Oh, that's great...
I wrote Vipernette!
I wanted to test myself writing other sides of the Lukanette Square.
So enjoy!

Marinette was tired of being bugged!
Felix Graham De Vanily was the local rich guy everyone in Paris was swooning over. But Marinette knew he was a total jerk.
What made this whole situation worse was Felix took an interest in her.
And all of Marinette's friends went crazy over that.
But Marinette knew Felix only had a gross shallow interest in her. Marinette could pinpoint the moment Felix gave her a devious and intrigued look with his peridot eyes. When all Marinette did was insult him for being rude. In a much more sophisticated way than simply telling him to "fuck off!"
It was just great! Felix thought direct insults were a challenge, and Marinette hated that!
But Marinette could finally clear her mind in her bedroom, only for her father to make an excited announcement when she returned home.
Tom was overjoyed that Felix sent Marinette a beautiful harp as a romantic gift, but Marinette gave him a deadpan expression and merely said she didn't care. Her father didn't seem to understand her plight though, because he mentioned it was so beautiful that he placed it on her balcony.
Marinette couldn't contain her anger anymore as she yelled and ran to her room to be alone. She told her father she wasn't interested in the rich jerk, and her father could only utter her name as she slammed the door.
Nobody understood how she felt, and she was about to lose her mind. She wondered if her feelings were too complicated for anyone. She was either too dramatic, not serious enough or not happy enough, even if she had no reason to be happy! But now everything was too complicated, and she needed radio silence in her room.
But instead, a big harp was sitting on her balcony, which looked surprisingly beautiful. The material shined in the rays of sunlight, and it looked like the strings were made of silver. She couldn't help but touch it, but then she noticed the card attached by a string. Marinette pulled it off, and then her gaze darkened by the contents inside.
"For my songbird," the note said.
Marinette growled, ripped the note into pieces, and allowed the scraps to fly away in the wind.
"I am no one's songbird!" Marinette cried.
And then Marinette placed her hands on the strings.
"The song inside of me is an angry one!"
Marinette played the harp roughly. Somehow she managed to make the most angelic instrument in the world sound obnoxious, and that was what she was aiming for. The citizens of Paris and her parents probably heard her, but she didn't care. She was going to be heard! Her feelings were going to be known even through music.
And yet even though the sound of rough harp playing rattled in her ears, she liked the feeling of the harp strings brushing against her fingers.
It was so beautiful, and she felt Felix did give her a thoughtful gift. But there were lovely gifts, and the intent behind those lovely gifts.
After so much angry harp playing, she sighed and stopped as the only sound she could hear now was a few gusts of wind playing her harp for her.
After a moment to clear her mind, Marinette breathed in and played a gentle tune on the harp, another song inside her that she wanted to get out. She hung her head and continued to play until she got everything out.
But she didn't expect to hear a second bunch of strings playing with her.
Marinette turned and saw a familiar snake superhero standing on the roof, holding a harp. He immediately looked guilty for startling her.
"Sorry!" He cried.
Marinette took a moment to shake her head and blink her eyes. A handsome superhero was standing on her roof and watching her.
"You're Viperion!" She cried.
The hero sat down and gave a warm look that comforted Marinette.
"Yes, and I'm sorry for watching you," he said.
Marinette smiled, not feeling offended by his presence.
"It's just the melody you were playing was so beautiful that I had to stop and listen," he said.
Marinette felt words tangled on her tongue as she felt flustered by his kind words.
"Oh no!" She cried as she tried to keep herself steady after shaking so much. "I don't play music!" She sighed as she sat back down. "This is my first time playing."
Viperion swiftly jumped off the roof and safely landed on his feet. As he stood up, Marinette noticed how tall he was, compared to her. His beautiful green eyes sparkled like jewels, and he gave her such a friendly smile.
"And it was beautiful," he said.
Now Marinette couldn't help but blush bright pink. She covered her face and smiled.
"Oh!" Marinette cried. "You are so sweet!"
When Marinette removed her face from her hands, she noticed that he had his harp out again. He played a gentle tune that made Marinette's heartstrings stir. He smiled at her as he finished playing, and Marinette grinned in return.
"I felt inspired to play because of you," He said.
"Oh!" Marinette couldn't speak as she placed her hand over her heart and felt her heart thump like never before.
Viperion took a closer look at Marinette's harp. "Your harp is beautiful as well," he noted.
Even if Viperion was super fascinating as he looked through the harp Marinette held herself and frowned.
"A rich jerk gave me that harp because he thinks I like him. He wants me to be his songbird!"
Viperion placed his hand over his lips as he took a moment to chuckle.
"Well, you cannot lock a bird in a cage and force them to sing. It just doesn't work like that," Viperion said.
He glided his gentle fingers over the silver strings and played a melody that was music to Marinette's ears. She felt like she was floating because Viperion's musical skill was unmatched, and he looked so beautiful.
Viperion gave her a pleased smile as he continued to play. Marinette closed her eyes and imagined herself floating in the clouds. And she saw all the citizens of Paris below her. She was free, and there were no limits for her.
Marinette was so moved by Viperion's music that eventually, her fingers found their way back to the strings, and she played along with him. The two of them were in sync as this melody became a harmony, and it felt like the entire world stopped as they played music together. Their fingers occasionally brushed, and Marinette felt butterflies from being so close to a superhero. They played some satisfying finale chords, and after a moment of silence, when Marinette opened her eyes, she noticed how close Viperion's face was to hers.
Marinette blushed and covered her face as both of them took a step back.
Viperion smiled and placed his hand on the harp.
"If you want, I can take this harp off your hands for you," he said.
Marinette smiled. "I would like that. You would find more use for it than me."
Viperion smiled at her again. "Thank you for your generosity, Miss!"
"Marinette," she corrected. "It's Marinette."
"Alright, Marinette," he said with such sweetness that Marinette felt another dorky blushy smile coming on.
Before Marinette knew it, Viperion lifted the big harp, and it glowed with white light until it disappeared.
"Wow!" Marinette said breathlessly.
Not only was he a very charming hero, but he certainly knew how to make all her worries disappear in a beautiful light.
"That was amazing! Thank you!" Marinette cried.
After such a moment, Marinette felt the song of her heart shift, but she couldn't describe it.
Viperion took a moment to bow. "I am always at your service Marinette."
Marinette blushed as she looked away.
"Actually, can I give you something in return?"
"Hmm?" Marinette was at least happy he asked first. "Sure, but what is it?"
With more magical energy from his hands, Viperion manifested a small harp similar to his, only magenta pink.
"Oh, it's beautiful!" Marinette cried as Viperion presented the instrument to her, and she happily took it.
The two of them sat down together as Marinette observed the beautiful harp. As Viperion watched her, he summoned his own harp.
"I think you should continue playing," Viperion said.
Marinette blinked and looked him in the eye as he smiled at her.
"Even if others want to control and define you, I know you're stronger than that."
Marinette's eyes glimmered as she looked at the mysterious and kind boy. He played a few strings, and Marinette gently tested the strings on her harp.
"Keep on expressing the melody of your heart. Don't ever let it fade away," he said.
Marinette smiled and brought her new harp to her heart as she smiled at him. "I won't!"
Marinette didn't want a conclusion to this meeting. But then Viperion's bracelet beeped, and he told her he needed to go. And since Marinette knew Viperion was one of the heroes that kept Paris stable, she knew she had to let him go.
But she hoped with all her heart she would meet him again. Since she felt their meeting unlocked something. The melody of her heart as he described.
And that night, Marinette had a peaceful evening with radio silence and clarity. She drew a picture of Viperion in her best comic book style, highlighting his teal green scales and beautiful eyes. At a distance, she saw the moon shining through her harp, which she sat by her window.
She hoped more practice and charging her harp in the moonlight would help.
The next day Marinette walked the streets of Paris with her harp in her hand. She kept playing as she took in the sights of the beautiful day, and the children enjoyed her music and praised her, even if Marinette felt she didn't deserve it. It was nice making everyone else's day, to the fill the world with the music from her heart. And to be free to play music wherever.
She certainly felt inspired to play music by the Seine.
Marinette glided her fingers through her strings again. And she felt the breeze go through her hair and lightly brush her strings.
She then played more chords in return and noticed a pirate boat sailing across the Seine. Marinette thought it was bizarre.
"Hey there!"
Marinette jumped a bit as she saw a few kids around her age riding the boat. A boy with blue hair who carried a guitar waved at her.
"That's some great music you're playing!" He cried.
Marinette couldn't help but move closer as she kept her harp close, and the pirate ship made its stop by the docks. The boy with blue hair met up with her.
And Marinette had to admit. He was adorable. Not only did he have blue hair, but he had beautiful blue eyes.
"That harp of yours is beautiful," he said. Then he played a few chords on his guitar, and Marinette was amazed at the gentle music he played. She guessed that he had far more experience with music than she had.
"Can I accompany your harp with my guitar someday?"
Marinette smirked as she held her harp close to her heart. But a woman with a pirate hat interrupted them.
"Aye, son! It's a bit too early for you to ask for a new bandmate, don't ya think?"
Despite the woman poking fun at the boy, he still gave Marinette such a warm smile, and she couldn't help but blush in return. He had friends around her age who all smiled in approval.
"Would you like to hang out with us?" The boy asked.
Marinette nodded excitedly. "I would love to!"
The captain of the ship almost immediately came up with a gangplank. "Well, in that case," She promptly placed the gangplank between Marinette and the blue-haired boy. "Welcome aboard dearie! It's nice to meet ya!"
As Marinette took the first two steps on the gangplank, she felt herself shake a bit, and the boy with the blue hair held out his hand. Marinette swallowed and took his hand, and she felt so relieved as he safely took her aboard.
She felt so inspired being around some fellow musicians, even if she was new to the world of music.
The boy with the guitar, who introduced himself as Luka, was incredibly inspiring. He played the most beautiful music on his guitar, and it felt so right sitting beside him. He was passionate about music and knew how to play his heart on the strings.
It reminded her so much of the superhero with the harp.
How lovely!
I remember when one of my friends told me never to let the melody of my heart fade away...So I won't.
Part two? I'm not sure, I am not good at longer stories.
Besides, the next stop is Christmas Town!
Ok, maybe I will come back to this later...I like the idea of giving Marinette a harp!
But for now, I will see all of you later.
