I am alive! Work has been rough because people keep calling in and I don't have enough stuff to give to the customers and I'm letting my friend/old co-worker live with me because of homelessness, etc. Anyway here is chapter 2.
Walking back, Nico saw McGee was still with Percy, taking an interest in the SPQR. "Thank you for saving New Rome, Percy. The Twelfth Legion Fulminata will always remember you."
"McGee, who are you, son of Rome?" McGee turned to see Nico with a massive hellhound behind him.
"I could ask the same about you Nico?"
"To Rome I am the Ambassador of Pluto, but in actuality I am Nico Di Angelo, prince of the Underworld, cousin of Percy… no, Sergeant Perseus Andrew Jackson." Tears fell from his eyes as Mrs. O Leary whimpered and went to lie down next to her fallen master as Nico ran his hands through her fur, calming them both down.
"I'm sorry for your loss Nico. Should you even be here?"
"Yes. I will find the thing responsible for this and end them, I swear it on the Styx." Thunder shook the sky as Abby Soutio entered the morgue, holding some papers as she glanced at the hellhound, slowly going for her ring,
"Don't do it Abby, the hellhound is Percys." McGee told his comrade as the bodies in the mourge shook as Mrs. O'Leary growled at the demigoddess.
"Stay girl. Abby, what is this and who's your parent?" Nico grabbed the papers, the words floated upwards as he grabbed them, rearranging them.
"Whatever killed him had large amounts of toxins and was deep, like a knife. And I'm adopted, but I am a magician of the house of Life ." She said with Nico calmed down, forcing the memories down, lest his co-workers face off against the undead.
Four people entered the morgue as Abby and McGee left the room, the woman of the group rushed to Nico hugging him as tears stained his uniform. She was hysterical as the two men, followed by Ducky tried to pull her away. Nico bowed his head to his uncle, as he hugged the fathers.
"Thank you for meeting us and my condolences for your loss Lord N *cough* Mr. Olympia, and Mr. and Mrs. Jackson.
Nico's head snapped to his mentor with Mrs. O'Leary wrapping herself around Sally, rubbing herself on her, giving her licks as her hands ran through her fur.
Poseidon shivered as his Roman, and Greek forms collided. "Uncle Poseidon!"
"Lord Neptune!" Both demigods looked at each other and back to the shifting God before he settled back into his Grecian aspect, panting.
Grabbing Sally's hand the two walked towards their son, Paul looked at his stepson from where he was, he figured while he may be the father figure to the boy; he was not the one to create him in a night of love and passion.
Sally's tears reached Percy's body, no longer healing the Prince of the sea. "Nico, sweety. Whatever did this, send them to Tartus." Sally looked at him with unbridled rage in her voice but her tone was sweet as honey.
Gulping, the son if Hades nodded his head, knowing denying her wish would bring her wrath upon him. The earth shook with power as an oceanic aura filled the room. "Whoever did this, I, Posiedon, curse them and their kin ten-fold, they shall know no pristine water, storms shall surround them all their nights and the earth will scourge the very steps they take. I swear this oath to the river Styx." The aura and shaking stopped as Poseidon stroked his finger against his son's cheek, adding his tears to his lovers.
"Nephew I know this is stressful for you too, but I'd like you to do the funeral service please."
"I would be honored to Uncle… Lord Posiden." Nico bowed to the man as a giant of a man walked into the room with a woman with a child whose eyes burned like cinders with her hair braided behind her.
The giant stood there, crying his eye out as the girl walked to the corpse, glancing at the tattoo over his heart. "Perseus, my only champion." Her tears fell down her soft cheeks but evaporated upon leaving her skin.
"Brother!" Tyson wailed as he softly cradled his half brother's body as the Jackson family cried with him; Nico and Dr. Mallard left the room, closing it as crying, wails, and howling filled the room.
"Shouldn't you be in there, morning with your family as well, Mr. Di Angelo?" Ducky asked as they rode the elevator.
"I'll grieve when I send the monster to Tartus. I swear it on the godsdammed Styx."
