Author's note :I'm pleasantly surprised how much support there is for Brooke moving on. We will meet her guy in this chapter.
Days Later
(You're lover is on the way. Why are you wasting time at work?) Rachel asked.
Brooke smiled shyly. (The things you say. I know he's on the way. I'm looking forward to it.)
(But I have responsibilities. He understands that.) Brooke replied.
(It's why you love me. I keep it honest and funny all at once.) Rachel replied.
(I'm picking him up at the airport later on. We're going to dinner.) Brooke revealed.

(Momma said her friend is nice and fun. She says I'll like him.) Salem explained.
(I'm sure you will. You're mom knows people. She wouldn't share her heart with just anyone.) Lucas replied.
(It's just you're dating Lindsey. And momma has a boyfriend.)
(We're never going to get to be a family now.) (And that makes me sad.) Salem revealed.
Lucas stopped building blocks and looked to his daughter.
(You made us a family. It doesn't matter who comes and goes.)
(The three of us are a package deal.) Lucas reassured her.

Brooke's face broke into a large smile as she saw him walk towards her.
She ran to him. He held her securely and the two kissed passionately.
(Lux I've missed you.) Brooke said.
(Not as much as I've missed you.) He stated matter of fact.
Wrapping his arms around her. As they left the airport together.
Lux Andrews. Had followed in his parents footsteps and was working in the business world.
It required travel and hard work. But there were benefits.
He was from old money. His trust fund kick in at 21.
He was an only child and his parents were tough on his who he hung especially the women he dated but they loved Brooke when they met her.
He had sun kissed eyes. Athletic body. He was close with his parents and wanted kids.
Brooke was sure there was something wrong but they had been together for months and she found nothing.
The two had been apart for awhile given his work.
(You should have ate the appetizers. You know I handle my alcohol better than you.)
(Sleep it off Luke.) Brooke said. Laying him down on the bed in her suite.
(I ruined it. Its all wrong.)
(Say that it's not too late for us.) Lucas said.

( We're soulmates. I should of went after you. Fought for you.) Lucas admitted.
