Chapter Twenty
Three hours later…
Megan was rubbing the back of her neck when she recognized one of the men from an old photo from a case.
She smiled.
'Gotcha' She thought as she took out her phone.
Thirty minutes later…
War room
Colby and David entered the room, each wondering what Megan had that she needed them to be there, but they both knew that she must have found something for the case.
"What did you find out Megan?" Colby asked as he and David took their seats.
"I found out that one of our guys is named Casey Morgan, and that led to the other guy, Jay Peters, who is his cousin and they have extensive criminal records." She said before continuing:
"They have gotten in trouble for stalking and blackmail in Iowa several years back and that was only the start, as there are several other towns and cities in the surrounding areas, leading to them serving two years before being released a month ago."
Colby was amazed at Megan, as he didn't know if they were even going to identify them in a short amount of time, but she did it.
"Great work, Megan." David said, echoing Colby's thoughts
"Hey, these guys made it easy for me." Megan said with a smile
"Still, this saves us a lot of trouble and now maybe they can give us a reason as to why they were stalking the Lauers and the Kirkmans." Colby said, though he was beginning to have a few ideas.
These guys were definitely going away for good this time.
