Chapter 2: Realization (1 hour before the raid begins)

"Now, on your screen should be a folder that is labeled 'Tax Documents'. Put your information in that file and send it to me. In a few minutes, we can get your money back," says an enthusiastic young woman on the phone.

"Oh, thank you, dearie; I was so worried seeing that unregistered charge. Okay, I emailed you the information. Is everything good now, Miss Kyouko? " comes from the voice of an old woman.

"Yes! Thank you so much! We will get this fixed for you right away!" Without waiting for a response, Miss Kyouko ends the call.

"Aye, you got another?" says a man two desks to her right, with a smirk.

"Yeah, the old goat fell for the unauthorized Amazon purchase. Felt like I could've taken more, but I got what I could." The manner and tone of her speaking changed drastically.

Some minutes later, a ping occurs on her computer, showing a wiring of 2,200,000 yen to her account.

Within the next minute, another call comes through with the number of the old lady from before. Miss Kyouko blocks the caller.

"Geez, fuck off; I already drained ya."

The woman to her left, silently staring at her own screen, coughs slightly to gain Kyouko's attention.

Kyouko turns to face the older woman. "Yeah?"

"I believe the Manager wants to speak to you." She motions above to her right. Kyouko, looking up, freezes, seeing the cold, dark stare of her Manager behind her.

Though only Kyouko realizes it now, for the last minute, the room, usually filled with fellow scammers making calls, was unusually quiet.

Walking up to the Manager's side is a man dyed completely black with neon red hair and a savage smile.

The sight of him causes Kyouko's heart to drop, and she hyperventilates.

"Miss Hiko Kyouko… follow me…" The Manager states this quietly. The neon-haired man extends his hand toward Miss. Kyouko, opens his hand, which is revealed to be filled with rusty needles protruding from his palm.

Before Kyouko can resist, the needles penetrate through her neck, pumping in a clear substance, causing her to drop to the floor unconscious within seconds.

The Manager and red-haired man leave with the girl lying on his shoulder. The crowd of workers worked once more as if nothing had occurred. Though, if closely looked at, fear is evident in some of them.

(30 minutes later)

"H-Huh? Where am I?" states a confused Kyouko. She quickly realizes she's strapped to the wall by her front, splayed out.

Looking around, Miss. Hiko Kyouko is currently contained in a 10-by-20-foot rusted metal room. Chains hang from the wall, each attached to a metal machine. With the amount of dried and still wet blood, it's clearly used for interrogation and torture.

Behind her, holding a cat-o'-nine-tails in his hands, is the neon-red-haired man from before.

"Good, now that you are awake, tell us what you told the police." says somebody to her right. Just from her voice, Kyouko can tell it's the Manager.

"What are you talking about? Why would I contact the police? Let me go, please!" yells a panicked Kyouko.

"No." Standing up, the manager approaches the strapped Kyouko.

"Though you might have succeeded for a while, we finally caught you, rat. Stealing private videos and photos from our database." The manager pulls out an image showing her walking out of a room with a bag that she didn't have while entering.

"That bag you had possessed important documentation that someone like you normally wouldn't have access to. Who did you give it to? What else have you done, rat?" The manager's voice rises.

"P-Please… please… I don't know! I don't know!" hollers out a fearful and distressed Kyouko.

"Amnesia, huh? My grandfather had that, you know." She caresses Kyouko's fear-filled, sweating face. "Ran over a high schooler and said he had Alzheimer's as his excuse." The manager pauses. "Of course, I knew better. He never had such a condition."

She tightens her grip, causing a whine of pain. "He, in fact, was texting a woman who he was having an affair with. He was what I would call the definition of a coward."

Smirking, she digs her nails into Kyouko's, penetrating her skin. "That high schooler he killed was my boyfriend." Her mouth turns into a jagged frown.

"Because of his above-average acting, he got away completely scot-free." Her face tenses. "So I went into his home and found him sleeping next to grandma. Sleeping peacefully as if he hadn't ruined the one I loved. So I went downstairs and opened the illegal gun safe that he hides in his basement."

Her furious face dies down as a pink flush sets on her cheeks. She mimics a gun with her other hand. "Approaching him with his trusty shotgun, I laid the barrel to his temple. I still remember in extreme detail his awakening. The way he looked at me with terrified and confused eyes, the way he stammered and begged for his life, I couldn't stand his nonsense and pressed the trigger." Her pleased tone becomes more neutral.

"The euphoria I felt that day still hasn't been triumphed over." The growing pink turns red over time as she continues.

Kyouko's face at this point is covered in sweat. Her eyes are bulging from their sockets, and snot is dribbling down her nose.

"I-I-I don't wanna die... please...I don't wanna die…" whines out Kyouko sobbing throughout it.

The hand grasping Kyouko's face relents. The Manager's face over some time returns to normal.

"Oh, you won't die. That would be a waste of precious information. While I have some problems, I know for a fact that I'm not inefficient with my resources. Just ask Shogun." She waves towards the red-haired man.

The Manager bends forward towards Kyouko. "You'll be getting to know Shogun for quite a while from now on. Think of this place as your own personal five-star hotel. You'll be given three warm meals a day, constant entertainment, and a butler to help you with whatever you need."

Leaning back, the Manager begins to leave the room. Now, for whatever reason you wish to leave, simply tell Shogun, or your butler, rather, the information we desire. Whatever is said in this room is recorded."

"You may start whenever you wish... 'Butler'." states an amused Manager as Shogun gets into proper whipping form with a shit-eating grin.

Passing through the door, she slowly closes it. As she closes, she mocks Kyouko. "Miss Kyouko, please enjoy your stay. I know I will."

The last thing heard through those doors before closing is the hysterical yelling of Kyouko pleading for forgiveness before silence.

Approaching the Manager to her right is a 32-year-old man wearing a security uniform for the building. The most distinguishing trait is his dark green mohawk hair and pointed sideburns.

"What's the plan?"

The Manager shifts her eyes to the right, staring directly at him for a few seconds, causing the man to flinch in fear.

"The 'plan', Nobu, is to alert the boss… Garaki needs to be informed as well. The mission is a bust; expect a raid any day, even today. Have all workers start the 'clean up' operation. I will set defenses. We can't move all this equipment fast enough, so we burn what we can," says the Manager.

After the statement, the Manager walks down the rusty metal hallway. Connected to this hallway are many rooms with doors similar to the one Kyouko lives in. If someone were to have a hearing quirk, most likely all they would hear was a mixture of voices crying in anguish.

(30 minutes later)

Making a left, the front police car driver can see the targeted building in sight. Noticeably, smoke and fire are erupting from the building.

The messy sound of wheels running on mud can be heard all around because of the weather. Heavy rain batters against the hoods of the vehicles.

The driver pulls out a communication device that is linked to everyone's state-commissioned earpiece.

"We are approaching the nameless 'Tech Support' building. It appears their main gate is locked, and their place is on fire. Most likely, they have discovered the raid. The raid will continue as planned. Be careful."

The officer breathes deeply before continuing. "If in need of help, you can tap the earpiece five times; if encountering a villain, tap 4, and in the event of a hero's death, tap three."

"The mics you're supplied with are to be used only if the event is too complicated to describe with the tapping," says the policewoman to the driver's left.

The vehicles all stop at the gated entrance of the building.

"Also, wai-" Whatever the police driver was going to say gets cut off as the front police car gets flung off the road by an invisible force and is flung at a tree, causing it to crumple against it. Blood pours out of the vehicle.

"Dammit, I'm taking control now. We're disembarking now. Go!" yells one of the other high-ranking police officers.

At a fast pace, all police officers leave their cars, as if this is a common occurrence for them.

All fifteen heroes and one policewoman hurry to escape their vans. Because of some complications, they take longer. Seconds after they do, a green outline can be seen around all four, causing all to be flung in different heroes' directions.

Rock-Lock stops the motion of one of the four vans with his quirk, 'Lock-Down'.

Crimson Riot runs in front of another, hardening himself. He causes the vehicle to stop upon impact.

The last two head towards Clair Voyance and 'Number 6'. Within a blink of an eye, 'Number 6' moves Clair out of the way, causing both to fly past them.

The one who now has control of this operation breathes deeply. "As now your commander of this operation, my name is Hisaki Hinata. All pre-assigned teams continue as planned. Police forces will set a perimeter, and Minako will continue to assist Team 2."

Sounds of crunching metal come from above, as one of the two helicopters has a green outline. Soon the helicopter pushes into itself, causing the people inside to yell in fear. Sadly, only one can jump out of the helicopter in time.

When the outline disappears, the ball of metal drops from the sky, hitting the ground with a loud thud. Blood is gushing out of its openings.

All the heroes charge into the building, readying their separate quirks.

Staring at 20 screens showing live feeds from cameras put around the building is Nobu, the 32-year-old security guard the Manager was speaking to earlier.

Speaking of a communication device in his hands, he reports what's being shown.

"The heroes are charging the building; Marny fucked up the attack; none of the heroes died."

With a flick, the man changes the communication channel.

"Find Garaki and have him activate the subject. We're going to need her to win this."

A mix of audio sounds erupts from the device until a younger man's voice is heard.

"The awakening process hasn't gotten faster than 10-minutes; give us the needed time and it'll be done."

Another flicking sound is heard before the security man speaks again. "The heroes will breach the building, stacking on entry points D7, G8, and B2. Rikiya Eno and Daigo, protect entries D7 and G8, respectively. Go wild."

Turning off the device, Nobu turns around and grabs a bag filled with USB sticks. Stuffing it into his man-purse, he hurryingly heads towards the underground science lab where Garaki was last seen.

The journey through the seemingly endless halls and stairs takes around three minutes. At first, he walks at a brief pace, gradually increasing his speed with his quirk as the sounds above keep growing ever closer. Yells for help come from his device, most likely from fellow villains.

Gulping, Nobu continues, knowing full well that the heroes are keeping pace with him for now.

By the time Nobu approaches the science lab's door, he has taken a pause. Spread across the entrance are heaps of fresh blood.

Walking cautiously, he pulls out a keycard and swipes it over the card reader, allowing the door to open. Peering inside, he sees a fight occurring between 12 people, all residency scientists.

The scene is brutal, even when darkened by the deadlights. While twelve are currently fighting savagely, there are evidently over 20 corpses of other scientists lying around the room. Pieces of glass and metal were stabbed into them. Long pieces of meat seem to protrude from their mouths, covered in teeth.

Quickly, a toxic sweet smell enters Nobu's nose, causing him to gag and stumble out of the room, leaving with him a mass of sickly sweet violet gas dispersing into the hall.

Nobu hunches over, shaking violently as he grasps for his throat and starts tearing up.

Though unseen by Nobu, a massive red rash grows on his Adam's apple, approximately 5 by 8 inches. The middle of the rash grows a vile black with a speck of green as the rash seems to continue to grow.

His veins, starting in that area, change to a similar color.

The discoloration continues to grow till it reaches his brain; upon this, his brain stops, frozen. Many seconds pass before he twitches.

Crunching and cracking sounds erupt from his body as bones can be seen protruding and receding through his skin.

This process continues for the next minute, during which he appears normal from behind, except for the bumps coming in and out of his spinal area. Nobu turns around and goes back to the hallway he came from. His face is now completely malformed, with the skin dragging downward, appearing as if he has no cartilage in his face. The thing runs down the hallway, speed quirk activated.

Down the hallway, there appears to be a fellow villain. Seeing the thing, the man shouts something before confusion overtakes him because of Nobu's appearance.

Using his quirk to full effect, Nobu dashes into the villain, grasping onto the villain's face with his now-enlarged jagged claws, smiling viciously.

Terrified, the villain sees Nobus' face and notices the absence of teeth and tongue. In its place is a wide hole filled with circular, razor-sharp teeth leading into a murky black abyss inside.

Nobu inhumanly unhinges his jaw, shoving the villain's head in. It's shredded to paste.

Upon finishing, the thing in Nobu's skin hears the click of a gun to his left.

Looking there, it sees the sacred face of one scientist in the hallway, seemingly not affected by the violet gas yet. With brown hair and a tattoo on his left cheek, sweat goes down his brows and tears emerge in his eyes.

With a savage expression, the thing jolts at the scientist. A sick sense of pleasure and rage pulses through its body as it fulfills its desire to kill and feed.

Bashing through another pair of rusty doors, Crimson Riot yells out in frustration.

"How close are we?" Crimson commandingly says too Clair Voyance whose' eyes are a bright red, signifying her quirk 'Voyance' activated.

"At our pace, three minutes. He's moving faster than expected," Clair pauses. "Make it five; we've got villains ahead."

At the end of the hallway labeled G8 are six people, each facing the heroes with a variety of expressions, from fear to savage glee.

One step ahead, the rest towards the four heroes. It's the one with the gleeful expression.

Crossing his arms, his skin becomes purple, and raging muscles burst from him, increasing his overall size.

Crimson turns to Clair. "Are any of them in the database?"

Clair nods in response. "The purple one's name is Daigo. His quirk turns him into a purple gorilla, though honestly, it looks more like an ogre. The rest I can't tell you; I have no clue."

One of the two other heroes advances towards the six in a dash. "They're fodder; just rush em!"

With the activation of his quirk, a thick orange aura forms around his fists. When reaching Daigo, he extends forward and throws a hard right at his muscled chest.

Instead of dodging, Daigo willingly stands and takes the punch to show no effect, surprising the hero. Continuing his barrage, he throws six more into different parts of Daigo's body. Still, nothing appears to be affecting the beast.

Raising both arms, Daigo slams his fists into the hero's extended back, causing a snapping sound from the hero. The hero, now on the ground while still conscious, is twitching in pain. The beast swings downward, but before he can continue, he's pushed back three feet. Blasted by high-pressure water, the beast growls as it burns his skin.

The other unnamed hero, wearing a light blue aquatic uniform, has his hand raised towards the beast. Turning his arm to the left, he fires another blast of water at two other villains, though because of their lesser durability, it causes much more damage. Both get flung into the wall and are bleeding through their clothes, which are ripped through.

The other three charge the heroes, each activating their respective quirks. One grows three feet in height to a total of nine, another's eyes glow burning red, and the last one's mouth unhinges, showing a black void.

Reacting to this, Crimson meets them midway, along with Clair. Crimson hardens his body, causing his skin to gain a jagged rock-like appearance but with the color of his own skin.

The water-shooting hero continues blasting Daigo to keep him at bay.

Clair's eyes continue to glow a similar red to the villain's. In her own perspective, she's now able to see through the villains, walls, and floors further down. Despite charging into combat, she continues to track their ever-moving target.

The now taller villain targets Crimson. Turning from right to left and leaning back, he extends his leg, moving it around to hit Crimson's head.

Ducking, Crimson bends his knees and tackles the villain to the ground. Straddling the villain, he wails on his face until twin red lasers burn into his armored self, causing second-degree burns. This momentary distraction allows the tall villain to use his body to wrestle Crimson to his side.

Grabbing her laser pistol, Clair aims at the red-layering villain and fires two blasts directly into her eyes, causing her to deactivate her quirk. Crying in pain, she holds her eyes.

Running to the blind villain, she uppercuts her chin. Not done with her yet, she grabs the villain's arm, using it as a pivot. She yanks down the villain. Slamming her face first to the metal floor, the sound of a broken nose and a cry are heard.

The water-based hero fires a blast at the third, only to see it be consumed in the void of his mouth. Aiming at a different part of the body, a mouth filled with void appears there to devour the water again. Unexpectedly, each mouth fires out a similar blast of water at the hero, only stopped by Crimson Riot appearing at the last second, done with his last encounter.

Looking over, it's seen that the tall villain is knocked out cold with fist imprints plastered all over his head.

Clair fires another two blasts at the two villains at the wall, only to be interrupted by Daigo quickly appearing to her right. Swinging his arm like a club, he bashes Clair to the ground, only to be interrupted again by high-pressure water blasts.

Crimson charges the multi-mouthed man, throwing punch after punch to his joints, stunning the man. Crimson finishes with a haymaker, knocking him to the ground. Turning to Daigo, he runs at him with his arms crossed over his chest.

Turning his attention to Crimson, Daigo, with a boost of extra speed, dashes towards him. Spreading out his massive arms when within range, he slams them together with Crimson's body in the middle.

Before Daigo's arms slam into both his sides, Crimson shifts his arms to cover the brunt of both attacks.

Upon impact, the sound of cracks can be heard from Crimson as his arms appear like broken glass, with blood spouting out occasionally. Though injured, he loops his arms around Daigo, a firm grasp upon each appendage. This keeps Daigo bound to him, no matter how much he pulls away.

Finally, standing up is the fourth hero. Turning to Daigo, he covers his fists again in the orange aura. It spirals as a drill would. He dashes towards Daigo's undefended back and starts throwing punches. Seconds pass as he continues his barrage, his orange aura glowing brighter after each strike. Fifteen strikes in bruises form, and upon the fiftieth Daigos skin turns a sickly black and blood spurts.

The barrage of fists shifts both Crimson and Daigo backward as they struggle.

Before he throws his hundredth punch, the orange aura turns a bright red, sparking off yellow electricity and aiming for the center of his back. He swings. Upon contact, the water-based hero fires a blast of water directly into Daigos' face, pushing him into the fist.

The combination of water and electricity fries Daigo as he shakes uncontrollably, and after some seconds, he goes limp in Crimson's arms, prompting Crimson to drop him to the ground.

Panting heavily, Crimson looks around. Seeing all six villains either unconscious or groaning in pain on the ground, he sighs. "Next time, Mc'King, wait for us." The fist-based hero rubs the back of his head sheepishly. "Sorry, I thought it would've flinched at least. My first punch, though my weakest, should still knock out a grown man."

Over the next minute, all four heroes apprehended the six villains, trapping them in heavy binds.

"I'll alert Hinata and stay back to watch them. Hopefully, you guys can meet with Team 2," states the water-quirked hero.

Nodding, Crimson, along with Mc'King and Clair Voyance, continue down the hall.

(3 minutes before Nobu's arrival)

Twenty scientists are gathering documents and vials of 'Violet' until the main doors open, showing a furious Garaki.

"Who started the release sequence? I strictly said to never do so!" yells the furious Garaki, eyes bulging with red veins.

Nineteen of the scientists are all quiet, each too scared to talk back. The other one left stands up, back straight, staring Garaki straight in the eyes. "I did."

Garaki turns to look at the man, who is brown-haired and dressed in the same uniform as the others. What stands out the most is his tattoo strung across his left cheek. It shows three parallel waves, with the sun rising from the top one.

"Of course it was you... you always hated me, didn't you? Never liked that I was the one who created serenity... that you were the student. I see…" Doctor Kyudai Garaki speaks slowly in a low-pitched voice.

The man speaks in response, "I honestly don't give a shit what you think; without her help, we're fucked. I'll put my life over your priorities any day, crazed old fuck." The man walks away to continue collecting documents.

Upon Garaki not responding for some time, the scientists started quietly agreeing and continued what they were doing. If anyone were to listen closely, they would realize he was speaking the whole time, saying only three words: "Traitors…Frauds…Sinners."

Doctor Garaki appears to be staying silent. He leaves the door and doesn't return for one minute. When he returns, it is with a white football-sized gadget in his arms.

Speaking loudly, the others can now hear him: "Traitors… Frauds… Burn to it, burn to the passion, burn to the desire of yourselves."

The same man approaches Garaki with a furious expression, grasping the front of Doctor Garakis' coat and yanking him up to his face, causing the gadget to drop to the floor and cause it to glow slightly red.

"Shut up, shut the fuckup. You immature bastard pisses me off; what the fuck's wrong with you?!" He shakes Garaki who's now mumbling silently.

"Ever since I worked here, I've regretted not leaving! All I hear from you is this fucked delusion of 'cleansing' the world! You're a delusional old man!" He roughly drops Garaki to the floor. He leaves the room, going down the hall with a pistol, the safety on holstered to his hip.

30 seconds pass as all the scientists are quiet, standing there, not sure what to do. Wobbling, Garakis stands up sluggishly. Slowly picking up the white football-sized gadget, he presses some buttons on its side.

"You will not take her... My serenity... my life." Garaki raises the gadget in the air as vials of violet liquid pop out of it. "I'LL DIE BEFORE YOU TAKE MY SERENITY!" Garaki screams as he smashes the gadget to the ground, causing the vials to break. Upon contact with air, it becomes an immediate gas.

Before he can breathe it in, a black void appears behind Doctor Kyudai Garaki, and with it, an arm similar to the one on the videotape twenty years ago. Dragging Garaki through the portal, it closes before anyone can react.

Silence fills the room once more, and many are confused. Unconsciously breathing in the gas, they react similarly to Nobu.

Within twenty seconds, it was chaos, with bodies strewn everywhere as each scientist could only feel the savage desire to kill and feed.

On one of the operational computers, shown on the screen, is the figure of a person with a timer to the upper right displaying 00:07:10.

Soon after, the sound of a door opening can be heard.

The room is dingy, and purple light emanates through all of its walls. Garaki, on the floor, prone, scrambles around for his glasses, which fell off.

"W-Why... why would..." he says to the man who 'saved' him after retrieving him.

The man motioned for him to stop. He's a tall man wearing a business suit. Probably the most important part is that he has no eyes or nose.

"Doctor Kyudai Garaki…" Upon hearing his name, he feels a shiver.

"What are you doing?" asks the man, which confuses Garaki. "What?" he responds.

"I asked you, what are you doing? The plan was to create the prototype, experiment with it, and improve it with new ones. Why are you still focusing on the prototype?" He walks away, going through the door. He motions to Garaki to follow. Garaki stands slowly and shakily, slowly wobbling through the door, only to pause at what he sees.

He appears before a hallway filled with past creations who would be considered failures by the man speaking.

Garaki's eyes widen and begin to tremble. Raising his shaking hand, he grabs it with his other hand to stop it.

"Garaki… As your biggest supporter, it's on me to put you on the right track, and that starts with the abandonment of the prototype." says the eyeless man, turning to look down the hall with the past's still-living creations.

Garaki starts to slightly hunch over and shakes ever more. "N-No," he stutters, filled with anxiety.

The eyeless man turns to face Garaki. "No? Are you forgetting where you came from?" He approaches Garaki and stares down at him with his imposing figure. "If it wasn't for me, you'd be rotting in Tartarus Garaki, begging for the cleansing but never able to fulfill that dream... I can help you, but only if you help me.

"Abandoning the prototype, you'll be tasked with finishing the High-End projects. You're lucky I could secure the lives of all the Nomu here, even after you abandoned them."

He grabs Garaki and drags him to one of the many pods containing these so-called 'Nomu'. Lifting him up with ease, he brings him face-to-face with its sleeping face. Though it's hard to tell, as its father, Garaki, can see, it's having a pleasant dream—the scrunched-up, tense face proves it.

The creature is humanoid, with dark navy blue skin paired with a heavy, muscular structure. The mouth resembles a chicken's beak, though the most unsettling part is the exposed brain on top, with no skull or covering.

"How do you think they feel, Garaki? Your own children abandoned... for the newer one; you must have never loved them back…" The man states with seemingly a genuine sad tone, yet by experienced actors, it's obviously fake.

Garaki stares at his creation. He remembers the day he made him, how small he was, how he begged Garaki to stop, and how he missed his mommy. A passion grows through Garaki's body, causing him to remember each of his 'children'. They screamed for help, begging and crying until all went silent. They never spoke again after the operations, the children he always wanted.

"Serenity…" Garaki says on instinct.

The man sighs, "We will make a new one, one even better than her... You will achieve your desires, Garaki. You just need to listen to me." Turning to him, he uses his quirk to soothe Garaki's mind. Garaki, throughout this, realizes what's happening and resists; he thrashes against the man but can't do anything because of his strength. Slowly, Garaki feels his head mentally fracture, slowly exposing himself to the man; his memories, though, slowly start changing.

While at first most of Garakis' thoughts contained serenity—the cure, the one who... he doesn't remember serenity anymore. All he knows is his 'Nomu'. Garaki slowly controls himself and stares at the man. Garaki, who now has a clear head, slightly nods in thanks.

"W-What happened? I..." the man motions for him to stop speaking.

"You had another episode, Doctor Garaki. You were about to explain to me your plans involving the High-Ends." The man turns and walks down the long hallway. Garaki instinctively follows him.

"Y-Yes, I uh…" Doctor Garaki stumbles through his words, confused: "I sadly don't remember what I was planning... I will get them done soon. All for One! I just need some time!" He stumbles forward, trying to match pace with the man.

Though never noticed by Garaki, far behind him was a man, one whose body he had experimented on beforehand, way before Serenity. Remembering his master's orders, he grumbles at the thought of doing them. He stares at Garaki with both pity and anger, his wispy purple and black body responding to these emotions. Calming himself, he walks in the opposite direction to not disturb the master and to start the long mission awaiting him.

Painting heavily, Marie Antoinette holds a bleeding wound. Behind a half-destroyed wall, she peeks over. An enlarged, muscular Franky is duking it out with a monstrosity of a man, over triple his height and double his width. The villain appears to be a gigantic cartoon grizzly bear. Franky is evidently worn out, with bruises forming across his entire body.

Turning to the left, she sees Rock-Lock and Monika duking it out with four other villains, who, though holding themselves, will need support soon.

The injury she's currently suffering from is due to her quirk usage on that cartoonish bear monstrosity, who seemingly wasn't affected. Thinking about it, she changed targets.

She turns to a villain who is currently kicking Monika repeatedly as she tries to incapacitate her. Marie sings toward the villain. The line-less song sounds raw, real, and enticing. Unheard by all else, the villain stops mid-kick. Lowering his leg, he turns to Marie, his face stuck in the position of ecstatic pleasure. Slowly, he walks towards Marie with his right hand reaching out, opening and closing, his cheeks flushing up and shaking out of enticement.

Continuing her singing, the tone turns darker, a chorus of envy and depression. Her arms beckon him closer as she approaches him as well. When within reach, she grapes both sides of his head. Tilting it to the right, she razors out a screech, the decibels so high they rupture his eardrums and knock him unconscious.

Turning to the Rock-Lock it appears he has locked one in place with a piece of wall. Marie sings to the other, a similar song creating a similar reaction with the same result.

Everything seems to go well until a large piece of metal gets chucked into Marie's side, launching her across the hall with blood spraying out. Upon rough contact with the floor, she yells out in pain.

Rock-Lock turns in the direction from which it came. Franky is now on the ground, pinned by the bear as its arm is extended in a throwing position towards Marie. The bear uses the same arm to roughly smash its fist into Franky's face, causing his eyes to roll back.

"F-Fuck, Rock-Lock…" He hears that to his left, there is Monika sitting on the ground with the last villain pointing a Smith & Wesson SD40 at her head.

Heavily breathing, the man savagely grins and asks, "How does it feel, hero?" He motions the barrel of the gun closer to Monika's head, causing her to grunt in worry. Looking further down, it appears her hands are covered in concrete blocks.

Rock-Lock stands still, unsure what to do, with Franky unconscious, Marie in an unknown injured state, and Maniko captured. There's not much he can do.

The bear rises and starts slowly approaching Rock-Lock with a cruel look in his eyes, his fists covered in Franky's blood.

Sighing, Rock-Lock readies himself. Though he can't save everyone here, he will save as much as possible.

The bear bends his knees and shoots out towards Rock-Lock, his left fist swinging, the fist bigger than Rock-Lock's upper body.

Grabbing a disk on his waist, he throws it to the side and leaps; mid-air, the disk stops in place, acting as a platform for Rock-Lock to land on. Upon landing, he pivots and jumps, spinning to allow himself to grab the floating disk in midair. He lands roughly on top of the bear, causing it to toss and turn to get him off.

The bear-villain roars in anger after failing and starts running backwards. Within seconds, he slams his back onto the rusty metal walls, causing it to roar in pain. The sound of a roaring train occurs right during the wall slam. Pulling itself out, it notices the wall is now jagged with metal poles, points dripping with its blood, and Rock-Lock nowhere to be found.

Turning back, he sees a new face—a woman with a purple visor and a white uniform. She appears to throw rubble at the bear. After some seconds, they fall to the ground, and with nothing happening, the bear charges towards the hero.

The rubble, now floating, appears from all sides of the bear. Originally small, they have drastically increased in size. The sound of a clap is heard from the heroine, and the bear feels pain as all objects now sharply shoot into the bear, embedding themselves. With all objects targeting the joints, the bear collapses and groans as his transformation slowly goes away, revealing a chubby, naked, red-haired man.

The sound of a pistol goes off, only to be complimented by the sound of a bullet train. Looking at where Monika was, now just air, the villain stares at the ground, bewildered. A sound of a train passes him once again, causing him to look around, only for a boot to be launched into his face.

Being launched back, he slams into the metal wall at an insane speed, causing permanent damage to his spine and disfigurement to his face.

Appearing near the down and luckily conscious Marie is 'Number 6', smirking at the down heroine. "Geez, doll, I thought you were better than this with your high attitude. Couldn't even handle the weak ones, aye?" Marie stares at him in annoyance but gives a nod in thanks.

Walking into the room is Gang Orca, with one other hero by his side. "Luckily, we came just in time." Looking at Franky, he frowns and says, "I'm sorry we couldn't get here quicker. It might be for the best if you all headed back to get fixed up. 'Number 6', get Franky and Marie back to base. When you are done bringing them back, find Team 1. Their coms have been silent for too long." Right at his statement, 'Number 6', vanishes along with Marie and Franky.

He motions towards Rock-Lock now to his left and Monika, whose concrete cuffs have been broken off, saying, "You two will join us and continue the operation. We have located the Vial containment zone because of a map here, and we wil-." A loud wail interrupts the rest, coming down the hallway.

Confusion erupts from the group, and Gang Orca, looking down the hall, prepares himself to see another villain appear.

The villain slowly walks into the main hall with light, unhealthy skin. It has a green mohawk and sideburns, which seem to be falling out as he wails down the hall. Though it takes Orca some time, his eyes narrow as he sees the blood dripping out of its mouth. Seconds later, a chunk of meat drops to the floor, originally dangling from the orifice.

Walking forward past the other four heroes, he again readies himself, wanting to be what stops it from getting to the heroes and unconscious villains in the back.

The other heroes stare in bewilderment at the villain, who, though unsure at first, exudes an aura of savagery.

What happens next gives all the heroes a shock.

Appearing behind them all from the other end of the hallway, another villain appears. It isn't until they get closer that all five heroes pause, looking at its features. It's one they all know, with a blue aquatic outfit and now a similar facial look to the other villain. What was originally the water-based hero from before wails as well towards the heroes.

Both things instinctively look at the five with a pure, raw look in their eyes filled with desire.

Moving in a mixture of two and four limbs, they charge widely at the five with their mouths unhinged, showing off the shredding orifices.

All five heroes prepare their quirks, stone-faced. As the beasts get closer, it's seen that Monika, with fear-filled eyes, sheds a single tear.
