Thank you so much for the reviews! I'm in shock. How can I write, now?! Kidding, sort of - sorry to disappoint here on out. By the way, that episode was one of the main reasons I needed to write these, even just for me. I posted on here because, why not, you know? A better writer would have done it so much better justice, but it was such a waste of an opportunity. I wrote that one first. Thanks again!

Season 4 - Episode 19 - before 'Hindsight Part I'

February 14, 2016

She woke to a strange smell and her phone buzzing. It was Provenza, it was just after 1 am, it was a gang war, and Andy wasn't here. How did she miss him being called in?

She fell back on her pillow and smelled again. She turned her lamp on and almost knocked over a dozen red roses.

She smiled and just looked at them. Happy Valentine's Day. God, she loved this man. How did he sneak them in last night?!

She called his number.

"Hey babe."

"Where are you?"

"At the hospital. Three-year-old killed … not … not a good morning."

She hummed. "It's not even morning," she groaned, "You okay?"

He just rode with a three-year-old to the hospital, knowing that he wouldn't make it. "No, but … it's our job."

"I'm sorry. I love you. I need to get up and get ready, heading to the crime scene."

"I'll be there in a bit. I love you so much, Sharon."

"I love you and thank you for the roses."

"Yeah, was gonna give them to ya in the morning, but alas…"

"I told you not …"

"Unless you hate them, I will always give you flowers on Valentine's day. That's not all, though, so ... don't be mad…"

"Mmmmm," she laid back. "Well, thank you, they are beautiful. I'll see you soon, then…"

"You are beautiful. I love you."

"I love you, too, Andy. So very much."

She closed her eyes for a moment after they hung up. She was overwhelmed by him. She was not complaining, but it had been … forever, well, never if she was truly honest, that someone treated her like this. He seemed to think about her all the time, worry over her, worship her, and that would take some getting used to … and some thinking on her part for reciprocation.

Having taken so very long to realize how much he meant to her, that they should have gotten together, hell, twenty years ago, they had a lot of time to make up for. She thought that maybe he was trying to do that. Always going overboard with the romance. However, she smiled, it may just be Andy. It may just be who he is, and if so, she was incredibly lucky. She smiled as she prepared for the long day ahead. She'd have to wait a few years to see if this continued or if it was just a 'honeymoon phase'. She doubted it was.

They rode together back to the office from the crime scene, holding hands over the console, talking non-stop about the case, except …

"Why are you wearing blue?"

He winced. "I know, I was in a rush and trying to be quiet this morning and I didn't think."

"I had a purple tie picked out for you …" she was not really upset, but she loved to see him flustered.

"You want me to run home …"

She giggled and kissed his hand, "No. It's a good thing, really. You won't be as distracting."

"So I don't look good in blue?!"

She leaned over and kissed his cheek slowly, moved down to his neck. "Andy, you are sexy in anything, but you in purple … I don't know. Can't explain it. It's fine, I don't need to be distracted." She kissed near his lips and sat back, taking his hand with her and holding it in her lap.

"Did you look in your purse, yet?"

Her eyebrows lifted and she dropped his hand to reach for her things. "What, what?" She was excited. He loved her like this.

A new wallet, how did she miss that?! She'd complained about needing a new one a few weeks ago on their trip to New York and of course, he remembered. It had a cute picture of them and Emily in it from their trip. She grinned over to him.

"Sneaky."

"How did you not notice?"

"I don't look in my purse before I leave every day … maybe I should," she laughed, "It's the exact one that I wanted, how-"

"Emily, of course."

"Well I will thank her."

"I bought it," he whined.

"I will absolutely thank you later." She leaned over for a quick kiss.

"Not done yet, though …"

"Hmmmm."

She sat in her office before the meeting with Taylor and Howard, already finding the chocolates in her top drawer. She looked out to her team. It was early. A little before 5 a.m.

She couldn't leave this job. She couldn't stop doing this every day. With them. The NFL job would be interesting, and fun, but time consuming. She didn't know if she wanted to travel so much when all she wanted to do besides work was go to dinner with Andy and be with him and Rusty at home. She'd pretty much decided it wasn't a good idea, but Rusty seemed to be into it and Andy was pretending to be into it. He was very much against it. She knew that. He would deny it. There was only one reason he would be pretending to be for it.

Emily.

She'd begged her mother to retire since she was twelve. Not an everyday or every month complaint, but Emily did not like how dangerous her mother's job was and she would forever try.

Andy was on Emily's side… always. Now, though, Sharon knew that he didn't want her to take this job, to travel and be away for weeks at a time, but he understood how much safer it would be for her. Emily had started months ago asking him to retire. He only ever laughed. He wanted to appear neutral to Sharon, it was her choice. Rusty even thought that he was excited about it. Andy was not. Not at all. He would never say, though.

"Hey, have this for you," he rushed in, brought a file, and rushed back to his desk. She sighed, smiled, ate some chocolate, and got back to work.

Season 5 - Episode 19 - during 'Intersection'

March 28, 2017

"Can I just say," she whispered against him after he dried off from his shower and wrapped the towel around his waist, "how impressed I was today with you."

"Oh yeah?" He grinned, proudly.

"Yes, calling it a hit instead of a hit and run. Andy, you're right. I know it, but I'm very proud that you said it. Just," she kissed him, "you're so good at your job and I don't know if I tell you that enough."

He sighed and kissed her. "You do, but thank you, it's nice to hear."

She ran her fingers through his damp hair, "I need to stroke your ego sometimes …"

"You can stroke any-"

"Stop," she kissed him quickly and walked out, moving to their closet to dress.

"Why you invited them over for dinner tonight, I'll never know …"

"Well, when else could we have?! We never know what's going on from week to week, and if Patrice is going to help plan this thing …"

"This thing, our wedding?" He laughed.

"Andy, if we're going to have it in July … that's in four months …"

"I know, okay, I'm sorry," he was now leaning against the doorframe, still in his towel, watching her dress in the closet.

She finished and turned to just look at him. "I'm sorry… do you want … do you want to push it back? There's no rush …"

"Oh, I need to be your husband as soon as possible, and July 6th is our anniversary, so let's keep it. If we could just get married tonight, though … we have witnesses coming over, let me just call -"

"Okay," she stepped forward, patting his chest, "stop it." She leaned up to kiss him. "Get dressed, purple sweater over there," she nodded. "July 6th, sweetheart. Not sooner."

"As long as it's not later…" He dropped the towel and grabbed her, spinning her back to him as she giggled.

Season 4 - Episode 20 - 'Hindsight Part 2'

Technically, February 15th

Andy wanted to go ahead and either arrest Hickman or just kill him. His team would support it, surely … they could all get away with murder.

'Still cheating on your girlfriends? How many are you juggling now? You got both hands full?'

Mother fucker definitely needed a good punch in the face at least, or seventeen.

Andy breathed in and watched Sharon throughout Hickman's tirade, trying desperately to apologize silently. She didn't react, of course, after the initial head tilt.

Fuck Hickman.

He followed her into her office later. She was closing her blinds. She must have known they needed a little privacy.

He closed the door behind him and sat sadly as she closed the last of the blinds and walked in front of him, slightly sitting on her desk.

"Andy," she started.

"I would never cheat on you."

"You think I don't know that?" She smiled.

He shook his head, "I still feel the need to say it."

She reached for him as she stood, he followed. She played with his tie for a moment and continued to smile up to him. "Thank you for saying it, and I would never cheat on you either. Andy, the past is the past … I can't compare myself and worry about … do you think I want to compete with young twenty-somethings from your past? I can't be worried with …"

"You, Sharon," he pulled her into a hug, "babe, no one compares to you. No one can compete with you." He held her tighter and refused to release her when she tried to push back a little. "MmmMmm," he mumbled no. The blinds were closed. Fuck letting her go.

"Let me go a little and kiss me."

"Oh," so he did.

She smiled up to him after. "I love you, I trust you, fuck Mark Hickman."

"Exactly!" He grinned happily, kissing her again.

"I don't even know how to sew! Proudly."

He laughed. "I'll learn if you want," he kissed her yet again.

"Oh, I would pay to see that."

He grinned. He would make sure it happened, now.

"And," she continued, "I'm impersonating a police officer? I've never been so-"

"I know, my love, but some assholes don't believe IA or previous ... IA officers are real officers." He squeezed her, waiting for it ...

"You. Would. Know." She narrowed her eyes.

"I. Was. Very. Wrong." She knew he felt that. She knew he understood internal affairs ... now.

"Back to work," she ordered, but she pulled him in again for another long hug.

"Dinner tonight?"

"Probably not, but maybe … mmmm," she kissed him. "I hope."

"Blinds are closed, wanna mess around?" He knew the answer... but would always ask.

She hummed, holding him tighter, "I always want to 'mess around' with you, but of course, no. Get to work, I need some alone time … that is why the blinds are closed, goofball."

"Hey, I gotta make sure."

He was just so cute. She couldn't help herself from kissing him for the next three minutes or so. After his hands started traveling, she moved her lips to his ear after and said softly, "I do wish we could, Andy, but you know me. We'll have time tonight …"

"You sure, this case …"

"I know, but yes. We are going home tonight and will sleep. We need sleep."

"I don't need sleep. I need-"

"I know what you need, honey," she kissed him and smiled, "tonight, though."

He hugged her one last time, "I can't wait."
