Kazuya was not a dangerous person. She was working on a statue that looked like a dragon devoured the sun. "Kazuya, what are you doing?" She looked at her mother-in-law with annoyance. "A dragon devouring the sun to gain eternal life is my last commission, and I'm done now." She stepped away from it. "Yes, you received a call from Republic City." She looked at her removing the goggles. "What happened, is grandma Zaya ok?" Suyin fell silent and answered. "Your brother is in a coma." Kazuya froze up with a look of horror. "Oh no, no Nono!" Suyin held her arm as her legs felt weak. "I told him I wouldn't care if he died." She started tearing up.
Suying stroked her hair as Kazuya cried into her chest. "I know, Let it out dear. I told my sister some horrible things too. I hope Lin and I can fix everything." Kazuya sniffed and started to calm down. "Did anyone say how he got into a coma?" She answered. "Yes, Zaya said he survived an assassination attempt." Kazuya nodded with a little eye twitch. "Did they arrest the one who tried to kill my brother?" Suyin cringed. "He killed the one who tried to kill him, by burning the assassin alive, Your grandmother didn't leave any detail." She then Burst out laughing. "Oh, that's so like him! He would steal his opponent's fire and use it against them!" She took a few breaths. "That means he's fine. He's like dad made different and.. and I miss him. I should visit him sometime." Suying watched as she wiped away a few tears. "How about I come with you, make it girls' day out and can we bring Opal." She pulled Suyin into a hug.
Kazuya sat at her work space making marble. "How are you?" Kazuya stayed silent. "I know that there's something bothering you." He stepped behind and rubbed her shoulders. "Since when can you read me like a book?" He looked at the finished marble. "Because you keep making black holes, you're trapped in a void and the darkness is swallowing you." He explained looking at her art. "I heard what happened to your brother, I can't say I can relate with my brothers." She interrupted him. "The twins are too blinded by creating new sports rather than spreading them and Baatar jr stifles himself by following rather than making his own path." She chuckled as did he. "Only a year of marriage and I'm already predictable?" She turned to him and he held her chin gently. "You're never predictable, you're a genius ahead of your time hidden in a world of stone where gems are thrown away for coal." He wrapped his arms around her. "No gem can match the beauty of your marbles Kazuya." She picked up one of her favorite lotus in glass, never wilting. "How about we get to bed?" They didn't reach the bed.
