I don't own Naruto.
Kakashi was walking through the streets of Konaha at midnight. He had tried to sleep but after few hours of lying in his bed, he was still wide awake. So he had decided to roam around until morning.
As Kakashi continued walking, he heard a cry for help. It sounded familiar. He started walking in the direction from where he heard the voice. Another cry for help. And he realized that it was Suzumi. Then he started running. He didn't heard her voice again but he still continued running in the direction from where he had heard her.
After running for a couple of minutes, he found Suzumi. She was pinned to the wall by a man who was forcibly kissing her and his hand was underneath her shirt. Kakashi saw red. Within the blink of an eye, Kakashi was next to that man and knocked him out cold. Kakashi turned to her. "Suzumi, I- "
Kakashi cut himself off when suddenly she hugged him with such force that he found himself lying on the ground with her on top of him and she was crying in his chest. He hugged her back tightly.
After few minutes, Kakashi realized that she had fallen asleep while crying. He carefully lifted himself up without waking her. Then he carried her bridle style and began running on the rooftops to reach his home quickly.
Kakashi quietly opened the door and stepped inside. He went straight to his room and laid her on the bed. He took off her sandals and pulled a blanket on her.
After starting at her for a few more minutes, he went to the kitchen and started making himself a coffee. From the looks of it, he knew that it would going to be a long day. He signed.
Suzumi woke up with a scream and breathing heavily. She had the weirdest dream ever. Her father was marrying her off then she had heard her father talking to someone after that she had run away from her home. Then someone had pinned her to the wall and had touched her. She had cried for help and it was Kakashi who had came to save her.
It was Kakashi's voice and a gentle shake to her shoulders that brought her out of her thoughts. Her eyes landed on Kakashi, she looked around herself and realized that she was not in her room but she was in Kakashi's. And currently she was sitting on his bed and he was hovering above her.
Then realization dawned on her that what she saw was not a dream but rather it all had happened. She had run away from her home and bumped into someone who had tried to rape her and Kakashi was the one who had helped her and brought her to his house. She began to hyperventilate and tears started streaming down her cheeks without her notice. A pair of arms tightly wrapped around her pulling her face into his chest. She began to cry harder.
