teeth and put on their nightgowns, then slipped into bed and snuggled until they fell asleep in each other's embrace.

Harry Potter was in the living room with his three children, playing with them, meanwhile his wife Ginny Potter was in the kitchen fixing breakfast for them all. The children were laughing and squealing with delight as their father tickled them. Harry's heart swelled with happiness as he watched his little ones giggle uncontrollably. He couldn't help but feel grateful for the loving family he had. Ginny, always the nurturing one, made sure to prepare a healthy and delicious meal for everyone. The aroma of pancakes and bacon filled the air, enticing the children to leave their playtime and gather around the dining table.

To grab their plates and start eating. The smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, making everyone's mouth water. Ginny had prepared a delicious spread, with fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, and a variety of fruits. As they dug into their breakfast, they couldn't help but appreciate Ginny's culinary skills. The morning started off on a delightful note, with laughter and chatter filling the kitchen. The conversation flowed effortlessly, as they discussed their plans for the day ahead. The warm and cozy atmosphere enveloped them, creating a sense of comfort and togetherness. With each bite, the flavors danced on their taste buds, leaving them craving for more. Ginny beamed with pride.

After they finished eating, Harry flicked his wand and all the dishes cleaned themselves.

As Harry was on his way out of the kitchen, he heard a tapping on the window. He saw that it was an owl, so he walked over, opened the window, and let the owl in. He gave the owl a treat and then took the letter from its leg, starting to read. After finishing reading the letter, Harry let out a deep sigh and rubbed the bridge of his nose.

Harry walked into the living room and showed Ginny the letter. She began to read it. It was a reunion that he wasn't very keen on attending, but if Ginny wants to go, he will go as well. As Ginny read the letter, her excitement grew. She couldn't believe that their old friends were organizing a reunion after all these years. Harry looked at her, noticing the sparkle in her eyes. Despite his initial reluctance, seeing her enthusiasm made him reconsider his decision. Maybe attending the reunion wouldn't be so bad after all. They both started discussing the details and making plans for the event. Although Harry still had some reservations, he couldn't deny that spending time with their old friends could bring back cherished memories and create new ones.

After a while, Ginny asked, "Do you think Granger will be there as well?" They never said her first name anymore after she started dating 'ferret face Malfoy.'

"I don't know, I'm sure she isn't together with the ferret anymore. I think he dumped her after school was done, and he married a Pureblood instead of a Muggleborn." Harry answered Ginny's inquiry.

Ginny nodded and said, "You're probably right, Harry. So today we're going to the Burrow, my mom misses the children."

Harry nodded and got up to get the kids ready for the day. James could get himself ready because he is turning eleven soon, but Albus and Lily need more help. After helping Albus and Lily get dressed, Harry gathered everyone's belongings and made sure they were all set for the day. Once everything was in order, they all headed out to the Burrow, excited for a day of family fun and catching up with Ginny's mom and dad. Maybe her siblings as well.

As they arrived, Molly Weasley and Arthur Weasley greeted them with hugs.

"I've made cookies with chocolate chips in them. George and his wife and kids, and Ron and his wife and kids, will be here soon. I'm not sure yet if the others will also come," Molly said.

One by one came through the fireplace, first came George and his wife Angelina Weasley with their children Fred Weasley II and Roxanne Weasley and next came Bill Weasley and his wife Fleur Weasley and their children Victoire, Dominique and Louis Weasley. And then Ron and his wife Lucy Weasley with their kids Rose and Hugo Weasley, The house was filled with laughter and chatter as the family reunion began. Molly's eyes twinkled with joy as she watched her children and grandchildren gather around. The aroma of freshly baked cookies filled the air, adding to the warm and cozy atmosphere. There was a sense of love and togetherness that enveloped the room, reminding them all of the importance of family.

When the kids ran out to the backdoor to the garden, Ginny said, "Harry and I received a Hogwarts letter about a reunion. Did you receive one too?" she asked Ron directly.

Ron looked at her with a puzzled expression on his face. "No, I didn't receive any letter," he replied. "But that's strange, why would they invite you and Harry to a reunion and not me?" Ron pondered aloud.

Ginny shrugged her shoulders and said, "I have no idea, but maybe it's because you and Lucy have been busy with your Auror and haven't checked the mail yet?"

"Yeah, you're probably right, Gin," Ron said. He then added, "Maybe I'll floo home and look just to be sure." The others nodded in agreement as Ron stood from his seat and strolled over to the fireplace to floo home again.

As they waited for Ron to return, they discussed the reunion and what they should anticipate. When they heard the sound of the floo, Ron emerged from it holding an envelope. He handed it to his wife Lucy so she could read it aloud. Inside was a letter written in Professor McGonagall's handwriting.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Weasley,

I am delighted to inform you that we have decided to host a reunion ball at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, marking the 20-year milestone. The event will be held in the Great Hall on June 5th, 2018. You are warmly invited to bring your family along. We have planned a magical evening filled with enchanting music, delectable food, and unforgettable memories. The festivities will also feature a Quidditch match, providing alumni with the opportunity to showcase their skills and relive their glory days at Hogwarts. We sincerely hope to see you and your family there, as it promises to be a night of celebration and nostalgia.

Sincerely,

Minerva McGonagall.

"It's the same in our letter, so you haven't looked at the mail?" Harry said.

Ron looked a little sheepishly at Harry before answering, "Nope, but it was on the table with the rest of the mail."

Harry and the rest of the Weasleys rolled their eyes and laughed at Ron. "Same old Ron," George told his brother, while his brother Bill said, "A few things never change."

"Well, at least we know who the forgetful one is in the group," Ginny added. "I guess we'll just have to read your mail for you from now on, Ron." Bill joked, "Don't worry, Ron, we'll make sure you never miss any important letters again." Molly chimed in.

"And if you do, we'll make sure to give you a hard time about it," George added mischievously. Ron sighed and shook his head, knowing that his family would never let him live this down. But deep down, he was grateful for their constant support and love. Even if they did tease him mercilessly, he wouldn't have it any other way.

As they talked for a few more hours and the kids were having fun outside, soon it got dark and it was time to head home and put the kids to bed. They gathered their belongings and said their goodbyes, promising to meet again soon. Walking hand in hand, they made their way back to their cozy little house, the children's laughter echoing in their ears. Once inside, they tucked the kids into their warm beds, reading Albus and Lily a bedtime story and kissing them goodnight. The children's eyes grew heavy as the story unfolded, and soon they drifted off into a peaceful sleep. With the kids soundly asleep, the couple retreated to their bedroom, ready for some much-needed rest after a long day. They climbed into bed, their bodies intertwined, finding comfort in each other's presence. The moonlight filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow on their faces as they whispered sweet nothings to one another. The day had been filled with laughter and love, and as they closed their eyes, they couldn't help but feel grateful for the beautiful family they had created.
