The final instalment of my first Dwangelа story.

You know, I read in one review that the Dwight-Angela-Esther love triangle is actually a Dwight-Angela-Angela pride triangle. I think something similar can be said about all of their triangles (and most of their relationships on the show).

Let's see how it ends!

The punch card

Epilogue

This Monday, the accounting department head arrived at 9:00 exactly, unlike her habit of being early. She greeted the colleagues dryly and looked around her desk. There were no new envelopes or cards on it. She glanced from under her brow at Dwight, but the salesman was absorbed in the worksheets.
"Time for the rest of the day, get busy!" - She spurred herself on and opened the folder. To distract herself, she worked hard and focused. It wasn't difficult: Michael had left for a meeting, new prices had come in from Sabr, and Kevin had made a mess of the forms - she had to fix them. And telling off a coworker ( Angela was even a little grateful to Kevin - it gave her a legitimate way to relieve stress.).
When the hunger became unbearable, she went to the rest room. Dwight was just processing a client on the phone. She felt a sigh of relief - he was busy and wouldn't follow her. Standing at the vending machine, she heard footsteps.

- Hi, Angela.
- Did you bring the card?- she asked, with her back to the conversationalist.
- No.
- But why? - she gasped.
- I...destroyed it.
- WHAT? - the lady whirled around.
- We don't need a card" Dwight spread his hands in the air. "And I don't want to play games. Let's just be together and that's it! I miss you".
"D!" she whispered, "Why didn't you tell me before?"
- You said yourself that expect an answer by Monday. I respect your requests.

Instead of words, Angela just walked up to him and hugged his under body, hiding the head on his chest. Schrute squeezed her back. They stood there, enjoying the journey they had made.. In that moment, everything felt so right!
- So what about the baby? - he whispered.
- Oh, believe me, now we have time to conceive him, like all normal couples. Create conditions , and all that.
- It is. You're right.

Oscar came into the room.
- Well, wow, Angela! the accountant grinned. "I hope you're not going to use my desk for your pleasures again?"
- None of your business! - Schrute snapped. "Let's go," he nodded to Angela and gallantly held the door for her, going into the kitchen area.
- But where? I don't want to go to the warehouse now...
- No no no! You were talking about openness. According to the rules of this company, we have to apply to Toby!
Angela looked at the co-workers through the door window.. Stanley, Meredith, Phyllis, Pam... Not that she would want to make them the judges of their relationship. But they had seen her at the worst of times, when she openly cheated on fiance, and everyone knew about it. Is their possible disapproval really worth everything she and Dwight have? She glanced at the farmer, who was looking at her doggedly and questioningly.
- Okay.

***
They came out of the HP annex with dignity, as if they had just got engaged in an 18th-century church. Nodded to each other, and went to their places. It was really right, but Dwight felt unfinished.
At 4 PM, a courier appeared at Erin's counter: "Package for Miss Martin!". Angela didn't like using a work address for personal parcels, but she was waiting for a medecine for one of the cats. And it was easiest to find her at work. Lifting her chin, she moved towards the guy in overalls. Signing, she heard Dwight's playful voice from his seat:
- A gift from a secret admirer?
- No! - she said strictly.

Dwight thought it was a great moment. He confidently approached and took Angela's hand: "Oh, I'm sorry! I hope everything will be fine with him!"
- Thanks, me too" she whispered and cautiously looked around the space.
- So Oscar was right!? Are you guys together again!?" Kevin exclaimed cheerfully.
Schrute smugly said: "The pure truth!".
Angela looked at her colleagues. Pam gasped: "Oh my God!". Jim raised his eyebrows comically, Stanley even hasn't taken his head off the screen, the accountants beamed. Even Phyllis and Andy looked good-natured.

Angela exhaled. No one called her a whore, laughed, or shamed her. She smiled in a relaxed way:
- Well, I think it's time for us all to get back to work!
She gave the seller one last happy look and headed for the accounting department. There was a restrained feline half-smile on her face.

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed this fanfiction as much as I did.
