The Specter Family Chronicles
Chapter Zero: The Beginning of Mike and Harvey
Nine Months Ago
March 12th, 2017
Mike and Harvey's First Kiss
Pearson, Specter, Litt
It's late. Almost midnight, and they've all been slaving away, working their butts off. Jessica and Louis had left almost thirty minutes ago, now it's just Mike, Donna, Rachel, and Harvey, spread out on the floor of the partners office (Harvey is on the couch, obviously), going through files for their most recent case. He has been pushing them to work harder, trying to push away the desires that have built up inside of him. His sister told him that he should act on them, but he doesn't want to ruin what he has. If he acts on those desires, those feelings, and things go wrong, it could ruin everything. Donna stood and said that she's going to get them some food, and Rachel said she would go with Donna. So, now it's Mike and Harvey, working in silence. The younger man is lying on his stomach, on the floor, highlighting things, chewing the lid of his pen in his mouth. Harvey was watching his associate, really, he should be concentrating but he can't. He hasn't been able to concentrate since he came to the realization that he has feelings for said associate. Donna seems to think that Mike will reciprocate those feelings, but he is afraid. He's scared of giving Mike all of himself. There are so many things that he doesn't even know about himself, that he still needs to work through before he can give someone all of himself. He's tempted to tell Mike to leave for the evening, save himself the trouble of trying to navigate these feelings that have settled in his body. He looks away for a moment, frowning in that typical Harvey Specter fashion, then when he goes to take another look at Mike, the young lawyer is also looking at him. There is a blush on Mike's cheeks as he quickly looks away, but it's enough for Harvey to put his file down and ask Mike to come and sit beside him. If he is going to do this, he isn't going to sit on the floor to do it. Reluctantly, and with the blush seeming to crawl up more of his face, Mike stood and moved to take a seat on the couch beside his boss. Harvey asked Mike if he was feeling okay, because he was a little red in the face. Mike raised his hands to his face, noting that he felt warm, suggesting to Harvey that he might be coming down with something. He saw the smirk on the older lawyer's face, and if possible, began to blush even harder.
Once again, there was silence in the office. Harvey didn't know how to approach the topic of what he wants to talk about, but Mike had removed his hands from his face, and was looking down at them, now in his lap. Harvey, hearing his sisters' words in his mind, and feeling bold all of a sudden, raised his hand to caress Mike's cheek, rubbing his thumb softly over his cheek bone, the young man looked up, making eye contact with Harvey, and the moment that hazel met blue, Harvey knew that there was something there between the two of them. Mike looked between Harvey's eyes, and quickly glanced at the man's lips, before he was surprised by Harvey bringing them closer together. He whispered something that Mike didn't catch, and was about to ask him to repeat it, when he felt a pair of warm lips on his. It was like everything he had been feeling rushed to the surface, and when he felt Mike kiss him back, he pulled the younger man closer to him, grabbing his face with hands, thumbs softly caressing cheekbones, whilst Mike had his hands on Harvey's chest. They broke apart, but didn't move away from one another, and Mike raised a hand to his lips as if to ask himself if that really happened. Harvey looked like he'd been knocked off his feet, and had fallen onto that couch, finally with the recognition of the things he'd been feeling. Mike was the one who brought them back together. He grabbed the lapels of Harvey's suit and pulled them together, moving to straddle Harvey's waist. The closer was surprised, but didn't protest the move, if he got to kiss Mike more, then he was happy. He's… he's happy. The smile was lost in the kisses that Mike was pressing to his lips, as they both adjusted to this change in their relationship. When Mike tried to move them forwards, as in towards something more, Harvey moved the 'puppy' off his lap and stood up, moving to the other side of the room to prevent himself from rushing forward. He so desperately wants to, but he wants to do things right as well, and take Mike on a date first. When he mentioned this to the other occupant of his office, Mike nodded. He stood up as well, straightening his suit jacket, and was looking between the floor and Harvey again. He asked what this means for their relationship now, how they're going to do this. Harvey didn't have the answers right now. He stepped towards Mike, whispering that he doesn't know, but they're going to work it out together, then he kissed Mike again, holding him as close as he possibly could. They didn't break apart until they heard cheering. He looked up to see Donna and Rachel outside his office, dancing around.
'I think we might have been outed,' Mike said in a whisper, still close to Harvey's lips, caressing his (boyfriends?) cheek.
'I don't care. I have you Mike, I'm not letting you go,' Harvey whispered again, kissing the young lawyer.
'Okay, so we get that this is all new and whatever, but we do have to finish all of this work,' Donna said, placing the food on the table in Harvey's office, arms crossed eyebrow raised in typical Donna fashion.
'Yes. Right. We should… Mike have you found anything that could help us?' Harvey asked, separating, and going back to work as if someone had flicked a switch, Mike was caught in the whiplash for a moment, but recovered strong.

Mike's Apartment
Brooklyn, New York
Harvey had finished his meeting. Like always, when he has a meeting with Groff, it was a drag. But the man had said something that had resonated with him, that made him think. He had said to Harvey that he 'shouldn't waste his life being afraid', even though he is a fabulous lawyer. For some reason, that had sat with him, so when he asked Ray to drive him towards Mike's apartment, he knew that it was for his benefit. It's his associates first day off, in what feels like… years. Harvey didn't think it would be that big of a deal, however when he got to work, and was reminded by Donna, that he would need to 'pick another associate for the day', he was quickly knocked back into reality, and reminded that Mike wasn't going to be here. That is why he finds himself knocking on the door to Mike's apartment, and waiting, until he hears the clicks of the locks, and then the door is opened, and Mike is standing in front of him, wearing lounge clothes, and his glasses. His hair is a mess (which isn't unusual), but for some reason, that just makes Harvey fall for Mike even more. The young man invites him in, a little surprised, because he's sure that Donna would've reminded him that it's his day off. Harvey placed his things down on the small table in the dining area, then turned to look at Mike, and without thinking, he pulled Mike into him, kissing him. Somehow, they found their way to Mike's couch, and Harvey's jacket had been removed, and Mike's arms are wrapped around Harvey's neck, and the older mans around his waist, holding him in place, as they essentially "made out like teenagers". Mike wasn't complaining… until he heard Harvey's phone ringing in the distance, and then Harvey pulled away. Mike sat up, curling into the end of the sofa, watching as Harvey fiddled with his jacket, before finally retrieving his phone. He turned to look at Mike who just nodded, already knowing that Harvey was going to have to leave. There was a silent conversation between the two, then Harvey asked Mike what he's 'doing on Friday'. Mike made a joke about a "date with his boss", before the phone rang again, and Harvey declared that he definitely has to go. Mike didn't stop to think about what had just happened, until he got a text back from Harvey, with details for their "date". Not sure of what he was supposed to reply back with his just sent a smiling winking face. It wasn't a normal occurrence, his boss… stopping by his apartment… to make out with him. Mike grabbed some popcorn and his glasses, and returned to his sofa, trying to forget what had just happened, by occupying his mind with a movie.
It's only been three days since they kissed, and whilst they have both agreed that this is a "relationship", Harvey has done his best to not let anyone else know that they're in a "relationship". He's planning their first date, to be at the condo, and the only people that know about them, are Rachel and Donna. Somewhere, in the back of his mind, Mike knows that something is wrong about that, but it's clouded by the emotion he feels for Harvey… the ones that he is now allowed to feel without fear of being rejected by his boss. Oh god… I'm literally sleeping with my boss…' Mike thought to himself, as he placed the bowl of popcorn on the table and stood up. He began pacing the small apartment, running his hands through his hair, mumbling to himself, as if having a conversation with another person. Sure, he could probably talk to Grammy… she wouldn't tell anyone. But he doesn't know how to explain it to her, without her asking questions… questions that he couldn't answer even if he knew what was going on… but he doesn't…. because he can't get inside Harvey's mind to know what the man is thinking. Clearly, there was something that went haywire in his brain when he rocked up here to make out like a teenager on his couch. The whole "client inspired me" thing… that is bullshit. Right? Mike asked himself, but of course got no reply. It was late in the afternoon, almost four pm, when he heard a knock on his door, and thinking that it might have been Harvey again (so sue him), he ran to answer it. He opened it, surprised to see that it was his neighbour Sally, a smile on her face, and a plate in her hand. She and Mike had become great friends ever since she and her daughter had moved in here about a year ago. He hesitates to call her family because everyone in his "family" seems to leave him, and he doesn't want that to happen, so he just calls Sally his 'best friend'. It's close enough without being too close. The brunette woman hands Mike a plate of cookies, explaining that her daughter had a bake sale, and she had baked way too many, that they couldn't eat them all. Knowing that Sally thinks he's 'too thin', he thanked her and promised that he would eat them all up. They talked for a bit, she asked about the man who had stopped by earlier, and Mike said that it was just his 'boss', because he didn't know what else to say. 'Oh, he's, my boyfriend?' he didn't think that would sit right. So, he just settled for the partial truth.
'He's handsome Mike. Is he gay?' Sally asked, winking at him.
'I don't know. Harvey is very personal. He doesn't really share much about himself,' Mike replied, looking anywhere but at Sally, which he knows is a tell, but he doesn't care.
'I'll be keeping an eye on him Mike. If he hurts you, I'll hurt him… I want details later too,' she said, winking as she re-entered her apartment.
'There isn't anything between us…' Mike went to say, but stopped knowing that Sally was like Donna… she just knows… there isn't any point trying to argue with her, because she just… knows…

Midday
Manhattan, New York
Mike had been swamped with work all day, and had barely had time to eat anything, let alone plan what he was going to wear on his date. Donna had been down to the file room, where Mike had locked himself away, and told him that she had 'brought him the perfect suit' to wear. Without looking up from what he was doing, Mike just nodded, and promised her that he would 'wear it'. After that, she had left him alone to continue on with his work. It was around midday, just after one, that Harvey found him. Their case was on the edge, and he was mad that Mike was working on Louis' things before working on 'their actual case'. For the most part, their work relationship status hasn't changed. A good thing? Mike isn't sure yet, but this argument they have had many times before. Mike didn't even bother answering the question, he knew it would only end in them not speaking to each other, and today he can't be bothered fighting about stupid shit. Apparently, Harvey didn't come down here to fight, he was just using that as his excuse to "take Mike in the file room". So, when he felt himself pressed up against the racks, with Harvey pressed against him, lips connected, heat coursing through their bodies, Mike didn't take a moment to think about how this would look if someone were to walk in. Harvey pulled away, then straightened himself up, as said something about this 'never happening again', before he left the room, and Mike just standing there, wondering what the heck had just happened. So, for the rest of the day he just worked from his makeshift office. He ignored Donna's calls, he skipped lunch with Rachel, he didn't even attend the Associates Meeting, and Louis didn't even notice that he was missing. This whole thing… this "relationship" or whatever the fuck it is… it's going to kill him. He just knows it, because whilst he "has" Harvey he's never going to "have" Harvey in the way that he wants… and that is why Mike is taking it slow… that is why he's trying not to put too much into this relationship. He doesn't want to get hurt. At two o'clock, Jessica tracks him down, working on his files in the file room, and asks him how his day is going. Mike continues to work, whilst answering her questions, and he knows that she's fishing for something… when she brings up the fifteenth, he understands what she is trying to get at. She wants to know where Harvey was… Mike just tells her that he 'doesn't fucking track him like Harvey does', which probably wasn't the best response, but he's sick of being interrogated. He grabs his files and leaves the room.
Donna always knows what is going on. She prides herself on being the 'know it all' of the office. She is the queen, head of the Secretary Committee, she makes up for the brash and cold Harvey Specter. What she hadn't seen coming, was the kiss that Harvey and Mike had shared, not even a week ago. She knew that her boss had feelings for his associate, but she didn't expect him to share them so… suddenly. That, she didn't see coming, and she sees everything… what made it worse, was that Rachel was there, and now Harvey is afraid that everyone else knows, and he's hurting Mike because of it. This isn't a 'midlife crisis'. He's just afraid to fully embrace who he really is. He's afraid to embrace what Mike will make him become… and Donna…. she is afraid that Harvey will destroy Mike… and that makes her sad. Because she loves them both (as family) and she doesn't want either of them to be hurt, but if it comes down to it (and she's hoping that it doesn't), it will be Mike that gets hurt the most, because he has the most to lose. So, when she watches Harvey as he stalks off to 'find Mike', she knows what he really means, and when he comes back, looking happier and sated, she knows what just happened. There isn't anything she can say, she wouldn't know what to say if she did. She has been rooting for this for so long, and yes, she thinks they will make an amazing couple… but this is Harvey Specter we're talking about. Mike is an innocent puppy. He knows Harvey sure, but they're both flying over dangerous waters and if one of them falls, they're not going to be able to get back up. A phone call comes in just as Donna thinks up an idea for their first date, and she is loathed to answer it, but notices that it's one of Harvey's important clients. Gideon Raider is a big wig in New York. He owns like 'everything' and thinks that he can do no wrong… apparently, he was 'wrong' about that, because he calls to set up meetings with Harvey whenever he's in legal trouble… and that is a lot more than people think. She schedules the meeting for the day after Harvey and Mike's first date, deliberately. Because Harvey always gets frustrated with Raider, and she doesn't want him to take it out on Mike… because he will. Jessica approaches her desk not long after two pm and asks what is going on. She knows that Donna knows something because Donna always knows something. Harvey is listening, and answers the question for Donna, laughing when Jessica fails to turn off the 'broken' intercom. He just shakes his head at her, and she leaves defeated. Donna turns to leave her desk and enters Harvey's office. He looks up at her.
'Don't hurt him Harvey,' she says, and it's somewhat motherly.
'Donna…'
'DON'T! I know you. You know you. Mike… he knows that he's never going to get all of you. So, don't hurt him… okay?' Donna said, turning to leave the office, and return to her desk.
'I don't even know what that means. All of me? What is that?' Harvey asks himself, getting up to pour himself a drink.

First Date
Harvey's Condo
Manhattan, New York
Mike knocked on the door to the large penthouse apartment. He's been here before, many times, but for some reason, this feels like the first. Harvey had asked him out on a date, after they kissed, almost a week ago now. He had wanted to make this special, the night perfect. It was Donna, who opened the door, and invited Mike inside. The young lawyer didn't realise that Donna was going to be at their first date, nor did he think she was going to be involved in their first date. The red head led him down the hallway, into the spacious living, kitchen, and dining area, then told him to wait. She ran down the hallway connected to the bedrooms and entered what Mike thought was the master bedroom. He was nervous. He doesn't know why. He and Harvey had kissed a week ago, and now they're here. So, what about this was so nerve wracking? Mike had worn his best suit a.k.a. Donna had brought him one over last night and demanded that he wear it. Sure, it's a nice suit, but Mike had never really been one for the tighter suits. He was always needing room in the leg, to get comfortable, so the fabric wouldn't pull. But she had insisted, and Mike is more scared of Donna than he is of this suit, so he wore it, and if the look on Harvey's face when he came out of the bedroom (finally) was any indication of anything, it was that he couldn't take his eyes off him, and gaping… not really a Harvey Specter emotion you see often. Donna poked him in the side, then smiled at Mike, before moving into the kitchen. Harvey was still at the stage where he wanted people to know that Mike was his, but he didn't at the same time. That's why he decided they would have their first date here. Harvey walked over and kissed Mike in greeting, holding him close when he whispered how sexy Mike looked in 'that suit'. Donna sent him a subtle wink, and he thanked Harvey, telling him that he looks amazing also. The balcony had been done up for their date, and it was lucky that it was still fall, and not overtly cold, so they couldn't sit outside. There was a single candle, and it was beautiful, the sun was setting over the New York skyline, and the way that it illuminated Harvey's face… It was perfect, punctuated by Donna bringing out food and drinks, bowing dramatically and causing Mike to laugh, whilst Harvey just rolled his eyes, but had a fond smile on his face. Not something Mike would ever see at the office. He's sure that he would never see any of this side of Harvey again, mostly because this is like an eclipse… once in a lifetime.
Once they had finished their first drink, they just sat talking for the longest time. About nothing, about everything, even Harvey lamenting that he thinks Mike's taste in movies is 'barely a passing grade'. It was the first time that Mike had seen Harvey smile… like a real, genuine smile, and he couldn't believe that it was aimed at him. Donna, as always, had perfect timing with each of their meals. Once their desert was served, she bid them goodnight, telling them both that she wants 'all the details' in the morning. Harvey waved his hand at her, and she winked then left. For the most part, the night had been amazing. The way that Donna had decorated the balcony, the lights both from the fairy lights and the city lights were just the perfect ambiance. After they had finished desert, Harvey took Mike's hand, and led him inside. For a moment, Mike thought they would go straight to the bedroom, but they didn't. Harvey grabbed a record off the shelf, and put it on, then bowed and asked Mike to dance with him. Of course, the younger man wasn't that good, but he let Harvey lead, and managed to make it out alive, without stepping on toes or missing a step. They stayed just swaying like that for… he doesn't even know how long. But it was perfect. Everyone always says that the first date needs to be big, needs to be epic, but Mike was happy with this. He liked that it was just the two of them, moving around Harvey's condo, swaying to music that Mike secretly liked, but would never admit to. If he'd had to describe his perfect date, this would be it. Somehow Donna had gotten inside his very genius mind and pulled this out like it was nothing. Eventually, when the music died off, Harvey pressed a soft kiss to Mike's lips, wanting so badly to continue, to deepen the kiss, to move this to the bedroom, but he had promised himself mostly, that he would not sleep with Mike on the first date. He wanted to prove to Mike and himself that he could do that. So, reluctantly he pulled away. They fell on to the couch together and curled up under a blanket. Harvey put a movie on, whilst they just got to know each other's mouths a little better, the movie in the background proving a useful distraction sometimes. Of course, Mike fell asleep, and woke curled up to Harvey in his bed, but he felt safe. He felt loved. He felt wanted, there in the arms of his boss/boyfriend of a week. Mike had to take a picture… so he did, and Harvey looked at him like he'd stolen his soul. He doesn't like to have his picture taken when it isn't necessary, but he didn't complain when it was Mike. He knows his feelings, and he knows that Mike's feelings are the same. But still, he had to ask. It was his ego.
'Why are you always taking photos of me?' he asked, as he curled further into Mike, the sun beginning to illuminate the room.
'Moments I want to remember forever,' Mike replied, and Harvey scoffed.
'Mike, you have an eidetic memory. You will never forget this moment,' Harvey said, almost as if Mike had forgotten.
'I know. But if at some point in the future, you forget this moment… I will have a photo to remind you, of just how amazing this is,' Mike replied, and something about that response made Harvey kiss Mike again, like he was almost saying that it would be there if 'he' ever forgot.

Morning After the First Date
The Condo/Connor Springs Park
Manhattan, New York
Harvey got up at about seven, telling Mike that he's going to make them breakfast, that if Mike wants to shower, he can. Then the closer left the room, whilst Mike just forced himself to sit up. Donna had told him to bring an overnight bag, with a change of clothes, all this said with a lewd wink and teasing tone. Mike didn't think he'd be staying the night. He certainly didn't think that Harvey would cook breakfast for him either. Then again, it's Saturday. What else do they have to do today? Mike did get up and shower, changing into the clothes he brought with him last night, then wandering out to the kitchen, and taking a seat on the barstool, watching whilst Harvey basically danced around his kitchen, cooking everything and anything. It was this side of Harvey… this carefree, kind of sappy… almost overtly gay Harvey that he didn't think he would ever get to see. Mike thought that Harvey had people cook for him. This was surprising to the lawyer, who just chuckled, then stated that he 'loves to cook', to which Mike retorted with something along the line of 'me too', and then they began debating who was the better cook, with Mike trying (and failing) to win his argument in 'Harvey's Court of Law'. After that, they stayed away from any touchy subjects, and tried to find something, or someone, else to talk about. Harvey ended up telling Mike stories about his college years, and some of the most ludicrous pranks that he and his old friend Finch used to play on Louis all those years ago. Mike didn't believe most of them but acted like he did. It wouldn't do for Harvey's ego to be hurt. This, said aloud by the young man, caused Harvey to grab him, press his mouth to Mike's, and kiss him until Mike 'apologised to his ego'. It was the most couplie thing that they had done since they had "become a couple?" Mike was still unsure on the details. Harvey hasn't even mentioned the whole 'sex' thing yet, even though Mike has tried to push them a little bit further each time, it has always been stopped by Harvey. That is why he thinks this whole thing is just a sham. Harvey just wants to get it 'out of his system'. Mike can't help but jump to these conclusions, that's just who he is, and when you've been let down so many times… well it just sort of happens. That is just how you come to think of things. It's how he protects himself.
After they had finished breakfast, Mike helped with the dishes, whilst Harvey just spent his time telling stories about his sister, and her escapades with her children and husband. Mike was intently listening to them, he had never even known that Harvey had a sister until this point, and he didn't even pry for it, Harvey just brought it up himself. Once the dishes were done, it was almost eleven thirty. Harvey told Mike that he had some things to do today, that he would have Ray drive him home. It's always awkward, the morning after… but they didn't even have sex. It shouldn't be awkward, and okay Mike thought maybe they could do something together, but he knew better than to get his hopes up. So, when Harvey ushered him out the door, then waited with him for Ray, then kissed him once before he got in the town car, Mike didn't know what to think. He thanked Ray when they reached his building, and that was all that was said. Nothing else was muttered. Harvey didn't text him or call him, and to be honest, Mike had spent most of the weekend thinking he'd done something wrong. Arriving home just after midday, he caught Sally as she and her daughter Callie were leaving to go to the park, offering for Mike to join them. He was reluctant, not wanting to run into Sally's ex again, but she promised that he was 'in Baltimore', so Mike thought it would be good. He threw his bag into his apartment, locking it again, before turning to catch up to Sally. It was good too because the park was right near where Grammy was staying, so he could just go visit her afterwards. On the way to the park, Mike talked about what had happened with Harvey, and she had told him to 'not give up'. That was hard for Mike to do because he so badly wanted to protect himself from getting hurt, that he didn't want to allow himself the opportunity, but he knew that if he wanted Harvey to open himself up, he would have to do the same. Sally talked to him about her new job, why her ex was in Baltimore (and how she hoped he stayed there), and Mike listened to her talk. This is his best friend, and aside from Grammy… he considers Sally his family. Whether she thinks the same or not, that is what he thinks. Callie giggled as Mike pretended to be a monster as she came down the slide, and her mother lifted her up and flew her around like an airplane, then at three, Mike parted from the girls to visit Grammy. He slumped down on to the guest chair and put his head in his hands.
'Michael, you are too caught up in the past. If Harvey is the one that you want, you need to let yourself want that. If you get hurt… then you need to hurt… sometimes, that's just how it is,' Grammy said, when he had complained for the ump-teenth time.
'I love him Grammy. I know that I love him, and I know that he's never going to love me the same way. He basically kicked me out this morning… and we didn't even have sex. It was just a date… what does that tell you?' Mike said, frustrated.
'That he's scared. He knows that having sex is something that you take seriously, and he doesn't want to rush into it. He wants to show you that he's serious. That's what I make of that,' Grammy said, nodding as if that proved her point.
'Wow…' was all Mike managed, then dodged a smack from his Grammy, laughing.

Harvey and Mike's "First Time"
One Month Anniversary
The Condo
It had taken a month… A MONTH…for Mike to convince Harvey that he was 'ready to have sex'. Donna had even told Harvey that he was being 'a little ridiculous' now. Don't they know how much Harvey has wanted to have Mike naked, and writhing under him in pleasure? He thinks about it every night… hell he's been thinking about that for six months. That is all he's wanted since he kissed Mike a month ago. Now it's their anniversary, and he knows that tonight…tonight is the night…Harvey was cooking dinner, whilst Mike worked at the counter using the excuse 'my boss is an ass' to satisfy Harvey, who just raised an eyebrow and smirked. They had not yet gone to the next level in their relationship. Mike had tried on many occasions, but the furthest he had gotten, was getting off whilst grinding against Harvey, still fully clothed. It was like he was back in high school, and it was his first time, so he was nervous. Of course, he is nervous when it comes to Harvey because the man has had a lot more experience than he has, and he's worried that he won't be good enough, or live up to the hype or anything like that. He doesn't have to read a handbook to know the ins and outs of sex though. He's been there once before. This is the fifth time this week that he's "slept over" at Harvey's. They eat dinner, curl up and watch and movie, then go to bed. It's rather boring. Mike wants to change that tonight, and hopefully he will be able to. Harvey is quite happy with their relationship how it is. Sex complicates things. To be honest, he wants Mike. He's wanted Mike since the moment he met the kid, and it's hard enough keeping his pants on now, but for the last month… he's been dying to take his and Mike's pants off. He's been trying to convince Mike that their relationship isn't just about the sex though. But maybe he's been more trying to convince himself that he needs Mike. That he wants the man in that way. He watches Mike from the corner of his eye, highlighting things, working hard, doing the files that he gave to him. Of course, he's an ass at the office, that's his reputation. He can't go soft on Mike; people will start to think that he'll be that way to everyone. He has to keep that wall up at the firm. Donna tells him that's ridiculous, so does his sister. He's beginning to believe them, and that is the terrifying part. Mike has, for the most part, been good at keeping their private business private. But he overheard him telling the paralegal that they've done nothing more than 'high school shit', which Harvey wants so badly to change. He's so lost in these thoughts, that he doesn't realise the dinner he's cooking is boiling until Mike is shouting to him. He quickly turns off the stove, and places a lid on the pot, letting it simmer, whilst he prepares their plates. Mike is asking if he's alright, Harvey just nods as he walks past the younger man, their hands brushing as Mike had reached out to him, and Harvey feels it… that electricity that Mike had described feeling when he's near Harvey. It shoots straight to his crotch.
They eat dinner curled together on the couch, watching reruns of the comedy channel shows, and Mike can't believe that Harvey actually laughs at some of these. He imagined the man just watching documentaries, and the news. He never actually thought that Harvey even knew what the comedy channel was, let alone watched it. Harvey explains to Mike that he had grown up with a lot of these shows, and quite enjoys re-watching them, then made him promise that he wouldn't spread that around the office. Mike winked and promised that he wouldn't. It wasn't long before Harvey suggested they head to bed. Mike noted that it was only nine o'clock, but followed his boyfriend, turning the TV off and the lights as they went. When they got to the bedroom, Mike sat on his side of the bed, whilst Harvey disappeared into the bathroom. Mike heard the water turn on, and then what sounded like Harvey brushing his teeth. The young lawyer felt awkward, sitting there in his boyfriend's bedroom, as though he was intruding, even though they're dating. He's wearing one of Harvey's old Harvard t-shirts and a pair of his old sweatpants. Something about wearing Harvey's clothes just… he was pulled out of his thoughts by the sound of the bathroom light flicking off, then he felt the bed dip behind him. He was about to ready himself to go to sleep, but he felt Harvey behind him, hands on his shoulders, massaging him, pressing soft kisses down his neck, jaw, shoulders… Mike moaned, letting Harvey control whatever he was doing. Eventually Mike moved so that he was facing Harvey, both up on their knees, mouths connected in a heated kiss, hands fisting in shirts, in hair. Then he felt Harvey's hands move to cup his ass, and then his shirt was being lifted over his head. Harvey tossed it away, lying Mike down on the bed. He kissed down Mike's now exposed torso, until he reached a nipple. He licked at it, sending shivers through Mike's body. The younger man preened at the attention to his nipples, wanting that attention back on his lips, he pulled Harvey up, kissing him again, this time he pulled Harvey's shirt off, throwing it to the side. For a moment, they stilled, just looking at each other, a silent conversation happening, then a nod. Mike flipped so that he could give Harvey the attention he had given him moments ago. He had Harvey emitting groans in no time, then sat back up so that he was straddling Harvey's waist. He waited for a moment, then felt Harvey's fingers play at the waistband of his sweatpants. He just whispered Harvey's name into the man's mouth, and Harvey removed the last two items Mike had on, not shy about checking out his boyfriend at that moment, completely naked in front of him.
'Don't be shy Mike. You're gorgeous,' Harvey whispered, kissing down towards the spot that Mike was desperate for him to take.
'Uh… Harvey…' Mike moaned, as Harvey bit at the inside of his thigh
'Mike, tell me what you want,' Harvey asked, as the older lawyer finally licked his way up Mike's member, then took it into his mouth.
'Uh… fuck… uh… oh yes… take me Harvey. Make me yours,' Mike managed to get out, whilst Harvey worked his erection.
It didn't take long for Harvey to also get naked. Mike looked away, shy, until Harvey kissed him, telling him that he's allowed to look. He's the only one. Mike bit his bottom lip, and looked over at the man lying beside him, he had to take a moment to take everything in. Harvey is gorgeous. He can't believe that this is about to happen, but he desperately wants it to. Harvey grabs the lube and a condom from the draw beside his bed, almost forgetting what he was doing when he felt Mike's mouth close around his erection. He wanted to feel that mouth around him. Once he had deposited what he needed beside him, he landed on his back, and Mike took him in his mouth. Harvey fisted a hand in his hair, the other one fisted in the sheets, in times with Mike's mouth, bringing him closer. But he wanted to come inside of Mike. He pulled the man up, and kissed him, then he eagerly took his place back on the bed and watched as Harvey prepared to prep him. Mike had wanted to watch Harvey's finger sink into his body, but the older man had come up to kiss him, working the first finger into his hole, stretching him open just a little to begin with. It was almost like Harvey was torturing him with pleasure. Harvey soon introduced a second finger, making Mike moan his name in a way that he wanted to hear again and again. He teased a nipple, made sure that he left a hickey on Mike, then went back down to where he could suck and pleasure at the same time. Mike wasn't expecting the third finger, his back arching into the feeling that shot through him, panting clutching at the sheets like a lifeline. He managed to get out that he just wanted Harvey to take him and watched as the older man put the condom on, lubed himself up and lined himself up at Mike's hole. Mike wrapped a leg around Harvey's back to give him the perfect angle. Without another thought, Harvey thrust into the tight, warm hole, moaning Mike's name as both let the sensation wash through their bodies. Harvey bent down to kiss Mike, moaning his name in the man's mouth. The young lawyer bucked his hips, and Harvey began to pull out, slowly, before thrusting back in, so that he was buried balls deep in his boyfriend. Mike moaned loudly, and Harvey was thankful that he didn't have neighbours.
Harvey powered forwards, wanting to hold onto this sensation for as long as he could. He watched Mike below him as he thrust in and out of the beautiful, sexy, gorgeous man below him. Mike gripped Harvey's arms to steady himself, one hand jerking himself in time with Harvey's quickening thrusts. He could feel himself rushing towards the edge, and he wanted to make sure that Mike was there with him. The sounds that Mike was making, he wanted to hear those again and again. There was something in the back of his throat, threatening to unleash itself. He quickened the pace again, leaning down to kiss Mike. This caused the position to shift slightly, and Mike let out a loud throaty moan that Harvey almost lost it at. He shifted them again, and Mike made the same sound. Mike's fingernails were digging into his back, cupping his ass, pulling him closer if ever possible, asking for Harvey to 'go hard'. He didn't want to hurt Mike, but he wanted to 'fuck him like he's never been fucked before' as well. Soon enough, Harvey felt himself heading towards an orgasm. Mike nodded at Harvey silent question, and soon the young man was coming between their stomachs, almost a scream coming from him as he let the orgasm overtake him. Harvey thrusts into the willing body a couple more times, then let his orgasm take him, moaning Mike's name. He collapsed onto the bed, feeling Mike's hands slowly running through his hair, as they both came down from their high. Harvey shifted to move out of Mike, feeling the other man shudder. He tied off the condom and threw it towards the bin, then grabbed a tissue to clean Mike up. When it was all done, he fell onto his back, and rolled over to Mike, pulling him close and kissing him. Mike placed a hand on his cheek, and they laid just facing one another, still coming down from their highs. Eventually, they fell asleep in each other's arms. Mike had dreamed that night, of just nights like they had been having before, but he was completely and thoroughly fucked by his boyfriend, and he lamented that it was the 'perfect first time for them'. When he woke in the morning, he ran his hand through Harvey's hair, and pressed a soft kiss to his lips, causing Harvey to wrap his arms around him, pulling him close. Mike kissed his neck, his chest, his lips. Harvey's eyes fluttered, but didn't open, and in that moment, with the sunlight streaming through the gap in the curtains, Harvey was bathed in that golden light, Mike never wanted to forget that. Sitting up, he grabbed his phone, and took a picture, just for himself. Then he laid back down.
'If that gets out to anyone else, I will sue you,' Harvey muttered, nibbling at Mike's earlobe.
'It won't. It's just for me,' Mike whispered, looking at the picture again, before closing his phone
'You are perfect Mike. Last night was perfect,' Harvey said.
'Yes. It was perfect Harvey, and you're not so bad yourself,' Mike said, still blushing at the thought of naked Harvey.
A/N: I never thought I would come back to this website. Yet, here I am. Ah who am I kidding? I love this place. It's the best place to just unleash everything on to the internet, in a creative way. I have been writing this story for years. It's over sixty chapters long at this point! I know right... :p
