Chapter 1: Time Travel
Sasuke sat down and stared ahead.
It's been days. Days since the war. Days since fighting Kaguya. Days since battling Naruto.
Days since his goal was completed.
This revolution was bitter sweet. More bitter than anything.
It's like the world was mocking at the fact that he was
Alone
After killing Naruto, he absorbed all the Tailed Beasts Chakra and absorbed the rest of Kurama's Chakra inside Naruto. He also absorbed his Yang Release Chakra and whatever else.
He really was the strongest in the world now. A God.
But why does he still feel…empty?
'It's because you truly don't want to be alone, Sasuke.'
Oh he forgot to mention. All the Tailed Beasts Chakra combined to form the Ten Tails again and surprisingly he could talk.
'Shut up Ten Tails.' Sasuke said. As he continued staring off in the distance.
'You know I'm right. How are you going to revive your clan as it is now? After tarnishing the Uchiha's name? Would you want your kids to see you like this?' Ten Tails continue pressing.
Sasuke couldn't control the guilt that ate at his heart because as in denial as he was, he knew Ten Tails was right. Damn. I wonder if I took a different route, would everything be different? Sasuke asked himself.
Maybe if he took the path of light, he wouldn't be sitting alone right now, feeling regret.
'Glad to see you finally come to acceptance Sasuke. What if I told you there was a way?' Ten Tails said.
A curious expression came on Sasuke's face. 'And what way is that?' Sasuke asked.
'A ancient forbidden jutsu, one even Hagoromo doesn't even know about.' Ten Tails said.
Sasuke grew even more curious. 'What is this forbidden technique?'
'One that takes you back in time. One that lets you get the second chance you seek.' Ten Tails continued. 'Now do you want it or not?'
Sasuke was surprised. He never knew a jutsu like the one Ten Tails talked about existed. He had one question though.
'Why are you helping me?' Sasuke genuinely wanted to know. What did Ten Tails gain out of doing this?
'I want to see your new journey Sasuke. I sense the regret and the redemption in you. I want to see how this world will change. Now again do you want to?' Ten Tails asked.
'Yes I do. Do you have a name?' Sasuke asked.
'I was always referred to as the Ten Tails.' He said.
If Sasuke was going to stick with Ten Tails, he might as well give him a name. They will be on this journey together as partners moreso friends.
'I will call you…Chikara.' Sasuke said. The name suited him.
'I like the name Sasuke thank you. Now this technique will send you back in time to your childhood. You will retain your abilities and power, and can even use the time to get stronger. To prevent getting noticed once you arrive back,your power will be suppressed.' Chikara started.
Sasuke listened attentively.
'Unfortunately, this technique won't take you back to when your clan was alive and I don't even know if you will still be in the Leaf Village.' Chikara said.
'That's alright.' This time, Sasuke will bring respect and admiration to his clan's name.
'Now with that being said, are you ready Sasuke?' Chikara asked.
To a new path. Sasuke thought before nodding his head.
'Then here we go. Six Paths Forbidden Jutsu: Reversal of Time.' Chikara said.
Sasuke saw a bright flash of white light before everything went dark.
-Cutscene-
A tan skinned, mint green-haired, orange eyed young girl walked to her favorite spot by the big tree. This girl was named Fu.
Fu didn't understand why she couldn't make friends. She would look at all the other children her age and see all the friends they connected with, but why couldn't she do the same?
Shibuki-sama said to give them time and eventually she would, but a lot of time has passed, yet no results.
She looked saddened and downcast. 'I-I wish I could have at least one friend…just one.' Tears welled up in her eyes.
Suddenly she sensed someone in her vicinity. She grew curious and focused on the person's Chakra and ran to them.
Once reaching the person, she looked down to see a boy her age.
The boy had blue-tinted black hair with a black sweater and gray shorts. He had black sandals on with white bandages around his shins.
And was that…an Uchiha crest!? She thought all of them were dead.
She must help him and take him to Shibuki-sama immediately.
Before she could, she saw his eyes start to open.
-Sasuke's pov-
Sasuke opened his eyes to see an unfamiliar environment. He also could see a young girl in front of him.
He slowly stood up before continuing to analyze his environment. 'Where am I?' He asked.
'You are in Takigakure, by the large tree!' Fu excitedly answered. Maybe she can finally make a friend. 'I'm Fu. What's your name?' She asked.
Takigakure? Sasuke may only recall hearing that name a few times. He was going to use his Sharingan to get information from the girl, but that wouldn't have been wise seeing as she was the 7 tailed Jinchuriki. Don't want to cause trust issues already. 'My name is Sasuke Uchiha.' Sasuke responded.
'I knew you were an Uchiha! I thought all of you were dead, why are you here?' The curious Fu asked him.
Sasuke thought he would be disappointed, but he was glad he didn't arrive back in the Leaf. Especially after knowing the truth of their ways. This would be a new experience, but one of welcome.
'I luckily managed to escape, but now I don't have anywhere else to go.' Sasuke said.
'Oh I can talk to Shibuki-sama about letting you stay here! C'mon Sasuke-kun!' Fu grabbed his hand before running off.
This girl is very trusting. Sasuke thought. Being a Jinchuriki, she must have been shunned like Naruto was. This may have resulted in her wanting to make friends, but not succeeding. Luckily Sasuke was a good person now because the old him would've taken advantage of that fact. Speaking of Naruto, Sasuke would deal with him later down the road.
Sasuke let Fu drag him to wherever she was taking him.
-Cutscene-
The two arrived at the Village Head's Residence.
Fu and Sasuke walked inside to see the village leader, Sasuke guessed.
'Fu! How are you doing? Who's your friend you brought with you?' The man gave a warm and friendly smile.
Fu ecstatically smiled as she introduced Sasuke. 'This here is Sasuke Uchiha, my new friend!'
Shibuki gained a surprised expression. 'An Uchiha? I thought you all were dead. What brings you here?'
'He wants to join our village Shibuki-sama!' Fu answered for Sasuke.
Shibuki's eyes widened some more. 'Oh really? Well this will benefit us greatly. I'll make the paperwork for you Sasuke then get you enrolled in the academy. Welcome to Takigakure!'
Just like that? Sasuke thought with slight surprise. What if he was a spy or missing nin. This village was way too trusting, but he wouldn't complain. It worked in his favor. 'Thank you.' He said.
Shibuki nodded with a smile. 'You can stay in an apartment right beside Fu since you both are friends. I will provide you with a substantial amount of money. Once you're done with the paperwork, you both can be on your way.'
'Yay! You're a part of the village now Sasuke-kun!' Fu jumped up and down in the air.
She is very energetic. Sasuke thought as he watched her jump up and down.
Shibuki looked at the two with a warm smile, glad that Fu finally had a friend.
-Cutscene-
Sasuke got everything situated and now he and Fu were at his new apartment.
Fu looked saddened as she didn't want to leave him. Sasuke noticed her look and he walked to her.
He flicked her forehead softly. 'We can play together tomorrow okay?' He said.
A huge bright smile appeared on Fu's face. 'Okay Sasuke-kun! See you tomorrow!' She happily skipped to her apartment.
Sasuke then walked into his apartment. It was nice, but not too spacious.
'This will do.' He said. He walked to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. Damn I really am a kid now. He thought as he looked himself over. His age was 7 as far as he could tell.
At least this would help him get even stronger with time he supposed.
Sasuke walked into his room and laid on the bed.
'You alright Sasuke?' He heard the voice of Chikara ask him.
'Yeah just taking everything in.' Sasuke answered.
He was grateful for another chance and would redeem himself of his past actions. He knew he would have to handle a lot of events in the future and would prepare for them.
Fu then entered his mind. Luckily he had a companion and wasn't alone this time around. It was a start at least.
With that last thought, Sasuke closed his eyes.
