Shadow Moth tried to akumatize Marinette but instead, Adrien takes the hit to save her and becomes Cat Blanc. Now the akuma is literally inside his heart, it cannot be removed or it will kill him. He's now in control of himself and not interested in taking the miraculous.

Ladybug and Chat Noir have longed to retire after the last Hawkmoth's defeat. Paris has been deemed safe while Marinette and Adrien moved to America. After someone breaks into Agreste Manor and steals the Butterfly miraculous, the Agrestes know that they must choose someone to carry on the legacy of the most potent miraculous. Adrien overworks himself as Chat Noir. He gets tired, and injured a lot more than usual during battles with sentimonsters. Unfortunately, he has so much to do as himself as well, so he overworks himself even more to the brink of a burnout.

After the events from the Wish and everything restored, the class goes on a field trip in Italy to learn about Pompeii. What Ladybug and Cat Noir know is that there's a world inside every volcano around the world that leads to the center of the earth.

With Lila back and after the events of the 'Miracle Queen' fiasco, Ladybug and Chat Noir see a strange figure with a strange Miraculous. When Ladybug asked what he was, all they heard was a whisper that said 'Wendigo'.

Chloé Bourgeois absolutely did not panic. She was too exceptional to. It didn't matter if she'd somehow woken up back in a hotel room earlier than her custom Kitty Section Alarm clock should have done so. A whole four and a half years earlier.

The game has changed, Ben has now incurred the wrath of Cosmic Beings that threaten to wipe out what he holds dear and make him suffer for is transgressions and with Adrien no longer there to give him guidance he has to get through this conflict on his own, but with the Wolf Miraculous by his side Ben will never stop fighting for the freedom of every being in the Universe.

Adrien has always accepted what his father says without question... right? Can he even remember a time when he grieved? Or, a whole three chapters of Adrien angst where he finally gets to heal from his mom's death (or disappearance, if you listen to his butthole of a dad). Assuming Emilie is dead because I started this before the season finale. Think what you will. No swearing.

Marinette leaves Paris to live in the woods when she feels stuck, only to find out that her journey is just beginning in ways she never imagined.
