While we were exploring, I couldn't help but feel... some kind of icky feeling that was in my head. It felt like I was hearing a distant voice... one that I had no clue if I knew it or not... it sounded like it were in different pitches when it spoke and I only got a few words in my head.

"Stupid... girl... tower falls... rule over everything... world... hide myself... Darkrai... Single thing... who I am... future... canvas!" I heard the voice as I traveled, me gawking at what I was hearing... someone was hiding as a Darkrai?! Was he the one who attacked me in the future?! A fake disguised as a Darkrai?! And then, came the kicker, as it was much louder and clearer now. "OMNIPOTENCE, THY NAME IS BILL CIPHER!" the voice shouted, me gasping and literally getting cold feet the moment I heard that, right as soon as we had managed to find the flute in question, it being the last item we needed to get before the job was done.

"What's wrong with you, Lisette? You look like you've seen a ghost... uh, no pun intended, Shuppet," Kiba said, me gulping as I then sighed.

"I uh... I don't know why but... I suddenly know something. I know who the Shadow Guy is from that riddle! I heard him!" I said, the others looking at me in shock.

"Y-You're serious?! I can tell by your concern and worry that you're terrified! It's gotta be a tough customer if it's making you afraid!" Murkrow gawked at me.

"Oh boy, you have no idea what we're up against. A creature that's capable of literally destroying everything we care about. And he's the one trying to stop time as we speak. If he succeeds, he plans on killing Arceus and taking his place as the God of this world," I said, which made Kiba gawk.

"Who is it?" he asked.

"His name... is Bill Cipher," I said, the group looking at me in confusion before Kiba then looked in my head about everything that I knew about Bill Cipher. And when he did, he then gasped and shivered even worse than I was!

"Oh... Oh my god... he-he's a monster!" he gawked.

"Wh-What'd you see?" Diancie asked.

"He's literally a god of chaos, able to manipulate our body parts into different places, change us into inanimate objects without any effort, blast apart opponents to nothingness, and he can even eat planets! How the hell is he in this world?! He was only in a single world before, how is he in this one?!" I asked in shock before I then heard the voice again. "THAT ROSE THOUGHT SHE WAS SO SMART?! TRYING TO REVERT ME TO A SINGLE YEAR OLD?! I AM OMNIPOTENT, I REMEMBER EVERYTHING! AND ONCE I'M DONE WITH THEM, I'M GOING TO GO TO THAT STUPID UNIVERSE OF PSYCHONAUT SMARTIES AND SHOW THEM WHAT A TRUE GOD OF CHAOS CAN DO!" Bill Cipher shouted in my head, me groaning before then shaking my head at that.

"How are you able to hear him, though? We can't hear a single word," Murkrow asked as Kiba heard that stuff and then looked at my mind again... but he then gasped as he then looked to be getting memories... that weren't mine! And when he saw them, he was so shocked that he literally vomitted on the ground right there, him then sighing and panting after getting the last bits of it.

"H-He's not a monster... he's worse than that! He killed billions, including his own parents, then killed even more... and he was sent to a world called Psychonauts by another demon after he had been resurrected from an enchantment. After doing so, he then got trounced by a human with intensely powerful psychic powers, one that was... well... um..." Kiba said before then sharing the memory with me, which I gawked at. The human in question was in the same predicament I was. Where she had been sent from my world to one in a video game.

"She was just like me," I said. "That's why I can hear his thoughts. Because I'm just like this Rose person that defeated him last. From another universe, possibly the same one. I need to learn as much as I can any time he blabs his eye-mouth so I can find out if we can find a way to stop him in his tracks," I said, the group nodding as we then finally used our Rescue Team badges to return back to base and, before I got the rest of the rewards with everyone else, I immediately went back to the cafe and told Flutter everything about what was going on and to edit the job description to say that someone had found out the identity of the shadow guy.

"Who is it?" she asked.

"A demon who has killed billions in order to get power. And, for some bizarre reason, whenever he speaks from where he's at, I can hear everything he says! It's Bill Cipher, a demon who wants to destroy Temporal Tower for the sole purpose of making everyone suffer. And after that happens, he plans to take over as the god of the universe," I said, her then gawking before then looking at my thoughts and then gulping again, but this time, actually looking to be a bit faint.

"O-Okay... I-I'll edit it to talk of how dangerous he is... do you know of any weaknesses this bastard has?" she asked, me nodding at that.

"He has two different weaknesses he's weak to unicorn hair, which the closest thing to that in this world is Kiba and Twilight's manes. I'll need to ask the duo if we can get as much hair from them as we can. And his other weakness is that, if his mind is destroyed, then he will be too. But that will be IMMENSELY difficult, since he's got almost a trillion years of experience. We need to fool him into letting his guard down, and when we do that, we need to defeat his mind. After that, he'll be done, but it's going to be a hell of a try to do it. We'll need only the fastest and strongest to defeat him, and sadly, not even Kiba and I are strong enough on our own. We need the absolute best of the best. We need the strongest, the fastest, and the smartest Rescue Team members to join in on this adventure," I said, her nodding and then proceeding to place the notes on the new and improved message, which was begging for anyone to find the strongest, the smartest, and the fastest of all the Rescue Teams in the world in order to find the only one capable of defeating the monster that was Bill Cipher.

"Okay, that checks out... go get some rest," Flutter said, me nodding as I then went back to the Guild mere seconds before closing time and I then went inside and joined the others, them looking at me and seeing that I was running a mile a minute.

"Geeze, settle down, Liz! What's got you in all that huffing and puffing?" Chatot asked me.

"Y-Y-You remember t-t-that message we heard about? The creepy riddle about the shadow guy and the hair gold?" I asked, them nodding at that. I then explained everything, as well as something else. I heard Bill Cipher speak again.

"Those stupid humans, thinking they have me all figured out! I have the strongest mind in the world! Nobody can stop me! I have only one weakness, fairies, and nobody will stop me with the stupid fairies in this world!" he said, me then gawking at that. Weakness... fairy. And Diancie was a fairy type!

"And I just heard that bastard say something else. He said that his biggest weakness... is fairies," I said, everyone gawking at that.

"Fairies? Fairy types! I got it! We need to get the strongest fairy types we can and find him and take him out!" Chatot said with excitement.

"Only one problem. His powers are INSANE! The only way we can stop him is if we get the strongest, fastest, and smartest fairies we can gather to stop him. And only by gaining all of them can we stop him in his tracks," I said. "But the other thing? The date he plans to do the dirty completely is November 23rd exactly. We need to gather these groups before that day happens, and find out where in the world he is," I said, everyone nodding at that.

"Well... ahem... after that bit of news, we should get some food in our systems," Wigglytuff said, all of us then eating, but it being a little less than we usually ate, us then going to bed shortly after.

"I don't think I'll be able to sleep a wink tonight... especially after I accidentally linked my thoughts with that... ooogh... whatever the hell he was," he admitted. And Gir noticed that Kiba was concerned, me smiling at how she then went to Kiba and hugged him in a cuddle mode, which the rainbow-maned Pokemon then sighed in relief after.

"Gir protect friend... from bad dreams..." she said, me smiling at her.

"You're a good mate, Gir," I smiled, me and Diancie joining in on the group cuddle before we then fell to sleep... and this time, when I fell asleep... I gawked when I felt that someone... or something was talking to me.

"Liz... Lisette Funk... can you hear me?" asked a voice that I hadn't heard before... I then looked around and saw that I was in a colorful void of space. And then I saw the form of a human appear in front of me, with her arms and legs both being made of pure psychic energy. "Can you hear me, Lisette Funk?" she asked, me nodding at her.

"I-I can... w-who are you?" I asked.

"I am Rose... Rosie D. And I am contacting you from the world of Psychonauts..." she said, me frowning at that. "I understand that you might be mad at me, but I didn't expect that Bill Cipher would escape the prison that I'd sent him to... or that he'd remember everything about what I'd done to him and everything about who he used to be," she said, me frowning at that.

"And how come he was sent to your Psychonaut world, anyways?" I asked her.

"He was summoned by a demon called Naraku, and he was told to mess with me, as Naraku was outranking him in this world... but in the Pokemon world, he has way more power than this one, which is filled with psychic humans... I am going to entrust you with a special gift, one that I had invented after defeating him and numerous other villains," she said, me then gawking at how I'd ended up getting something that made me confused. It was a door that was attached to a strange headband. "Hit the button on that door and you will be able to bring yourself and any other allies into the mind of whoever it points at. Once you do so, you will be able to go inside of anyone's mind and battle their inner issues. I still want to think that there might be good in Bill, even if it were miniscule. But know that, if you die in his mind, you'll be booted out and you'll wet yourself... and be at his complete and total mercy. And he is never merciful," Rose said, me frowning at her.

"If I find out you're pulling my chain, I'm going to find out some way to make you pay," I said to her.

"But of course. I deserve it, as I was the one at fault. Be careful and exercise caution. He knows nothing about you, keep it that way. He's already been defeated by humans twice. If he found out you were human, too, then you'd get worse than being turned into a Zorua. You'd be killed, gutted, strung up as a tapestry... or even worse... gift shops," Rose said, which actually made me smile at the end.

"Yep, you're from my world alright. Spongebob is best boy," I said, me then sighing as the dream then got interrupted by Loudred's shouting and Rose then grumbled.

"OW! That friend of yours really needs to learn what an inside voice is!" she complained before then disappearing along with the dream.

"HEY! LAZYBONES! GET UP! IT'S BEEN THIRTY MINUTES!" Loudred shouted, me immediately getting up in a huff and rushing out without even thinking about it, seeing that everyone was looking at me in confusion and some in annoyance.

"Sorry about that! Agent Lisette reporting for duty!" I said with concern on my face, me seeing that even Wigglytuff noticed that something was off.

"Is something up, Liz? You look even whiter than you normally do," Wigglytuff asked, me sighing.

"I... I was visited in my dreams last night by one of Bill Cipher's enemies, it being the one that actually sent him here, thinking he'd been defeated... she gave me this thing, it being an invention that can go inside your mind and defeat the bad things inside of it... permission to try and test it for the day, Chatot? It's important to find out how it works before we find the monster himself," I said, the bird then looking at Wigglytuff and nodding.

"Okay, I think I'll allow it. Meanwhile, your allies will be in charge of going to Kecleon Wares and asking if they have any plans to stock Perfect Apples. It'll be vital if they were to start, since it'd mean we wouldn't need to go to Apple Woods to restock every few days," Chatot said, me nodding at that.

"And if the answer is no, then we'll let you know and then get going to the Apple Woods to get some more," Kiba smirked.

"Good plans, I'm sure you'll bring back a lot, as Team Skull hasn't been seen since the expedition... with that out of the way, let's get to work today!" Chatot shouted.

"HOORAY!" everyone shouted, me then looking at the other Guild members and wondering who I could test it out on. I then went up the stairs and saw that one of the rescue teams was busy at the Job Bulletin board, it being Team Flame with Bellsprout looking at the list of jobs and seeing that Camerupt and Ponyta wanted to get a few Outlaw jobs, and Bellsprout wasn't really too keen on it.

"Hey, excuse me, Bellsprout?" I asked, him looking at me in surprise.

"Y-Yes? What is it?" he asked me.

"I wanted to ask if I could test this new invention out... it allows me to go inside your mind and help out your mental state," I said, Bellsprout looking at me in confusion.

"Wait... why ask Bellsprout? What does he have to fear?" Ponyta asked, Bellsprout then gulping down his stem at seeing the fire on Ponyta's mane.

"Uh... I accept. You promise it's safe, right?" he asked, me nodding.

"It is safe, especially for you... but unfortunately, I don't know how much time will pass during it, so I'd like to ask if we could do this somewhere else, preferably where we won't be doing other jobs or in a crowded setting," I said, the trio nodding as they led us out of the place and down to a small house that was made up logs and stone, a bit off the road from the Drenched Bluff.

"This is our base of operations. We'll be willing to take an off day if it means that our leader will be without fear... of us, that is," Ponyta sighed.

"Yeah, I'm worried for him, mate. We've heard you're pretty good at your rescue stuff, but what are you gonna do in his mind?" Camerupt asked.

"I'm going to battle his inner fears and insecurities... I just have to hope I don't get killed in that mind... if I do, I'm going to end up wetting the carpet and get booted out and dizzy," I said, them looking at me in confusion before I then aimed the door at Bellsprout's head and pushed the button, me then feeling it... I went right into his mind... and I had to wonder what I'd see in it...

At around the same time as this was happening, Kiba, Diancie, and Gir had went to town and happened to see that Dusknoir was chatting up with the Kecleon brothers.

"Ah, I remember you three. You're the newest intern at the Guild and you two were the ones that found her, right?" the ghostly man asked the trio, Gir hiding behind Diancie at the sound of his voice. "No need to be afraid, I'm not a danger to the innocent," he said, which Gir then gulped at. She remembered what she had been told of by Liz. Dusknoir was evil... good thing she didn't know how to speak Pokemon, she thought.

"Sorry, she's a bit more feral than the other humans you found. She was the lone thing we happened to find on our expedition. It's a shame that we couldn't find Fogbound Lake, but we did find her. She's unable to speak or understand Pokemon talk, so only human Englsih or mental talks," Kiba smiled.

"I see... regardless, I happened to have heard that there's a bit of a ruckus going on involving the mysterious Misses Invisible. Apparently the one responsible for a horrid disaster is called Bill Cipher, hmm?" Dusknoir asked, which Kiba nodded at.

"Yeah, and I should know... I saw his thoughts when our team leader was hearing him shout," Kiba admitted, which Dusknoir was confused at.

"You heard his thoughts? What else did you see?" he asked... Kiba gulped at that.

"I'm not sure even you could handle it, Dusknoir... I was a nervous wreck all night... the things he did, the things I saw... I wouldn't wish anyone to see the monster that Bill Cipher is," Kiba said, Dusknoir sighing.

"If anything is the reason, I blame myself for what may happen, not you. I wish to assist in defeating a monster that sound so terrifying," he admitted, Kiba gulping and then sharing all the thoughts about Bill Cipher and ONLY Bill Cipher. Nothing about his interactions with Lisette. And after nearly a minute's worth, Dusknoir shuddered in fear. He felt... overwhelming digust. Horror. Terror. And above all else? Anger. At himself.

"How... How could something so vile curse this world? And he plans to usurp Arceus as god of the universe?" Dusknoir asked.

"And he grows in power if the world is in turmoil. And it'd only be a matter of time if he manages to stop it entirely. A world filled with turmoil, a planet without time... a UNIVERSE without time, even! Imagine all the horrible things he would do," Kiba gulped, Dusknoir sighing at this.

"I... I need to go and have a conscious think to myself... please, excuse me," Dusknoir admitted as he then left the town towards the west and hovered his way down to the beach. He needed to cool his mind in the ocean waves for a bit. And while he thouhgt of his real intentions in all of this, Marill and Azurill rushed down past Kecleon Wares, which surprised the two shopowners and Rainbow Illusion.

"Oh, where are you off to in such a hurry, brothers Marill and Azurill?" the green Kecleon asked them.

"We found out that the item we've been searching for is actually lying on the beach! We're getting on our way to find it!" Marill smiled. And off in the distance, listening in, was Koffing and Zubat, them smirking and going off to their boss with the intel, so that they could mess with their new foes.

"May we ask what it is, per chance?" Kiba asked.

"It's a Water Float. It's something that Azurill had when he was born, but one day, he lost it. We've been looking for it ever since, and now we can find it!" Marill smirked.

"I can't wait to find it again! It's been almost a year since it went missing!" Azurill smirked, the duo then running down the road at a leisurely pace and for the Kecleon brothers to look at each other with a smile.

"So, do you happen to have anything you wanted to ask us, Rainbow Illusion?... And where's miss Lisette?" the blue Kecleon asked them.

"We actually wanted to ask if you had any plans to stock up Perfect Apples?" Diancie smiled.

"Um... unfortunately, we have no such plans," Kecleon green said.

"That's a shame. And as for where Liz is at, she got this new item out of nowhere from an enemy of the shadow guy, Bill Cipher. And it's supposedly able to let her go into people's minds and fight their bad sides from the inside. She's testing it out while we do our jobs," Kiba smirked, Gir frowning at the stuff before then poking Kiba's horn and smiling at how she was able to hear his thoughts when she did so.

"Me hear all thoughts... oh... oh nyo..." she gawked before then removing her finger from the horn after seeing just a few things of what Bill Cipher had done, her gulping after. "He... bad guy bad! Bad guy BAD!" she said in concern, which Diancie petted her as the trio then bid farewell to the Kecleon and went back to Chatot to deliver the bad news. And after that, they'd need to do some more jobs at Apple Woods without their leader and get Perfect Apples at the same time.

After being in Bellsprout's mind for long enough, I then discovered why he was so afraid of fire. Apparently he was in a forest fire when he was just a toddler and it ended up with him losing his older brother and sister as well as his father. His mother had hid him and her in a cave and they managed to wait out the rest of the fire, after losing his family... and because of that, he'd blamed himself for it, even though he did nothing about it. And I had to help him realize that he didn't do a thing to cause all of that, and it was actually a natural accident, with heat lightning being the cause. And after helping him out, I then got a hug from the little flower before then exiting his mind by pinching myself and I found myself back right in my mind. And after doing so, I looked at a nearby clock and saw it was almost noon.

"Did it work? How do you feel, Bellsprout?" Camerupt asked, the flower looking at the duo and smiling at them.

"I'm sorry, guys... I now know why I was so afraid of fire... but now? I just want a hug," he said, him getting a hug from both of them and me, which I saw that the Ponyta's flame mane didn't hurt any of us whatsoever, meaning that all of us earned his trust.

"How about we go ahead and go do that job we got at the cafe, Liz? You and us, teaming up to take out a nasty Annihilape at Mount Horn that's known to beat other Pokemon to death? We can give you all the reward too, if you want," Bellsprout smiled, me shaking my head.

"I'll only accept if it's split 50/50 like normal," I said, the little flower then putting his leaf hand out and for me to then shake it.

"Deal," he smirked as best he could from his circular mouth.
