Hey guys and welcome to my newest story, which will be a replacement for my Pokemon Mirror war story since I wanted to try doing something more original.
Anyway, this story is called Remnants within the Mirror, that's right, a crossover between Rwby and Kamen Rider…Dragon Knight!.
That's right, I decided to do a Kamen Rider Dragon Knight story since, to be honest, I found that I Just like that show more.
Now while this kind of story has been done a lot, I'm also hoping that I can put my spin on it.
So with that said, let's do this!

Remnant
Vale
Third-person P.O.V.
In the city of Vale, it was pitch black, and very few people walking through the streets unless they were attempting to make their way back home.
One of these people was a suited woman, who was making her way down to the car park so she could return to her home.
However as she walked past each of the cars, we see from the reflection the silhouettes of some kind of creature.
"Huh?" She blinked, looking behind her only to see nothing "Weird…thought I sensed something".
She continued looking through for her keys, not noticing from behind her that several came out before wrapping.
"Huh?! Ah!" She screamed as she was dragged into the car's reflection "SOMEBODY! ANYBODY! HELP ME!".
Elsewhere in the city, a man was walking down the street, he had short black with blue eyes and was wearing a long black trench coat with a purple shirt and blue trousers with a pair of sunglasses over it.
'This place… it's changed so much since…' he thought when suddenly he heard a strange sound coming from the window.
"Finally," he said, before turning towards a window and pulling out a box with a symbol similar to a Bat on it
He soon raised his hand in front of the reflection causing the box to begin glowing.
"Wing Knight…Henshin!" he said, as the box was shooting electricity at the reflection which bounced back and hit his waist causing a metal belt to materialise around his waist.
He then slotted the box into his belt making the silhouette of an Armored warrior appear next to the man before he ran into the silhouette, making the armour attached to his body as he entered the mirror.
The armour looked like a blue knight with black armour on his chest, shoulders, feet, arms and helmet which had a clear bat motif with several lines on the visor hiding a pair of blue eyes and on his belt was a sword.
We see the armoured warrior now on a motorcycle as he rode through a void which looked to be made completely of reflective surfaces before he escaped it and emerged in the world of the mirror.
The world looked mostly the same as the city except everything was reversed and it was filled to the brim with more violent and different looking monsters walking, flying and swimming around the place.
They were much like the creatures of Grimm however these were more colourful being adorned in armour and most of them looked more humanoid
He heard screaming as he looked over to see the woman from before knocked unconscious while being held up by a large monster which was made up of several vines with black and purple armour keeping the vines together.
"Let her go!" the Armored man said, taking out a card from the box with the picture of an armoured Bat on it before inserting it into the sword.
ADVENT!
From a nearby window, a Bat monster flew out, which was Black and metallic.
"Dark wing! Use wing slash on that monster" The man said, with the now named Dark wing nodding before flying towards the monster as its wings shined before it slashed the monster knocking it back and cutting some of the vines.
The monster slowly got back up before both monsters roared at each other and began fighting.
As the monsters fought, several red and black humanoid monsters leapt down from the roofers as they made their way toward the armoured warrior.
As they ran towards him, the warrior drove his bike past them while slashing them with his sword, some tried to jump in but he spun his bike around before kicking them back.
"Tell your boss I won't be so easily defeated," he said, getting off his bike pulling out a card and placing it in his sword's hilt.
SWORD VENT!
From a window, a large spear-like weapon appeared and flew toward the man as he grabbed it and began slashing at the monsters.
Some of the monsters pulled out large X shaped shrunken and were about to attack him but he slashed them back with his spear before punching one away.
He then leapt up before stabbing the crazed monster killing it, he then pulled out another card and put it into his sword.
BLAST VENT!
The Bat monster then flew up and began waving its wings sending air slashes and gusts of wind which hit all of the monsters in the area.
He then pulled out one more card and placed it into his sword as the Bat flew down and attached to the armoured man's back becoming a cape.
FINAL VENT!
He jumped high into the air and aimed a kick at the monster as the Bat's wings wrapped around the man's body becoming a black drill.
The drill then shot towards the large vine monster causing it to explode along with the other monsters.
We see the unconscious woman flying towards the ground before being caught by the man he looked up to see several floating balls of light from the remains of the monster so he soon pulls out a card and inserts it into his weapon.
CAPTURE VENT!
He then pulled out his sword before pointing at the largest ball of light causing it to be sucked into the weapon as the bat swooped and began eating the other balls of light.
The ball then came back now as a card which was caught by the black knight revealing the card showed that it was of the monster with the words Guard Vent on it.
He soon made his way towards one of the reflective surfaces while holding on to the unconscious woman so they can both leave.
After returning to the real world, he left the woman near the police station and began walking down the street.
As he did he was met by a middle-aged man with tousled silver hair and thin brown eyes. He has a light complexion and sharp facial features. He wears shaded glass spectacles and a small, purple, cross-shaped pin on the cowl around his neck. His outfit mainly consists of an unzipped black suit over dark green, a buttoned vest and a green shirt. He also wears black trouser shoes and long, dark-green pants.
"Get out of my way," he said, walking past the man as he smirked.
"Is that any way to talk to an old friend…Wing Knight…" he said, making the man's eyes widen as he looked at the man.
"How do you know my name," he asked, as the man smirked "Oh we have a lot to talk about"
Opening: Another World by KitxLen
We see several shards of glass falling down, in some of their reflections we see different Riders and characters from Rwby.
(YEAH! If I feel my Hesitation! And if I hold myself back! I can't reach for my future! Let me go for it now!)
At night, Ethan was walking down the streets of Earth before passing by a large building.
(If I mess with the frequency up a bit, you'll be able to see it too)
He then passed by the building but in the reflection of the glass we see Kamen Rider Dragon Knight instead which slowly looked over at him as his eyes flash.
(Parallel World! Another World! With which our backs align!)
The glass then shattered as Dragon Knight leapt out, in order to attack Ethan.
(Can't! Can't! Take your eyes off)
We then see Nero on top of a building as he practices his martial arts using a Bo staff.
(Link your mind/ heart with that destiny!)
In another reflection we see Wing Knight appearing with his Lance in hand, before striking a fight stance.
(Make your mind up! Hesitating is…unforgivable!)
Wing Knight then leapt out as Nero turned ready to fight him.
(You've got! The power! You can make it!)
We then see Ethan in a black void on his knees, the Advent deck on the ground staring at him as several shards of glass fell around the area.
(The World believed in all of this! While it is ending!)
Ethan then grabbed the deck while slowly rising back up, a determined look on his face.
(Will you keep quiet and just watch?)
The scene then flashed several times before changing to Dragon Knight and Wing Knight fighting off mirror monsters.
(Let it show! You are strong! Right now is the time!)
Dragon Knight raised his Sword before thrusting his spear forwards stabbing and destroying several monsters.
(For you to become a soldier!)
More and More Mirror monsters began coming down from the sky as Wing Knight entered a fighting stance.
(Carry on! You are strong! Everyone else too!).
Wing Knight then leapt through the air and thrust his spear forward, destroying several of the monsters.
(To move on to the next stage!)
We then see Ethan and Nero standing back to back, their decks in their hands before spinning around and aiming them right at each other.
(We have to fight! You gotta stand up now!)
Then scene ends with a montage of different riders in action before ending with the title.

Dreamscape
Third-person P.O.V.
"Ugh, my head…" A young man said, shaking his head as he slowly got back up only to find himself in a black void with many pieces of shattered mirror floating around the place.
This was Ethan Smith, a 16 year old student with long brown hair and red coloured eyes. Who was currently wearing a red hoodie with a black jacket over it and brown trousers with black sneakers.
"Is this some kind of dream?…has to be unless someone kidnapped me or something" he said, looking around.
"Find it…"
"Huh?" Ethan blinked looking around "That voice…"
"You have to find it…"
Ethan soon picked up the pace as he followed the sound of the voice "Can it really be him…Dad!".
However when he reached the source of the voice all he had found was a single black box with some markings on the front and a deck of cards inside.
"What the…" he said, picking up the box and finding the symbol of a dragon on it 'A…dragon?'.
"RRRRAAAAHHHH!".
His eyes widened and he looked up to see a large mechanical red dragon flying towards him.
"A-An actual dragon?!" Ethan gasped, as he began running away however the dragon fired a blast fire at him engulfing him in a flaming tornado.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Ethan yelled, as he was engulfed in the flames.
"Do not fear the dragon…find the deck…make the contract…"
Police station
Third person P.O.V.
"Ah!" Ethan yelled, falling down before shaking his head.
"Well well, looks like Goldie locks is finally awake" Ethan heard, before looking up.
He was currently in a police stations cell, across from him was the police officer that had arrested him "You're free to go Ethan"
"Right…" he said, getting up to be escorted out of the cell.
"Listen, this is the last chance if I see you doing anything like this again-" The officer said, as Ethan looked at him.
"Like what? Helping people?" Ethan asked, as the officer crossed his arms "Beating up a group of people wouldn't be what I'd call helping".
"They were threatening somebody else! What else was meant to do just stand their" Ethan asked, as the officer sighed.
"No, but you shouldn't just jump in there you could've called me or any of the other officers" He said, as Ethan crossed his arms "You wouldn't have made it in time".
"Ethan, you're not some kind of superhero, you can't just jump into dangerous situations like that" he said, making Ethan look down.
"Listen, I know it's been difficult since your father disappeared…so I wanted to give you something" he said, handing Ethan a key.
"And this is…?" He asked, as the Officer smiled "It's a key to your old house, I thought if you went there you might be able to get some closure".
"Thanks" Ethan smiled, as the Officer nodded before the two parted ways.
As Ethan walks through the Office, we see the silhouette of someone watching him in the mirror.
Ethan's home
Third person P.O.V.
We see Ethan laying down on a bed in his room while starting at the key he was given.
It was a fairly small room, only having a small bed, a computer to his right and a closer in front of him holding not only clothes but books and comics as well, all about different kinds of heroes.
'Can't believe it's almost been a year and a half…' he thought, looking at the key while thinking about the apartment he and his dad used to live in.
For as long as he could remember, Ethan only had his father who was an officer, his mother having died due to a bus accident the two of them were in, Ethan being the only survivor.
Almost a year and a half ago while Ethan was visiting with his grandparents his father had gone missing with everyone the police had asked just saying he was in the apartment as usual, and the camera never showed him leaving. It was as if he just vanished out of thin air.
So Ethan had to live with his aunt and uncle, and their kids while continuing to go to school, something he was not exactly happy with.
'...Guess it wouldn't hurt to visit' he thought, getting up when the door to his room opened.
"I need you to hide me?" His cousin asked, making Ethan raise an eyebrow "What did you do this time Steven?".
"I was messing around in Naomi's room and hid one of her paintings as a joke" he said, making Ethan sigh.
"You can't just do that dude" he said as Steven raised an eyebrow "But you steal stuff all the time".
"Those were just…misunderstandings" he said, standing up as Steven looked at him with a deadpan look "Fine you win, I'm leaving".
Ethan soon left the room only to be met by Naomi "Where is he?".
"Right in there" he said, pointing inside as Naomi passed him to get her picture back as Ethan walked outside to get on his bike to visit his old apartment.
When he arrived at the apartment, he used his key to open the door, finding the place completely empty except for a few items and furniture.
"He really is gone…" Ethan sighed, as he walked around the rook looking at a Photo of him, his father and his mother up on the wall "Dad…where are you…?".
He noticed a small crack behind the photo, something he did not remember seeing before.
Ethan slowly moved the photo out of the way, before finding a hole in the wall with something inside.
"What…what is that?" He said, reaching inside of the hole in the wall before pulling whatever was in the wall out.
"Hmm?" He blinked, finding the black box from his dream except without the picture of a dragon on it.
"What?! But…but this is from my dream…" he said, inspecting the box in his hand "The Advent Deck…".
"Huh?" He blinked, before looking around and walking towards the door to the balcony "Dad? Dad is that you!".
He opened the door and looked around "He…he isn't here…".
"Gah…" he said, gripping his head as a strange noise ringed through his ears, his gaze following the sound of the noise before seeing the red dragon within the reflection of a skyscraper.
"That…that dragon" he gulped, stepping back as the dragon flew out of the reflection towards him.
He soon raised his hand in defense as the deck glowed before a blue barrier surrounded his body knocking the dragon back.
"Gah!" He growled, gripping his head as the noise got louder and a large headache passed through his head.
He looked around the area, finding that the area around him began getting distorted.
Ethan stepped back a bit, before slipping and falling through the reflection of a window door.
"Ugh…" Ethan said, as we see him falling through the reflective void as it began to get harder and harder to stay awake.
"Do not fear the dragon…find the deck…make the contract…FIGHT!"
These words wrung through his mind, as he began to lose consciousness.
Emerald Forest
Third person P.O.V.
"Ghh…ghhh…?" Ethan groaned, slowly opening his eyes "Huh?".
He positioned himself upwards before looking around, finding himself in what looked like a half destroyed building in the middle of a forest.
"Where…where am I?" Ethan said, looking around "I remember blacking out…but then what…".
Ethan slowly got back up, before looking around the forest noticing that the sky was now orange in colour.
"Yeesh, I must've been out for awhile if it's this la-HUH?!" he gasped, as he saw up in the sky a fractured moon.
"The moon…i-it's fractured…how is that even possible?" He said, stepping back before hearing the sound of growling.
Ethan gulped, slowly looking behind him to find a large black monster slowly making its way towards him.
The creature was some kind of black wolf monster with red gains and eyes and nine armour around its body.
"Uuuhhh…good doggy…. Nice doggy" he said, stepping back 'What's going on here… it's like I've wound up in some fantasy world or something'
The monster growled as it leapt towards him, swinging it's claws hand towards him forcing the young man to leap back, barely dodging but falling to the ground as a result.
"Get back…" he said, crawling back as the monster moved towards him.
Suddenly a light started emanating from his pocket as his eyes began glowing.
"I SAID GET BACK!" He yelled, swinging his fist to hit the monster which surprisingly did some damage as the monster was knocked back.
"W-What the" he said, before noting the glow from his pocket pulling it out to find the blank box "You…the advent deck…..".
"Alright! You want some more!" Ethan said, with a smirk as he quickly looked up to find several more black beasts moving towards him.
"Oh…shit." he said, turning around and beginning to run away as the black monsters began to chase him.
"Oh god! Oh god!" He yelled, as he began running through the forest away from the black monster.
Surprisingly he was barely able to outrun the large beasts, as he ran through the dense forest.
'What the heck…is the deck powering me up?' Ethan said, looking at himself not noticing a rock in front of him.
"Woah!" He said, tripping over the rock and falling down a small hill.
"Ow" he groaned, shaking his head as he tried to get back up.
"Grr…" "Huh?".
He quickly looked up to see more of the Grimm Creatures rushed towards him as he tried to get up to continue running but then a figure leapt down and began fighting the black creatures off with some kind of martial arts, eventually able to finish them off before turning back to Ethan.
"Woo boy, you really must have gotten lost Huh?" Ethan heard, as he looked up to see his saviour.
It was an older man with blonde hair and blue eyes with a tattoo on his arm. He was wearing brown cargo shorts with a dark brown belt, black shoes, a red bandana on his left arm and a brown leather vest over a tan dress shirt with the right sleeve cut off. He was also wearing a metal shoulder armour, leather vambrace and a brown fingerless glove all on his right arm.
"Uh y-yeah something like that" Ethan said, as the man gave a hand towards the young man as he took it before being pulled up.
"The Grimm will be coming back any moment now, I can give you a ride back to town if you want." he asked, as Ethan nodded "That would be great, thanks".
We then cut to the road as Ethan in the back of a truck as the man looked back at him "So, what's your name kid?".
"Huh? Oh uh, Ethan, Ethan Smith" He said, looking at the Advent Deck.
"Weird name…" he said before shaking his head "So what were you doing in such a dangerous forest? You know how Grimm appear a lot during the night".
'Grimm?' He thought, looking back at him 'That must be those black monsters, could the deck have brought me to another world…'.
"Yeah sorry about that, I just kinda woke up there" Ethan said making the man blink "How did that end up happening".
"Uuuh, it's kind of a long story doubt you would believe me" he said, looking at the box "Try me" the man said, as Ethan shrugged.
"Right… Well I was checking out my dad's apartment after he disappeared, and I found this deck, when I grabbed it I suddenly got this splitting headache and passed out not sure how I ended up in that forest".
The man looked back at Ethan with a raised eyebrow before shaking his head "Well that's quite a story".
"Told ya it'd be hard to believe" Ethan said, as the man nodded "Yeah…well I'm sure it was just some trying to prank you or something".
Ethan nodded at him when the two stopped inside of the city "Well here we are".
"Yeah, thanks for the help" Ethan said, getting out of the truck.
"Heh, what are hunters for, just try not to get in danger like that again" he said, before driving off.
"Yeah thanks!" he said, as he walked towards the city.
The city itself was a lot more normal than Ethan had expected, looking similar to his hometown with several vehicles driving by, people walking around and even a small market.
But this didn't mean everything was the same, for one it seems the technology was a lot more different like the planes looking more like helicopters or their phones looking a lot more advanced like sci-fi scrolls, the most notable of these however was that several of these people had animal traits.
"Huh…" he said, before noticing a vending machine close to him "Hmm, I could go for a drink".
Ethan made his way towards the vending machine while pulling out his wallet but then noticed the currency.
"Shit, none of my money won't work" he sighed, turning around "Now what am I meant to do".
As he looked around the place, he noticed one person, in particular, staring at him who was the mysterious man from the start.
"Huh, Nah must be my imagination," Ethan said, as he began leaving.
As he walked, he slowly looked back to see the man going the same direction as he was.
Ethan gulped as he continued walking faster and faster as the man continued to keep pace with him.
Ethan then quickly turned the corner to escape him but the man followed before grabbing Ethan and pinning him to the wall.
"I didn't expect you to have here as well, Rosso" he said, as Ethan struggled.
"What?…what are you talking about?" Ethan said, as the man growled "Don't lie to me, you have the deck".
Ethan's eyes widened as the man pulled out a deck "You…you have an Advent Deck too?!".
"What? Of course, I do!" he said, as Ethan guloed "Listen I just found this deck in my dad's apartment and wound up here! I don't know where I am or how I got here!".
"Likely story, except how do you know about the Advent Decks?" He asked, as Ethan gulped "I-I heard a voice, when I grabbed it… telling me what it was and to 'contract with the dragon'".
The man stared at Ethan with a raised eyebrow 'He…he doesn't sound like he is lying…but he looks almost exactly like Rosso…and his story is too crazy to be real…but then again why isn't the deck contracted…'.
"Alright, just give me the deck and-" he said, reaching for the Deck in Ethan's hand when suddenly the strange sound started ringing through their head.
Ethan took this chance as he kicked the man back before he ran off.
"Hey!" the man said, getting back up when the sound got loud "...Shit…" he said, before running after
Dust till dawn
Third-person P.O.V.
"Hah…hah…" Ethan said, as he ran through the streets of the city until he found a store that was still open called 'Dust till dawn'.
"Guess I could just hide out there" he said, walking towards the store.
When he entered the store he found that the store looked like a normal convenience store except it was selling weird stuff like Dust, crystals, books, tools, cartridges, and scales, the counter even containing a glass display case containing Dust crystals and on the walls are a set of tubes containing different colours of powdered Dust, which can be extracted by attaching a smaller cylindrical container to the bottom of the tube.
``Weird, guess this weird dust stuff must be important or something' he said, looking at the stuff.
"Well hello there young man, what can I help you with?" The old man politely greeted, as Ethan just waved.
"Uh just looking around," he said, putting up his hood as he walked towards the book to see just one person reading one of the books while listening to some music loudly, enough for him to hear it as well.
He didn't get a good look at her face but she was wearing, which was a black long-sleeved dress with a high collar and red trim on the sleeves, a black waist cincher with red lacing up the front and around her skirt has a red trim. She also wears a pair of thick black stockings and black combat boots with red laces and trims around the top and red soles and she was also wearing a red cloak.
"Huh…" He mumbled, before grabbing the same book as he was and sitting on the table, but this was just to stop people from seeing what he was doing as he pulled out the black box.
'Guess I could take a look at what's inside here…maybe I'll find out why that guy wanted it' he thought, checking each card one at a time.
There were about three cards in total, one with a sword on it, one with a black hole on it and one with a white cloudy smoke.
'Huh thought there would be more' he thought looking at the contract card and remembering his dream 'Do I have to use this on that dragon'.
His thoughts were soon cut off as the door was suddenly kicked down making Ethan look up to see several people in black suits alon with one man that looked like the leader.
The man had ginger hair covering one of two dark green eyes. He wore a red-lined white suit with long black pants and black shoes. His accessories included a small gray scarf, black gloves with buckled sleeves, and a black bowler hat with a small feather tucked into its red band.
"Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a dust store open this late?" The leader asked, as he walked up to the front desk and looked down to see coloured crystals then back to the man who had his hand up in the air.
"Please, just take my lien and leave" the man begged, hoping not to get shot.
"Shh, calm down we're not here for your money" he says, before turning to his men "Grab the dust."
The mean then split up with one of the men started collecting dust with a container, another one opened a bag and slammed it on the desk.
"Crystals, burnt, uncut" With that the owner began putting the crystals in the bag.
"Shit, gotta hide" Ethan said, putting the cards back into the deck and hiding behind one of the boxes.
However he continued hearing the music, looking up at the girl he tried to tell her to hide too but one of the men walked up to her.
"Hey! Kid hands up in the air now!" He yelled, pulling her shoulder making her hood fall "You got a death wish or something?".
"Huh?" Ruby asked, looking at the man as he pointed to his head signaling her to take off her headphones "Yes?".
"I said out your hands in the air!" He yelled, making her raise an eyebrow.
"Are you robbing me?" She asked, making the man grumble.
"YES!" He yelled, making her nod "Oooooohhh".
Meanwhile at the front desk Roman was waiting for his men while looking at a red crystal when one of his men came crashing out the window.
"Hmm?" He looks at another man and nudges his head to sunglasses to check it out.
"Freeze!" He yelled, but she used her Scythe to knock him out the window with her following.
The other men looked out the window as Ruby readied her Scythe, a giant mechanical one that could turn into a sniper rifle that she called crescent rose.
"Holy shit" Ethan said, looking at the girls badass weapon "So that's why the magazine had all of those weapons".
"Huh…get her" Roman says, as the men come running towards her.
With great speed the girl moved out of the way of the men's slashes before slashing them with her scythe, she then kicked one of their feet making them fall before shooting them.
One of the goons was about to slash her back with his machete but she jumped over them before kicking them towards a wall.
The man grumbled before looking up to see Ethan who had left the building just watching the fight.
"Alright girly, do anything and this dude gets it!" He said, pointing his machete to Ethan's throat making the girl freeze.
"You cheater," she said, as the criminal smirked.
Ethan struggled a bit but then noticed the deck glowing again as he looked towards the grunt with a raised eyebrow.
"Am I a hostage?" He asked, making the man grumble.
"Not this shit again, YES!" He yelled, making him nod "Oooooohhh".
He then gripped the grunts hand before lifting it up and then elbowing him in the gut before doing a spin kick sending him flying back.
"Man, this deck thing is awesome," he said, rolling his arm as another grunt came towards him.
In response Ethan grabbed the dropped Machete before blocking the prints attack before using his new strength to punch him back..
'Wow! He did all of that, I wonder if he's from Beacon' she thought before Ethan broke her train of thought.
"Mind if I help?" Ethan asked, making the girl shake her head "Sure thing".
She smiled before she used her scythe to lift herself up so she could kick an incoming grunt in the face.
She then proceeded to switch her scythe into it's gun mode and shot at a grunt knocking him with the other one.
She dodged the shots of the grunt before knocking him into the air and slammed him into the ground.
Back with Ethan he dodged two of the grunts' slashes before quickly throwing his machete into the air distracting the two grunts.
"Huh?" they said, before he grabbed their arms and twisted them and then threw them to the ground before throwing them towards the wall.
'Man it's like this is instinctual, like I've always known how to do this' he thought, as another Grunt tried slashing him but simply moved out of the way before punching him in the face and kicking him back.
After they were finished fighting the grunts the two looked over at the leader who looked at his men with a disappointed look towards his 'help' "You were worth every cent, truly you were".
He then takes his cigar from his mouth and turns to the two nussiances in front of him.
"Well red's, I think we can all say 'It's been an eventful evening'" he said, crushing the tip of his cigar "and as much as I'd love to stick around" he lifts his cane and the bottom of it flips back making a cross-hair.
"I think we can call this adieu" he said, before pulling his trigger which shot what looked like a firework at the two.
"Look out!" Ethan yelled, pushing the girl out of the way so he would take the hit when a barrier appeared around him knocking him back.
The two got back up before looking around the street seemingly not being able to find him.
"Over there!" Ruby calls out, pointing to a roof where Torchwick is climbing a ladder to said roof.
Ruby then grabbed Ethan's arms before using her speed to dash towards the roof much to Ethan's surprise.
When the two made it to the roof, they looked up to see the man waiting for something.
"Hey!" Ethan yelled, making the man turn back.
"Persistent," He says as one of the plane helicopters started flying up behind him.
"End of the line kids," he says, before throwing a red crystal at them before shooting at the crystal causing an enormous explosion.
He smirked before getting on the Bullhead as it flew away and began laughing like a mad man.
However he soon noticed the smock soon faded away to reveal a woman standing there protecting the two kids.
It was a middle-aged woman that had very light blonde hair tied back in a bun with a curl hanging down the right side of her face. Her eyes are bright green and she wears a thin ovular lower body covered by a black high-waisted pencil skirt with bronze buttons and black-brown wears black boots with bronze heels and a cape that is purple inside and black on the outside.
Sheflicked her riding crop making purple energy begin shooting at the Plane.
She then proceeded to summon a storm cloud above the Bullhead which started raining Ice crystals.
The man growled and moved to the cockpit as another girl moved over but they could only see her silhouette with two glowing orange eyes.
She lifted her hand as flames began charging up before she shot at the three.
Glynda then used her semblance to change the rubble into Javelins before throwing them at the Bullhead.
Ruby decided to help by changing the crescent rose before shooting at the Bullhead but the woman shot an even bigger streak of fire-making Ruby and Glynda move back allowing the Bullhead to fly away.
"They got away…" the blonde woman scoffed, crossing her arms
"You're a huntress right!" she heard, before looking over at Ruby who had stars in her eyes "Can I please get your autograph!".
The woman raised an eyebrow before blinking and looking "Wait, where did that boy go".
She was right, Ethan was now gone forcing the two to look before spotting Ethan clinging to the plane, having jumped on it during the chaos.
"You think you're getting away after all that" he said, remembering the day his mother died.
"A hero couldn't save us back then, so I'll be a hero and stop you" he growled, trying to get up when he heard the sound again.
He then looked over to see the Red Dragon from before in the reflection who looked right towards him.
"That thing again" he said as the dragon then fired several balls of fire right towards the young man".
"AAAAHHH!" he said, using his free arm with the deck to cover himself when a barrier appeared, protecting him but still knocking him back towards a car.
"AAAAAHHHH!" he screamed, falling towards the car much to the shock of the girl and the woman.
The girl used her speed to dash toward him trying to catch him but he feel right into the car like jumping into a pool.
"What the heck" she blinked, surprised.
Mirror world
Third person P.O.V.
"What the hell!" Ethan yelled, as he fell through a seeming endless portal filled with mirror surfaces all around him.
Suddenly energy shot from the deck at the mirrors, which bounced and attached to Ethan's waist becoming a silver belt known as a V-Buckle.
When it did the deck flew from his hand into the buckle making several images of a man in armour appear before merging with Ethan putting him in the armour.
The armour was mostly navy blue with black armour on the arms, legs and chest with a silver chest plate on top of the armour. On his right arm was a generic arm-mounted Visor called the Ride Visor. His helmet's visor had several metal lines covering two large red eyes and on top of the helmet was a single grey line with a red jewel on top.
"What happened?" Ethan wondered, looking at his new armour before he was pulled out of the Mirror Realm.
When Ethan landed on the ground, he quickly shook his head before looking up to see something strange.
He was in the city but everything was reversed, the rooms, the signs and words and even all of the buildings were reversed from What he knew.
"What the heck happened to this place?" Ethan asked, looking around as he looked at the reflection in the car.
"It looks all mirrored and what's up with this armour," He said, looking at his body before noticing the girl from before looking for him.
Ethan quickly looked back to see nobody there, as he looked at the reflection again "What's going on?".
Suddenly the sound started ringing through his head again, as he looked over to see a large
It was a large bipedal purple lizard with silver armour all over its body as it ran all over the place crushing the cars.
"Is that one of those Grimm things?" he asked, as the monster looked toward him before roaring and dashing towards him.
"Oh shit!" he said, running away as the monster chased after him but then he heard the sound of a motorcycle behind him.
What he saw was another armoured man on a strange motorcycle that looked like a capsule or something, the roof lifted off as the man stepped out.
"Who are you!" Ethan asked, as the man began walking towards him.
"Told you should have given me the deck" he said, making Ethan's eyes widen.
"He's the guy from before" Ethan said, as the man walked towards the monster.
"Stay back and watch" he said, pulling out a card before placing it in his sword.
"A fully formed one huh? Gonna have to go all out" he said, before closing the sword's hilt.
SWORD VENT!
A spear from a nearby window came out as Wing Knight caught the spear and ran towards the monster.
The Monster tried to punch the rider but he moved out of the way before using the spear to knock the monster into a building and out of it, with Wing Knight following as well.
When they both landed the monster tried to tackle Wing Knight but he pulled out a card with the vine monster and placed it in his sword's hilt.
GUARD VENT!
He then stabbed the spear into the ground causing several vines to burst out protecting him from the attack as he took out another card.
ADVENT!
"Darkwing! Go!" Knight commanded, as from the window flew out from the window and then began sending several black energy slashes at the large Mirror Monster, knocking it back more.
The monster roared and tried to swing its armoured tail at the mirror monster, but it moved out of the way before biting the large monster.
Wing Knight then came in and slashed the Monster in the stomach before jumping on Darkwing to hit the monster in the head.
"Woah" Ethan said, walking down the steps to see the battle going on. "He's using the cards to fight along with his Monster" Ethan said, before looking at the deck.
"Maybe I could do it too…" Ethan muttered, before pulling out a card with a picture of a sword on it.
He slid open the gauntlet on his arm before inserting the sword card inside of the Gauntlet before closing the device.
SWORD VENT!
From a nearby window a sword rocketed out of it and stabbed into the ground in front of Ethan. He slowly walked in front of the sword and pulled it out.
He looked at the sword before smiling "I've got a feeling… THAT I CAN DO THIS" he said, gripping the sword and running towards the Nidoking with the sword.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"
… Only to be slapped back by the monster tail towards Wing Knight who knocked him into the dirt with his sword.
"I told you to stay out of this…" Wing Knight said, before pulling out a card and placing it in the sword.
FINAL VENT!
DarkWing then attached to Wing knights back, becoming a long flowing cape for the rider.
Wing Knight then began running towards the monster before jumping up into the air as his cape became a giant spiral and plummets into the Monster making it explode.
Wing Knight landed in the ground and looked at the ball off light before placing another card into his sword.
CAPTURE VENT!
He then pulled out his sword before pointing at the largest ball of light causing it to be sucked into the weapon
The ball then came back now as a card which was caught by the black knight revealing the card showed that it was of the monster with the words Strike Vent on it.
When Knight got back up, he turned towards Ethan "So what was that thing! And how did you do all of that" Ethan asked, when Wing Knight stopped and lifted him up.
"You're coming with me, I have some questions for you" He said, with Ethan nodding.
However before they could leave they heard a roar as they looked back to see the red dragon flying around.
It then began shooting several fire balls towards them as they both began running away from the blasts.
The scene then shattered into many mirror pieces falling onto the floor with several images of different riders including Wing knight were shown.
And some woo boy so what did you guys think of the replacement for Pokemon Mirror war.
I thought this was pretty good, having a more focused story and not just a vehicle for the gimmick of the story.
And if you are wondering, yes there will be Oc rider submissions but I'll reveal more later.
