I arrive in the lab, where Bulma is hard at work behind a computer screen. "How's it going?" I say as I walk up to her.

"Well, I managed to isolate the energy signature the dragon balls are giving off."

"That's great news." She smiles at my enthusiasm.

"What is it exactly that you want to use the dragon balls for, you never did say?"

"Well...actually I want use them multiple times. First I want to wish for my Grandpa to come back to life."

"Wait your grandpa?"

"Ah, yeah I don't like talking about it, I accidentally killed him pretty recently. He was the one that took care of me after I landed here."

"You killed him..accidentally?"

I look down, touching my finger tips together sheepishly. "Um...yeah. Remember how I said my species turn into giant apes during the full moon."

Her eyes widen slightly. "...Yeah."

"Well, I mean...a lot of us don't actually have control over ourselves when it happens. I...accidentally crushed him."

"Oh Amako, That's horrible." She says, suddenly grabbing me up in a hug. I lean into the hug.

"Well, of course we can use the dragon balls to bring your grandpa back, what else did you want to use them for."

"Well...I also want to bring my parents back, and...maybe bring my brother here since he can't use the transmitter to find me anymore."

She nods her head in understanding. "Yeah that sounds good."

"Yeah, the main problem is you only get one wish, and the dragon balls take awhile to recharge."

"Yeah, its gonna take awhile then, well I'll give you the radar once I'm through with it."

I smile at her. "Thanks a lot, you're the best."

She laughs."I know."

About a week later the dragon ball radar was completed and I went on my journey...it took a day to find them all. It being so early in the timeline the Red Ribbon army wasn't even looking for the dragon balls yet.

Most of them I just flew in faster than anyone could see, and took them. I decided to actually take my time with two of them though.

I walk up to the flaming castle staring in awe. I've never seen so much fire in any of my lives. All of a sudden I hear a loud voice say. "Hey you, little girl, get away from there that's dangerous!"

I turn to see the largest...human? I have ever seen. Seriously, how the hell is ox king a human? He's a walking mountain. I'm not even four foot tall. If I was the old me, I would be pissing myself.

I wave hello with a large smile, hopefully showing that I'm not a thief. "How are you doing Ox king."

He comes over and asks. "What are you doing here, you aren't a thief are you?"

I shake my head real fast. "No sir, or...at least I've come to help you in exchange for something from your castle."

He narrows his eyes at me..I think. Hard to tell with the goggles. "Are you trying to trick me?"

"No sir I swear...I'm Son Gohan's granddaughter, Son Amako."

His eyes go wide mouth agape, easier to tell this time because of the mouth. "WHAT!?"

I hold up my hands saying wait a minute. "Adoptive granddaughter."

"Ah, that makes more sense." He says while belly laughing.

"So how is my old friend?"

I look down."He's dead, he was killed about a year ago by a...by a monster."

He collapses and sits on the ground. "Ah, I see, that's a shame. He was a good person, and rival...So, what do you need from me? Also, how can you help me?"

I look at him sadly. "Well, I'm sure you have heard the legend of the dragon balls."

"What, that old myth?"

"Yeah, It's all real though."

He looks at me in disbelief. "Look, I know how it sounds. But it's real, and I want to wish for my grandpa back. I even trained under Kami, the one that created them."

He stares at me for a long time. "You..trained under...Kami?" I nod.

"Fine, if you can beat me in a fight, then I will acknowledge that you're telling the truth."

"Crap, look I don't want to hurt you by accident, I'm not that good at holding back yet."

He looks at me in contemplation...or maybe it's just him thinking I'm full of shit. Again hard to say with that stupid mask. "So be it...in that case. If you can put out the fire then you can have the dragon ball anyways. But, only someone of immense power can put that out."

I nod my head and start walking away, he nods his head as if to say that's what I thought. I turn to him and say."Are you going to continue standing in the blast radius?"

"What?"

"What, did you think I was running away? Get the heck out of the way before you get killed."

He's taken aback, but starts following me. Once far enough away, I sense to see if there is anyone in the line of fire.

Sensing no one in front. I point my two fingers at the castle. He looks at me, probably thinking what the heck is this tiny girl going to do.

The green energy starts condensing at the end of my fingers into a marble sized ball. Unlike last time I try to control it more. A pencil thin beam shoots out. Piercing a hole through the castle. At super sonic speeds. Then a Shockwave hits.

The castle is knocked down instead of being completely destroyed, all the trees in front of me are knocked down as well, but the fire is out. Not nearly as much destruction as when Roshi used the Kamehameha.

I smile proudly. And stick my tongue out at his gawking face. "Told you so."

"How did you do that!?"

"Well...training."

He looks at me. "Your definitely not a human are you?"

I unfurl, and swish my tail at him teasingly."how'd you guess?"

Him noticing the tail goes back to gawking at me. "Yeah, you were right. I don't think I would survive fighting you. I think I'm about ready to retire, this generation is nuts."

He shakes himself out of his stupor, and clinches his fists. "Right!" and he bows to me. "I'm terribly sorry for doubting your words. You have my eternal gratitude."

I smile at him. Run up to him and hug him. Knocking him on the ground. It's like an earthquake. Literally like hugging a mountain. "It was no trouble at all. You know you're basically an uncle to me. I didn't just do it for the dragon ball you know. I could have easily just gone in and took it."

He picks me up in his hand like a puppy. Looking down at me smiling. Then he belly laughs again. "I guess you're right. That fire probably wouldn't have affected you at all...if you were a boy, I'd actually ask if you wanted to marry my daughter Chichi to get you into the family...I would be happy if you became my adoptive daughter, and Chichi's adoptive sister instead."

I smile widely at him. "I would love too."

"Excellent! We should go to the village for a feast."

Still carrying me like a puppy towards the village we finally run into Chichi. Or more like she runs into us. Out of breath from running she tries to ask what was that huge explosion was.

Able to deduce what she was trying to ask, the ox king speaks first. "Ah, that was little Amako here." he says while holding me up. "She is incredibly powerful from being trained by Kami, I've decide to ask her to join the family."

She stares in disbelief. "...What!?"

I wave at her awkwardly. "Hello, my name Is Son Amako. I hope we get along." She stares at me for a bit longer. Then passes out. Me and my new adoptive dad stare at each other. He rushes towards her. I float down to check on her. Then he picks us both up, and we head to the village to get a feast ready. She'll be fine I'm sure.

About an hour later Chichi wakes up. I hand her some water. "How are you doing?"

she looks at me for awhile. I guess rebooting, realizing all of it was real. "...Fine. It was just, so surprising. Seeing a huge explosion, and being told I suddenly have a sister out of nowhere."

"Yeah I get it, things moved pretty fast. Honestly...he said if I was a boy he wanted me to marry you." Her face goes bright red. So adorable. I squee at her. She startles.

"I'm sorry, you're just so adorable." She turns away bashfully holding her face in her hands.

"I hope to become friends."

She recovers, and turns to me and whispers. "Me too."

I forgot how shy young Chichi was. In DBZ she's like the angriest character. Hell she even scares Piccolo.

We eventually go to the feast. It's basically the most food I've seen in this world yet. At the toast the villagers cheered. They started calling me a hero, and thanking me. I just awkwardly bowed.

I went back to the castle ruins to finally dig out the dragon ball. Then I hugged the Ox King, and Chichi before leaving. Telling Ox King that I would say he said hi to master Roshi.

Arriving at Kame house. Looking at it. I kind of love it. I knock on the door and hear an old man yell. "Come in." So I walk right in...to an old bald man laughing perversely at women doing aerobics on the TV.

He hasn't even actually noticed me yet it seems. So deciding to screw with him. "Hmm, what are those women doing?"

He startles hearing a little girl asking. "Nothing! They're just dancing! Who are you?!"

I laughed. "You're pretty funny mister." He rubs his head awkwardly. "Master Roshi. I'm Son Amako. Son Gohan's adoptive granddaughter. I've come to get your dragon ball to resurrect my Grandpa. He was killed a little over a year ago by a monster."

He just stares gaping at me, then he shakes his head to snap out of it. "What the heck!?"

"Yeah I know it's a lot to take in."

"Well here you go." He takes it from around his neck, and hands it to me.

I stare at him dumbfounded. "Really...that's it, no weird perverted stuff?"

He looks at me. "What the heck do you take me for, even I have limits!" I chuckle. "Plus I just do stuff like that for the greedy ones. Bringing back My old student is definitely a righteous cause. Just tell him to come around every now and again."

I Hug him, and thank him. Before leaving to Bulma's
