Chapter One "class has just begun"
(flashback)"Bell rings" Welcome to Rays Occult, " says a young goth with dark blue hair in her late teens reading a Steven-king book at the shop counter. "Kylie it's me Rey'm back and I got some news for you, " says a chipper man in his late thirties. Kylie puts her horror novel down and looks at her boss who was once one of four heroes of New York but is now seen as a joke by the mayor. " what going on rey, " asked kylie intrigued " remember me telling you about my old pal egon spangler he was a ghostbuster with me and still works and lives at the firehouse well he teaching a class at the college you attend and I signed you up for his class its and bout the paranormal I feel like you really like it and you can make some new friends and a fresh start after Danny, " says rey in a happy tone "I don't know Rey a whole lot of fucked shit happened with Danny and yes I'm moving on it still hurts but if you think I will like this class then I give it a try Rey ok one class and if I like it then I stay beside im only going to that college for a culinary degree," said kylie " your gonna love it kiddo I promise and your finally make friends that have the same interest as you, " said Rey like a proud mom (flashback ends)
"Shit shit I'm gonna be late," said the young goth running in between buildings trying to find class 665 Finally finding the class she rushes thur the door only to find three people four if she counts herself "Are you ok class does not start till 1:10 your kinda early, " says a young black male in his early twenties worried " what I was told that this class started at 1 sorry I came from the culinary building I guess rey told me the wrong time so I won't be late ." answered the goth " ok I thought something was wrong when you ran in here im Roland Jackson by the way, " he said holding his hand out " im kylie griffin, " said kylie shaking his hand " they guy in the wheelchair is garret miller he cool and the guy who asleep to your left is Eduardo Rivera i dont know mutch about him " garret wheels up to where kylie and Roland are talking " hey whats up so why are u guys taking this class im just doing it to hear how they kicked ghost ass by the why you said rey that wouldn't be Ray Stantz would it " asked garret " yes he my boss at reys occult and is a family friend / my legal guardian ." answer kylie
both Roland and Garret just stare at her "Holy crap Ray Stantz the ghostbuster that's amazing im taking this class because I wanna learn about the machines they used and how they build them " said Roland amazed "El cariño ( honey) This class is nothing but a joke and so is the ghostbuster " says the Latino waking up from his nap to kylie than looking at the group before him " if this class is such a joke then leave " snapped the goth Eduardo turns and smirks at her " estás caliente cuando estás enojado"(You are hot when you are angry) he says smirking looking her up and down . " what was that " kylie said cocking her hip to the side "I said this class is nothing but an easy a pequeña rosa negra (little black rose) " said Eduardo lying he stands up his 6'2 frame towering over kylies 5'2 hight.
just as Garret and Roland were about to say something the door swung open and revealed Egon Spangler "Sorry I'm late Class of four students four more than last semester " said Egon. He looked over his students till he spotted Kylie "Kylie Griffin Rey told me about I'm glad you decided to take this class Rey hopes this is a fresh start after what went down with David." said Egon as he started teaching about the different kind of spirits very slowly Eduardo who is seating behind kylie jump down to the seat next to her and leans over " who David chica " whispers Eduardo " none of your dame business " said kylie leaning the over way in the seat.
" When is he gonna tell us about kicking ghost butt, " said Garret shoving a candy bar down his throat. " clam down Garret I'm sure he tell us in time, " said Royland out of now where a flying green blob of slime come thur the wall and start saying gibberish to Egon. " holy shit it a ghost, " said Garrett loudly getting the three over student attention they all turn to Egon and the flying booger kylie turn to Eduardo and leans in really close to him " is it still an easy a, " said kylie smugly " you don't really believe that thing real it just a projection as they use back then to tricked the whole city," said Eduardo just as kylie was about to respond
"Everyone needs to go home and lock their doors kylie I need you to come with me Rey wants you at the firehouse," says Egon Kylie, Eduardo, Roland, and Garret look at their professor confused "What going on and why does Rey want me at the firehouse, " ask kylie " this isn't really easy to explain but have you all seen the movie killer klowns from outer space well the clown-like aliens are real but their not aliens they're a type of vampire that feeds off of laughter the Producers met a real one back when the ghostbuster where still in business after his friend was kidnapped by them . " explains Egon
All four of the students stare at him in shock "So what does this have to do with Kylie "asks Royland "Well if the clown wants to turn someone into one of their kind they go after their target and their soulmate. the clowns are a dying species and only have less than twenty left but they are able to smell if two people are fated to be with each other since they can only reproduce with their own fated soul." added Egon "So they not really after kylie their after her soulmate? And want to use her to draw him out ." asks Garret "Wait how do you know they want me "asks Kylie "Your apartment was broking into and covered in circus-themed stuff Your cat okay She with Rey but they left thing they left the producer friend who was kidnapped because they where after her soulmate ." says Egon
"How about we all go to the firehouse and stay with Kylie and make sure she's safe," says Royland "Well we still do not know who they are targeting and I need Rey with me Jennie is working here and does not get off till 5 so yes slimmer will stay with you guys but please hurry and stay in the firehouse, " says Egon as he leaves the classroom " garret kylie I can give you to a ride to the firehouse in my car, " says Roland " what about me, " says Eduardo, "I thought you said this was not real, " says Roland " ya but apparently chica here is in danger so I guess I play along with this whole ghost are a real thing, " says Eduardo still not believing not the paranormal is real but something about all this didn't sit right with him.
As the group arrived at the firehouse they saw Egon and Rey putting equipment in the ecto one. "Are you guys sure about this I mean Rey didn't you just hurt your back last week? "asked Kylie
" mabey you should take Roland Garret or Eduardo with you guys to play it safe please Rey "Kylie added "We're not what we used to be Egon and I did hurt my back last week maybe we should take one of them with us, " says rey " it has been a long time I guess so Eduardo you use to be in the police academy right " ask Egon " si, " said Eduardo " good your coming with us I leave a radio with you three don't leave kylie till Jennie get here, " says Egon as the three left in the ecto one heading over to kylie apartment.
When Egon Rey and Edourdo pull up to Kylie's apartment they see color shiny streamer hanging out her window and balloons of all shapes and colors. "Something tells me Vampira doesn't normally keep her apartment like that, " says Edourdo starting to feel like this was not a joke." She doesn't," says Rey as they head up to her door that was freshly painted in a circus theme with glitter the door was creaked open egon pull out in pke meter that beeps a little " they were just here again, " says Egon pushing open the door to reveal what looks like a circus thru up they where little toys everywhere and streams and balloons like the ones outside and a huge jack in the box sits in the middle of the room you could barely tell that a goth lived here and not some circus obsessed weirdo. " man this is one freaky looking break-in," says Eduardo just then the giant jack in the box started to play the jingle very slowly and loudly and they can hear laughing around the room the pke meter start going so crazy it malfunction and zap egon making him drop it " ow dame that what I get for not using it in over five years, " says egon
"Rey power on We have company, " Egon says as he powers on his proton pack Rey follows suit just then the jack in the box pops open and a giant clown pops out and looks around sniffing the air till he sees Eduardo and Jumps out of the box on a giant spring he bouncing on the spring he grabs Eduardo and quickly springs out the window breaking the glass. " egon we got to get the kid, " says rey already running out the door and started going down the stairs with egon not far behind him. "Déjame ir, maldito payaso espeluznante." (let me go, you fucking creepy ass clown) scream Eduardo as the clown lands in an ally way letting Eduardo go falling to the ground and landing next to a smaller jack in the box you would see in store the tiny jack in the box pop out and bite him and then the clown and the little jack in the box vanished.
