Growing up, Izuku wore stuff boys at the playground would wear. Khaki shorts, hero themed t-shirts (All Might ones were his favorite), and sneakers with varying degrees of brightness and colors. He liked wearing them out of convenience, before kids started ignoring him he wore them as he can freely move around and play with his friends. Rolling around the mud would not be as fun as it should be if he was wearing a skirt after all.

Despite this, Izuku loved wearing skirts, dresses, and ruffles whenever he went outside to run errands for his mom or out to the mall with her. It makes him feel pretty and helps maintain the ounce of confidence left in his body with all the bullying that's been happening to him.

Izuku couldn't be any more grateful to have a mother as supportive as his. She never questioned his decisions at clothing stores, making sure that what he picks out is comfortable for him. He even remembers instances where she would glare at other people giving them funny looks at the girl's section.

She wanted her son to be confident enough to make choices. Yes, she may have an opinion here and there about what looks good and what doesn't. But never has she stopped her son from picking out a blouse with ruffles or a cute dress with designs and patterns that would bring out his eyes.

Izuku never thought about the whispers he got during his middle school days. Growing up quirkless just does that to you. He's used to it. Sure, the laughing and taunts only grew after the first time he came to school in a skirt, he even got a dress code for it despite a fellow classmate of his wearing the exact same skirt as he was. But he knows whatever he does, he'll always get teased for it.

Kacchan never made fun of his clothing preferences though. He'd always and only berate and hurt him because of his lack of quirk. Maybe that's why young Izuku stuck to him amidst their complicated relationship.

Ever since he received One for All though, Izuku's been wearing less and less of his feminine clothing. Which was a shame because he wanted to see what he would look like in a skirt with his now very toned legs. All the extensive training he's been doing every day gave him no logical reason to wear them. Even after the implementation of the dorm system as he left his skirts and dresses at home, his closet was full enough as it is.

But one day, someone must've been praying hard enough as Izuku was getting ready for another day at UA.

He had just gotten out of the communal shower, being one of the firsts to wake up as he likes having a slow, quiet morning in a usually noisy environment. Izuku now makes his way back to his room where he can change.

As soon as he does, he plays today's morning news and goes off to continue his morning routine. Drying his hair, doing his skincare, all that. Because he's used to his routine, most of it was muscle memory. He doesn't need to think twice in opening his closet and reaching out for the side where his uniform was neatly ironed and stored. As he opted to listen to the latest reports that were blasting through his speakers.

But when Izuku reaches his hand inside the closet. He's met with nothing but an empty clothes hanger.

The male blinks profusely as he now turns his attention to his closet. That wasn't right... his mom bought him 3 sets. Two he would alternate use while the other was in the laundry and the extra one for special events or times where the other two didn't dry fast enough.

Midoriya suddenly grimaces as he remembers that one of his uniforms torn into shreds because he had been wearing it while fighting off a villain a few days ago. He was making his way to his work studies when it happened. Despite having his case with his hero costume, Izuku couldn't be bothered as he didn't want to arrive late and be scolded by Endeavor and Kacchan.

The other two were still in the laundry, the washing machine broke a few days ago because Kirishima accidentally made a dent on the machine with his quirk. Only being able to wash his two dirty uniform sets last night.

Izuku sighed, not wanting to go through the trouble of asking his classmates to borrow their uniform. He doubts any of them would fit him as they'd either be too tight or too big for him because of his muscular and short stature.

He was about to give up and head to the lost and found when he saw from the corner of his eye an unopened UA uniform at the corner of his closet with a sticky note on top of it.

Midoriya never remembered packing another set. He grabs it and rips the sticky note to read what was written on it.

"I couldn't help myself and asked the school to provide this uniform tailored to your measurements! I also bought shoes and stockings to go with it! I hope you don't mind -Mom 3"

She must've packed it in his suitcase when he wasn't looking. He should call her and thank her for that. Slowly, he unwraps the plastic cover, laying the blazer, blouse, and dark green skirt on his bed. Making his way back to his closet to find the stockings and shoes his mom was talking about.

It took longer than expected but Izuku found them. Not wasting any more time slipping the clothes on him as he could hear the loud chatter that was happening downstairs. Most of his classmates were up by now and some of them have probably started making breakfast.

He finds himself standing in front of the mirror as he puts on his tie (ignoring how wrong it looks) and buttoning his blazer. Izuku smiles to himself at the feeling of wearing skirts again. Giving him this initial sense of euphoria at how pretty he looked. Not to mention he was right to assume that he looked good with stockings on, especially with how the curve of his legs was accentuated from it. They were tight enough that Izuku didn't have to worry about them rolling off his legs.

Fixing his curly hair, Midoriya then picked up his yellow bag and slipped on his house shoes, and made his way to the common area. Everyone on his floor must've gone down seeing as he's the only one making his way through the hall.

He'd mentally take note of asking one of his classmates for dress weights, just to ease his worry of them flying up during the day. Nonetheless, he likes the less- restricting feeling the skirt gives him and is excited to be wearing them again.

As he stands by the elevator, he's patiently on his phone. Quickly going through different hero forums, eyes glued on his phone as the doors open and he walks out, looking up and noticing that there were only two people left in the kitchen, the others must have left for class already.

Midoriya makes his way to the kitchen where Kirishima and Denki were making toast for breakfast.

With a small smile, he greets the two. "Good morning guys!" dashing to the fridge to grab a Tupperware of his overnight oats and a weekly prepared smoothie.

Kaminari lifts his head and turns to Midoriya. "Good morning Midoriy-'' he suddenly lost all forms of speech when he got a good view of his classmate.

Kirishima, at the mention of their newly arrived classmate, also turns to greet him. "Good Morn- yo! Midobro!" he screamed in surprise, which seemed to catch the attention of everyone in the room.

The friendly chatters seemed to die down, Midoriya poking his head out of the fridge and grabbing a spoon for his oats. Taking a bite of his oats as he looks at the two with a raised eyebrow.

All three of them continued to stare at each other for a few seconds before Kirishima snapped out of his own trance.

"Midobro...did you lose a bet or something? I-I can always lend you a spare uniform..."

Kaminari nodded "Yeah dude! You have more than enough time to change... we have similar sizes too!"

The green-haired male giggled as he shook his head. "Don't worry guys! All my other uniforms are still drying and I found this in my closet...I saw this in my closet and turns out my mom bought one for me!" he reassures his friends as he glances at the clock. "Oh! We should get going...Iida won't appreciate us not being 10 minutes early... maybe that's why everyone's left,"

He continued to mumble while finishing his oats, placing them in the sink and mentally reminding himself to wash it later. He puts a straw through his smoothie and proceeds to put on his shoes and walks out. Seemingly ignoring the shocked expressions of his two classmates.

"Midoriya... I never knew you liked wearing stuff like these," Kaminari said, all three of them walking together to school.

Izuku turns to his blonde friend and hummed. "Yeah... I grew up wearing all sorts of clothes! My mom was really supportive of me picking out dresses, skirts, and the likes..."

Kirishima nodded "That's so manly bro... don't you like feel uncomfortable wearing them? Other people can be mean.."

"I mean yeah, growing up a lot of people would stare at me. A lot of my classmates would laugh at me at middle school... but I liked what I was wearing and I got used to it anyway so..." he shrugged.

Both males looked at Midoriya with awe and a hint of sympathy at the thought of people laughing at their classmate. "Again, you're so manly bro! Does anyone else in our class know this?"

Midoriya shakes his head "Other than Kacchan... it's just you two, I never found the time to wear them with all the training we were doing and I left all my skirts and dresses at home because my closet was already full... I only found this tucked away in my closet," he laughed, his demeanor relaxed despite most of the people in the hallway turning to look at the green-haired male.

Kaminari gasped "Bro... this means we're the first ones to see it! Oh I can't wait to see everyone's reaction!" he cheered, Kirishima cheered along with his friend.

"Well, I hope they'd have the same reaction as you two," Midoriya commented as they stood in front of their homeroom. The boy couldn't help but feel his pit of anxiety bubbling in his stomach. He never really cared about what people thought of his clothes, but they were his friends. People he's going to be spending time with for the next three years. The only people that haven't made fun of him other than his mother. What if--

Before he could spiral down into his thoughts, Kirishima pats his friends' back. "Don't worry bro! Kami and I got your back!"

Denki nods profusely "Yeah! If they make you feel uncomfortable, they'll answer to us- we'll also make sure Mineta doesn't do anything," he raises a thumbs up.

Midoriya smiles gratefully at his friends. Subconsciously pulling down on his skirt as he shivered at the thought of Mineta floating around his head. Good thing he was wearing shorts under these.

With a deep breath, Kaminari opens the door and loudly greets everyone in the classroom. Midoriya feels his nervousness spiking through the roof when all three of them step in.

Iida quickly stands out of his seat to scold the last three of his classmates who have arrived.

"Kaminari! Kirishima! It is very unbecoming of a UA student for you to arrive late! A student must always arrive at school 10 minutes before classes! I have been reminding you two for your habitual tardiness, Aizawa-sensei would not appreciate it if you one day suddenly arrived after he has! You could get expelled for that!

While Midoriya! Although this is your first time it should not become a habi-"

Just like Kaminari, Iida's voice seemed to have also suddenly died down upon noticing Midoriya.

Everyone turns their head to know why Iida had suddenly gone quiet mid scolding. Which meant that everyone had now turned their attention to Midoriya in his full uniform.

Like always, there was silence. Moments to process what their classmate was wearing and in those seconds two things happened. Izuku finished his smoothie and everyone (except for Bakugou) lost their shit.

Uraraka couldn't believe it, she had to pinch herself just in case she wasn't dreaming. "You're so cute Deku!"

Tsuyu happily agreed. "I'm surprised you even found one for your size, kero,"

Izuku smiled sheepishly as he rubbed the nape of his neck. Telling her how he found it in her closet only this morning.

Mina was squealing in delight and excitement. "I would never have imagined you pulling off this outfit Midori! I guess I was wrong. You look absolutely scrumptious!"

"His legs! Do you see his legs? His old baggy pants never did them justice!" Hagakure groaned out, making Izuku blush in embarrassment. This was weird, no one ever commented on him like that.

Funnily enough, for the next 3 minutes, everyone continued to voice out their opinion and praise for his outfit. Momo and Aoyama were eager to know more about his clothing preferences, where he buys his clothes, even whether or not he can do makeup.

"I only know the basics! But I never really felt the need to wear some since I'd sweat them off anyway..."

Momo clapped enthusiastically "I'll invite you to our next girls' night and we'll introduce you to all sorts of makeup brands that can withstand hero work if you'd like!"

Midoriya made his way to his seat as he nodded "That would be great if it won't cause you any trouble..."

"Nonsense! We'd be more than happy to invite you!" Momo insists as the rest of the girls cheered in agreement.

Mineta had frowned "If Midoriya was a girl... he'd totally be my type,"

Shouto, one of the few who had stayed quiet in the whole exchange retorted. "He's already my type... I think you look very attractive, Midoriya."

Bakugou, for some odd reason, took Todoroki's comment as a manner of offense, scowled at his direction. Shouto, not one to back down a challenge, glared back without really understanding the reason why.

"Dude! Todoroki going in for the kill!" Sero laughed at his boldness.

The heterochromatic boy shrugged. "It's only the truth... Midoriya, if anyone tries to negatively comment on your outfit...I will not hesitate to-" he furrowed his eyebrows as he glanced at Sero once. "...give them hell?"

The atmosphere felt a little different as everyone in Class 1-A silently agreed.

"I will not condone violence in this classroom!" Iida said, his hand chopping motions slowing down as he pushed up his glasses. "Though in the event, there may be instances where I have suddenly broken my glasses and will not be able to see clearly..."

"Iida!" Midoriya gasped.

Kaminari had just popped out of nowhere, patting the Class President's back. "I knew we could count on you Class Pres! You and your undying love for Midoriya!"

Tenya sputtered in sudden embarrassment. "Undying love-?! I have no idea what you're talking about Kaminari,"

"He totally does," Everyone else thought.

Midoriya was confused, flustered, and flattered all at the same time. "Uh guys... this isn't really that big of a deal--"

The door suddenly slams open just before anyone else could retort. Due to all the commotion, no one was able to hear the bell. Aizawa walked inside the room as all the students began shuffling back to their seats.

"Alright hellspawns," Aizawa drawled as he sipped his cup of coffee. "Would anyone like to explain why I could hear screaming from the teacher's lounge?"

There were varying degrees of answers. Some simply stated Izuku's name. Others explained the situation to him. Because of this, it all turned into an incoherent mess.

"Silence," Aizawa says simply as his eyes flashed bright red. Doing just that to everyone in the room.

Aizawa takes one good look at class 1-A's problem child and instantly understands the situation. Izuku feared that his teacher would ask him to leave or tell him to change or else he'll be dress coded. But then he just doesn't acknowledge it, not having the urge to say something about it as he proceeds to the general reminders he has for the class.

From then on, the day continued as normal. Izuku couldn't be any happier for the response he had gotten from all his teachers and classmates.

And if anyone had anything to say bad about Izuku and his clothing... Let's just say Izuku would often be confused at the number of apology letters he'd gotten at his locker.

"Why does this one look like it's been written with blood?"

"Must've been their final words...shame,"
