*This is ported by Wattpad, feel free to come by as I've focused on making stories there rather here.*

This is it, the first chapter...

I have tempted to play this game, and I will admit, outside the Gacha and in my opinion I felt a bit oversaturated with open world games, the story and lore makes up for it. And for some questions wondering...

Why Lumine?

I like her character than the main canon (Aether), plus I play as her in the official game itself.

Will the OCs break the canon?

Unlikely, I try my best to write it to connect within the main storyline. I adore the lore itself and the main timeline, so I won't try to make major changes, only alter some aspects. Adding the OCs will be tough but rest assure their added backstory will fill up the main story without feeling to break.

More details?

As you guys should know, I am planning to mix up the main storyline along having adding other elements to progress the plot faster, including Story Quests that will be mix in. That's all you're gonna know...

What to expect?

Do you guys consider some spin-off projects, I do plan some such as OVAs, heck even a prequel of sorts.

With that said, enjoy the chapter!

At the dark but luminescent night, two shooting stars that stand out of all the other stars fly across the sky.

My name is Lumine. We are travelers from the cosmos, my brother Aether and I observe many worlds. Too many to count, we are always together. But that day... That one fateful day, I would never forget it.

That one world, we were watching it, I couldn't remember much what happen... We were about to leave, then someone stopped us...

From the sky, the two figures stand on the platform, where there are white archway structures. Then massive dark red-orange glowing portal opens in front of them. Both are blonde hair with fiery gold eyes and pale skin.

Aether, the one wearing brown, with gold, and black accents stood beside his sister, Lumine, the one wearing a white dress with gold and black accents. Both witness a figure emerging out of the portal, a woman with white hair and golden eyes, she wears brown, black and white. Her eyes sternly glared at the two travelers.

"Your journey ends here, Outlanders!" She stated in a demanding tone of voice.

"Who are you?" Lumine asked as Aether place his hand in front of her, worried.

"Lumine." Aether fretted.

"The sustainer of heavenly principles. Thus the arrogation of mankind ends now." She speaks, raising her hand. An black orange cube is summoned from the palm.

Then the platform from the travelers' feet glowed orange and black, they saw and quickly jumped out of the way as they avoided the attack as cube risen up.

Lumine and Aether have summoned their wings and flied straight at the figure, along armed with their swords. The figure remain unfazed as she raised her hand again, tendrils made by the red cubes rushed to them.

Both dodged from the tendrils, they swirl through the air, avoiding the tendrils from catching, just as both rounded up. They both nodded to each other and took the opportunity, the figure summons the shield as they clashed.

A massive explosion erupted at the sky, as their swords are being hold by the figure's supernatural force. Their expressions hardened, but the figure stared at Lumine. Suddenly, cubes spread through her sword, she widened her eyes as she let go and fly off.

But Aether... Wasn't so lucky, his sword and himself was being swarmed by the cubes. Lumine gasped, "Aether!" She yelled.

Aether looks at her sister with worry, before he is fully covered by cubes, as the cubes broke off, leaving no trace of him, absorbed into the one cube the figure has in possession.

Enraged, Lumine charged forward, go straight behind the woman, her sword glows bright yellow into a flash of large light. She swings headstrong onto the woman, another explosion. She stares but is surprised, as the cubes swarm the explosion, absorbing it.

The woman retains her same expression as the cube covers her sword, removing it. Then with a flick of her hand, the cubes then finally consumes her. Unable to move, as it covers her, watching the woman have the cube that contains her brother, the woman turns away.

"Wait!" Lumine shouted. "Give me back my brother!" Before she is fully consumed away... No sound, and darkness clouded her vision.

My brother, Aether is gone. By this Unknown God, she stopped us, when we were about to leave...

Lumine's eyes opened up, she gasped and gets up, looking around. All she sees is grass, tries, rocks and all. All looks familiar...

"Aether!" She calls out, no response, just birds chirping and the wind sounds. She bends, on her knees. "Aether..." She muttered. She must find him! She reaches her hand up to the sky, but nothing ever happened...

My powers! Lumine's thoughts exclaimed, she can't feel the strength she mustered from before. She felt helpless... All she can do, is look down feeling mustered and sadden. She wanted to cry, but who will listen.

Lost, through this unknown world... I spend many days, was it weeks?

Lumine walks around the grasslands, her eyes retains its dull color, she hasn't smile nor change her expression. From her days, all she ever done is to survive...

And she is alone... Remaining sitting and looking around she hides under a cave with a campfire she has made. Not her first time relying on her survival skills, her brother helped her, and she learn a thing or two throughout other worlds.

She manages to see a campsite underneath the cave ledge, it is left behind, abandoned. There she finds some boxes, and a silver sword. Not much, but it'll have to do...

Rain pours down, Lumine shifts back away from the wet droplets. She takes an apple and eats it, at least she won't have to worry about the food problem. She stays behind the campsite, fire flickers but stays strong despite the rain. Her sword remains sticking down the ground.

If only Aether were here...

Two months have past... Lumine has hold out self-made fishing rod, she plans to eat something. She swings her rod as the bait and hook into the water and waits for the fish to take the bait. She waits...

And waits... Her eyes closes, due to the overwait. Then something caught her fishing rod, she opened her eyes and yack the rod.

"Gah!" A yelp perked her eyes, Lumine witness something caught in her line. A small girl fairy, have light skin, dark purple eyes, and white hair. She wears white, with night-blue cape and she has a halo. And that, Lumine placed her at the land.

"Argh, Paimon should not try getting fish this day..." The fairy muttered.

"Um... Who are you?" Lumine asked. What an odd... Exotic creature.

"Huh?" The fairy looked at her. "Um, I'm Paimon, who are you?" She asked her.

"I'm... Lumine..." Lumine introduced herself. "And an odd creature, this can talk..."

"Hey! Paimon is not a creature!" She shouted.

"Paimon?" Lumine tilted her head. "Is that your name or some kind of species?"

"NO! Paimon is Paimon!" The fairy named Paimon shouted as she stomp her foot despite she is floating.

"I wonder how it tastes..." Lumine muttered.

"Paimon hear that!" Paimon shouted.

But to the day, I find Paimon... I thought it was an odd creature...

But it turns out... She is now my best friend...

After we've settled, I told her everything, what I've lost...

At the beach, Lumine and Paimon are there, with Lumine herself sitting at the sands, holding a stick as she draws out the shooting stars. It used to be a wild goose chase between the two. Until they settle down, here, Paimon has to teach a few stuff about words, after that, Lumine has told Paimon, about everything...

"So... You fell here... From another world?" Paimon asked. "But when you wanted to leave, and go on to the next world, your path was blocked by some unknown god?"

Lumine nodded, "And that, she took away my brother..." She looks at the drawing.

Paimon replied as she sympathize with her. "So you couldn't do anything from before?"

"No, I lost my power..." Lumine replied. "She put me some kind of seal, I couldn't do anything. I felt so useless."

"But Paimon doesn't think you're useless." Paimon assured. "You really helped Paimon, otherwise Paimon would've been drowned at the lake."

"Thanks, Paimon." Lumine smiled at her new friend. "And sorry for about to... Well, eat you..." She chuckled nervously.

"Paimon forgive you for that one too." Paimon nodded as she remains floating. "So, how long you were here in Tevyat?" She asked.

"I was alone for... Two months?" She assumed. "It felt so long, I barely remember the other past days."

"No worries!" Pamion gleamed. "In fact, let Paimon be your guide! To this world! Paimon will do her best!"

"This world..." Lumine looks around the ocean. Vast yet shining. "Of course Paimon." She smiles as she stands. "Lead the way."

"Alright!" Paimon beamed. "But first, Paimon has to eat! We haven't gotten anything since you caught me."

"Right, hope about fishing again?" Lumine teased. "Maybe you could be bait this time."

"Hey! Don't joke Paimon like that!" Paimon pouted.

"Sorry." Lumine apologized. "It's been a while, since I've talked to anyone."

"Well, Paimon will forgive you for that again." Paimon huffed. "Since, we are friends. Paimon will allow some banter."

"Gotcha, Emergency Food." Lumine giggled.

"Something tells Paimon you are a wild sibling compare to your brother!" Paimon angered by that joke, ever since Lumine caught her, she's been making this joke, until she had to tell everything.

Somewhere in the similar green lands, there was a campsite, but it was used to be... As it is ruined, large ice shards are spread all around the field. The tents are ripped, items tattered all over, lanterns, masks, and hats. There are ice statues spread around, as it looks to be form as if they are being covered.

Someone walks, its dark boots covered in bits of ice, as the pieces falls off. A tall man, wearing dark and blue formal clothes, yet with a rugged form. His dark blue fingerless gloves remains clenching, also covered in ice shards.

He walks to the unscathed tents, he found some papers, he looks for them. His fair skin and ice cold eyes gaze at something... A letter, he picks it up and reads it. "This is it..." He muttered, then he reaches something a item in his ear. "This is Xavier, arrive at rendezvous point."

Somewhere at the forest, a certain girl, light purple hair, purple eyes, and light skin. Sitting at the tree branch, as her jacket and other clothes giving the major sliver and purple colors with hints of ice blue. The device on her ear, blinks, Xavier's voice spoke out, her grin smirks before she disappears entirely, leaving fickle of electricity behind.

Then another campsite, ruined as trails of rock that are glowing yellow emerged from the ground, another figure is walking. A man, with slight light skin, brown eyes and light brown hair. He is wearing a mix of a sort of ranger and a formal attire, having colors of beige and brown, along having a cloak that is brunt orange that reaches at its back.

The same device on his ear blinks, he pressed the com, "Xavier, this is Jonathan, I have destroyed the Hillchurl camp. What have you found?"

The man named Xavier stares at the letter, before he speaks out. "...Their next plan."

So this world is known as Tevyat. Paimon has told me much about this world...

I want to learn about this place so I know where to look...

"So, there are like Seven Nations?" Lumine asked as she walks besides Paimon whose floating with her.

"Mhm!" Paimon nodded. "This leads this world having Seven Archons. They are like Gods! Each rule their own nation."

"So... What is this nation?" Lumine wondered.

"Well, this is the nation where the God of Wind lives." Paimon replied. "Maybe that one might not be the Unknown God, but maybe knowing a thing or two. It's called Mondstadt, city of freedom."

"Mondstadt..." Lumine muttered. "So where should we go?"

"Paimon thinks we should go to the Statue of the Seven! Follow Paimon." Paimon pointed the way as she floats forward, Lumine follows her. They walk to the path, until they reach the ledge. Here they witness this, Lumine for the first time seen the whole area. She hasn't explored much.

"Wow..." Lumine exclaimed.

"Look! The statue of Seven!" Paimon pointed where Lumine sees the Statue itself, on top there is a figure of a man wearing a cloak and hood, he has feathered wings on the back and both of his hands are holding the orb. It is surrounded by a circle body of water. "Let's go. Like poetry and language flow like the wind, there'll definitely be someone there who should know your brother."

"I hope so..." Lumine pondered.

"Hey, if the gods answer you or not, you never know unless you try." Paimon advised. Lumine nodded to her friend, as they head to the statue. "You can surely swim to the other side." She said.

Lumine proceeds to swim, luckily the water is shallow, and the swim is short. She reaches the land, slightly shook her clothes that are wet. She goes closer to the statue as she stares it, she can't help but feel some kind of ominous sense to that thing...

"Go ahead." Paimon smiled. "Try to touch it."

Lumine slowly reaches her hand to the statue, suddenly it glows. She gasped taking a step back, as wind gently breezes, then the wind that was emitted from the statue formed up into a sphere as it flies in circle, descending to her before it turns into the wind itself engulfing her.

"Woah..." Lumine wowed as she looks at her hands as the winds surrounded herself slowly disappear.

"Ooh!" Paimon gleamed. "How did it feel?"

"I felt different..." Lumine replied. "It's like getting a... New power."

"Ah... So you got the power of Anemo!" Paimon gleamed. "Though, it's odd, not many others can do like you did. Getting the power, just like that."

"How do they get it?" Lumine questioned.

"Visions!" Paimon stated. "They are like things they have hanging around, which gives them the power of elements. You might be a unique set!"

"Well... I am from a different world." Lumine chuckled.

"Mhm!" Paimon nodded. "Well, we should go to the city, it's not that far..." She turns to see the cityscape itself, and she's right. It is not that far...

Lumine is about to go, but she hears a sound, but her instincts tensed. "Paimon move!" She yells as she jumps to push Paimon who was about to be shot by an arrow. She lands on the ground, looking who are the ones shooting...

There she sees a group of humanoid like creatures, wielding crossbows and some are holding wooden clubs. They are bare-chested and footed, having their large mane covering most of their head, their faces is covered by a mask. The only clothing they wear is a loincloth, while their arms and legs are loosely wrapped in bandages.

"Yargh!" One of them roared, pointing at Lumine, those without the bows throw rocks at her.

"What do we do!?" Paimon panicked. "Paimon hasn't seen this many Hillichurls!"

So that's what they are, Lumine pondered as she stares at them, "We need to get out of here." She advised. There they dodged the arrows, going to the other side of the island. Heading straight to the forest.

"Woah, Paimon never seen so many..." She muttered.

"I haven't seen them, so those are... Hillichurls." Lumine remarked.

"Yep, these meanies tend to terrorize anything but themselves." Paimon stated. "But Paimon expected the Mondstatd people to take care of them."

Lumine hummed, then unknowingly a massive shadow fly above them, they saw it too. "What's that!?" She gasped.

"It's heading to the heart of the forest!" Paimon pointed the direction. They rushed straight to where the shadow is going.

They walked slowly, as closer they go. Hiding behind the tree, Lumine and Paimon peeks a look. There she sees a massive dragon, it is blue, its lights emitted from different areas of the body. Six wings, three on each side. But what perks Lumine is someone close to the dragon as its on the ground.

A boy... Fair skin, aqua-green eyes, and short black hair with short twin braids at the sides of his face that fade into aqua at the tips. He wears a corset and a small cape, he looks like a bard...

"It's okay... I'm here." He speaks in a softest tone.

"Is he talking... To a dragon?" Paimon whispered.

Lumine stares at the bard, suddenly an wind of energy surges around her, surprised. Then the Dragon look at the direction where they are hiding. As it roars loudly, before it swings its claws which the bard boy jumps back shocked to see it go berserk.

"Who's there!?" The boy exclaimed, then the dragon suddenly roar, that bellows the trees.

"Run for it!" Paimon fretted as Lumine complied as the two make a run, but the dragon then flap its wings, releasing a powerful shockwave. Lumine staggers as Paimon holds onto her, while she noticed the bard boy disappears into the wind. "What was that!?" She exclaimed.

"So, dragons aren't a thing here..." Lumine stated. "And he was talking to it, is that normal?"

"Paimon was sure we would get eaten..." Paimon sighed in relief. "And no it's not." She answered Lumine's question. Then she noticed a red glowing object on the ground, where the dragon stood. "Over here!" She pointed out the object.

They go to the top of the rock, Lumine climbs while Paimon floats up. They see it is some kind of red glowing stone, shaped some kind of droplet. "Paimon, know what that is?" She asked.

"Nope. Paimon, never seen this. Maybe we can take it." She suggested. Lumine seemed a bit hesitant, but given the circumstances. She reaches it grabs it, so far, harmless. "Alright! So far so good!" Paimon smiled.

"Yargh!" A familiar sound occur. Lumine turned around, summons her sword a Hillichurl jumped out swinging its club as it clashes her sword. Paimon panicked behind but another one came from behind, Paimon luckily turned around as she flies down, avoiding a swing.

Lumine sees Paimon is in trouble, she pushes the Hillichurl with her strength. The power of Anemo is with me... She concentrate, as her palm channels the energy. Then wind surges up, she lets out a yell pushing her hand to the Hillichurl, releasing the wind, that blasted it away.

She looks at her palm, this is the power of Anemo... She looks to see another trying to hit Paimon, she runs forward readying her sword, slashing at the creature, causing it to fall.

"Wow! Paimon saw that!" Paimon exclaimed. "You have the power of Anemo! Paimon's jealous! Why don't Paimon get cool fighting powers?"

Lumine giggled at her friend's remarks. Not knowing, someone is spying on her, a female who is smiling. Just then, a warning horn plays out, alerting the two, more Hillichurls arrived but there was two big ones that stand out from the reinforcements.

"Gek! Mitachurls!" Paimon yelped. Lumine remains steady, holding her sword. The two giants grunted as both hold large axes and orange slimes, they fused the slime into their blades as it glows orange.

They both swing their axes downwards, Lumine and Paimon have to back off due to their sheer size. The other Hillichurls pick up rocks and those who have their bows aimed and fire at them. Lumine manages to deflect the arrows with her sword.

"Look out!" Paimon exclaimed as Lumine has seen the axe swinging sideways, she blocks it but is easily pushed back by its strength. But not before seeing another one roars sending a punch right at her, sending her crashing into the tree. "Lumine!" She exclaimed as comes to her as Lumine slowly gets up, hurt but standing.

Paimon gasps seeing how she gets up, Lumine is not giving up. She must stay on, no matter whose in her way.

Before the Mitachurls can ready their next attack, suddenly they all hear multiple zaps. The two giants turned to see their others are down, the only one standing is a woman.

Paimon sees her, along with Lumine. Light purple hair, purple eyes, and light skin. Wearing a purple and silver jacket-like attire with tints of blue. Then Paimon saw something a purple orb on the center collar necklace. An Electro Vision! Paimon recognized that.

Lumine watches, the woman, she retains her smile. The Mitachurls begin to swing their axes but she smoothly dodges them. Then a catalyst appear on her side. She summons surges of electricity from her hands as she finger-gun pointed them, then it shoots out, hitting them.

But they are unfazed, they swing their axes again. She narrow rolls down their attack. Heading straight towards Lumine, before carrying her braid style. Lumine looks at her, closer as she winks her eye when seeing face-to-face.

"Hey!" Paimon yelled as she follows her, while still carrying. Lumine couldn't do anything, she is taking her away, and the hit still hurt her. They continue running off, the Mitachurls commence chase. "Lady! Where are we going!" Paimon demanded.

"Don't worry!" She replied. "I got this! Hold onto me!" Paimon immediately holds onto her, then she closes her eyes as she jumps of the rock. Then Paimon sees her Vision glows purple as stream of electricity emitted before summon none other as... Copies of themselves?

"What the...?" Paimon silently exclaimed. There are two copies, one on each side. There she sees the lady, Lumine, and Paimon?! Each of illusions stood still as they run away.

The Mitachurls arrived to see these two illusions, as each are mocking with fake Paimons sticking their tongue out. This enrages them as each follow one, the illusions also run away. For a while, the two grouped at the empty campsite, near the barrels. The giants arrived, now infused their axes. They swing their axe down, but once they hit them, they were phased through, and disappearing leaving elements of Electro infused into their axes, hitting the barrels revealing to have the same orange slime contained inside.

Just from the distance, explosions occur from afar as the real Paimon witness the sight. "Wow! That was incredible, thank you young lady- Lumine!" Paimon exclaimed seeing how Lumine closed her eyes.

"It's okay..." The 'lady' assured. "She's just sleeping..."

Paimon is relieved but she has questions, "Hey, Paimon wants to ask... Who are you?" She asked.

The girl turns as she grins. "First things, we gotta go, to the rendezvous point!"

Then again... This happens.

Somewhere at the destroyed campsite... A girl with long dark brown hair, orange-gold eyes, and fair skin. Her attire consists of a jumper-like outfit. Dark brown, red and white colors, with tints of gold. Notably, she has a red bow on her head, that looks like bunny ears.

And a Vision, but its red, holstered at the belt of her waist. As she looks around the damages, as she sighs. She knows who caused this particular scenario... A girl with power to summon illusions with Electro...
