Hey everyone, last time had Luffy and friends end the Kuro's ex pirate group as well as make it to the Baratie. With Reiju and The Kuja pirates meet up with Luffy and crew, the women are together. **Notes Hancock is 23 in this story, Luffy is 17 as in canon.** If you wish to read ahead the next two chapters of this and other stories, decide what I write next, or just support me, then consider joining my pat reon. "Well, this is awkward..." Bonney said as Boa was already hopping on Luffy and Reiju stepped off of the boat.
"Luffy!" Boa yelled as she layed on him rubbing her face on his chest. "I missed you so much."
"Hanna..." Luffy gasped out as her grip on his chest was close to break his ribs if he didn't use haki.
'She called me a nickname!' She thought as she proceeded to faint.
"Luffy..." Reiju said as she helped him up before kissing him. "Missed you."
"Missed you too." He said as he noticed Sanji slowly trying to escape from sight. "Hey, Sanji come meet Reiju and Hancock. They will be joining us."
"Oh, we know each other. Don't we little brother." Reiju said giving him a look freezing him up.
"Hey..." Sanji said looking terrified.
"Don't worry so much Sanji. Dad has no power over me or you anymore." Reiju said as she turned to Luffy. "He is the reason."
"Come on, I didn't do much..." Luffy tried to state as it was not that big deal.
"Yeah sure. It wasn't it." Bonney said. "You only toppled her father's experiments. Destroyed her brothers to the point they are afraid of you and rescued her from her father's influence."
"Oh, dont forget punching my father in the face so hard because he held me by my throat." Reiju said as she played with her necklace that had a small gold ring with a pink ruby attached in the middle. "So, what is the reason Luffy called us here? It isn't like he couldn't handled anything in this sea."
"Well, I know he called you here because he finally got approval to have you with us." Bonney said she hugged Reiju. "As for Boa, he had her brought you and our guest over to deal with Nami's problem."
"What issues that needs him?" Reiju asked as she watched Boa still flirting and sitting on Luffy's lap.
"Arlong." Nami said as she seemed to crawl into herself.
"Ah, makes more sense now." Reiju stated as she pulled Nami into a hug. "Relax, Luffy is already taking care of it."
"Wait, what do you mean?" Nami questioned as she looked up to Reiju.
"Now, that would be telling." Boa stated as she came over after "filling her Luffy battery" as she put it. "Us women need to have a chat."
Nami saw the predatory look on Boa's face caused a shiver down her spine as she was ragdoll pulled towards the Perfume Yuda. As they got towards the captain's quarters, Nami saw the members of the Kuja pirates setting up as if they were getting ready to leave. "What's going on?" Nami questioned as she saw them all gathering supplies and getting the sails ready. "You all just got here, now you are leaving?"
"Oh, they are leaving in the next couple of hours. We have been away from Amazon Lily for too long." Boa stated as she continued towards the captains quarters. "My sisters will be taking our crew back."
"Oh, so you finally convinced Luffy then." Bonney said as she saw the shy smile on Boa's face.
"Wait, you are going to join us?!" Nami asked as they finally entered the quarters.
"Yep, and now. Spill it." Boa said in her queen-like commanding tone.
"Spill what?" Nami denied what she was feeling.
"Oh please. You are not the first to fall for my Luffy's charm." Boa stated as she looked at the other girl. "I need to know if you are committed."
"I... don't know..." Nami sighed out. "I have too much going on to be able to."
Nami looked down as she was ashamed as she saw the women that were committed to the relationship that wanted but was afraid to be. Suddenly she felt herself being hugged by all the women. It was the catalyst of her frustrations, anger, sadness, and fear to come out as she started to cry. "Shhhh, it will all be ok." Boa stated as she knew the madness of being helpless felt.
"How can it be?!" Nami cried out angered that the woman would even suggest it. "You have no idea how it feels to be a slave. No idea how it feels to be treated as a lesser person!"
That seemed to be the wrong words as Nami saw Boa become silent and a shadow of her happy self. "I know more than anyone. I know worse than you could ever know." Boa said as she removed her jacket revealing her scarred back but a tattoo that seemed to expand her entire back. It showed a woman and a man in iron boots kissing. "This is the symbol of my loyalty to Luffy. He gave me this tattoo to cover the slave symbol I had in the center of my back."
"You... were a slave?" Nami asked as she was shocked at the news that few knew.
"Outside this room, only Luffy and Law know about it as Law was did my tattoo. as well as my sisters." Boa stated as she shuddered thinking about the symbol now hidden beneath. "My sisters and I were sold as little girls to the Celestial dragons."
"How did you escape?" Nami asked as she remembered that their was a rebellion about 15 years ago.
"That is the story of how Luffy and I met..." Boa started as she began her story.
Flashback
Luffy and Garp walked up the winding path towards Mary Geoise as they had got sent to as security detail for Donquixote Mjosgard as the man seemed to fear even his own shadow. The sun had just begun to set as they arrived at the gate. "Listen Luffy, I will say this once. Do not do anything reckless. These people are the worst scum of the world but they are the men and women who see to it that people are safe." Garp explained as he walked towards the Donquixote house.
"Got it," Luffy said as he was barely keeping his anger in check as he saw people in collars being beaten.
Garp grumbled something that Luffy could not here as he saw a couple of teen girls a few years older than him being pushed towards the same house. Luffy saw the women naked as they seemed to be treated as objects. "Come on." Garp called out as he saw Luffy's anger and Haki leaking out.
Garp entered the mansion as the guards went to let the man know they were there. "Good, I wanted an admiral here, but I am sure a vice admiral is good enough." Mjosgard stated as he descended the stairs. "Your job is to ensure that I am safe. There has been a breakout from my objects. I am going to be making a couple of them an example to ensure that none of them ever attempt it again."
"Wait, what do you mean?!" Luffy called out as he saw the man wasn't walking but being carried by a couple of men.
"I plan on executing a couple of slaves for the rest to understand that failure to stop the someone from escaping is also punishable by death." Mjosgard stated as he had a mad glee on his face.
Luffy's emotions roared as Garp grabbed him to prevent him from attacking the man in front of him. "Corporal Luffy, head out to the ground. I will be with our official." Garp stated as he pushed the boy towards the door.
"Damn it!" Luffy said as he walked out on the grounds. "You knew how I feel about these people. Why did you bring me."
Luffy continued to grumble about how much he wished to do something as he came across the 3 teens he saw being pushed being moved towards what seemed like an execution platform. "What is going on here?" Luffy called out towards the guard as he saw the one of the girls fall as he saw the guard crack the whip against their back.
"These slaves are being too slow." The guard said as the sun finally set causing the lights to reveal the women.
"And, instead of waiting the extra second you decide that causing them to fall which would make it longer is appropriate." Luffy stated as he watched the man. "How about this, I will handle them. You go to your next assignment."
The girls watched as an ominious presence seemed to settle over the group as the marine and guard stared each other down. Eventually the man gave up. "FIne, I have better things to do anyways." The guard said walking off.
"Thank god that is over." Luffy said as he looked at the girls. "Everything is ok now."
He reach out his hand but that seemed to make the girls to cower more as if he was worse than the man they just left. "Hmm, not the trusting type." Luffy muttered as he saw the explosive collars around the girls necks.
In a blur of speed, Luffy successfully removed the collars off the girls. "There," He stated as he tossed the collars to the ground as they exploded.
"WAIT!" one of the teens called out. "The explosion will call the guards!"
"Not if they didn't here it." Luffy said as he looked at the girls. "Sorry, I can't help more. I have a friend who is stationed at the docks near the bottom of the Redline. Tell him I sent you and I said to hide you. Go quickly before someone notices." With that he walked towards the bars and bent them enough for the 3 girls to escape.
"Thank you. The Boa sisters will not forget this kindness." The oldest said as she helped her youngest sister up and through. "But, I can't let anyone see us. Mero Mero Beam."
The Boa sisters watched as Luffy looked at Hancock. They knew that the man would be turned to stone as no matter the age, men are always after their sister's beauty. The beam connected and then nothing happened. "WAIT WHAT?!" The three called out.
"What, was that suppose to do something?" Luffy called out he was confused.
"You are suppose to be STONE!" Hancock called out looking at him. "There is no way you are doing this to be NICE!"
"Of course I am. Why wouldn't I?" Luffy asked as he looked at the 3 sisters.
"Sister, he may be the only person in the world who is honest." Merigold stated as was the last through.
"Be safe. Remember find my friend. His name is Law." Luffy called out as he started to pull the bars back in place.
As he bent them back in place, the oldest called out, "Wait, what is you name?"
"Monkey D. Luffy. The man who will see the entire world." Luffy called back as he turned to walk away.
"Monkey D. Luffy..." Hancock muttered as she watched the man walk away.
The girls quickly ran away towards the docks in search of their freedom, as Luffy turned towards the bushes nearby. "You have your chance now. Do not waste it." Luffy called out towards the fishman that was hiding there. "I would not want you to be captured again."
"I won't." The man hiding came out as he held the key made to remove the collars.
"Good, I think I will do a quick walk before returning to the ship." Luffy stated as he pulled his snail to call Law.
3 hours later
Luffy was back on the docks turning to his grandfather's ship when he heard an explosion. 'Good, he started.' Luffy thought as he turned to his and Law's meeting point. "Law are you here?"
"God dammit!" He heard Law call out from the warehouse they planned to meet up at.
"What is going on?!" Luffy called out as he saw the girls from earlier starting to run as they heard the explosion.
"LUFFY!" The girls called out looking at the younger boy.
"So the plan was a success?" Law asked as he saw his friend walk in.
"Yep, Fisher is currently attacking the mansions." Luffy said as he looked at the girls. "We need to help them."
"You are too involved in this." Law stated as he knew his friend had helped plan the attack.
"I couldn't sit by and do nothing." Luffy called back as he had already silenced the area. "Besides, I could barely stand being near those arrogant pricks."
"We need to cover there brands." Law said as he had already given the girls clothes to cover themselves with.
"What do you have in mind?" Luffy asked.
"Tattoos, easiest way to do it." Law stated as he had his own pirate brand removed by a tattoo.
"Fair, do you object?" Luffy asked the girls as they stared at the men.
"Will we truly be free?" Sandersonia asked looking at the 2 teens.
"I guarantee it." Luffy said with a huge smile on his face.
"We need to hurry." Law said as he got out his tools.
"Do you have any opinions?" Luffy asked as he saw the girls skiptical. "Relax, Law is great at this stuff."
Luffy pulled his shirt off showing off his own tattoo of a man in iron boots fighting a giant wolf. "Can, I get our hometown symbol?" Marigold asked as she started to draw out the pirate symbol of the Kuja pirates.
"I want the same as Mari." Sandersonia said as she was confident it would cover her brand.
"I want the same thing you have." Hancock said as she blushed at the teens back as she saw his muscles flex as he was removing his shirt.
For the next hour, Law had used his devil fruit to remove the pain as he drawn on their skin. He had hurried with both Sandersonia and Marigold's tattoo as it was fairly symbol really only using white ink to do little details around the mark. It was Hancock's however that had taken him time to create. When asked why she wanted a tattoo similar to Luffy's, her only reply was it was to be beautiful as she needed it to be for her devil fruit. Her sisters did comment as the they watched their sister blush and nearly faint as she looked at Luffy.
In the end the tattoo had taken longer than expected as Luffy had heard the slaves starting to rush the docks. "Law, we need to get them onto the transports." Luffy stated as he saw Fisher leading men attacking the guards and marines that were trying to stop them.
"I am almost done." Law called out as he was finishing up the wolf as sweat had been pouring off the teen.
"Law, we have 2 minutes!" Luffy called out as Fisher was getting closer.
"Done!" He called out as he used his fruit for the final time causing the skin to be placed back on Hancock's back with the scene of the woman and man.
"Come on!" Luffy called out as he helped Hancock up as the pain of the tattoo had come to her all at once. "FISHER!"
"What is this human doing here?!" A fishman asked as they approached the warehouse that Luffy and others were in.
"Quiet." Fisher called out as they rushed the warehouse. "Where are the ships?"
"There, with enough supplies to last you until you reach Sabaody." Luffy said as he pulled out an eternal Log Post. "There meet with Rayleigh. He will help you all escape permanently. You need to take all of them."
"Of course, it was our deal." Fisher called out as he grabbed the young boy's hand. "Thank you for this chance."
"Just get out of here!" Luffy said as he turned to the man. "Fisher, you forgot something."
"Right," Fisher stated as he lifted his arm punched Luffy knocking him unconcious.
"Good luck, I will be getting him out of here." Law stated as he created a room and teleported them back to their ship.
Flashback end
"In the end I heard he was punished so hard by Garp for his failure." Hancock stated as she looked dreamily out the ship. "He had done so much just for me because it is how he is."
"Do you think he can truly beat Arlong?" Nami asked as she looked at the slightly older one.
"Oh, he already started." Hancock stated as she let girl in on her husband's plan.
A couple of days had passed as Luffy still tried to convince Sanji to join up with him. It had become a routine for the crew and chefs to watch Luffy day in and day out run inside talk to the rest of the chefs before finding Sanji and mercilessly badger him. "Come on, Sanji. Think about it. You can reconnect with your sister, I am willing to pay you decently, and ladies love a man in uniform." Luffy used every thing in the book today as it was his chance to finally have a good cook and food.
"For the last time, I am not going to be joining you!" Sanji stated as he chased Luffy out of the kitchen. "You are not allowed in here! Zeff will have my head for even letting you step foot in here!"
Sanji turned to kick the marine as he dashed away again taunting Sanji on how he would be toughened up once he joined. "He really wants that eggplant to join up huh?" Zeff asked Reiju as they connected and talked everyday after she had found out that he was the reason her brother was alive.
"He can be very stubborn when he wants to be." Reiju explained as she had seen firsthand what his stubbornness had caused. "It is Sanji's fault though. He told Luffy about his dream."
"Oh, the eggplant finally talked about All Blue huh?" Zeff asked as he looked at the pink haired girl.
"Yep, it is funny how crazy Luffy gets when he finds out about someone having a dream. He tends to stop at nothing to make it happen." Boa stated as she walked into the restaurant with her head slightly tilted up. "Reiju, I think you should go wrangle up our husband and your brother. I want to have a chat with the head chef."
"Of course," Reiju said looking like a predator. "Oh Luffy!"
"What can I do for the infamous Pirate Queen?" Zeff asked looking straight at the woman.
"Can…. You teach me how to bake a cake….." Boa gave her cutest puppy dog face she could which would make most men and women have hearts in their eyes. In fact most of the people around them staring at her instantly created those eyes.
"Oh, is there a special reason?" Zeff asked as he watched Sanji muttering as Reiju pulled Luffy towards his ship.
"I want to make Luffy a cake for our anniversary."Boa shyly stated as pink blush overtook her cheeks.
"Hahahaha," Zeff laughed as he looked at the embarrassed girl as he walked to the kitchen. "Come on, we will whip something up."
Everyone seemed in a joyous mood as the day went on except for Nami. She had seen Gin leave stating that he would be back after he brought food back to the men he promised to give up his life of crime. She was conflicted about this but he seemed like the man had strong morals. It was another thing that was seemed to be ruining her mood. 'This is the longest I have been away.' She thought as she saw the newspaper that morning. When she had heard that Luffy had already started to take care of Arlong, she had grown nervous. She had sent men to their deaths against the sawtooth shark fishman before. 'This time will be different.' She thought as she looked at Luffy as he was watching Zoro train with Law and Bonney.
She blushed as he turned towards her with his goofy smile on his face. It honestly was the only thing that was keeping her from running. Thinking back to the first night Hancock arrived was magical for Nami. She had never had such a welcome from other females besides her sister before. Thinking back it made her feel strange and then depressed as she remembered how happy she was feeling as her own sister and island were being oppressed by Arlong.
Nami continued to look at the man she had come to love over the last 2 months as they traveled from island to island. It was like a hurricane how strong and fast her emotions whipped up and changed towards the marine as he continued to help people. She looked at Koby training with a boulder on his back as an example. The young teen was slowly starting to lose his young looks and weak disposition as his training increased by having a small boulder put on his back as he walked around the dock. Day by day she felt as if he was like a piece of her puzzle of life that seemed to fit as he not only made them stronger but also made others happy to be around him. She blushed as she still remembered the talk Hanna gave her just a couple of days prior. 'She said he was already taking care of Arlong. What did she mean by that?' She thought as her sight wandered off to the horizon.
Luffy watched as his crew was working seamlessly with Hanna and Reiju. It was good that the Kuja pirates had departed recently over the last couple of hours as they had to take care of business at home. Luffy had noticed the winds changing recently as a he looked out onto the horizon. "Alright, that is enough practice today. Let's go eat food from our cook." Luffy called out as he turned his attention to Zoro.
Everyone seemed to notice Luffy's stare as he walked towards one of his newest crewmates. "What is it?" Zoro asked as he saw Luffy stare at him as if he was going to die.
"Nothing... just be mindful of your anger..." Luffy said in the most serious voice that caused a chill to go up Zoro's spine.
'What did he mean by that?' Zoro thought as he looked at his leader. Luffy however had gone back to his normal cheerful self as he walked with Bonney and Law towards the Baratie."Odd I thought there would be more people here." Bonney stated as they walked into the door as the place was basically empty as only a couple of customers were present staring at their food.
"Sanji isn't even here bothering the women." Reiju stated as she saw her brother flirt with every girl here at least once before they put him in his place or basically robbed him blind in Nami's case."Go on and sit down you bean sprouts. I will be helping with the food today." Zeff said as he saw who had walked in. "Order what you want."
"Hey old man, where is Hanna and Sanji?" Luffy asked as he had wondered where is wife was the entire morning and afternoon."Don't you worry she will be with you shortly." Zeff stated as he looked at into his kitchen seeing a Sanji statue. "Well, after she undoes what happened."
"Oh no..." Law grumbled as he knew the look that Zeff was giving them.
"Hahahaha" Luffy cried out as he laughed so hard at the other chefs visible though the door. "Of course she would."
"I better go help." Reiju said as she got up from the table to walk with Zeff to the kitchen.
They all started enjoy their meals as Hancock had finally come out of the kitchen holding a cake. "Luffy! Happy Anniversary!" She called out as she came out with a cake she made with the other chefs.
"Hanna, this is..." Luffy started before Gin burst in with a man that looked like he was about to die.
"Please, we need food and water." Gin cried out. "We have money! We can pay, please!"
"That is Don Krieg!" The remaining guests and chefs cried out. "Quick capture him!"
"Please, I will turn myself in. I just need food!" Krieg called out he begged.
"Don..." Gin cried as he saw the man who he respected begging and giving up.
"The only thing he will be getting is my knife at his..." Patty called out as he went to cut the man before getting kicked by Sanji.
"Move, you are in the way." Sanji said as he came out holding food.
'So, you also know the feeling of starvation.' Reiju thought as she saw her brother bring out the food.
"Here, eat." Sanji said as he placed the food down.
They all watched as Don Krieg ate. "Sanji you need to move." Luffy called out as he saw the man's intention was anything but his word.
Sanji jumped back in time to avoid the kick from Krieg. "You dodged... Well no matter. I demand 100 meals for my crew."
Zeff had already started to the kitchen knowing that he was going to give food he made with Hancock but he could not allow someone to starve. Walking back out, Zeff saw the marines had been where they were but the rest of the chefs were holding Sanji at gun point. "Here, give this to your men and leave." He stated dropping the sack at the man's feet.
"Zeff! Why?!" one of the chefs called out as they looked on in shock that their owner gave up food.
"We are sea chefs. We feed people." Zeff replied as he looked at his men. "You might all be hating on Sanji, however he is the only one of you that truly knows what it means to starve. To wish to die instead of having to live with the pain."
"Zeff... as in Red Leg Zeff!" Krieg called out as turned to commotion. "The man who is said to use his legs as a weapon so much that his legs were painted red with blood."
"I have not heard that name in a long time." Zeff stated as he looked at the man. "I am just a simple chef now."
"Simple, ha that much I doubt. I heard you traveled across the Grand Line." Krieg said looking at the man greedily. "You must have a log book of all your adventures. I need it! I had the power, I had the cunning, I just didn't have the knowledge. With it I will become King of the Pirates."
At that point, Luffy couldn't keep it in anymore. "HAHAHAHA! You King of the Pirates!" He cried out laughing harder. "From the sound of it you could barely pass Paradise!"
"You dare mock me!" Krieg called out as he looked at the marine for the first time. "You must be here for my head!"
"Nah, currently I am on vacation." Luffy stated as he watched the man as he got up. "I see you got in a bit of trouble and fled."
"It was that damn monster! He took down my ships one by one!" Krieg angered. "I would have been fine if it wasn't for him!"
"So, you ran like a dog with his tail between his legs." Hancock stated as if it was obvious. "No wonder you are so weak."
"WEAK! I WILL SHOW YOU, YOU BITCH!" Krieg roared as his pauldron's raised revealing guns. "THAT THIS!"
Kreig started to fire as he wanted to see the terror in the face of the smug group. The bullets flew towards them and then they stopped. "WHAT!" Krieg cried out as the bullets were in the hand of the leader of marines.
"Guns are just too slow." Luffy stated as no one but Boa, Law and Bonney had seen him get up. "Here."
Luffy flicked 4 bullets back at Krieg smashing his guns on his shoulders before he could realize what was happening. "Krieg!" Gin called out as the explosion caught up with the speed of the bullet.
"I am fine!" Krieg called out as he revealed his diamond armor.
"Now, get out of here and give your men their last meal." Luffy said as he turned his back on them. "After all you did wake him up from a nap."
"Oh, that is why they are like this." Bonney said as she finally expanded her haki out to feel out.
"Krieg you need to leave!" Gin pleaded as he picked up the bag. "Your men need this!"
"Fine." Krieg said as he turned to walk away. "I will be back with my crew to slaughter you all!"
Gin looked on in shock. The man had promised to leave once he was fed. Now he was going to kill them. But before Gin could comment, Krieg had stepped outside.
"Too late..." Luffy muttered he heard a loud explosion happen outside. "He is already here."
Krieg rushed out to see their ship be split in half as a man in a coffin ship sailed quietly towards them. "That monster chased us here!" Gin cried out as he saw the bodies of his comrades floating in the sea.
"Don Krieg, you are under arrest for multiple crimes." Law called out as he did not wish to have them get scolded by Garp. "Surrender."
"Like HELL I..." Krieg said started to grab a gas mask before he felt his neck being cut.
"Don Krieg have been killed due to failure to surrender." Reiju stated as a butterfly knife twirled in her hand as she had a snail in the other. "Please send a crew to the Baratie to recover the bodies."
"I didn't even see her move..." Sanji said as he looked in awe of his sister but also the rest of the marines.
"I really wished he didn't show up now..." Law muttered as Koby was next to him looking at the carnage.
Out in the ocean Dracule Mihawk, known as the strongest swordsman in the world slowly approached.
Mihawk has arrived. Let's be honest. Not my best work. I rewrote this multiple times. But I could never get it right. This was my best version so I decided to publish it. Next chapter Mihawk's approaches, the world's strongest vs the three swordmaster.
