The Specter Family Chronicles
Holiday Special Year One
Chapter Thirteen: I Am Your Strength when
the Darkness Comes
December 21st, 2017
Specter Family House
Greystone, Massachusetts
Mike had woken twice again during the night, both times with nightmares about the attack. Harvey had sat up with him and held him. Now, he's wide awake, it's almost eight am. Mike is finally sleeping soundly curled up to him, and he's hesitant to move away from him. He can hear things happening downstairs. He knows they should probably get up and join them, but he doesn't want to wake the sleeping beauty beside him. Carefully extracting himself from Mike's embrace, Harvey got up and moved into the bathroom to shower. He let the warmth from the water embrace him, as he washed himself. He was in the middle of washing his hair when he felt a pair of arms around his waist. Mike kissed his shoulder, stepping into the shower, the water cascading around them. Harvey apologised for waking him, but Mike just kissed him. They just kissed for a while, then once Harvey had finished washing his hair, he pampered Mike, lathering up the poof before swiping it gently over his body. Mike shivered when it ran over his nipples, and bit his bottom lip when Harvey travelled lower to wash him, but he didn't move further. Once they had both washed, and rinsed, they got dressed, Mike in a simple button-down black shirt and dark wash jeans, and Harvey in a grey t-shirt and his black jeans. Mike joined their hands as they walked down the stairs, almost getting bowled over by children, yelling apologies as they ran past. Helena greeted them, welcoming them 'to the world finally', before explaining that they're heading to the Church Car Boot Sales in Calliope Park this afternoon, if they can 'stay awake long enough to join them'. Harvey didn't reply, he and Mike went and made themselves comfortable on the couch, the younger man curling into him, Harvey wrapping a protective arm around Mike. Calliope Park is gorgeous this time of year. In the center, there is a beautiful Cherry Blossom Tree, and surrounding that, are beautiful flowers from all over the world, and different interactive stops for the kids. There is a place where people can get married… he doesn't know why that popped into his head, but it did, and it made him smile, the thought of marrying Mike someday. Lily had called a temporary pause on Dare Week whilst they go to the Market this afternoon. Harvey was reluctant. He hates those kinds of things. People usually just sell their shit out the back of their cars. He's tempted not to go, but Mike asks if they can, and he smiles and whines, but says okay.
Unsurprisingly, Bella and Trevor are also at the Market when they get there. Lily greets them cheerfully, asking how their holidays have been. Harvey has an arm around Mike's shoulder, and he's snuggled up in all his winter clothes, but his eyes hold dark patches, from where he didn't sleep last night. He looks like he'd rather be anywhere but here, yet he and Harvey peruse the different 'stalls', and they actually find some 'not so terrible' things. Mike notices a guy selling a bunch of ties, and Harvey pulls Mike over to the table, laughing at some of them, especially when Mike asks what he would do if he rocked up to work wearing a SpongeBob tie. Harvey looked at him, eyebrow raised and motioned a scissor movement, to which Mike smiled. Harvey did actually buy three ties from the guy, basic, adult coloured ones, to go with his suits. Mike smiled; he likes Harvey's ties. Even if they're boring colours. At some point, they bumped into Trevor and Bella, who had a couple of bags full of things. Bella was telling Harvey how they're looking to 'decorate their place', and Harvey asked if she needed any help picking things out, or if she already had a pattern in mind. Bella and Trevor shared a look, and then the four of them headed over to a homewares section where, as Trevor put it later, Harvey 'really let his gay out'. Mike didn't really leave Harvey's side at all that day, until his brother was called over to help Damien, and he stayed back with Helena and Molly. They're standing on the sidewalk, watching their respective others trying to escape the snow that they're throwing at each other. Mike grabs his phone out, because there is always an opportunity for a picture, but something stops him. Whether it be the sun, just peeking out over the horizon as it gets later, or the laughter that he can hear from the family that he has surrounded himself with, he isn't sure. But there is absolutely something he is sure about. The minute he sees Harvey, standing underneath the Cherry Blossom tree, he gets a picture in his mind, of Harvey in a tuxedo, with Donna as his best-man, and all their family watching as they get married. Mike snaps a picture, so entranced by the scene in front of him, that everything else seems to fall away, until he hears Helena talking to him, and he turns his attention to look at her, apologizing for being 'somewhere else'.
'Where is your mind at Mike, you look like you're far away somewhere?' she asked, smiling
'Just… thinking…' he said, looking back over to Harvey, who is heading back towards him
'What about Mike?' she asked again
'Helena, one day I am going to marry your brother underneath the Cherry Blossom tree, right here in Calliope Park. Don't tell Harvey I said that though… we haven't really… discussed it,' he said, walking off, leaving the stunned eldest Specter sibling gaping, and then smiling in shock
Now that Mike is fair game for Dare Week, he's a little afraid of what might happen to him. The minute Harvey was back near him, the arm was back around his shoulder, holding him close as they continue to peruse the market. Surprisingly, they also ran into Greta and the kids, Mike and Harvey staying back a little behind Richard and the others who had blocked them from view. Greta said that Bruce had flown back to Alabama, but she had refused to go, wanting to stay here with the kids. She turned to Mike and Harvey and said that she does not hate them, that she is sorry she didn't stand up to Bruce on that night, that she does not accept what he said or did, or how he treated them. She looked over at Callum, who put his head down, but sent a small smile to Mike, who nodded back. Richard had a silent conversation with Harvey, who said that it was fine for them to stay if they wanted, and they did. For the most part, the kids seemed to enjoy having their cousins around, and Mike had to admit, little Tessa Marie was adorable. She's only five, but she can keep up with the other kids. Most of the town of Greystone was here for this market, and there were people cooking food, and shouting and just general cheer everywhere. Christmas had really hit. There were decorations on light posts, and tinsel strung wherever it could reach, even the park was decorated. No one really said anything to the two boys about why Mike was quiet, they were happy about that. He doesn't think he'd have the words to explain it anyway. By the time they had made their way around the entire market, it was almost two in the afternoon, and Helena stated that she's about 'ready to harm her children', because they were being annoying. Harvey and Mike offered to walk home with them, so they could stay if the wanted, and all the kids walked in front of the two men, laughing and shouting, whilst Harvey and Mike just talked softly behind them. When they got back to the house, 'Uncle Harvey' said that they're playing charades. Mike sat down on the couch, grabbing a blanket, and wrapping himself in it, whilst Harvey taught the kids how to play. They took it in turns, whilst Harvey and Mike guessed, and then when it was their turn, Mike had to laugh at his boyfriend, trying to act out movies they quote to each other all the time. Of course, the kids got it before Mike, who pretended to be 'devastated'. Caroline crawled up beside him, patted his arm and told him that it was 'okay, he'll get the next one'. Mike just thanked her, hi-fiving her.
Mike had dozed off on the couch by the time the rest of the family had returned home. Braiden ran out into the foyer and told them they're playing a game, and it's called the 'quiet game'. The adults looked at him oddly but chuckled when he ran back to the living room. Harvey was making food, and had just set it down on the bench, whispering to the kids that it was ready, before grabbing a plate for himself. He walked over to the couch and sat down near Mike. When the Specters entered the living room, and saw the kids, sitting, silently and eating, there were shocked faces all around. Harvey just shrugged as if to say 'what?' then went back to watching the movie. Helena asked Harvey if he would 'babysit more often', causing the kids to cheer, and Mike to wake up. He glared at his sister, who apologised now realizing the reason the kids were 'quiet'. Mike just looked over at everyone, asking them how their afternoon had gone, and Molly replied that it was nice, they got some presents for people and now they're going upstairs to wrap them. Mike nodded, smiling, and wrapping himself around Harvey's arm, kissing the man's cheek. The kids were so entranced in the movie, they didn't even hear anything their parents were saying about wrapping gifts. Harvey chuckled, and his mother sent him a wink. Richard was growling at his father for walking over without any warm weather gear, and Mitchell just told his son that 'he isn't weak'. Harvey didn't make eye contact with his grandfather, he doesn't know how that conversation would go, but he doesn't care either. Mike sneaks a bite from the sandwich he's eating, smirking at Harvey, who just kisses him. Mitchell, when they glance over, smiles at them nodding his head. Harvey breathes a sigh of relief. His grandparents are going to be staying with them again from now until Christmas. Harvey was never that close with his grandparents, not to say that he doesn't love them, he does. Mike seemed to bond well with Luna, his Nanna, and they had spent hours talking back at Thanksgiving. Mike's Grammy was probably the same age as his Nanna, that would be the reason, and so close to him having to say goodbye to her… it's reasonable that he would bond closely with Luna. Lily announced that Dare Week has recommenced, and the minute Marcus heard that, he sprinted into the living room, and pointed at Mike, who shook his head, and pleaded with the youngest Specter to reconsider. Helena had already ushered the kids out of the lounge and into the den, knowing what her brother is like.
'Mike…'
'Marcus, please reconsider. I can't do dares, I'm horrible at them…' he started, but was cut off
'Mike… I dare you to strip down and show us what has Harvey moaning your name so loudly at night…' Marcus said, and Mike buried his head in Harvey's shoulder
'What is the forfeit?' he asked, at the prompting of his boyfriend, who patted his shoulder
'You have to eat mom's lasagna without gagging,' Marcus said, almost gagging at the thought of it, Lily hit him over the head with a tea towel
Mike chose the forfeit. He didn't think Lily's lasagna was so bad. He was surprised when he was pulled into an almost bone crushing hug by Harvey's mother, thanking him, and stating that no one else likes her lasagna, that she's glad someone has good taste. Harvey kissed him, telling him that he's proud he survived his first Dare. Mike nodded, and he got a point on the board, then it was his turn to dare Marcus. He had some time to think about it and went upstairs to change into to something comfortable. Harvey quickly followed him up and was giving him ideas for how to get back at Marcus for trying to see him naked. Mike scoffed and asked Harvey if he was sure that Marcus was 'completely straight' because he did just ask Mike to 'see his dick'. Harvey didn't answer, but he did whisper in Mike's ear that 'he's the only other person (besides Mike) who gets to see his penis'. Mike smirked, hands on his hips, looking at Harvey as if he had an idea. He ran it past the lawyer, who was hesitant, but allowed Mike to go for it, after all if Marcus is confident and bold enough to do it to his boyfriend, then payback is a bitch. Marcus was seated at the kitchen counter when Mike returned to the living room, arms crossed smirk on his face. Harvey walked over and sat beside his brother, patting him on the back. Marcus looked between the two, and for the most part, he was a little scared of what Mike might dare him to do. Lily asked Mike if he was ready, and he nodded. It was no surprise that Mike threw Marcus' dare back at him, which the youngest Specter sibling wasn't expecting. However, the forfeit, was what Marcus was truly scared of. Mike had offered him the choice of pulling his pants down or doing the nude run through the town. Harvey was grinning a shit eating grin at him, and he knew that the two had planned this together. Mike didn't think that Marcus would ever take the forfeit, but the young man hit his fist against the bench, then said that he's taking the forfeit. Harvey looked at him like he'd lost his mind, and his mother told him that he was an idiot. It's a good thing it's dark outside. Next year, he's going to get Mike and Harvey back good. Harvey called the entire house to attention and told them that Marcus is doing the run. They all bolted downstairs, in the commotion, Mike had bolted upstairs to the room.
Mike changed into his sleepwear, pulling on a couple of shirts to keep himself warm, and a pair of long pyjama pants. He washed his face and took his medication in the bathroom, trying to beat the light headedness he was feeling. Finally, he climbed into bed, and grabbed his book from the nightstand, leaning back against the headboard and pillows, and opening to his bookmarked page. He could hear the hollers from downstairs and laughed to himself. To be honest, he didn't really want to watch. The only Specter he wants to see naked is Harvey. Mike smirked to himself. His eidetic memory allows him to visualise his boyfriend, crystal clear, in nothing but his birthday suit. Mike goes back to reading his book, soon enough Harvey will come and find him. When the commotion from downstairs had died down, he heard people coming up the stairs, and then the door to the bedroom opened, and Harvey entered, shouting something over his shoulder to Damien, then laughing. He closed the door and turned to look at Mike, who sent him a small smile, before going back to his book. Harvey sat down on the other side of the bed, asked if he'd taken his medication. Mike nodded, tilting his head into the touch of Harvey's hand on his cheek. Mike went back to reading whilst Harvey went through his night routine, then changed into his own sleep clothes, and climbed into bed beside Mike. Harvey had his laptop out on his lap and was writing an email. Mike couldn't see who it was too, but he was too involved in his book to really be paying attention. They sat beside one another in silence, but it wasn't a bad silence. Sometimes they can do this when they're at home, and it's good. Mike had shifted so that he was lying against Harvey's shoulder, still reading his book. Harvey had finished his email, and was now doing some work, shushing Mike when he told him that they're on vacation… he shouldn't be working… he wasn't really that mad. It was only ten o'clock when Mike told Harvey he was going to sleep, kissing his cheek softly and curling down into the comforter. Harvey turned his laptop off, returning it to the nightstand, and looked over at Mike, now sleeping beside him. Harvey flicked his light off, and curled up behind Mike, holding him tight to him. He didn't fall asleep straight away, just laid there holding Mike in his arms, whispering things that would help his boyfriend hopefully have a better night's sleep than he did last night.
'Harvey, stop thinking so loudly,' Mike suddenly said, making Harvey jump a little then chuckle
'Sorry, I didn't realise you could hear my thoughts…' he replied, in a whisper, chuckling
'You might think that I can't read you Harvey Specter. But I can read you better than you think,' Mike replied, kissing his neck
'I love that you can read me Mike. I love you,' Harvey replied, then they fell asleep.

Mike was woken in the morning by another panic attack. Harvey was in the shower. The blue-eyed lawyer fell back onto the pillows, taking deep breaths to calm himself. Mike had sent a text to his doctor in New York, asking if he could possible consider taking him off the medication he's currently on, and putting him back on Tangent. When he was on the other meds, he didn't have this many attacks, it seemed to work better. The one that he's currently on is experimental. But it doesn't work for Mike. Maybe it's just that he's in a new environment, or maybe it's the fear of Dare Week, or just something else that is bothering him. He doesn't know. He hears the shower turn off, and Harvey walks out into the bedroom, towel around his waist, and over to his suitcase to change. Mike got up and went in to take his medication and wash his face. Harvey was telling him that they're going to the Market again, this time there are meant to be different stalls, and his sister was telling him that there might be a crystal one that he's intrigued about. Mike calls out that it sounds fun, and then that he's getting into the shower. Mike lets the warmth wash over him. He reaches out to grab the soap and notices the shake in his hand. He doesn't want a seizure today. Not this close to Christmas. Harvey waited for Mike to finish his shower and return to the bedroom. He watched his boyfriend get dressed, trying as hard as he could to undress him at the same time. Mike tried to hide the shake in his hand from Harvey, he doesn't want him to worry anymore, he hates to think that he's hurting his boyfriend, he doesn't want to do that again. He doesn't like the pained look on Harvey's face. But of course, Harvey noticed the shake, taking his hand, and pulling him close, placing a hand on his cheek. Mike said that he wants to go off this medication. That he needs to go back on to the other one, that one at least worked for him. Harvey nodded, kissing him, and telling him that as soon as they get home, they'll see Dr. Faulk and get him swapped over, but Mike shook his head. He couldn't wait until they get back to New York. Harvey grabbed Mike's face, and kissed his boyfriend, telling him to try and calm down, follow his breathing. Mike shook his head, he was panicked. Harvey held him close, walking them over to the bed, he told Mike to sit down, he's going to call Dr. Faulk.
Mike's specialist, Dr. Faulk had made the choice to fly out to Massachusetts to see Mike, and asked Harvey to make sure that he was not put under any overt stress, that as soon as he got to Greystone, he would call and let Harvey know. He doesn't do this for all his patients, but Harvey had helped him out with a legal thing, so he figured that this made them even. Mike was lying on the bed, trying to control his mind. Harvey could see the shake in his hands getting worse. He had told Helena that he and Mike would meet them at the Market, which was good, because the rest of his family had gone. He didn't want to risk Mike leaving the house and having a seizure in a public place, it's one thing to happen in front of his family, but out there… they were just talking, Harvey was holding Mike's hand, feeling the shake when they came, and kissing his boyfriend to try and calm him down. Dr. Faulk (Paul) was on his hospitals red eye, meaning that he could be here within the next hour. Harvey didn't hear the rest of his family come home, until Molly walked past his bedroom. He called out to his sister-in-law and explained to her what was going on. She offered to sit with Mike whilst Harvey went to the Market, but he wouldn't leave the man's side. She nodded, telling Harvey to call her if he needed, that she's downstairs with the kids. He nodded. Mike was telling Harvey a story about the time he and his parents had gone around their neighbourhood snowballing people. Harvey chuckled, asking if they got in trouble, to which Mike shook his head, saying that 'everyone just joined in'. It was great, like a street wide snowball fight. Mike was only ten, but he was able to hit everyone, and the other kids played with him, not against him. It was like he had friends for the first time in his life. Wanting to keep him talking, Harvey asked Mike to tell him another story, and he launched into one about Louis, when they were in Chicago, and what he tried to make Mike do, and Jessica say. Harvey promised that he wouldn't share it with anyone or tell Louis that he knows. In turn, Harvey told Mike a story about him and Louis when they first started at the firm, how they used to be 'friends' almost and the one time that Louis actually did something that Harvey could tolerate. Mike's laughter was infectious, and his smile made Harvey smile. Then the seizure came.
'Mike…. Mike… MOLLY. MOLLY I NEED YOUR HELP… MOLLY,' Harvey called out, making sure to hold onto his boyfriend so he didn't hit his head
'Shit, okay. Hold him Harvey. Make sure you're timing everything,' she said, running to grab something from her room
'Mike baby, it's okay. I've got you. I'm here… Dr. Faulk is on his way. You're going to be okay,' Harvey whispered, as Molly returned, grabbing Mike's wrists, and counting
'When this Dr. Faulk guy gets here, I want to talk to him' Molly said, and Harvey nodded, just holding Mike tightly in his arms, not wanting to let him go as he seized.

The Night of the Attack
Manhattan, New York
Mike had wanted to ride his bike back to the condo. Harvey hadn't wanted him to, but he'd done it anyway. It was the stupid argument they kept having. Harvey didn't want anyone to know that he and Mike were 'together', therefore they couldn't leave together. But the closer had offered to send Ray to pick up and his bike up, then Mike would meet him at the restaurant. He is supposed to meet Harvey there at eight, it's seven forty. He was about two blocks away from the restaurant, when he was stopped by a guy. He'd managed, to stop his bike before he hit the guy, but only just. Mike got off and was apologising for almost hitting the man but wasn't expecting to be punched in the face. He was dragged into an alley, where the guy kept hitting him. Mike didn't think that it would stop, but he managed to get a kick to the guys stomach, sending him back a bit. Mike quickly got to his feet, but the other guy was quicker than him, and grabbed his arm, sending him back into the brick wall, then he felt a sharp pain in his side, and looked down to see that he was bleeding. The guy had stabbed him with an army knife. He felt the stabs continue to come. Mike couldn't figure out what was happening. Why this was happening to him. Then he heard the guy in his ear, whispering that this is what he got for 'being a little fucking gay boy'. Mike took an opportunity to look at his attacker, but he didn't recognise him. Did this guy know him from somewhere? The punch to the stomach sent him to the ground, he was begging the guy to stop, leave him alone. He was broken and bruised, and he couldn't really comprehend what else was going on. But he was lifted back to his feet by his tie and pushed back into the wall. He asked who the guy was, did he know Mike from somewhere, but he didn't answer, simply saying that he has been sent to 'do gods work' and 'kill all the faggots like him'. Mike shook his head, asked the guy to let him go, that he hadn't done anything to anyone. Didn't want any trouble, that it was an accident that he'd run into him, it wasn't on purpose. The guy banged him against the wall, and Mike's head hit it… hard. He was dizzy for a moment. Then he felt himself being pushed into the wall, his front still stinging from the stabs. His attacker drove something sharp into his back. Before he blacked out, he could feel something… something else, but he had blocked that from his mind. He blacked out after that.
When he woke up, his head was pounding. There was light and could hear people talking. When he managed to focus on his surroundings, he saw Harvey, dozing in a chair near his bed, arm resting on the chair, head on his hand. He had stubble, like he hadn't shaved in a month, and his clothes were crinkled, as if he hadn't bothered to change out of them. Donna spotted him awake, and immediately jumped up and ran over to him, kissing his forehead, and whispering, 'thank god' and holding his hand. She called out to Harvey, who upon waking and seeing his boyfriend awake, almost ran over to him, kissing him on the lips, and promising him that he is safe now. He's with them, and he's okay. Mike didn't really know what was happening. Donna and Harvey didn't let his hands go when the doctor came into the room, and explained that he had a massive cranial fracture, most likely from the crowbar that was driven into his skull. Thankfully, his memory is fine, but he had some cranial bleeding that they're keeping an eye on. He suffered several fractures to his ribs, some of which punctured his lung, and caused it to collapse, which they managed to prepare, but it's going to take a while to heal. Harvey just held his hand, squeezing it whenever the doctor said something that had happened to Mike. The stab wounds, there were about fifteen in total (Harvey gripped his hand in a vice grip when the doctor had said this), weren't critical, they didn't hit any major veins or arteries, but there will be scars on his back and stomach. Donna was tearing up, Mike asked her what was wrong, but she couldn't speak to overcome with emotions. Mike looked over at Harvey, who looked as though he wanted to murder someone, and asked what was going on. The doctor dodged the question, instead asking Mike to try and remember something, so he could test his memory. Mike was over the moon that his mind was fine. He needs that for his career. He still has an eidetic mind. He was happy about that. But Donna was still sobbing on his left, and Harvey hadn't let go of his hand on his right, so he asked again, what the hell was going on, why was Donna crying, and why did Harvey look like he wanted to murder someone. The doctor sighed, grabbing a file from the end of his bed, then he took his glasses off and turned to face Mike.
'Mr. Ross, when you were being examined, we found signs of… sexual assault,' the doctor said, as Donna tried to hold herself together beside him
'W-what? I-I don't remember that…' Mike said, looking at Harvey who wasn't looking at him
'It could have taken place after the incident with the crowbar. Mr. Ross, we have done all the regular tests, STD, HIV, just to be safe, and all your results came back clean. We would like to keep you in for a few more days, just to monitor your cranial fracture, and if you would like to speak with a councillor, we can arrange that. I'll leave you for now,' the doctor said, turning and leaving the room
'Harvey…' Mike whispered, trying to hold back tears when his boyfriend just left the room, Donna went after him

He was lying across Harvey's lap when he woke up. The older man was running his hand through his hair. It's a nice feeling, calming really. Mike reached up and caressed his cheek, pressing a kiss to Harvey's lips when he bent down the short distance, happy to see that he was awake. Molly was standing in the room, beside Dr. Faulk. Mike asked how long he had been out for, and Harvey said that he had slept for a good two hours. Molly had wanted to talk to the doctor who had prescribed something as ridiculous as Kethaltine to a patient with severe epilepsy. Harvey was smiling at him, and Mike smiled back. He feels like shit, and his head hurts, he can feel the headache coming on. Dr. Faulk told Mike that he's recommending Mike go back onto Tangent beginning immediately. However, he will need twenty-four hours to make sure all the Kethaltine is gone from his system, and that is the time that he is worried about. Mike not having any drugs in his system to stop his seizures means that he will need to be constantly monitored to make sure he doesn't have multiples in one stretch. Molly says that she and Harvey will be here to watch him, and then first thing in the morning, Mike can start on Tangent again. The younger lawyer nodded, telling the doctor that Tangent works for him, he was doing well on that drug, didn't have as many episodes, and certainly no seizures… Dr. Faulk nodded, and prescribed the drugs for Mike. Molly said that she will go to the pharmacy and pick them up right now. Dr. Faulk took a seat on the chair that had been brought in for him, and was asking Mike questions, about his emotional state, stress levels all those kinds of things. He asked how intimate he and Harvey had been, and although he blushed almost a red as a tomato, he answered that they were 'pretty regular'. Harvey smirked, kissing Mike, and winking at him. Faulk nodded, taking notes, and adding them to Mike's file. The two men thanked him for flying out here this close to Christmas. The doctor nodded, stating that he would do anything for his patients, and that he'll be back in New York before Christmas anyway. Mike was asked some more questions from Dr. Faulk, and he answered him the best that he could, also having Harvey help him out with some answers, and mentioned that he did have a memory slip at the beginning of their vacation, which Dr. Faulk notes down, scanning a sheet in front of him.
Molly had gone down to the pharmacy to pick up Mike's new medication. She knew the people that worked there, so it was more than likely they would let her take it. On the way, she spotted the family, gathered around near the Markets, and hoped that she wasn't spotted coming back from the pharmacy. Dr. Faulk had given Harvey a copy of Mike's file and thanked him for the opportunity to see Greystone. Apparently, his wife is from here. Harvey nodded, and thanked him for flying out, offering to drive him back to this hotel, but the Dr. declined, stating that he might go 'check out the markets'. Harvey nodded, and was about to close the front door, when he saw Molly pull back into the drive. They went back into the house together, and Harvey thanked Molly for helping him out with this. She tutted, telling him that Mike is family, she will always help when needed. She reminded Harvey that it isn't his fault, and the lawyer nodded hugging her. Molly had never really been hugged by Harvey before, so she took advantage of it whilst it was happening. When he pulled away, she handed him the bag of medication, and he ran back upstairs to Mike. His boyfriend was sleeping. He knew that the next couple of days were going to be difficult, especially for Mike. But if this is the stuff that helps him, if it doesn't better than what he's on now, then he's willing to do it to keep Mike safe… he should've done it back then as well, and now he lives with that regret. But he can't think about that. All they have it what is now. He has Mike, and he's never going to let him go. When Harvey got back to the room, Mike was just lying on the top of the duvet, looking around the room. When he saw Harvey, he smiled, calling his boyfriend over to him. Harvey snuggled up to him, and Mike pressed a kiss to his forehead, running his fingers through the soft hair. Telling Harvey that he loves him, and that he's thankful that things happened the way they did, even if his life has been shit, he has Harvey and his family now, so something good came from all the crap to happen in his life. Harvey smiled, and whispered that he was an asshole, making Mike ride his bike on that night, and when the doctor had informed them of what had happened… he was mad, and felt guilty… Mike kissed him.
'You, Harvey Specter, are the most amazing man I have ever known. You are not the same person you were back then. You have grown, you have changed. We have changed together. I love you, Harvey,' Mike said, almost in a whisper.
'Mike, you are so strong baby. Stronger than me, I probably would've given up, but you didn't. I love that about you. I know that it's not my fault, I just wish you didn't have to be in pain. You've been through enough in your life,' Harvey replied
'Yes, but all that pain led me to you Harvey. It led me here. It might have sucked at the time, but it led me here. You saved me in more ways than one Harvey. You are stronger than you think,' Mike whispered, hands either side of his face, eyes connected, and Harvey could see that it was truth in Mike's eyes, he smiled
'You saved me too Mike. You still do, every day. You make me stronger and I love you for that,' Harvey replied, kissing him Mike kissed back, trying to kiss the emotions into his boyfriend's mouth
