"No chat"

Cat noir jumped back. His eyes widened and he started stuttering and babbling.

"n... no?" He asked, not believing what what his ears just heard.

"I'm sorry Chat, but i don't love you the way you do..." she said with sorrow in her voice. Any bystander would've thought that she was truly sorry and she looked truly sorry but Cat noir didn't and couldn't believe it.

His eyes went dark and his face fell. He leaned on the railing of the roof he had prepared. It was perfect, the decorations. He put flowers all over the place. He bought sweets from the Dupain Cheng bakery across the street and had taken a blanket for them to sit on while watching the stars. Any other girl would have said yes, but ladybug wasn't any other girl.

"You know ladybug..." Cat noir began. Ladybug was taken aback when Cat noir didn't use any puns. "I lost someone last year and that made me feel like i could never love someone how i loved this person. You showed me that i was wrong. Then on the other side it showed me that i could never be loved again like the person loved me. You showed me that i was right" Cat noir explained and a tear made its way down his cheek. Cat noir turned his face to not let Ladybug see that he was crying. She saw it and went for a hug. To her disappointment he recoiled and slapped her hands away. She looked him in the eyes and saw the hurt and tears that she caused. Cat noir sniffed once, then took his staff and swung away.

As Adrien flew into his room he immediately de-transformed and fell to his knees. Plagg looked at him as Adrien's eyes filled with tears and then he began crying. He cried so hard and loud, it's a miracle that no one had heard him that night. Plagg flew over to him and tried to soothe him but to no avail. Adrien was heart broken and cried himself into sleep.

The next morning the alarm went off and Adrien threw his clock against the wall, breaking it. He slowly stood up and went into his bathroom. He looked into the mirror and saw how red his eyes where from the crying. He saw himself and saw the shell of his former self. In this night Adrien didn't only lose all interest in love but also in life. The "Sun Prince" as he was called was now nothing more but a walking corps.

On the way to the dining room the house maids greeted him with an "Good morning". To their confusion. Adrien replied "You sure it's a good one?" And walked into the dining room.

The dining room was to no one's surprise empty since his father was doing everything but staying with his son. Adrien ate his eggs and walked to the car where his driver was waiting for him. The door was opened for him and once he entered the door closed. Not much later the Mercedes drove off.

For the first time in the history of Françoise dupont, Marinette wasn't the last one entering the class. She sat down as the door opened. Mrs. Mendeleiev sighed. "Who's distur-" she began but got cut off mid sentence when she saw Adrien's shape entering. Everyone gasped and had a look of horror in their eyes as they saw their class mate entering their class room looking like a walking corps. Mrs. Mendeleiev shook herself out of her stupor and gestured to Adrien to take his seat.

Once sat down he put his face into his hands. "Psst, hey man what the hell happened to you?" Asked Nino in a whisper tone. But no reply from Adrien. Nino then ellbowed Adrien but he only grunted a muffled "Stop it".

The whole class was shocked at their class mate. Normally he would be happy no matter what and his happy face would light up the whole class room but today he was... different. Even mrs. Mendeleiev could see that.

After some screaming and yelling, Chloe again managed to akumatize someone. This time it was an student from another class. Chloe destroyed their project they had to present in front of the class today. The project was one of those foam spitting volcanoes and the akuma gave the victim the power to shoot lava.

Ladybug and Cat noir where already there but something was off. The normal spectator couldn't see it but someone like Alya saw it immediately. The two struggled more than normal and the Akuma wasn't that much stronger than usual.

The akuma threw lava at some people down on the street but Ladybug managed to hold it off while Cat noir fought the Akuma.

Ladybug urged the civilians to go underground or into a building while the threat was still active. When she went up again she saw cat noir completely decimating the Akuma. He fought it like it was a real super villain. Ladybug was full of fear that he might hurt the person under the influence so she tried to step in. The akuma fell to the ground after Cat noir drop-kicked it. Ladybug went to him and demanded an answer.

"Chat what the hell are you doing?! You know that the people behind the akuma are innocent!" She yelled. Cat noir just stared at her with his cold and dead eyes.

"Chat what the hell is wrong with you?" She asked with to much force than necessary and cat noir shrank a little bit into himself and turned away.

"Hey i'm talking with you! Don't you dare ignore me like that" she was fuming now. The akuma was again on the roof but Ladybug had none of it.

"If you so much as touch me i swear to god if i find you hawk moth i'll rip your head of your shoulders and hang it on the Eifeltower"

The akuma stopped in its tracks and Hawk moth, for once thought twice, before doing something stupid. A purple cloud appeared around the akuma and the butterfly went off into the portal. The boy who was akumatized ran off.

"And now to you you useless cat" she said and turned again. Cat noir was about to leave but she grabbed his arm and yanked him back. With an yelp Cat noir hit the roof and Ladybug glared expectedly at him. "Talk" she said with a dangerous no bullshit tone.

"Speak? Everything that had to be said was said. What do you want now?" replied Cat noir.

"Well for once i want to know why the fuck you almost killed that boy?!" She said. He didn't reply.

"Hey if it is because of that night i rejected you then you're being very immature. You should man up and get over me" she said and crossed her hands.

This is where Cat noir snapped. He turned around and made ladybug jump back a bit. "So you really want to know huh? Fine you want to hear it then fucking listen. I'm sorry that I'm heartbroken and that some bitch crushed my heart, stole my last hope of happiness, stole my last chance of being loved or love someone. I'm fucking sorry that i'm so immature and that i'm heartbroken!" Not a second later Ladybug smacked him in the face. The force made him step back and he held his cheek. Her face was flushed but paled immediately as she saw the horrified look on her partners face. She stretched an arm out but Cat noir flinched.

Cat noir walk backwards slowly and jumped of the roof. He swung himself away with his staff.

Ladybug had her arm still outstretched but her eyes where full of tears. She detransformed and went on her knees. Tikki flew in front of her and tried to soothe her. Marinette looked down at her hands which where now red from the slap she gave her Partner and she asked herself with teary eyes "what have i done?"

Good morning, evening, night (i don't really care i just hope it's good) ladies and gents. Like you're seeing here i'm working on an MLB Fanfic again. Now it ain't going to be a oneshot but it ain't going to be super long. I'm planing on about 10 chapters á 1k or 2k words or something like this. But i'm not exactly sure about that.

his/her story was pretty darn good, a shame really cuz it never got finished and the last update was in april 2021.

I still got some hopes that they'll finish the story but i ain't an optimistic one
