Note: This Fanfic takes place after the events of season 4 but before anything else so whatever happens after in the manga won't be here. My hero is owned by Kohei Horikoshi however Oc's that will be in the fanfic are owned by me. Any fanart and dub of this is fine so long as you credit me in it.
Prologue
The Start of an Odyssey
It was a dark and stormy night in the middle of America. Rain pitter pattered on windows and the earth itself. Lightning struck soil as lightning shattered the sky. Dark clouds formed across the atmosphere and stretched far over the horizon. In the middle of all of this rain and storms there was a man, a leader of a new nation. One that tried its best to stay hidden from the worlds eye. The only ones that new of its existence was America and some countries across Europe and Asia. This leader was in there office starring out a large pair of windows. Rain was pittereing across the window and wind was blowing rather harshly.
The man stood there, arms behind the back and a cloak was over there head and gently swayed across the breeze. They were thinking and planning as to what to do next. Yet they also called for there advisor to come into there office to talk to them about recent events. The door to the room creaked open as there advisor wearing fancy robes peered in. looking around the darkly lit room seeing there leaders desk with there computer lit up and a rug next to a chair and lamp on the other side. Once they found there leader the walked into the room, closing the door, and cleared there throat.
"You have come here for recent events correct?" The Leader asked without even turning around. There voice was deep, soft, and calming to the soul.
"Y-y-yes my lord, everything you asked for is with me." The Advisor answered nervous at messing something up. There voice soft and soothing like The Leader's only more feminine. The Leader chuckled ever so slightly and turned there head a small bit to one side.
"Excellent work my advisor. Come, stand beside me and explain in detail what has happened. I shall prepare some background music if you wish."
"That won't be necessary sir though thanks for asking." The Advisor answered still nervous as to what could happen next.
They began to walk up to There Leader with paper and files in there hands. The paper was of recent events written down while the files hid pictures and other things gathered. Once they had reached to the side of there leader they fixed up the slightly unstraightened bundle of files and papers to be straight once more. There Leader sighed slightly as they fixed themselves up and cleared there throat for explaining.
"What shall I start with first my lord?" The Advisor asked looking up at there Leader's covered face. They were wearing a mask that's symbols and design were obscured in the dark light, the only thing truly poking out were the deep shaded purple eyes staring out the window. They had shifted ever so slight to her for a split second then turned back to the window.
"Start with the earliest events then work you way from there."
"As you wish my lord." The Advisor cleared her throat and began with the earliest recorded events as of recent. "Well for starters Ireland has expanded further into the UK taking over more of wales Cornwall and main land England. The middle east has gotten new heroes on the rise and Turkey has taken more of Syria. Then there's India which has had an economic boom and the US has-"
"Stop, stop, knock it off this instant madam. What are you doing?" The Leader asked slightly annoyed.
"Listing off the earliest events like you asked sir." The Advisor answered looking confused. There Leader sighed heavily and put there hand on there eyes.
"I never asked for events across the whole world I only asked for events in Japan. Though the news across the world helps I wish to know in detail what has happened in Japan. After all, the country is in limbo and I want to be refreshed as to what has happened." The Leader stated with a stern yet soft voice. The Advisor looked flustered and ruffled through there papers and files again and pulling out Japanese information only. She cleared there throat again and began once more on the correct information this time.
"Terribly sorry my lord I got confused. Anyways to begin with, students from UA's hero course were interviewed by a reporter, not much to note on that. Though some spies claim they know who the successor to All Might is, however I'm not sure if they're correct or just lying." The Advisor stated looking over the photos of one of the hero course students talking with the reporter.
"Ah that's right All Might's retired now thanks to HIM am I correct?"
"Y-y-yes sir HE made sure All Might would never work again. A sad day even for us, am I correct?"
"I couldn't care less, though the loss of him can cause havoc. At least WE know the successor right?" The Leader asked looking at there advisor with slightly dilated eyes. The Advisor coiled back slightly from the sudden movement but quickly gained composure and answered him.
"More evidence does point to the Green Haired Boy being All Might's successor yes. I believe his name is Izuku Midoriya sir."
"Good to hear, continue with the events my Advisor."
"W-w-well after the interview some students in that class took up work studies with big time hero agencies in Japan. A big step for those ones especially if you ask me."
"Ah yes of course they do, why not after all and which heroes joined which agencies?"
"The start up heroes are E-e-e, Permission to say there hero names sir?"
"If you find those foreign names to hard then so be it my advisor."
"Thank you, anyways they are, Red Riot, Uravity, Froppy, and Deku. Red Riot is with Fat Gum, Uravity and Froppy are with the dragon hero and Deku join. Sir Nighteye."
"Makes sense successor meets sidekick. How ironic if you ask me. Do we know what happened to make them join each one?"
"Well they got help from UA's 'big three' the best students in the hero course. Powerful quirks to I believe they deserve that title."
"Tch who cares about some title so long as they have skill I couldn't care less about THOSE students. Though if I recall Red Riot experienced a quirk enhanced person correct?"
"Yes my lord, not only that but Fat Gums other work studies hero got shot with a drug that stopped his quirk. With me I have a sample of the unfinished product so to say." The Advisor said pulling out a small red bullet which looked like a blow dart minus the fluffy tail end.
The Leader glanced at it and grabbed it taking a closer look at the bullet. He seemed intrigued by it, impressed even that a drug like this exists. Though he wasn't sure how his Advisor got her hands on one much less that this was an 'unfinished version'. He kept staring at the bullet while he asked his Advisor a question.
"So someones quirk can just no longer work with THIS bullet. How is that possible and better yet what do you mean 'unfinished'?"
"Well you see sir that thing right there we had to smuggle from a drug dealer and they said it'd only temporarily stop the quirk. However mentioned that a new one would come soon that end the quirk itself forever. For a little while we didn't know how they were made, perhaps an infusion of Erasure Heads blood with some quirk enhancing drug. At least that's we thought until we analyzed what its made of."
"I don't like that tone, it implies something dark was used to make it. What is it made of actually? I highly doubt it's infusion with an enhancer and blood."
"It's blood from a little girl. Our information on her is limited but we figured out that she was a part of the Shie Hassaikai. A Yakuza group living in the shadows."
"Yakuza, the Japanese mafia? I thought all of them died out after All Might came along, perhaps I was wrong. So the Hassaikai used a little girl to make a drug for villains? Though I think you skipped a few moments with that group go back and explain them, then explain this girl." The Leader said clutching the bullet in his fist and glancing at The Advisor. The Advisor looked nervous and turned over to the Hassaikai information she glanced over
"Well before that event with the bullet happened, the leader of the Hisaikai or the young head of it, a man we only really know as Overhaul-" The Leader looked over with a raised eyebrow and The Advisor sighed. "Alright his other name is Kai Chisaki, I shall refer to him as Overhaul for my sake alright?" The Leader scoffed a little and nodded The Advisor would then continue. "Thank you, anyways the young head made a meeting with the League of Villains and offered them a deal to use them as a cover while the Yakuza stay hidden and sell the drugs to the public. A few spies came back with the information that blood was spilled, both sides lost someone and the Hisaikai left with very little gained. However it does look like later the League did offer a little help with them during a raid on there headquarters." The Advisor said looking over pictures of the events after effects. The Leader grabbed one of the pictures looked it over and scoffed.
"There now we are caught up proper. Now about that little girl. She has a rewind quirk correct?"
"You're sort of correct sir. As I mentioned earlier information on her is limited but what we do have does state the reason she was used was that her quirk was a mutation not hereditary from her parents. It seems to be able to rewind someones body back in time, so far in fact it could rewind you to before you existed." The Advisor said looking over to there leader with a bit of sweat on there head.
They noticed that there leader looked shocked at that and even impressed at the girls abilities.
"And she just had Nat 20s on the quirk role? A quirk like that is immensely dangerous yet powerful at the same time. Here I thought it was only able to rewind so far not to the point of none existence. I fear what happened to that girl."
"Yes well, when her quirk activated little information is known about, what happened all we truly know is that she was brought in by her grandfather, the real leader of the Hassaikai, after the incident. However Overhaul experimented on her and found out what her ability did. It was at that moment she was used to make the bullets, for, Overhauls quirk could just bring her body back to normal. A messed up thing it is sir I'm glad she's gone from that man."
"Well that is good to know that she was freed from his clutches. However I am curious what happened during the raid on the headquarters?"
"Oh r-r-right, well the raid began when a member of there elite 'The 8 Precepts of Death', broke the doors down and made Ryukyu duel with them while the rest went into the building. Of course our spies couldn't go in so details are a bit hit and miss, however they found that while scanning the rooms below the whole facility was shifting and warping almost like it was being molded like clay. Along with that more members of the 8 fighting back most notably Rappa against Fat Gum and Red Riot. He we know a little bit more of for our spies found him blown up and recovered instantly by Overhaul. He joined shortly after and well he broke Red Riot with one punch. However Red Riot continued to fight and actually stopped Rappa and a shield member a name I can't find for some reason, though Fat Gum ended the fight himself."
"You seem to be forgetting names a lot madam I thought you knew there names?"
"W-w-well you see sir our documents on specifics on the members of The 8 Precepts is lacking. We hardly know anything about them however most notable ones are ones with a cronostasis quirk and the other with a truth reveal quirk. Names are currently unable to be found at least for me, I searched all documents on the Hassaikai and I've got nothing sir. Please don't take it personally."
"It's quite alright My Advisor I'm well aware of the name of the one controlling the building as well as the members. See this as a learning experience to bring more spies to be on the lookout in area alright?"
"Y-Yes sir, anyways the raid went about how you predicted sir, many on both sides were either wounded or critically injured. Lemillion, Sir Nighteye's little prodigy, lost their quirk during the raid and Sir Nighteye himself. He was killed in the raid died shortly after from injures sustained from Overhaul. A sad day to be sure."
"I couldn't give less of a damn on that mans death however I won't deny the mourning others shall feel from that."
"Yes well at least Overhaul got karmic justice brought to him."
"How so?"
"Well members from the League betrayed the Hassaikai and took the finished products of the bullets, we saw that one container was blue. An antidote to the red bullet no doubt. However as for Overhaul himself he lost both his arms, one from Mr. Compress and the other from Shigaraki. He screamed out from either pain or the fact he could never heal what ha broke from his old master. Before you ask yes we have a sample of his blood though it's not enough the synthesize." The Advisor said pulling out a tube with a small amount of blood at the bottom of it.
The Leader didn't bother grabbing the tube and instead just looked at it for a split second then back outside. Thunder shattered the sky as lightning struck the ground as The Advisor jumps slightly from the noise. The Leader didn't react at all and simply began speaking once again on a plan in the works.
"It doesn't fully matter we can always find him in Tartarus and gather more later. However if that doesn't work then forget about it and find a new way to get that quirk. If it were in our hands we could end the conflict easily."
"Or even repair our own wounded without much trouble."
"Correct madam, now continue with the details."
"Oh right, the next isn't much to talk about UA had a school festival and Izuku stopped Gentle Criminal and La Brava from breaking in. both were sent in and are now given a second chance at life. Not much there however reports do say that the little girl finally smiled and is now living in UA due to the safety from her quirk."
"So she's in house arrest in a sense, and they call us villains."
"They treat her well sir besides the biggest thing is that Endeavor is now the number 1 hero and he fought a new strand of Nomu."
"I thought they were all captured after All For One was locked in Tartarus. Also what type of strand is this one?"
"Well unlike others it could speak. It gave Endeavor and Hawks a hell of a fight but they were I believe killed or at the very least captured. Though now Endeavor has lost an eye and Hawks did lose some feather if I'm not mistaken." The Advisor said slightly quickly before taking a breath and easing up.
The Leader then looked slightly concerned about something. The Advisor didn't know what but the look in there eyes said something. Perhaps it was the mention of a Nomu that upset him or the fact that Endeavor is the number 1 instead she could not tell. What could be said however is that The Leader then cocked there head to look at her with the same concerned look in them.
"Is that all, the Nomu against Endeavor and the League gaining the finished quirk destroying drug? I have a feeling like something else is happening from within yet I'm not if this is all we know or not."
"It's not my lord, something has awakened from within UA."
"What do you mean by that? What has awakened inside of UA?"
"That's just the thing sire, we aren't sure it's only rumors as of now. However what has been stated is that voices have been heard and a shadow has been seen watching the troops."
"A shadow? That should not be possible the only one with a shadow based quirk in UA is Tokoyami, and what are the voices saying?"
"Well they aren't saying anything they're only beckoning and screaming for help. To 'fix them' yet they also call out to you when they saw our troops insignia. Sire do you know of this thing?" The Advisor asked with a raised eyebrow.
The Leader only stood there shocked as to what has happened. They then began chuckling at first quietly then into a small fit of laughter that was soft but and an aura of insanity to it. The Advisor just stood there frightened as to what they were looking at.
"M-My lord?" The Advisor said worriedly at there Leader.
The Leader, still laughing only less so now, put there hands around there ornate mask and began taking it off. First releasing a small latch then pulling the leather strip out of the strap and finally pulling the mask down from his face. His Advisor looked shocked at the sight, for very few were allowed to see the full face of There Leader. The Leader was smiling an open mouth smile revealing sharp teeth and a scar running down there chin. They chuckled for a last second and then began turning there head over to there Advisor who looked petrified at the sight of there full faced Leader.
"I'm fine Madam it's just what you said confirms my thoughts. This world will be entering a new era. Soon this society will shatter and I will rebuild it from my steel fist." The Leader stated clenching there fist slightly raised in the air.
Lightning crashed against the ground as the leader said that, lighting up there cold eyes in a vibrant purple hew. There smile gleaming with a twisted glee at the revelation. The Advisor took a step back then looked outside to see the rain hitting the window causing a waterfall like look to the window. They cocked t here head around slightly then looked back at there leader, glad at the new information.
"So it appears that UA and this world entirely is gonna be the start of a new odyssey my lord?"
"So it seems Madam, oh how I wait to see the end of it. Advisor prepare my men to be drilled extra hard for now. I have feeling that we are about to enter a new age of war that will shake this world down to the core." The Leader commanded with a chuckle at the end. The Advisor accepted the command and began to leave the room before there leader called out to them without even turning around.
"One more thing Madam, I want our spies to keep a close eye on class 1-A more frequently from now on. Something tells me that those voices and that figure are gonna be a key role in things to come." The Leader said turning there head slightly to get a look at there Advisor.
There eye shinned a darker purple this time and was slightly more dilated as well. The Advisor looking nervous agreed to the plans once more and walked out the room closing the door behind her. The Leader then turning back to looking out the window were the storm seemed to be dying down a little. They would continue starring out the window for the rest of the night planning for the future. This new age odyssey just got a lot more interesting.
