The newlywed Luz and Amity were flying above the Boiling Isles searching for their new home.
"I wonder what it looks like." Luz said as she steered the airship around the edge of Bonesborough."I don't know i just know it will be perfect for the two of us to settle down." Amity said, holding her wife's loving arm."I wonder how long it will take us to find it. It might take the rest of the day to find it. It might even.." Luz said before she was interrupted by Amity" Luz I think it's the purple house with flowers and balloons in front of it with the banner welcome home Luz and Amity." At that moment Luz looked down
and saw what Amity described and said"Oh right it could be that." looking slightly embarrassed she was quick to begin the airships descent towards said house. Once the airship made landfall in front of the House Amity was beginning to make her way out of the airship before Luz grabbed Amity into her arms causing the witch to blush intensely. "Luz what are you doing?" Amity exclaimed. "It's human tradition to carry the bride over the threshold of the house and considering you are the one in the dress,
I'm gonna carry you." Luz said and like that the two made their way to the front door. The house, while it paled to the size of blight manor was larger than your average house in the boiling isles. The two had just reached the door when Luz said"Did either of them give you a key?" Amity looked at her wife and said" No Batata I Assumed they gave you the key." Luz realizing neither had the key was frustrated before she realized" Hey the airship had a 2nd key on board that has to be it." and like that the two made
their way back to the airship to retrieve the key all while Amity was still in Luz arms. When the two approached the door a 2nd time putting the key into the lock the door opened and once they stepped across the threshold the light went on revealing a beautiful interior. Luz, putting Amity down, went to sit down in a nearby chair" Let me catch my breath. Holding you for that long was pretty exhausting." She said, Amity looking around noticed the intricate detail put into the house. As you entered you saw a lovely
living room with a stone fireplace, a luxurious couch, and a Flatscreen tv from the human realm. "Luz it's wonderful" Amity said as she noticed a note pinned on a table in the entrance area. Grabbing the note she read" Dear Luz and Amity, this house was built to embrace the best of the human realm and the demon realm, we hope you will love it as much as we love you. Love Alador and Camilia." Amity tearing up as she read the note handed it to Luz who was quickly brought to tears as well. "Well that's enough
sitting around let's take a tour of our new home. The two made their way to the kitchen to find it was beautiful. It had an exquisite marble countertop, modern appliances from the human realm and a quaint table in the corner for 4. Just as they were about to check the next room luz noticed a book atop the stove. She went to grab it and saw it was a cookbook containing all of her mothers recipes. Turning to the last page she found a sticky note. It read " Dear mija, good food and a warm kitchen are what make a
house a home. Here are all my recipes you loved as a kid. I hope you put this book to good use. You make me proud everyday, love Mom." reading this made Luz begin to tear up. Before Amity came to give her a hug. They next went to see the dining room and it had a wonderful hand carved table for 8. The two noticed how the molding had carved snakes and cats. The two then saw the main floor half bath. It was simple, not too fancy but got the job done. Next was their nerd cave and boy was it special it had
shelves containing all copies of the good witch Azura plus Luz fav mangas. 2 gaming desktops with top of the line rigs and a shelf containing all their fav movies and tv shows. "It's like they could read our minds, Amity." Said Luz as she was awestruck by how perfect the house was. "The best is yet to come, let's go upstairs." Amity said and the 2 made their way to the 2nd floor. The upper floor had 5 rooms. The first was a 2nd full bathroom, a little nicer but still pretty second room was a guest room containing a
queen size mattress, a dresser ,a tv, 2 night tables, and a crystal ball. The third room was a study with shelves containing vast books on spells and the history of the boiling isles for the bookworm Amity. Fourth was the master bedroom island. It had the works: a king sized mattress, an adjacent master bath with a walk in shower, a bathtub that doubled as a jacuzzi and double sinks. The master had a deluxe walk-in closet already containing all of their clothes. Adjacent to the bed was a dresser with photos of them , their friends and their family. On each side of the bed had 2 nightstands. Luz went to jump on the bed and exclaimed" This is the most comfy bed I've ever been on in my
life." Amity followed suit"Your right Luz it's like sleeping on a fluffy cloud." "Amity, I wonder what's in store for us in the final room." Luz said. " Well, there's only one way to find out." Amity said and as the two went to open door number 5 excited at what could be behind it they were disappointed to find it empty with nothing but a note reading " we couldn't figure out what to put here, but were sure the answer will come to you one day." With that the house was done but just as they began to head out Amity noticed
from a quick glance out the back window a shed behind the house. "Could it be?" she said and she ran down the stairs and out the back door and made her way in to find a fully stocked abomination workshop. It contained all the tools her dad used to work on abominations. She was stunned. As she looked around she found a note, picking it up it read" Dear Amity, you have grown so much from the little mittens I held in my arms all those years ago. Not only have you grown into a fine witch but into a wonder woman. A woman I am proud to call my daughter. Here is my last wedding gift to you. An abomination workshop built to exact specification of my own. I know you will put it to good
use. Love Dad." tears fell from her eyes as she read the final words. Luz walked in seeing Amity cry and asked" What's wrong my sweet potato?' "Nothing Luz, it's just this day has gone better than I could have ever dreamed." Amity said, drying up her tears. "Well there's 1 more thing my mom left us." and with that the two made their way back to the house. Coming inside, Luz showed her a jug painted with the dominican flag containing a dark reddish liquid. "Luz what is it?" Amity asked. "It's mamajuana, a
dominican alcohol of rum, red wine, and honey with tree bark and herbs that also has some benefits for night time if you know what i mean." Luz said, taking a shot of the beverage. Amity, curious to what the drink was like, also decided to have a shot. "Luz this drink has me thinking the day is coming to a close, we are all alone in our new home, no friends, no family to interrupt us you know what this means?" aAmity said as she danced her hand up Luz arm. "We can binge watch anime all night!" Luz shouted,
causing Amity to facepalm. "Luz no i was thinking of breaking our new bed in if you know what i mean." Amity said, whispering it directly into Luz's ear causing her to blush."Oh yeah that works too, well last one upstairs is a rotten gryphon egg." Luz said pushing Amity out of the way"Oh it's on luz." Amity said running after her wife for night the two wouldn't forget….
….The next morning….
Amity Noceda Blight woke up head groggy in her new bed in nothing but her underwear. She turned to her side to see luz was not there. Wondering where her wife went she was relieved to hear the sounds of cooking coming from downstairs. Quickie getting dressed in a tank top and shorts she made her way down to see Luz up and about making breakfast."Good morning sleepyhead." said luz." I made scrambled gryphon eggs with bacon and some caffe con leche with oat milk." Luz said as she handed her the mug. "Thanks babe." Amity said as she took a sip of the coffee, just what she needed to wake up. " Well eat up Amity because we got a busy day ahead of us." Luz said." Luz what
are you talking about?' Amity said, puzzled as she sat down and began to eat her plate." Well we have to pack for our honeymoon." Luz said as she took a sip of her coffee." Oh right, But batata you haven't told me where we're going." amity said taking a bite out of her bacon. "Well I wanted to keep it a surprise so close your eyes and put your hand out." Luz said to which Amity closed her eyes and stuck out her hand feeling a pamphlet inserted in her hand."Okay now open them." Luz said and as Amity opened her
eyes she could make out these words" Puerto Rico: The Island Of Enchantment." Amity smiled."Remember the library when we were kids. I said I'd show you around the human realm and this is the nest stop on that promise." Luz said Amity leaned over the table and hugged her wife and screamed "I love it!" Luz not wanting her breakfast splattered on her wife said. "Okay okay Amity please don't get breakfast all over yourself." Amity realizing what she was about to do pulled away slightly embarrassed. "How did you afford this luz?" amity asked. " I got an advance on my 1st book and put it towards our honeymoon. Plus my uncle owns a coffee farm on the archipelago and I haven't seen him in years." and with that the two newlyweds finished their breakfast and began the packing of their bags for their honeymoon.
Honeymoon will be a separate fanfic. Sorry for the delay was a bit ill and worked had me backed up but I will do my best to keep to my schedule of every week or 2.
