==Chapter One: The Tragic Depressing News==
Sydney, Harry, Emma, Sophia, Ned, Tommy and Derek were in the book club room. and just as they were all reading every single book one by one, they all heard the speaker beep. and Principal Linkenberry's voice coming out of it.
"Attention all students! may Sydney Reynolds please report to my office? the news I need to share with her aren't even too good." Principal Linkenberry said through the speaker.
"I'm beginning to wonder what the news is about." Harry said to them.
"I don't know, Harry. but I really need to see what's going on. I really hope it doesn't even have anything to do with Olive." Sydney said to him in concern. and before rushing over to Principal Linkenberry's office, with Harry, Emma, Sophia, Ned, Tommy and Derek following her around.
last week, Sydney's best friend for life and about to be half-sister after Max and Debbie married one another, Olive, got caught in a nuclear explosion, and she was in a coma at the hospital since. but unfortunately, the news have something to do with her. she had succumbed to her injuries. and she later passed away as well too. but when Principal Linkenberry exclaimed the news to her, she was at first in denial. and after she saw that he wasn't even fibbing in front of her nor pranking her, she broke down in tear drops on the very spot.
"my best friend for life and overnight roommate..." Sydney said to herself while sobbing a bit.
she couldn't even believe that really happened to her. and she and Olive had a real super best friendship.
"Oh, Sydney. we're terribly sorry." Sophia said to their best friend for life while embracing her with Emma, Derek, Tommy and Ned.
"we're all here for you. everything's gonna be okay real soon." Harry said to her while embracing her as well too.
the now remaining three amigas and four amigos had to be dismissed from school real super early. 'cause Harry, Ned, Tommy, Derek, Emma and Sophia were only just as depressed, heartbroken and hurt as Sydney. they couldn't even believe that happened to Olive. she was also like a sister and team player to them. and she really loved joke telling and Werewolf Girlfriend things. and it was quite a shame knowing that her passing happened a year after
==Chapter Two: The Funeral and Memorial Ceremony
later on, at the funeral and memorial ceremony, Sydney stood by Olive's closed casket the entire time. and Harry, Ned, Tommy, Derek, Emma and Sophia refused to leave her side.
"I can't even believe she's gone for now." Sydney said to herself.
"We know how you're feeling about this, Sydney." Emma said to her with tear drops coming down her face. "but she'll always be in our hearts and minds."
"and we'll always think about her as well too." Sophia said to her as well too.
Sydney looked down at the best friendship bracelet she was holding. it was the one that Olive made for her last year. and it was one of the only things that would help her remember her best friend for life and overnight roommate. so she held it tightly in her hands.
"you can be off school for now. you can come back when you're all prepared." Harry said to her.
"Okay, Harry. thanks a bunch." Sydney said to her. just as Harry wiped her teardrops away with soft clean tissues. and she was at least bright and cheerful her other two best friends for life and lovebirds were there when she needed them.
==Chapter Three: The Aftermath==
it had been four days ever since Olive's passing after that nuclear explosion. and Sydney had been making a photo album of their times together as always. she didn't even say one single word. so she continued collecting everything in her best friend for life's memories. there was the ringing sound of the doorbell. and Max went over to their front door. and he opened it to see Principal Robert Linkenberry standing by. about to hand him something.
"hey, Max." Robert said to him. "is Sydney here?"
"she's upstairs in her bedroom. grieving and mourning." Max said to him. "she hasn't even come out ever since."
Robert sighed heavily. "well? I was only just givin' you this sympathy card to give to her. to tell her that I'm terribly sorry about what happened to Olive last Thursday afternoon."
Max accepted the sympathy card meant for Sydney in her time of grief, heartbreak and depression.
"thanks a bunch." Max said to him. "Judy and I will give this to her right away."
"you're welcome." Robert said to him. "have a real super nice day."
Max went up the stairsteps all the way up to Sydney's bedroom. with Judy following him behind. Sydney was finished making her photo album of her and Olive doing things together as always. but she was still crying and sniffing a bit.
"Sydney?" Max asked while knocking on her bedroom door.
"Dad and Grandma Judy, I'm not even coming out!" Sydney answered back to them. just as they both entered the door. and Judy brought a chicken patty and tater wedges with ketchup and steamed vegetables over to her. and Max gave her the sympathy card that her school principal and classmates sent her.
"I've got you something to offer my condolences to you." Max said to her. just as Sydney opened the sympathy card. "go ahead and read it to us."
Sydney began reading the writing: Dear Sydney, it's with our deepest sympathies that we're terribly sorry about your best friend for life. Olive was such a real super intelligent and kind hearted girl. who touched the lives of many. may you continue getting stronger. her best friendship and guidance will always be a part of you. sincerely, Principal Linkenberry, Emma, Sophia, Harry, Ned, Tommy and Derek.
Max and Judy were touched by the way Sydney was reading the sympathy card. "that was real super beautiful." Max said to her.
"and by the way, Sydney." Judy said to her. "there's your chicken patty and tater wedges with ketchup and steamed vegetables. just in case you get real super hungry."
"thanks a bunch, Dad and Grandma Judy." Sydney said to them. "I really appreciate it."
"and we can tell that losing your best friend for life was real super painful." Max said to her. as Sydney sighed depressingly.
"it's even worse than when I lost Mom to a terminal sickness." Sydney said to herself. "I didn't even wanna lose my best friend for life this way."
Max and Judy had an idea.
"I've got an idea." Max said to her. "I suggest we drop you off to the cemetery. and you can visit her grave."
"okay. thanks a bunch for telling me that." Sydney said to them.
"oh. and here are the pink roses and purple tulips to put on her grave." Judy said to her. just as she handed her the pink roses and purple tulips to put on Olive's grave.
"that's just what I really need." Sydney said to them. "let's go to the cemetery."
==Chapter Four: Visiting the cemetery==
when they got to the cemetery, Sydney got outta the car. and she looked around all over the place for her best friend for life's grave. and when she got there, she spoke to it. and she put the pink roses and purple tulips on it as well too.
"hi there, Olive." Sydney said to the grave. "it's me, Sydney."
but there was no response. and Sydney already knew that she wouldn't even get one. but she couldn't even help but knowing she could have everything to remember her by.
"I know that...I know that we haven't even seen one another in a real super long time ever since you passed away last Thursday afternoon. and I'm terribly sorry you had to pass away. you were almost like a half-sister to me. the one who would play space heroes and alien monsters and do Werewolf Girlfriend things and get involved in spooky horror motion pictures sometimes. but not all the time. also the one who always came through for me. even though we've had temperamental arguments at most difficult times. and you even trusted me to tutor your older brother, Rusty with his math and vocabulary homework. remember? I promise to help him and your other surviving brothers out. even your mom as well too. farewell and goodbye, Olive. my best friend for life." Sydney said to the grave, nearly sobbing a bit. just as she went back to the car. and they all drove back to their house. and Sydney, Harry and Judy were now asleep in their separate beds.
==Chapter Five: The Memorial Slideshow Ceremony==
In the assembly of the Clara Barton Middle School building, everybody was here for Olive's memorial tribute slideshow ceremony. and Robert spoke through the podium's microphone.
"Olive Christine Rozalski was as you all know, beautiful, intelligent, kind hearted. and most importantly, a real super good friend." Robert said to Sydney, Emma, Sophia and the other students. "and we'll all celebrate the entire life of a girl who was the greatest and the kindest. and now, let's begin the slideshow."
They all began the slideshow. and some flashback memory clips of Sydney, Olive, Emma and Sophia's times together as always were shown on there. from seasons one, two and three. everybody, especially Sydney, were really touched and amazed that they've all decided to do it in Olive's memories. Emma, Sophia, Harry, Ned, Tommy and Derek were real super supportive of Sydney. and after the memorial slideshow as over, they all decided to do something to help make her feel so much better.
"thanks a bunch for helping me out, you guys." Sydney said to them. "it's just not even the exact same without Olive around."
"hey don't worry about it, Sydney." Harry said to her. "we're also depressed and heartbroken."
"let's go get a pizza and pasta lunch meal at the pizza and pasta buffet to make you feel so much better." Emma said to her as well too. just as they all guided Sydney through the school theater auditorium. and all the way to the pizza and pasta buffet. even though Olive was no longer with them, she always remained in their hearts and minds.
