What's going on,what's that sound coming from, only one way to find out..
It was late-night into earky morning and in his dad's house on Knowhere, a male-kit in light blue jammies who couldn't sleep and right now, hewas hearing weird sounds coming from his dad's room grabbing his flashlight deciding to brace the darkness outside like the big, brave kit he imagined.
"It's okay, GJ nobody's gonna hurt you, besides RJ will love having you around, he loves Gaia being his sitter." Rocket's voice said soothingly which RJ could hear, hiding seeing his dad leaving his room deciding to sneak in.
He saw a flowerpot crib where the distressed sounds were coming from, which made him anxiousthis sapling was different ad his crying reminded him of his toddler sibs who were probably awake, now too because of this lil one had started crying seeing big, tearful eyes looking up at him.
"It's okay I'm Rocket Junior or RJ to those that know me, do you have a name." the male-kit said to the sapling.
Rocket was astounded, seeing his son up this late, guessing Groot Junior's crying had women him up and made him curious, ashe noticed how calm RJ was around Groot Junior, seeing him grin hearing the sapling's name which relieved him, guessing Gaia watching him had eased him, into accepting the youbg sapling.
"He was crying aslike your brothers and sisters, he doesn't know how to sleep." Rocket explained.
"Ohhhhh, maybe he just needs a baba or a bottle like you give them." RJ suggested which made his dad smile as he was applying what they did with his sibs.
"Good thinking,let's try." Rocket said asGroot Junior was in RJ's arns like a beanie baby.
"Don't worry, daddy's got this." RJ said soothingly to the sapling, seeing him wrap a teeny tiny finger aroubd RJ's furry one, gently unaware hewas imprinting with him andhis dad just as Rocket walked in with a bottle of milk
"Here buddy, let's feed him." Rocket told him.
RJ was feeding Groot Junior the bottle of milk, calming just like his sibs plus burping him.
"Good job buddy, as you did a good job of helping like with your sibs." Rocket told him, seeing the star rise meaning an new day was beginning seeing RJ yawning as he was tired.
"Lie down buddy, you need your test to grow." Rocket whispered to him, putting him on his giant bed seeing him out like a light making him relieved as the male-kit would be starting at Knowhere Elementary and knew he'd be tired if Groot Junior kept him up with his crying seeing Groot Junior curl up near RJ which he thought adorable, going to tend to the other kits
Later the nest morning, RJ stirred scooping Groot Junior up gently despite the fact the infant-sapling was still sleepibg getting off his dad's big bed heading to the kitchen seeing his dad making hreakfast astounding Rocket, that he was up and that he was awake seeing him putting juice in a teeny-tiny cup like how he had juice every morning which was sweet putting pancakes in front of him noticing the male-kit looked sleepy.
"After breakfast, I think you need more sleep plus Gyah's coming over to watch you, GJ and your sibs." Rocket told him making the male-kit a tad excited as he loved when Gyah sat him making him smile.
"Ssshhhh buddy, your sibs are still sleeping, but we'll work on that buddy." he told him.
"Sorry daddy, I'm trying." RJ replied softly hearing Groot Junior begin to stir, giving him an idea giving him bits of pancakes which the male-sapling was loving which Rocket found sweet, knowing this was a good thing hearing knocking on the front door as he answered seeing Gyah entering, seeing RJ hug her leg Making the female Groot laugh knowing he loved when she came.
"The kits are still sleeping, RJ just had breakfast and I shouldn't be gone too long unless there'sca mission." Rocket infirmed her.
"I am Groot, I am Groot." Gyah replied hugging him before leaving knowing she knew how to handle the kits when he was gone and Nebula was too busy to watch them, seeing RJ showing her Groot Junior making her smile knowing this was easing the male-kit's anxiety making bottles of milk for the baby raccoons when they woke up.
"Yeah, they and Groot Junior were crying a lot last night." he told her helping her clean up.
"I am Groot,." Gyah told him.
"You're welcome." RJ yawned making Gyah understand, guessing he'd been up all night too so carrying him to his room hearing Groot Junior whimpering at this which Gyah understood, coming back comforting him telling him RJ was taking an nap and would come back soon like Rocket after the team-meeting which was easing the infant-sapling into an nap seeing the baby raccoons awake, feeding them making them happy.
"That's good they're happy, as daddy will be happy when he comes back." RJ told her.
"I am Groot." Gyah replied to him, as he was going to his room.
When Rocket returned, he was relieved that things were calmer seeing Gyah on the couch asking how things had went listening to her telling him accepting the units her uncle handed her thanking her.
