Cole couldn't stop staring at what was before him. It was a 100% real positive pregnancy test.. He dropped everything that he was holding and grabbed the pregnancy test. He couldn't stop staring. His heart was racing, was it his? Was it any of the others? Who had she slept with recently to have this happen?! That's when he noticed her open diary and grabbed it and looked at her latest entry.

'I can't believe it. I got pregnant! After all this waiting until I got married thing, I got fucking pregnant! And what's worse is I don't know who the father is. I have a few ideas on who it could be, but I can't be sure. I don't know how long I've been pregnant for. I just know, I haven't had my period in a while and while I usually chalk it up to being normal in my case, I thought it was a little TOO late and I had to take a test. So I'm completely lost on who the father is…What am I going to do now?'

As Cole read more of her diary, he suddenly heard her door open and quickly put the diary down, but it was too late. He looked over to see who it was and it was Alice, coming back to grab her purse.

The second that he saw her, he ran to her and grabbed her shoulders roughly, his eyes wide, his pupils practically pin pricks as he looked into her confused, frightened blue eyes.

"Whose is it!?" He demanded her.

Alice, not knowing what he was talking about, tried to move his hands, but he had a tight grip on her shoulders. "W-What are you talking about?" She asked, frightened.

Cole shook her as he felt an indescribable rage. "Don't mess with me! Whose child is it!?" He asked, practically yelling at her.

Alice's eyes widened and her heart dropped as she realized he found out. But then she got angry at him for looking through her stuff. "You were looking through my stuff!?" She yelled as she tried to push him off, but once again, he had a tight grip.

Cole let out a stale chuckle. "You can be upset at me all you want, but I have a right to know about something like this! How can you hide something like this from me!?" He yelled as his grip on her became tighter. Alice tried to fight his grip as it was beginning to hurt her, but he wouldn't let go.

"Excuse me!? You don't own me! You have no right to know everything!" She argued.

Cole pulled her in for a tight embrace. "You are my everything, you are the reason I live and breathe. You are more important to me than my next breath. I have to make sure you're okay. If you weren't…I couldn't live on, knowing you were hurt, or worse!" He said, his tone was shaky and panicked, he sounded like she was going to disappear right this second.

Alice swallowed hard. There it is again..that weird nature of his..

Alice didn't say anything as he continued; "I have grown so fond of you. Now I find the thought of losing you, of sharing you... Intolerable. What would it take, I wonder, to make you forget all those other boys... I'm tempted to cage you and keep you to myself forever…"

Alice suddenly had a very bad feeling as he admitted to his wanting to cage her. What the hell was wrong with him right now and why was he acting like this? Alice gently pulled away from Cole and looked at him, his eyes held some sort of emotion that Alice couldn't pinpoint. He tried to go in for a kiss but Alice backed up, Cole noticed and didn't like that.

"Is something wrong?" He asked her, his grip on her shoulders getting even tighter.

Alice swallowed hard. "D-Do you mean it?" She asked, kind of frightened.

Cole ran a finger down her cheek as he purred loudly. "You are my one and only, my love. If I could..I would..just so that I could protect you.." He said ominously as he twisted his finger around her hair.

Alice felt fear at the pit of her stomach as he admitted to actually wanting to cage her. What the hell was wrong with him? Why did he want to cage her? Why was he acting so weird right now? She knew Cole had always been a little quirky, jealous even. But for him to go to such lengths?! That was worrying.

"Cole..you're starting to worry me.." She said softly.

Cole, noticing her becoming slowly afraid of him, realized he had to relax. If he didn't stop his obsessive nature she'd find out more about him than he'd like and would have to take extreme measures in the long run. He had to diffuse the situation and took a breath.

"Sorry, I can be…passionate with you, my love. You are everything to me, you sometimes make me lose control of myself." He said, relaxing his grip on her shoulders.

Alice looked into his eyes, she could see genuinity in them and sighed in some sort of relief. It seemed like he wasn't too far gone, she figured. Maybe she could help work on his jealousy issues when she got the chance.

As Alice was about to say something, a realization came to her. "Oh crap! I'm supposed to be grabbing my purse! I forgot! I gotta go! I love you!" She said as she grabbed her purse and kissed Cole and left.

-With Alice and her sisters-

Alice and her sisters had gone to a nearby mall to walk around, talk and hang out. Right now they were sitting at the food court, having a casual conversation, until it took a turn.

"So..I see that Cole really loves you." Alexis pointed out as she ate her burger.

Alice looked at her quizzically, as if to wonder where this came from. "Uh, yeah. He does, and I love him too." She said with a smile.

"Alice." Lilian called out, Alice looked at her. "Yes?"

"Elise, Alexis and I got to talking while you were grabbing your purse and..we're kind of worried. Not just about you, but about him. What you told us..It just..doesn't sit right with us. I mean, did it ever occur to you how he knew where to be to capture your so-called 'culprit'?" Lilian explained.

Alice dropped the fry she was holding as she felt an unsure feeling in the pit of her stomach. The same feeling that she felt when they got their 'culprit'. She tried shrugging it off. "I-I mean…maybe he got lucky?"

The three sisters looked at each other. She was most likely in denial about his weird nature. "Well, let's see…how does he treat you?" Elise asked as she drank her soda.

Alice took a deep thought. "While he can be really jealous at times, he's kind, he's handsy, he's told me that I matter more than his next breath. Uhh he can be rough with me sometimes during or not during our love making, he's over all…a little weird, but he told me it's because I can make him a little..passionate, sometimes." She explained.

Lilian hummed as she ate her fries. "It sounds to me that he's borderline obsessed. I mean…with the way he said 'he would never let anything happen to you' and…I just have to ask because I'm only cautious, have you ever confirmed his place of work? What I mean is, did you take it at face value or actually took it up to your boss and asked about him?"

Alice swallowed hard. No, she did not take it up to her boss…she took it at face value, something that she had learned not to do for the longest time. Then why did she take it at face value at the time? Was it because she got distracted by his cunning and alluring nature? Or was it because the document looked too authentic to even be considered fake? She couldn't remember why. All she knew was she was in deep shit because of it.

Lilian took note of her silence and nodded as she got the hint. "That was reckless of you Ali, what if you took in a dangerous man? I mean really, how much do you know about him?"

"Lilian!" Alexis exclaimed. "We don't know if he's dangerous yet! We just don't know the validity of his work or the culprit he caught!"

"Oh please, Alexis, look at the facts! He possibly forged a document, he, by some random fucking luck, captured a 'culprit' and even Alice has said that he can be jealous and he's told her that she mattered more than fucking breathing! Clearly this guy is a dangerously obsessed lover!" Elise burst out.

Alice stood quiet during the sisters quarrel. Was it true? Was he obsessed? Was he dangerous? Was she wrong when she arrested their 'culprit'? He was pretty weird with the other guys..and he did sometimes get aggressive with them… Alice suddenly felt very sick and put a hand to her forehead. Lilian, who was mediating Elise and Alexis, took notice that Alice looked very pale.

"Hey..you alright?" She asked her.

Alice fanned herself as she suddenly felt very hot. "I-I..don't feel..good." She said as she held back the urge to vomit.

Elise and Alexis immediately stopped arguing as they noticed her paleness. "Hey..should we take you home?" Elise asked.

Alice shook her head. "N-no.."

"Are you sure you want to stay out?" Lilian asked.

"L-Lilian..Take me to y-your p-place." She said, still holding back her puke.

Lilian nodded, and soon the three sisters helped Alice up and get into the car and soon they were driving to Lilian's place.

-Lilian's place-

The three sisters helped Alice inside the house and she immediately ran to the nearest bathroom and puked. Lilian was there in the bathroom with her, holding her hair so that none of it got puked on. Soon Alice finished puking and washed up. Lilian rubbed her back.

"Hey..what happened? You rarely get sick." She pointed out to Alice.

"Well.."

Alice explained her pregnancy situation to Lilian, and as she finished her tale, Lilian was shocked.

"YOU'RE PREGNANT!?" She yelled.

Soon, there were thundering footsteps making their way up to the bathroom and Elise and Alexis were standing at the doorway of the bathroom.

"WHO'S PREGNANT!?" Alexis yelled.

Lilian pointed at Alice, Alexis and Elise looked at her blankly before breaking out into a bunch of squeals and jumping up and down.

"Guys! No! This is serious! What happens if Cole finds out it's probably not his!?" Lilian exclaimed.

The two sisters immediately stopped squealing and jumping as the gravity of the situation hit them.

"Alice.." Elise squeaked out. "You're…not going to go home yet are you?" She asked.

Alice sighed. "Not yet..I-I need to figure some stuff out." She said as she ran a hand through her hair.

The three sisters nodded. "Well, you're welcome to stay with me until you're ready to go home." Lilian said.

Alice nodded. "Thank you."

Soon after some chatter, Elise and Alexis had to leave. Leaving Lilian and Alice alone. The two were in Lilian's living room watching tv. Alice had texted the group chat of her lovers that she wouldn't be home for a few days as 'Lilian invited her to sleepover' everyone texted her to stay safe and have fun….all except Cole. he had been texting her nonstop asking her if she was okay, if she needed anything for him, if he had done something wrong, all of that. Lilian noticed her phone blowing up and looked at Alice. "Is..everything okay?" She asked

Alice sighed. "Cole won't stop texting me." She said as she watched her phone vibrate.

"Have you answered his texts?" Lilian asked.

Alice shook her head. "I don't know why, but after what you guys said…I can't bring myself to talk to him.." She said as she was close to tears.

"Hey.." Lilian called out and put a hand on Alice's leg. "What if we're completely wrong? We can't be too sure." She said, trying to comfort her.

Alice took in her words and nodded. Yeah…they could probably be wrong..that has to be it…Right?
