The Doctor's time is ending. He opens the Tardis doors and walks in with difficulty. He collapses into a chair as his legs begin to fail and die. As his vision blurs, he spots the scanner light up on the Tardis console. On display was the universe in all of it's beauty and wonder and cruelty. All the new planets and creatures and horizons that he had never seen before…and all that he would never get to see.

The Doctor's breathing quickens as his body starts glowing brighter and brighter.

It wasn't fair. There was so much he never got to see and feel and experience. He could have done so much more and even after the vast adventures, the endless lives he's saved, the invaluable friends he loved, after everything he's done-

"I don't want to go"

The light dies down as the Doctor lowers his head in sorrow.

Without any warning the crimson energy blazes out from the doctor's body and strikes the Tardis's features. The vengeful inferno travels around the room obliterating anything in its path without any care or compassion. The coral pillars are reduced to rubble and the glass shatters from the pressure of the light. The energy lashes out in crazed devastating spikes mourning the man who lost his life, resenting the man who would take it. Gradually the body in the eye of the inferno was restored and repaired and a young voice screams through the chaos of his own creation and destruction.

"Legs! I've still got legs!"
