Volume 1, Chapter 2: Preparation...
Prologue
Primis Treasury, unknown location in Regnum Dei...
After three days had passed, everyone had submitted their reports to Pandora. In their reports, they listed all of the personnel they would be bringing with them, including personal secretaries, fighters who could engage in close-quarters and long-range combat, individuals skilled in stealth reconnaissance, and people who could cross enemy lines to infiltrate enemy positions and sabotage necessary targets from the inside.
There were no information gaps. Each and every piece of equipment, including specially crafted close- and long-range weapons, armor, ammunition for every conceivable circumstance, medications for minor and major injuries, and special items, including backup and ration supplies for everyone for the duration of the campaign, was also included in the report.
In order to allocate everyone to different positions based on their strengths, Pandora considered creating a chain of command. From those who are dispatched into the field for data collection, direct confrontation, assassination, and diplomatic connection development.
The leaders of their separate roles and teams will undoubtedly be each Supreme Being's children, as they possess the necessary skills and abilities inherited from their divine parents. This hierarchical structure will ensure efficient coordination and maximize the chances of success for each mission.
Pandora plans to provide specialized training to enhance the capabilities of each team member, further increasing their effectiveness in fulfilling their assigned tasks.
For the purpose of discussing the line of command and allocating each person to the position that best suits them, he sent word to summon everyone to the Treasury.
He had the strangest feeling that the upcoming meeting would be extremely taxing on his mental state, possibly even psychologically damaging, given some of the more obnoxious, insufferable, or downright annoying attendees—some of whom he had the misfortune to call his cousins—although there were some of them he liked because they were actually taking things seriously and had valuable insights to contribute.
As he walked around the Treasury, he couldn't help but hope that the productive and dedicated individuals would outnumber the troublesome ones, making the meeting more bearable and fruitful. He made an effort to restrain his thoughts and avoid making biased assumptions. Still, he couldn't help but guess how the meeting would go given the loud yelling, heated arguments, and clear disregard for their fellow attendees that they displayed.
'Our mission will greatly benefit from this conference. To assign each person to their function and provide them with the teams they must lead, we must have a defined organizational structure. That would imply a vice leader, and I'm considering Albedo or Aureole. As they are both capable leaders with proven track records of success in their respective departments. Additionally, their ability to remain calm and composed under pressure will be crucial in managing the potential conflicts that may arise during the conference. Ultimately, the decision should be based on their qualifications and experience rather than personal preferences or biases. Albedo has the advantage when it comes to administration, making her ideal for a second in command. Aureole, on the other hand, while she is undoubtedly a capable leader, is best suited for reconnaissance. With her skills in scrying, we could unravel much more in less time. Albedo is then the person who should be chosen as the second in command for managing potential conflicts during the conference. Her strong administrative skills will ensure efficient coordination and smooth execution of tasks. Additionally, Albedo's experience in handling complex situations will be invaluable in resolving any conflicts that may arise, allowing the conference to proceed successfully.'
'Demiurge and Entoma could be defense commanders for sure. Demiurge is a cunning gentleman; his mind could develop a way out of any tricky situation in a minute. He also commands a large army of demons of all kinds and strength; their sheer numbers alone could deter any group that tries to attack us, which in itself makes him a highly valuable individual. Entoma herself has the same capabilities as Demiurge, though she is less strategic when it comes to her way of thinking. She would nonetheless help us strengthen Nazarick, therefore increasing our chances of successfully defending Nazarick. Yes, they would be the ideal candidate. In addition to their individual strengths, Demiurge and Entoma possess unique abilities that complement each other perfectly. Demiurge's strategic thinking and leadership skills would greatly enhance our defensive strategies, while Entoma's exceptional combat abilities would provide a formidable line of defense against any potential threats. With their combined powers, we can ensure the safety and prosperity of Nazarick like never before.'
'Now, Cocytus loves combat. He has the most experience when it comes to direct confrontation. He could perfectly lead our army to victory once we established ourselves in that world. He could get the assignment of field marshal. Additionally, Cocytus's tactical prowess and ability to adapt to different battle scenarios make him an ideal candidate for the role of field marshal. His leadership skills and strategic thinking would undoubtedly contribute to our success in establishing dominance in the new world. With Entoma's combat abilities and Cocytus's expertise, our forces would be unstoppable, ensuring a swift and decisive victory.'
'Nigredo may function as the head of special intelligence. Her abilities in reconnaissance rivaled Aureole's. Yes. I think they would accept the position given her exceptional skills in gathering information and analyzing data. Additionally, her experience in covert operations would greatly enhance our ability to gather intelligence and stay one step ahead of our enemies. With Nigredo leading our special intelligence division, we can be confident in our ability to make informed decisions and outmaneuver any opposition. So that only leaves the...' At that thought, Pandora was cringing, just thinking about them disrupting his blood flow.
'The Black Ops Head may be taken by Shalltear and Solution, and maybe CZ could help too. I almost feel bad for them; that's the only thing they excel at.' *COUGH COUGH*'Nevermind. On second thought, I don't feel bad; I won't. It doesn't matter if they're my cousins. If that's the only thing they could do, then contribute in those fields they shall.' Pandora contemplated the potential success of Shalltear, Solution, and CZ in taking over the Black Ops head position. Despite their limited abilities, Pandora acknowledged that they could still contribute in their respective fields. However, he couldn't help but feel a twinge of concern for the potential consequences of their involvement.
'Narberal and I will then take charge of the field agents. Our job will be to infiltrate the mortal's settlement and gather any relevant intel on these descendants.' Pandora knew that Narberal and himself were skilled enough to handle the task of infiltrating the mortal's settlement. However, he couldn't shake off the worry that their involvement might attract unwanted attention or jeopardize their ultimate objective. Nevertheless, Pandora remained confident in their abilities and believed that with careful planning, they could successfully gather valuable information on the descendants without raising suspicion.
'Finally, someone to manage diplomacy; perhaps Sebas and Yuri; they are ideal for the job. Lupus regina could help them as well. Her overly friendly nature may ease the locals, endeavors. Perhaps I'll send in Victim as well.' Walking back and forth in the Treasury, Pandora pondered.
'Always think of every possibility that will happen. Prepare for everything and get caught off guard. Consider the opinions of others. They may see something you do not; as the old saying goes, two minds are better than one.' Those were the words of his father. Those words keep repeating in his head.
'No. The father is right. Just because I'm the leader doesn't mean I shouldn't listen to their opinions.' Pandora thought to himself. Having decided it would be best for everyone to discuss it together, he called for one of his daily assistants to call for everyone.
"Aya. Come here for a moment, my dear." Pandora called for Aya, his assistant scheduled for every Wednesday.
Aya is a young high elf and a recent graduate of Regnum Dei's most prestigious Advanced Study Academy, the I.A.S.R. She applied for a job in the Majestic Library but was recommended to try her luck for the position of Assistant Treasury Guardian by a friend who worked in the Treasury Department.
Intrigued by the opportunity to work closely with Pandora and gain valuable experience, Aya eagerly accepted the recommendation and started her new role with enthusiasm. She started working at the Treasury just a little over five months ago.
She broke the record for the "Most Mistake Made in the First Week" by a landslide when she misplaced almost an entire rack of historical artifacts scheduled for maintenance that day, numbering an amazing and "so unbelieveable you had to see it yourself" 16.379 artifacts. She still has a long way to go, but she has improved a lot since her first day.
"Coming, Sir." Aya said, stopping her current task to label every trophy delivered just a few hours ago from planet Thesant by the Liches under Captain Gla's order.
Aya had learned her lesson from the mishap in her first week and was now extra careful with the valuable artifacts. Despite the challenging workload, she remained focused and determined to excel in her role.
"Good. Listen, I need you to go to each residence of my relatives and have them come here for a little conference regarding our upcoming mission." Pandora said to Aya
"Did I make any mistakes today, sir? Is that why you're sending me out?" Aya asked with almost teary eyes.
"Dear Gods, no.. No no no no.. Those days have passed; you've improved so much since then. No, I just need all of them here; it's kind of classified, so I'm sorry I can't tell you anything else." Pandora explained to Aya, nodding to his explanation.
Aya's teary eyes began to glisten with relief as she realized that her past mistakes were not the reason for her assignment. She trusted Pandora's judgment and knew that whatever the upcoming mission entailed, it was important enough to require the presence of his relatives.
"Then why not just use the communication channel, sir?" Aya asked, wondering why Pandora didn't use it.
"I thought of it just a while back, but knowing them, they won't even realize their messenger is ringing. What they need is a kick to the front door and the message delivered right to their ears." Pandora said, finding his own explanation hilarious.
Aya nodded, understanding Pandora's reasoning. She knew that his relatives could be quite oblivious at times, and a direct, in-person approach would ensure the message was received loud and clear. Plus, it added an element of surprise that might make the mission even more effective.
"No, just ask them nicely. And don't say anything else except that it's urgent and important. That'll be all."
"I understand, sir. I will be back momentarily." Aya said before activating her ring, teleporting her to her destinations. As Pandora watched Aya disappear, he couldn't help but feel a surge of confidence in her decision. He knew that Aya's persuasive skills, combined with the element of surprise, would surely make their message impossible to ignore.
Intro song:
Hayloft II (SMASHUP) by Mother Mother
It only took a while for everyone to arrive at the Treasury. A place none of them have ever visited. They were in awe of the amount of wealth their realm actually possessed, to the point of dropping their jaws completely and stopping dead in their tracks.
Precious metals of all kinds, grades, rarities, and worth, from weapons and armors of different qualities to historically important objects, were just scattered everywhere as if they were worth nothing, which is clearly not the case considering they are some of the rarest and most valuable highly sought items they ever knew, which could easily fetch a ridiculous amount of wealth for anyone fortunate enough to possess them.
The sight was overwhelming, leaving the onlookers in awe of the sheer magnitude of wealth before them. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that they knew they couldn't let slip away, and Pandora is the sole guardian of their entire wealth.
The Treasury was designed to look like a sort of storage area, with shelves and racks placed all throughout. It is extremely enormous—so large that its precise dimensions are unknown—and has a ceiling that is so high that it has its own artificial atmospheric sky, complete with clouds and stars. The onlookers marveled at the intricate details of the ceiling, as if they were standing in a celestial wonderland.
The grandeur of the Treasury was a testament to Pandora's dedication to preserving their wealth in the most awe-inspiring manner possible. It is composed of what looks to be concrete. A glass box made of a material unknown to Pandora contained some of the more priceless objects; the glass was repeatedly demonstrated to be indestructible, as it withstood multiple attempts to break it.
The intricate carvings on the walls depicted scenes of ancient battles and mythical creatures, adding to the overall sense of wonder within the Treasury. The air inside was cool and still, creating a serene atmosphere that enhanced the feeling of stepping into a hidden realm of treasures. The majority of its less expensive contents were simply left on the ground, stacked nearly as high as an average man. The gold ingots, bars, and coins were just heaped, appearing to be worthless.
'Oh, dear...'
'By the 41...'
'Wha-What is all this?!
'This is our Treasury?'
'Illusion. This must be a dream.
'FUCKING 'ELL...'
Those were the thoughts of everyone who had just visited the Treasury for the first time. They twisted their heads left and right, taking in the entire scene and almost passing out at what they saw.
Demiurge was so taken aback that he began to tear his hair out with his hands, unable to comprehend the sheer amount of wealth before him. As the shock subsided, a sense of awe and disbelief settled over the crowd, which realized that they were in the presence of unimaginable riches.
The realization of the true value of what lay before them slowly sank in, leaving them speechless and humbled.
'So this is our fabled Treasury, and all those stories didn't do it justice; this place is truly breathtaking. I was wondering how many historical items from our billion years of history are preserved here because there are so many things here that I only knew from history lectures and textbooks. It's awe-inspiring to see them up close, with each artifact holding a piece of our past. I can't help but feel a deep sense of gratitude for those who have dedicated their lives to preserving our heritage in this magnificent place. The Supreme Beings are too far ahead of us, and their wisdom is unfathomable to us. If only we could comprehend a fraction of their boundless knowledge.' Demiurge's hands stretched for a brown, leather-thick book on the mound of gold beside him as he was astounded by the contents of the Treasury.
Everyone starts to become lost in their own thoughts, scrutinizing and touching every object that takes their attention, testing every weapon that is spread out, and reading every book. Some even get so lost in their own thoughts that they just stand there motionless and mumble to themselves. The sheer magnitude of the Treasury's treasures overwhelms them as they try to absorb as much information and power as possible.
"Ah, good to see you all here at the Treasury. I must kindly ask you to give back whatever it is you are holding since it is not a toy but a precious artifact with historical significance," a voice echoes through the grand hall. The group of explorers turned to see Pandora standing at the entrance, his eyes filled with concern.
"These treasures are meant to be preserved and studied, not used for personal gain or amusement. Even though I'm happy you've finally arrived so we can start our meeting, I must ask that you refrain from touching anything without my permission or supervision." Pandora enquired.
"Of course, we apologize for our offensive behavior. It's only that this is our first visit, and I must say, it's breathtaking. How long has this been in our possession?" Albedo asked Pandora, and she apologized.
"Longer than we've been alive, Fräulein Albedo. I have the privilege of protecting everything here from danger, keeping things pristine, and preserving all you see here for future generations to enjoy," Pandora explained.
"Every artifact and treasure in this place holds immense historical and cultural significance, and it is our duty to ensure their preservation." Pandora answered, then turned to Aya. "Thank you very much, Aya. You can continue your previous task. I'll take it from here."
"Of course. Excuse me, sir. Have a good day, my lords and ladies." Aya said, bowing her head as she bid them farewell and returned to her previous post.
Shalltear watched the girl with a weird look on her face, curious about the way the girl spoke to Pandora. She could see the girl blushing slightly as she walked away.
'I wonder if there's something more to their relationship.' Shalltear thought to herself, intrigued by the subtle dynamics between Pandora and Aya.
"Cute girl. Who is she, by the way? Can't be your girlfriend; you're too bland for someone of her quality. I mean, just look at that ass." Shaltear asked with a slight insult. "Hell, last time you had one, you dumped her just because she didn't tell you something you wanted and ended up breaking her heart." Shalltear added, her tone dripping with disdain. "I hope this one doesn't suffer the same fate."
"She's one of my three secretaries. Also, it would be highly inappropriate for me to have a romantic relationship with any of my subordinates. Besides, I haven't really recovered from my previous relationship, so I'm not looking for anything serious right now. And don't you dare lecture me about relationship choices or judge my decisions." Pandora retorted, his voice tinged with a mix of frustration and protectiveness.
"Why? Still afraid of commitment?" Shalltear asked, a hint of sarcasm in her voice. "You seem to have quite a list of reasons why you're not interested in a serious relationship. At this rate, you're going to be a bad father too if you ever decide to settle down."
Pandora's eyes narrowed as he clenched his fists, a surge of anger coursing through him. "My past experiences have nothing to do with my potential as a parent. Don't make assumptions based on my relationship choices."
"Baseless assumptions, you said. Well, forgive me, oh wise one, for daring to question your impeccable judgment," she replied, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "But it's hard not to draw conclusions when you consistently prioritize your own desires over any commitment or responsibility."
Pandora's jaw tightened as he struggled to maintain his composure. "You don't know the whole story," he retorted, his voice laced with frustration. "There are reasons behind my choices that you couldn't possibly understand."
"Actually, I do, Pandora, I fucking do. I've seen the consequences of your actions firsthand, and they have affected not only you but also those around you. Your reasons may be valid to you, but they don't excuse the pain and disappointment you've caused."
"Who the fuck are you to judge me?" Pandora snapped, his eyes flashing with anger. "You think you know everything about me and my life, but you don't. You've only seen a small fraction of who I am and what I've been through. Don't pretend to have all the answers when you haven't walked in my shoes."
"You don't even get it, do you, Pandora? You're so consumed by your own perspective that you fail to see the impact of your actions on others. It's not about judging you; it's about holding you accountable for the hurt you've caused. Maybe if you took a step back and truly listened, you would understand the pain and disappointment that surround you. Fucking unbelieveable." Shalltear shouted, her voice filled with frustration and anger. She had reached her breaking point, tired of being dismissed and invalidated.
Now red as a tomato, triggering her enough to conjure her lance. As a reflex, Pandora also conjured his armor to protect himself from Shalltear's potential attack. The tension between them was palpable, but both knew that escalating the situation would only lead to more unnecessary conflict. Both were having a staredown, anticipating the first attack.
Both were ready to tear each other apart. She summons her scarlet complete suit of armor, an armored knee-high skirt, a pair of bird-like white wings, and a half-face helmet. Her lance now has a hose behind the grip that is attached to the rear of her armor between her wings.
"You're talking mad shit for someone in striking range, Mini!" Pandora continued with his insult.
"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?!" Shalltear became so enraged that she unconsciously conjured both her full Valkyrie armor and her Spuit Lance.
"You heard me, MINI." Pandora said, grabbing a nearby sword from the pile.
"Oh, I'm so gonna enjoy this; that smug look on your face is about to be wiped off!" Shalltear retorted, her voice dripping with venom.
"Oh, shut the fuck up, you annoying bitch," Pandora spat back, tightening his grip on the sword.
"Is that what I am to you? Just your bitch?! Shalltear's eyes blazed with fury as she raised her lance, ready to strike. "You're about to learn just how wrong you are!" she snarled, her voice filled with a mix of anger and defiance.
"Bring it on; let's settle this once and for all," Pandora sneered, a wicked grin spreading across his face. "I've been waiting for this moment."
"SHALLTEAR! We are not here to fight! Calm yourself down!" Albedo spoke angrily at Shalltear, now also equipping her jet-black bardiche with a menacing aura. "Pandora, enough with the provocation. Let's focus on the task at hand," Albedo added, her voice filled with authority.
Feeling the tension continue to grow, Demiurge also extends the sharp, long claws from his hands, ready to defend himself if necessary.
"Everyone, please, let's remember our purpose here," Demiurge said calmly, trying to diffuse the escalating situation.
Luciant also pulled his twin sabers from their sheaths, the blades gleaming with a faint blue light. He positioned himself between Shalltear and Pandora, ready to intervene if things turned violent.
"Let us breathe and find a peaceful resolution."
Cocytus and Gargantua just shake their heads and decide to sit on the floor and watch the tense exchange unfold.
"We've seen enough of this, so I think it's appropriate for us to place a bet on who will win," Cocytus said with a smirk. Gargantua nodded in agreement, a mischievous glint in his eyes. Both of them eagerly awaited the outcome, hoping for an entertaining spectacle.
"Damn right, one hundred grand for Pandora to win!" Gargantua exclaimed, a sly grin spreading across his face.
Cocytus chuckled and raised the stakes, saying, "Make it two hundred grand, my friend. This is going to be a show worth every penny." They clinked their glasses together and settled in for the thrilling display of power and strategy that was about to unfold before them.
"Are you guys fucking serious right now?!" Aura hissed, her eyes widening in disbelief. "They are about to kill each other! Your cousins!"
"Oh, would you relax? They've been at it for how long? Ten thousand years or so," Cocytus replied nonchalantly, taking a sip of his drink. "Besides, we have no place to interfere in their affairs. Let them settle their differences on their own terms."
Aura crossed her arms, still uneasy about the impending battle. "I just hope they know what they're doing."
Cocytus chuckled, his confidence unwavering. "Trust me, they've been through worse. This is just another chapter in their eternal rivalry."
The room fell silent as the group reluctantly shifted their attention back to the mission ahead, their weapons still at the ready in case of any unforeseen threats.
"Look, guys. Our enemy is in that world, not in front of us. Our chances of succeeding will get slimmer if you both continue to tear each other apart. What would Lord Momonga and Lord Peroroncino think when their kids killed each other?" Aura said, sounding almost bored with the unnecessary standoff.
Her words hung in the air, causing a momentary pause as the tension slowly dissipated. The group exchanged glances, realizing the truth in Aura's statement and the importance of unity in their mission.
With a collective nod, they reluctantly sheathed their weapons and refocused their attention on the task at hand, determined to put aside their differences for the sake of their leaders' expectations.
'Vater and Lord Peroroncino will only lose their faces if we keep doing this.
'DAMMIT. But this shortstack is right. I can't embarrass Father any further.'
They both calmed down as they started to think of the long-term consequences of their actions. They realized that their personal grievances could jeopardize the success of their mission and ultimately undermine the trust placed in them by their leaders.
With this realization, they made a silent pact to set aside their differences and work together towards a common goal, understanding that unity was crucial for achieving victory and upholding the honor of their fathers. Both deactivate their respective equipment, and Pandora puts the sword back on the pile.
"You're right. I'm sorry for that. Time is of the essence, so kindly follow me right now. Let's start this meeting now." Then, as instructed by Pandora, he led them to a big circular table in the Treasury's center. Everyone sat down in their chairs, and Pandora waved his hand to start the meeting today with a hologram projection.
"I want to start by saying a big thank you to everyone for voluntarily giving up their time to attend the meeting today. Your dedication and commitment to our cause are truly appreciated. Now, let's dive right into the agenda and discuss the important matters at hand. I'll simply get to the point. The purpose of today's discussion is to talk about the chain of command for our future expedition because, aside from me leading this mission, we don't clearly comprehend our ranks."
"I would like to change that since, as you all recall, we will also be bringing our own reliable agents with a variety of abilities and expertise. Because it would be impossible for one person to effectively manage multiple teams with varying levels of capability at once, I want to group together people with the same level of skill and expertise into one division."
"This way, everyone will be able to focus on what they do best and collaborate, allowing us to accomplish much more with less effort and stress. I want each department to have a leader who possesses the same skill and strength to oversee one or two teams. Each department will only have one function based on the strengths of its members."
"To reduce the risk to our objective, people who are excellent at reconnaissance, for example, will solely be tasked with information gathering." Upon Pandora's explanation, everyone nodded in agreement.
It makes perfect sense in a way; it will be better for them to sort individuals based on their respective skills; after all, it ensures that each team is led by someone who has the necessary expertise and knowledge to effectively guide their members.
This approach also minimizes the chances of any crucial tasks being overlooked or mishandled, as each individual will be assigned to a role that aligns with their strengths. Ultimately, this strategy maximizes efficiency and productivity within the organization.
'Pandora made a quite sensible decision. Dividing everyone and sorting everyone into a specific division based on their capabilities will lessen the stress on our whole group and ensure that each person can focus on their area of expertise. This will not only improve the quality of work produced but also foster a sense of fulfillment and job satisfaction among team members. Additionally, by leveraging individual strengths, the organization can tap into a diverse range of skills and perspectives, leading to more innovative and creative solutions to challenges that may arise. Therefore, everyone can focus on what they do best and nothing else. Very intriguing, indeed.' Demiurge thought, agreeing to Pandora's idea.
"The Special Intelligence Division will be our first stop. The main goal of it is to acquire any information we can. From the fundamental understanding of this world through its geography, geology, history, politics, military, and so on. Given that we still lacked knowledge of this planet, this division would not be restricted to a certain region or range. Therefore, as soon as we get there, we must establish a footing right away to ensure our mission's safety."
"The more we understand about this world, the better, since we won't get into any uncomfortable situations. I was wondering whether you would like to assume this post, Nigredo, as the Head of Operation of the Special Intelligence Division. After all, you have a lifetime of experience gathering intelligence." After turning to face Nigredo, Pandora offered her the role.
"I believe that because I will be in charge of ensuring everyone under my command's safety, the position comes with a whole new set of responsibilities. I will take the role, Pandora, since Father is depending on us to save the mortals." Nigredo replied, taking up the offer.
"But I'll need help; therefore, I'd like to request Aureole's assistance, who has the same level of knowledge as I do." She is exactly as capable as I am, and I could use her assistance a lot." Pandora heard Nigredo say
'Indeed. Aureole has proven herself to be the best at information gathering, just like Nigredo. They're both on a whole other level when it comes to acquiring knowledge. With their combined skills, we have a better chance of successfully completing this mission and fulfilling Father's expectations.'
"Undoubtedly, that made sense. I see, Aureole. I would like to ask for your help in assisting Nigredo with the Special Intelligence Division." Pandora addressed Aureole.
"Of course, I would assist in any way I could. I'll accept the Vice Leader post, Pandora." Aureole stated
"Great. Then the Base Defense Division will come next. Although less complicated than the Special Intelligence Division, it will nonetheless be quite significant. This division's major goal is to safeguard our base from any attack, whether internal or foreign. Our boundary radius should grow the longer our mission lasts, in my opinion. The mortals will undoubtedly find safety inside our boundaries once our influence has sufficiently extended."
"The Supreme Beings declared that we would safeguard everyone who was within our jurisdiction. Additionally, the more land we acquired, the farther we must travel. It will be the responsibility of this division to keep everyone secure. And I suppose that as long as we live on this planet, the duty will only increase." Everyone nodded to his explanation."
"The first two that come to mind are Demiurge and Entoma. Rather than engaging in one-on-one battle, they are commander-style fighters, in charge of a large army of demons and insects, respectively. Making them capable of traversing more land and overwhelming our opponents with a large number of incredibly powerful demons and insects, increasing our chances of winning."
"Also, Demiurge is, in my opinion, an incredibly cunning person. He would be capable of devising a plan to secure all fronts, and I'm sorry, I'm not in any way disrespecting Entoma, but she could use the help of Demiurge to be more strategic and less chaotic in her approach. Additionally, Demiurge's leadership skills and tactical expertise would greatly benefit Entoma in coordinating and executing complex battle strategies, ultimately leading to a more efficient and successful outcome on the battlefield." Pandora shares his opinion, apologizing to Entoma.
"That is alright, brother Pandora. I don't feel offended in any way. I agree; I could learn a lot from Brother Demiurge," Entoma replied graciously. "His strategic thinking and ability to anticipate the enemy's moves would undoubtedly enhance my own combat abilities. With his guidance, I believe I can become a formidable force on the battlefield." Entoma nodded approvingly, knowing that with Demiurge's help, she would reach new heights in her tactical prowess,
"Of course, Entoma. I will assist in any way I can." Demiurge replied.
"So? Demiurge, what do you think? Entoma?" Pandora questioned them both.
"I must admit, it's a very intriguing request. Yes, Pandora, it is an excellent suggestion. I'll take the job of head of the base defense division. Entoma? Would you help me keep our home safe by lending a hand?" Demiurge looked across towards Entoma.
"No use in asking me. Please put my name on the board." Entoma answered happily while snacking.
"I appreciate you taking it." Pandora said, shaking Demiurge's hand.
"We shall now discuss our covert operations. The Black Ops Division will only concentrate on clandestine operations, including espionage, infiltration, assassination, sabotage, and capturing extremely valuable targets without attracting attention. We will work in the shadows, ensuring the success of our missions while maintaining the utmost secrecy."
"Our expertise in these areas will make us an indispensable asset to the base defense division. Given the risk and danger each operation entails, speed and stealth are crucial for this division. As a result, we require someone who can lead groups of carefully trained operatives while hitting targets hard and moving quickly with precision."
"The ideal candidate must possess exceptional tactical skills and the ability to adapt to unpredictable situations on the field. Additionally, strong communication and decision-making abilities are vital in order to effectively coordinate operations and ensure the safety of our team members. I had Shalltear, Solution, and CZ in mind. You all completely fit the bill."
"So without further ado, rise up and take the position by yourself." Pandora didn't even think twice before asking their opinions.
'This is such bullshit!'
"You haven't even asked about our consent yet! Why the fuck would we do it?" Shalltear shouted out, rising from her seat.
'Unbelieveable!'
"Yeah! This is completely unfair!" A solution followed shortly.
"Yes, utter rubish." CZ joins in with her monotone voice.
"For one thing, that is the only set of talents you have and excel in. If it's three versus the rest of us, it's not one-sided; just take a look around." Pandora gestured for the three to look around the table, baffled that the rest of them actually agreed with her opinion.
'I can't believe it. Such disrespect! They're actually okay with whatever this egghead babbles!'
"Third, I'm in control of the entire mission. Additionally, as I mentioned at the beginning of the meeting, everyone will be restructured and put in the position for which they are most suited. Shalltear will now be in charge of leading the division. Solution: You will serve as vice president, and CZ will be its major officer. Now, be quiet." With snark and contempt, Pandora explains it to them.
'He won't get away with this.'
"Our military division will be the next in line. This division, which will serve as our main fighting force, will be made up of all of our soldiers as well as part of the Black Sky that my father has loaned us. It will act as our main force in both war and in defending Nazarick. Additionally, it will be the one to advance on Slane Theocracy in the waning moments of our mission in order to apprehend the Six's offspring and bring them to justice."
"Field Marshall Cocytus will serve as the division's head, with both Luciant and Gargantua as his second and third in command, respectively. With their combined strength and strategic abilities, we can ensure a formidable force that will strike fear into our enemies." Pandora elucidated.
"Of course. I'll lead our army." Cocytus nodded.
'Father. I will prove myself. Every battle will be won.'
"Sure, I'll help out however I can." Luciant chimed in confidently. "And with Gargantua by our side, our enemies won't stand a chance."
"Fucking right," Gargantua growled, his voice filled with determination. "We will crush anyone who dares to oppose us."
"For this assignment, a group of field agents will be led by Narberal and myself. In order to avoid suspicion, we shall divide into 18 teams of two. We'll scout the area to look for the Six's offspring and anything else that may be useful in capturing them. Each team will have specific tasks and objectives assigned to them, ensuring maximum efficiency and coverage of the area."
"Our ultimate goal is to swiftly apprehend the Six's offspring and bring them to justice, while also gathering any valuable information that can aid us in our mission. Commander Bellial and her team, the Reeling Goats, will act in our shadows as the covert support unit, providing backup and intelligence gathering. With their expertise in stealth operations, they will ensure that our presence remains undetected while we carry out our mission."
"I'll help you to the best of my abilities, Pandora." Narberal said.
"Finally, we need envoys to let people know that this religion and these so-called "gods" are going to get their comeuppance. We require someone who can blend in, get to know the people, and build strong relationships. This job would be ideal for Sebas, Yuri, and Lupusregina. Victim will act as your support in case any complications arise during your mission."
"The last thing we need is another issue, so if you can, educate them about the 41, but don't impose it on them as a strict belief. We want them to understand the truth and make their own choices. It's important to approach this with tact and respect for their existing beliefs."
"It will be our honor, Pandora. These "Gods" and their descendants will face justice." Sebas said, followed by Yuri and Lupusregina nodding to his words.
"We shall teach them. All of them." Yuri continued, followed by Lupus Regina.
"We will have so much fun "teaching" these boastful fucks!" Lupusregina added, beating her chest with confidence; everyone chuckled watching her act so confident.
"I'll be waiting the day the fell." Victim said, his smirk turning into a determined expression. "Their arrogance will be their downfall, and we will be there to witness it."
"Thank you for accepting your roles. I'm grateful." Pandora shook their hands.
"That's all there is. This meeting has come to an end. Thank you for all your attention. I appreciate your time. We'll be leaving in four days, so make sure you're prepared and ready for the mission. Let's show them what we're made of and bring justice to those who deserve it." The room erupted in applause as everyone left with a renewed sense of purpose.
Entrance to the Great Tomb of Nazarick, south of the Five-Colored Grass Forest
After several days of impatiently anticipating it, the moment had finally arrived for them. Together with all of their subordinates, they assembled at the designated spot. They gave their subordinates the instruction to drop off the transportation in Nazarick's hangar, which was on the first floor.
"I want all aircraft and naval vessels stored on the first floor by today, and all ammunition and supplies accounted for and organized," commanded the leader. The subordinates quickly dispersed, diligently carrying out their orders to ensure that everything was in place for their upcoming mission.
"Commander Bellial, I haven't seen you in a while. How have you been?" asked Pandora with a warm smile.
Bellial returned the smile, grateful for the friendly gesture amidst the busy atmosphere. "Lord Pandora. I've been well; thank you, sir." She replied, briefly recounting her recent experiences before shifting the conversation to their mission preparations.
"You know you can just drop the 'lord' part; we're in the same class. We've known each other since forever, Bellal." Pandora said, playfully nudging Bellial's arm. "But I'm glad to hear you've been doing well. So, what do you think about our mission this time? It seems like it's going to be quite challenging."
"Well, if I'm being honest, sir, I think it's pretty suspicious that they're sending us on such a high-stakes mission without much information. I can't help but wonder what they're not telling us." Bellial replied, her tone filled with a hint of skepticism. "But regardless, I'm ready for whatever comes our way. We've faced tough challenges before and come out on top."
"You feel it too, huh? Can't blame you; you're a certified legendary commander after all." Pandora chuckled, his eyes glinting with admiration. "But you're right; something doesn't sit right with me either. It's as if they're intentionally keeping us in the dark, testing our abilities."
"Yes. Especially the unknown female figure bearing Lord Momonga's insignia. Something doesn't add up about her. It's like she knows more than she's letting on, and it's making me uneasy. The way I heard it from the surviving Black Sky members who were deployed there, not a single one was able to land a hit on her before she effortlessly defeated them all. She knows how we fight, how we think, and how we breathe; she's something entirely different. She seems to have an uncanny understanding of our strengths and weaknesses, as if she has studied us extensively. It's almost as if she's one of us." Bellial paused, contemplating the mysterious woman. The more he thought about it, the more convinced he became that she must have some connection to their organization. Perhaps she was a former member who had gone rogue, or maybe she had been trained by someone who knew their tactics inside out. Whatever the case, Bellial couldn't shake off the feeling that they were dealing with a formidable adversary who held a dangerous advantage over them.
"I don't think even I could take her on alone," Bellial admitted, her voice tinged with a hint of uncertainty.
"Come on, now you're just selling yourself short, Bellial. You've faced countless challenges before and come out on top," reassured Pandora, trying to boost her confidence. "But I agree; this adversary seems to have a level of expertise that we haven't encountered before. We need to approach this situation strategically and gather as much information as possible before making any moves."
"Anyway, I'm heading inside; report to me when we're ready to start the transport sequence."
"Yes, sir. I'll report to you when we're done." Bellial saluted Pandora and watched as he entered the facility.
The first level has been fully reconstructed and is now considerably larger than it was previously, accommodating the growing number of residents in Nazarick. The hangar was equipped with state-of-the-art technology to house and maintain various modes of transportation, ensuring efficient and secure storage for their subordinates' vehicles.
Nazarick now has its own Air Force Base, complete with four runways, 26 hangars, and numerous aircraft, as well as an artificial lake with a port for naval vessels. This expansion allows Nazarick to not only accommodate their growing population but also ensure their ability to mobilize and defend themselves effectively, showcasing their commitment to maintaining a formidable presence in the region. Additionally, the artificial lake and port provide a strategic advantage, enabling Nazarick to engage in maritime operations and further solidify their dominance in both land and sea territories.
Every aircraft transported for the operation was in the midst of being stored within these hangars, with each aircraft being dragged to its parking area with its wings folded and anchored to the ground to ensure maximum security and protection. This meticulous approach not only safeguards the aircraft from potential damage but also allows for efficient use of space within the hangars. The anchoring of the aircraft also serves as a precautionary measure against any unforeseen weather conditions or potential security threats, ensuring that Nazarick's air assets remain ready for deployment at a moment's notice.
Every ship, both surface and subsurface, was being brought to each pier, anchored, and secured to it with a combination of heavy-duty chains, ropes, and advanced locking mechanisms. This comprehensive anchoring system guarantees that the ships remain stable and immovable, even in the face of strong currents or turbulent weather conditions. Additionally, this rigorous process ensures that unauthorized access to the vessels is nearly impossible, providing an extra layer of security for Nazarick's maritime assets.
Every combat crew was fully stocking Nazarick's armory with weapons, armor, and ammo for every troop, aircraft, and ship in order to be prepared for any potential threats or conflicts. This meticulous approach to inventory management allows for swift and efficient deployment of resources, ensuring that Nazarick's combat crews are always well-equipped and ready for action. Furthermore, regular maintenance and inspections are conducted to guarantee the optimal performance and longevity of all weaponry, armor, and ammunition, minimizing the risk of equipment failure during critical operations.
Non-combatants, including doctors, researchers, cooks, historians, logistics specialists, and others, were busily stocking Nazarick's supply warehouse on the third level, ensuring that all necessary supplies were readily available for both the combat crews and the various non-combat personnel. This meticulous attention to stocking the supply warehouse allows for efficient operations and seamless coordination between different departments within Nazarick, further enhancing its overall effectiveness and functionality.
It took them about a half-day to finish all of those tasks, triple-checking everything to ensure nothing was overlooked and to maintain the highest level of accuracy. The dedication and thoroughness displayed by the personnel in charge of stocking the supply warehouse reflect Nazarick's commitment to excellence and its unwavering focus on meeting the needs of its inhabitants. With every detail accounted for, the organization can confidently proceed with its operations, knowing that it has everything it requires at its disposal.
Everyone participating had headaches and a frantic pace throughout the procedure, but their determination and professionalism never wavered. Despite the challenges, they worked tirelessly to ensure that every item was properly organized and readily accessible. Their unwavering commitment to efficiency and attention to detail is a testament to the high standards upheld by Nazarick in all aspects of its operations.
The children of the Supreme Being made their way up through each floor until they reached the tenth story. They discovered that Nazarick's entrance had not changed from what they remembered—a grand and imposing gateway that exuded an aura of power and mystery. As they stepped inside, the familiar scent of ancient magic filled the air, welcoming them back to their beloved home. The children couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement and anticipation as they embarked on their new adventure within the depths of Nazarick.
Although Nazarick appears to be untouched on the surface, its performance has been boosted to comical proportions as they progress through each floor, encountering increasingly powerful and awe-inspiring guardians. The children marveled at the intricate designs and elaborate traps, realizing that they were about to face challenges beyond their wildest imaginations.
With each step, their determination grew stronger, knowing that only by overcoming these trials could they truly prove themselves worthy of the treasures that lay hidden within Nazarick's depths. This is a comprehensive redesign of the Zenith, not just some "slight changes.". They were ordered to assemble in the throne chamber on the 10th floor while they reminisced about their youth.
'If this is a case of "slight changes," what would it signify if they were taking it seriously?'
'Well, I'll be damned! "Slight changes" are now officially the biggest lie I've ever heard in my entire life.
'The Supreme Beings continue to surprise us with their boundless wisdom. I can't wait to grasp just a tiny fraction of their wisdom.'
Everyone present was impressed with how much their home had improved. Their confidence in the success of this mission grows with every second that passes while they're walking to the throne room. When they arrived at a set of enormous doors, the door opened to show who had called them...
It was Lord Momonga himself, together with Gravel and Zoan, his two retainers. He was seated in a pew in the left center part, not on the throne. Everyone was astounded by their Lord's humility.
"Greetings to everybody. All right, let's get ready," stated Momonga. He gets up and moves towards the steps leading up to the throne, requesting everyone's full attention.
"I am wishing everyone here luck. Please return home safely, and here is my advice for your assignment: Think the worst has already happened; don't be scared; and be prepared to adjust to any scenario. Please pay close attention to whatever he says and treat his words as mine. I have faith in his talents, despite the fact that he has never led a squad on a mission. All of your parents and I believe in you." As he bids them farewell, Momonga imparts a bit of his knowledge.
"Pandora." Momonga turned to face his son. "You now hold their lives in your hands. Take care and best wishes." Momonga hugged Pandora while saying this. Then leave Nazarick.
"Thank you, Father. I promise we will come back soon. We will save the mortals and bring these ungrateful insignificants to you. THIS I SWEAR!" Pandora exclaimed. Raising his right hand forward to eye level.
"THIS WE SWEAR!" Everyone followed, putting their right hand in a fist to their chest.
Momonga and his two retainers leave the Throne Room and Nazarick to return to the Grand Square, with three squads of Black Sky following and guarding him as he goes through the streets of Primis to the Grand Square. His humility astounded them even more since he was eager to walk the streets and return greetings to all the citizens of Regnum Dei. His people held him in the highest regard.
Pandora then sat on the throne in the chamber; a holographic display lit up, and he accessed its control panel before beginning the teleportation procedure.
'This throne.. How long has it been since we last saw it?'
"Alright, everyone, please take your seats because we're about to begin the interdimensional travel sequence. I have a feeling this will be different from our previous trip around the world with Nazarick, so take a seat and hold yourself to something. It's going to be a blast." Pandora said this to everyone, and they all proceeded to take a seat in the rows of newly built pews.
"Pandora, do you even know how to run this thing?" Albedo asked Pandora, gripping the underside of her pew.
"Let's see if I still remember the code." Pandora answered, shrugging it off as if it were not a big deal.
'Chairon? Chiron? Shiron? What was it again? Ah, yes. Charon is named after the guy who carries the souls of the dead across the river Styx of planet Earth in the Milky Way Galaxy. The foolish gods and goddesses of that world still irritate me to this day, especially that worthless, good for nothing, sex maniac, Zeus. I still can't believe he's the head of his pantheon. Father should've gotten rid of him instead of letting him live. But his brother, Hades, is a nice fellow; I'll give him my Tome of the Dead the next time we meet.'
"Charon." Pandora called.
[Ready... Welcome, Lord Pandora... What is your order?]
"Charon. Begin the transport sequence. The destination will be planet 6G in the galaxy 79K16PL. If feasible, get us to the center of the continent." Pandora issues his command to Charon, Nazarick's artificial intelligence in control of the entire system.

Somewhere south-west of Slane Theocracy
Fifteen people gathered in a dimly lit room, their eyes fixed on a holographic display. The projection showed everything that's happening in Regnum Dei. The projection panned to the Five Colored Grass Forest, where the newly built Nazarick is gathering absolutely massive amounts of energy and is preparing to start its interdimensional teleportation process.
They watched the air surrounding Nazarick begin to shimmer and distort, indicating the immense power being harnessed, and then suddenly it disappeared, leaving a massive hole in the fabric of reality. The room remained silent as they watched Nazarick vanish into thin air, leaving behind an eerie emptiness.
"So they have finally completed their preparations," Reargant said, breaking the silence. "Seems like our clock has finally started ticking."
"Yeah, did they really think they brought enough forces to stand a chance against us?" Meliore scoffed, his voice filled with confidence. "Little do they know, we have been anticipating this moment for a long time."
Harina stands up from her seat, her eyes fired up with determination and a dark aura emanating from her. Everyone followed suit and stood at attention, their expressions mirroring Harina's determination. They too start to leak hints of their own auras, from fiery red to icy blue to sparky golden yellow and hot white. The room crackled with an electric energy as their auras intertwined, creating a powerful force field that surrounded them.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I thank you all for joining me in this crucial moment," Harina begins, her voice filled with gratitude and conviction.
"Together, we shall rid the universe of those primordials; together, we will bring about a new era. Let's show those primordials that we are united and unstoppable!" Her words echoed through the room, igniting a fire within each person present.
"Let's show the 41 the power of those they have abandoned, ignored, cast out, and forgotten. Let us prove to them that we are not defined by their neglect but rather by our resilience and determination. It is time for us to rise above their limitations and forge our own destiny, reclaiming our rightful place in the universe." The crowd erupted in cheers, their spirits lifted by Harina's powerful words.
"For we are the fifteen strong and brave enough to defy the oppression and injustice that have been imposed upon us. We will no longer allow ourselves to be silenced or marginalized. Together, we will stand united, fighting for our rights and demanding the equality we deserve. Let our voices be heard, and let our actions inspire change in the hearts of those who have turned a blind eye to our struggles."
Harina paused for a moment, taking in the energy of the crowd, before continuing, "Today marks the beginning of a new era, where our voices will no longer be ignored. Let us remember that change starts with us, and together we can create a future where equality and justice prevail. Let's show them... the power of the Fifteen Shadows."
"Fifteen denied, fifteen cursed, fifteen silenced... Fifteen shall rise."
"Fifteen denied, fifteen cursed, fifteen silenced... Fifteen shall rise."
"Fifteen denied, fifteen cursed, fifteen silenced... Fifteen shall rise."
"Fifteen denied, fifteen cursed, fifteen silenced... Fifteen shall rise."
"Fifteen denied, fifteen cursed, fifteen silenced... Fifteen shall rise."
"Fifteen denied, fifteen cursed, fifteen silenced... Fifteen shall rise."
"Fifteen denied, fifteen cursed, fifteen silenced... Fifteen shall rise."
"Fifteen denied, fifteen cursed, fifteen silenced... Fifteen shall rise."
"Fifteen denied, fifteen cursed, fifteen silenced... Fifteen shall rise."
"Fifteen denied, fifteen cursed, fifteen silenced... Fifteen shall rise."
"Fifteen denied, fifteen cursed, fifteen silenced... Fifteen shall rise."
"Fifteen denied, fifteen cursed, fifteen silenced... Fifteen shall rise."
"Fifteen denied, fifteen cursed, fifteen silenced... Fifteen shall rise."
"Fifteen denied, fifteen cursed, fifteen silenced... Fifteen shall rise."
"Fifteen denied, fifteen cursed, fifteen silenced... Fifteen shall rise."
The repeated chant echoed through the dark chamber, its words filled with an ominous power. The air grew heavy with anticipation as the group of hooded figures awaited the fulfillment of their prophecy.
"My fellow Shadows, I hereby commence Operation Eclipse," Harina's voice boomed, breaking the silence. The Shadows, united by their shared purpose, prepared to execute their carefully planned mission to bring about the rise of the fifteenth entity and the fall of the forty-one primordials.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Harina laughed, her voice filled with a chilling mix of excitement and malice. The Shadows, fueled by her sinister laughter, felt their determination intensify as they embraced the darkness within them. With each step closer to their goal, they knew that the world would soon witness a cataclysmic shift in power.
"Let the darkness begin..."
To be continued...
