It was evening at the house of the Heelers, specifically the house of Stripe Heeler and Trixie Heeler. It was a few weeks after Bandit told Bluey and Bingo the story about how he was jinxed after being mean to stripe during their holiday at the beach in the 80s and Bluey wanted to recreate that story with bingo, and their cousins, muffin and socks. After weeks of practice, setting up their toys and playthings to recreate the scenery and with help from their parents' knowledge of 80s, they were ready to put on the show for their family. Bandit, chilli, stripe, Trixie, and nana all watched as the kids reenacted the story of how bandit was jinxed.

Bluey was playing Bandit and was also the narrator wearing bandit's old hat he used to wear. muffin was Stripe wearing the old sweatband her father used to wear, Bingo played as Uncle Radley wearing a wig to match his hair. She also had a She-ra costume she was going to wear later to reprise her role as chilli from the Mother's Day show. And socks was playing nana wearing a big perm wig. The show was at the part where bandit (played by bluey) and stripe (played by muffin) were playing an arcade game which was made up of a piece of cardboard with a drawing of two dog people in karate uniforms on it while using socks light up color buttons toy as the controllers. Bingo and muffin both freeze as bluey became the narrator of the story.

Bluey: The only thing that could break the curse is if someone said your name.

Bluey became bandit again as the story went on.

Muffin: Do you want me to say your name?

Bluey: *nods eagerly*

Muffin: Ok bandit.

The mums, dads, and grandmother laughed at muffin's ignorance of the actual name stripe called bandit in that moment, but bluey was annoyed at her since they practiced several times.

Bluey: *annoyed* Muffin, you're supposed to say Bandidums!

Muffin: But uncle bandit's name is bandit.

Bluey: But that's not what uncle stripe said to him.

Stripe: It's true muffy, just go ahead and say it. It'll be alright.

Muffin: *Confused* Ok bandidums?

Muffin was confused on why she needed to say that, even though she had been told several times by her sister, cousins, parents, aunt, uncle, and grandmother stripe never said bandits name throughout the story. She wondered why he didn't. Regardless she carried on with her part of the show and helped with the next scene while the adults were talking a bit.

Bandit: You know stripe, bluey called me the exact same thing when we were playing kids one time.

Stripe: *Chuckles a bit* Like Uncle, like ness, I guess.

Bandit shook his head in annoyance but couldn't help but smile while doing it thinking it was actually funny. The next scene was ready to go which was a combination of the fish and chips shop and the beach house with palm trees drawn on each side and a blue blanket to represent the ocean. Once again, everyone freezed as bluey narrated again.

Bluey: For Bandit, being cursed was not a lot of fun when you're on holiday.

Bluey once again changes back to bandit.

Socks: Kids, you want fish battewed or Crwumbed?

Bingo: Battered.

Muffin: Battered.

Socks: What about you? c'mon speak up?

Bingo: *giggles* He wants Crumbed.

Socks: ok.

Muffin: He loves Crumbed. Don't you bandit?

The adults laughed again, and bluey was annoyed again.

Bluey: Muffin!

Muffin: His name is Bandit!

Stripe then walked over to muffin to whisper what he actually said that day.

Stripe: *Whispers* Muffin, I said Bandishwasher.

Muffin looked confused again as her dad walked back to the couch but went along with it anyway.

Muffin: Ok, don't you Bandishwasher?

Bluey once again became the narrator of the story.

Bluey: Bandit hated Crumbed.

Chilli wondered why that was so.

Chilli: Bandit, why is it that you hate Crumbed fish so much?

After being asked that, Bandit remembered why he hated Crumbed fish and let's just say it's not because it tasted bad, but he didn't want his family to find out the real reason.

Bandit: It's a long story.

Socks: Who ate all mini cereals?!

Bingo and muffin: *Both point at bluey* He did!

Socks: *pulls out a slipper* wight you, get over here!

Socks began chasing Bluey around with a very soft slipper as the adults, including bandit laughed at the scene. Everyone but Nana, who was shocked at the scene. She looked over at bandit with a worried look.

Nana: Oh, my goodness! Was I really that mean to you back then?

Bandit: Well yeah, but it was the 80s, you were allowed to be mean.

Despite Bandit brushing it off like it was nothing, Nana felt ashamed of herself for what she did. She could have just lectured bandit for eating all the mini cereals, maybe given him a time out but she chose a harsher method that would be frowned upon today. She felt guilty and decided the best thing to do was apologize.

Nana: Well, if I really did anything like that to you, stripe, or Radley, I'm sorry to all of you for my behavior.

Bandit: Aw, don't sweat it mum. It's not like you knew it was wrong at the time.

Stripe: He's right, it was a different time. We can't be mad at you for how you were raised back then.

Nana felt a little better after hearing her two son's forgiveness and hoped Radley would do the same when she saw him again. Bluey carried on with the show.

Bluey: Bandit was never going to talk again. No one was going to say his name.

Bluey put the hat back on to be bandit again as socks walked up.

Socks: I'm not going to say your name. You've been mean to stwipe. You have a good think about it.

Bluey once again took off the hat to be the narrator again.

Bluey: Nana was right, not about her perm but about bandit. He hadn't been a very good brother to stripe. He deserved to be cursed.

Bandit was silently crying a bit at that scene doing his best to hold back his tears at that part of the memory. Chilli and Nana comfort him, letting him know it was ok and it was all in the past. Stripe noticed his brother crying a bit as well and couldn't help but feel a tiny bit guilty since he knew how it was going to end from his side of the story. And the story that came after involving himself. Bluey and the others then began setting up the scene where the curse would be broken. Bingo rushed to the back to put on the She-ra costume for the role of chilli. Soon the set was ready, and the scene began.

Bluey: The very next morning, Bandit was on his way to the shower block to clean his teeth.

Bluey then put the hat back on to represent bandit again, holding a toothbrush as well pretending to walk along to the shower block. Muffin threw a green furry blanket to represent prickle grass and proceeded to stand on it pretending it hurt.

Muffin: MOM! OW! HELP!

Muffin freezed as bluey became the narrator again.

Bluey: Stripe had taken a shortcut to the toilets and got stuck in the prickles. Bandit could have said he wouldn't help him unless he said his name. But instead-

Muffin unfreezes as bluey grabs the hat again and throws it near muffin allowing her to hop on it to safety like in the story.

Muffin: Thanks bandit.

Bluey: MUFFIN!

Muffin: WHAT NOW?!

Everyone was expecting stripe to correct her, given he was the one who said bandina but stripe was too deep in thought to notice so bandit spoke up.

Bandit: Uhh muffin, that's not what your father said to me. He said Bandina.

Muffin was really annoyed at this point. She just wanted to scream, despite the consequences.

Muffin: But your name is–AHHHHHHHH! FINE! BANDINA! THERE, IS EVERYBODY HAPPY NOW?!

Muffin then threw the sweatband down and marched herself to a corner grumbling in annoyance. She sat down and crossed her arms in frustration. There was an awkward silence for a moment till trixie spoke up.

Trixie: Yeah, Muffin has been walking herself to the corner lately every time she acts up after the whole tablet hogging incident.

Chilli: Huh, has it improved her behavior?

Trixie: Honestly yes, I don't know why but if it works, it works, I guess.

Trixie wasn't truly sure of that in all honesty, but muffin has been slowly improving herself since she accidentally dropped Stripe's Phone in the pool. Regardless of what just happened, Bluey continued on with the show and became the narrator again.

Bluey: Despite the fact stripe didn't help bandit, He was proud of him.

Bandit smiled at the scene, still proud of stripe. Stripe himself on other hand still felt guilty for not unjinxing bandit at that moment, and even more guilty about what he did to him after bandit was unjinxed. Bluey continued narrating the story.

Bluey: Now I know what you all are thinking, if stripe didn't unjinx bandit, who did? The answer may surprise you.

Bingo: Bandit Heeler, is this your hat?

Bingo was wearing the She-ra costume to represent chilli as she handed bluey, once again playing bandit, the hat. Despite everyone thinking that it was a really sweet moment, Chilli still had doubts it was her.

Chilli: I still don't think it was me. I'll admit I was a big fan of She-ra and I did have a costume when I was younger, but I still don't have any memory of that day.

Bandit: Well, maybe it's because It was a big deal to me since I was cursed for a while and had just learned a lesson allowing it to be more memorable when it could have been just a random moment for you.

Chilli: I guess that is possible.

Bluey: And so, the curse was broken, and bandit had learned an important lesson about being a good brother that has stood with him to this very day. The End.

When muffin heard bluey said it was the end, and everyone was clapping and cheering, she didn't understand. It couldn't be the end, there was still so much to tell. Did Stripe and Radley ever figure out if bandit was unjinxed? Did bandit tell them he was unjinxed and if so, did they believe him? Muffin knew about being jinxed from some of her favorite cartoons such as one about two best friends who didn't like their job at the park. The episode where she first learned about being jinxed was when the two found a quarter and one of the friends jinxed the other after they said the object in question at the same time. The consequences of that jinx were that you got punched in the shoulder. Then there was the movie based on another cartoon where two evil scientists cursed their archenemy at the same time with one scientist jinxing the other and saying he owed him a soda. So, what happened after the story? She then heard bluey calling up her, bingo, and socks to all take bows. Muffin decided to wait a little bit before thinking any further and joined her sister and cousins for curtain call.

Once everything was cleaned up and it began to get late, it was about time for everyone to head home. Nana had already left to head home, and bandit and his family were about ready to go home as well. As they headed out the door, Bandit decided to talk to stripe a bit. Both have memories of that holiday.

Bandit: You doing alright stripe? You were pretty quiet near the end of the show.

Stripe: Oh uhh, yeah, I guess I feel kind of bad for not unjinxing you when you helped me out.

Bandit: Well, I probably deserve it for how I treated you during holiday. I'm really sorry mate.

Stripe: It's alright mate. You keep apologizing everytime we bring that holiday up. But it didn't give me any right for how I treated you afterwards when you tried to make up for what you did, and I do regret it. I'm sorry.

Bandit: In fairness, if it wasn't for me, none of that would have happened in the first place.

Stripe: Don't be so hard on yourself. Maybe it was because of that jerk Bucky Dunstan you ended up that way for a bit. Pfft, Real estate agent. What dog in their right mind would let him have that job?

Bandit: C'mon Stripe, he's probably changed his ways for a long time by now. Tell you what, if I ever find out where he really is, I'll let you know and we'll go see him together and talk to him, Ok?

Stripe: Ok I guess so.

The two brothers then hugged each other, each one forgiving the other for what happened during that holiday letting the other know they still loved each other despite what happened. After a few moments, they both pulled away as bandit headed out the door so he and his family could drive home. Stripe then remembered something and called out to bandit.

Stripe: Hey, we're still up for cricket in a couple of weeks with pat, right?

Bandit: Sure are, but don't be surprised if I end up winning!

Stripe: hah, nice try, you may have the advantage at squash, even though I beated you that one time, but cricket is where I shine!

Bandit: We'll see!

The two both laughed together knowing it was all in good fun and then waved each other goodbye. After he saw bandit and his family drive off, Stripe went back inside to get his kids ready for bed.

Stripe: Alright kids, time to get ready for bed.

Socks: Ok dad.

Muffin was still too deep in thought when stripe called out. Trixie noticed and tried to get her attention.

Trixie: Muffin?….Muffin?….Muffin!

Muffin: huh?

Trixie: Let's not go through this again muffin, when your father says get ready for bed, it means you need to do just that.

Muffin: oh right, uhh ok mom.

Muffin then went upstairs to get ready for bed still wondering whether her father and uncle radley believed bandit when he was unjinxed. Trixie was confused by this calm behavior muffin was displaying as it usually would take tricking muffin into going to bed with her wanting to stay up when she wasn't supposed to. Trixie decided to not pay much attention to it because whatever it was, at least muffin was getting ready for bed and both her and stripe didn't need to deal with muffins shanagins for tonight.

Stripe helped muffin and socks get ready for bed doing the usual things one would normally do when getting ready to go to sleep. He noticed throughout all of it, muffin never tried coming up with an excuse to stay up late. Not that it would have worked, but he was still curious about why his daughter was being so quiet.

Stripe: Muffin? Is everything ok?

Muffin: huh, oh sorry dad, I've just been thinking.

Stripe: Well, what's on your mind?

Muffin: Well, it involves the ending to uncle bandit's fairytale. If aunt chilli was the one who broke the curse, did he ever tell you and uncle radley? I'm wondering this since when you talk when you're jinxed, you either get punched in the arm or you owe someone a soda. So, did you believe him?

Stripe thought about this and realized muffin did have a right to think that since that's how jinx is normally played but he and his brothers had a different way of playing jinx to make it more dramatic. But given muffin only knew the basics of jinx and bandits ' story ended with chilli breaking the jinx, it was only fair that muffin had many questions about the aftermath, surprisingly not whether it was chilli or not since she kept denying it. Stripe then decided it was only fair since bandit told his fairytale to his kids, he would tell his fairytale to his, and figures he may feel better by talking about since he still felt a little guilty about how treated bandit in the aftermath of the jinx.

Stripe: Well, the best way I can really describe it is if I tell you what happened after he was unjinxed. Whereas bandits' fairytale was about him being mean and being cursed for it, my fairytale involves me dealing with a feeling more horrible than any curse could give.

Muffin and socks sat on the bedside as stripe began to tell them his fairytale. The scene then transitions to the beach house stripe and his family we're staying at during the 80s. While their mom was sitting on the porch, Stripe and radley were playing with some transformers. Radley was the decepticons such as soundwave, rumble, laser beak, ravage, frenzy, and shockwave, while stripe was the autobots such as wheeljack, mirage, sunstreaker, sideswipe, and bumblebee. in the present time, stripe began narrated the events of the story.

Adult Stripe: It all started after I refused to call bandit his real name and was back to the beach house. Me and your uncle Radley were playing transformers.

Muffin then stopped stripe to ask a question since he mentioned transformers. Muffin couldn't believe it. She had no idea transformers existed when her father was a kid.

Muffin: wait, wait, wait. The 80s had transformers?!

Stripe chuckled a bit at that question seeing as muffin and socks had no idea.

Adult Stripe: Hah, the 80s had transformers, more like the 80s invented transformers!

Muffin and socks: Wow

Adult Stripe: I loved collecting transformers when I was young. I would have to do so many complicated chores just to get as many of them as I could. One of the Transformers I wanted but never got was Megatron, leader of the deceptions. Not because I didn't have enough money, but because your grandparents wouldn't allow it.

Socks: Why not, Dad?

Stripe didn't want to ruin muffin and socks innocence since as an adult, he very much understood why his parents never got him the megatron figure but it was something his kids were too young to learn about, so he chose his words carefully when explaining to muffin and socks.

Adult Stripe: Uhhh, let's just say he transformed into something kids were not allowed to have back in the day, and especially not now.

Muffin: Was it bad?

Adult Stripe: Very bad.

Muffin and socks: Ohhhh.

The scene then cuts back to the flashback where radley and Stripe were playing with transformers.

Adult Stripe: Anyway, Me and radley were playing with transformers when bandit came back. We were planning on messing with him some more, still believing he was jinxed. Until he spoke that is.

Young Bandit: Hey guys! Guess what, the jinx is broken!

Stripe and Radley stared at him for a few seconds until they started panicking.

Young Stripe: Ahhh! Dude are you insane?!

Young Radley: You know the consequences of talking when your jinx!

Young Bandit: Calm down guys, I really am unjinxed. You gotta–

Young Radley: Oh no! It's about to happen!

Young Stripe: TAKE COVER!

Stripe and Radley ducked down preparing for the worst that they thought Bandit was about to experience for talking while he was jinxed, even though he was unjinxed already. Nana shook her head, smiling, seeing the humor in their game. A few moments passed before bandit spoke again.

Young Bandit: Guys, I really am unjinxed, look at me! I'm still here.

Stripe and Radley looked up from their position and saw that bandit was ok and nothing happened to him.

Young Radley: Wow. I guess you are unjinxed.

The scene then cuts to the present where muffin asked her father a question.

Muffin: Ok, so if it's not getting punched in the arm, or owing someone a soda, what does happen when you talk when you're jinxed.

Adult Stripe: Simple, when you talk when your jinxed, you—-

Stripe then whispered what happens if you talk when you're jinxed in muffin and socks ear. The two were shocked at what their father had said. It was even worse than the other two.

Muffin and socks: *Gasps*

Socks: That's terrible!

Adult Stripe: Like bandit said, the 80s was a wild place.

Stripe then continued on with the story as we cut back to the 80s setting.

Adult Stripe: Anyway, when the consequences of talking when your jinxed didn't happen, that's when we realized bandit was telling the truth. Needless to say, I was disappointed. Not because the consequences didn't happen to him, but because he was able to speak in general.

Young Bandit: Hey Stripe, listen, I just wanna say I'm sorry for being mean to you this holiday. I don't know what got into me being mean and making fun of you, but after thinking about it, I realize it was wrong of me, and I do regret it. But I wanna let you know starting now, I'm gonna do everything I can to make up for what I've done, and I'll make sure the rest of this holiday is the best you've ever had.

Stripe looked at bandit with a crossed face clearly not believing what bandit told him. He was still mad at him for how he treated him.

Young Stripe: *Stern and bothered tone* Sure, that'll be the day.

Nana was disappointed in Stripe's response and tone. She understood that bandit was being very mean to him, but Seeing Stripe say something like that after bandit apologized to him and planned to make the rest of the holiday amazing for him was just uncalled for. And if bandit truly meant his apology, the least they could do was give him a chance to prove it.

Nana: Stripe, I don't want any of you being mean to each other. I understand your frustration with bandit, but let's at least let him prove himself before we jump to conclusions. And that goes for you too radley.

Radley had an unsure look on his face about the whole situation. He saw how bandit had been treating stripe, but on the other hand, his mother had a point, and bandit's apology honestly did feel genuine. After a bit of thinking, He decided to agree with his mother.

Young Radley: *Sighs* Ok mum, I'll give him a chance.

Nana smiled at the agreement, but bandit could tell Radley was a bit reluctant and stripe looked like he outright hated him. He honestly couldn't blame either of them after the way he was behaving. He knew he was gonna need to work hard in order to gain back trust with them, especially stripe. He took a deep breath and turned to his mom with confidence.

Young Bandit: Don't worry mum, I'm gonna be a good brother to them from now on.

Nana: I hope so Bandit. But may I ask who unjinxed you?

Young Bandit: Oh, it was a girl. She read my name on my hat and gave it back to me.

Nana: Ohhh, was she pretty?

Young Bandit: Mom, I already feel bad about what I did to stripe, I don't need to be embarrassed too.

Nana: Ok, I'm sorry. I'll leave you to it.

As Nana walked back inside the house, Bandit turned to see his brothers. Radley was chuckling a bit seeing Bandit was embarrassed by that question, but saw stripe was looking away from him, arms crossed clearly still mad at him.

Adult Stripe: Despite bandit's apology, I was still very mad at him because I believed it was all a trick for him to start teasing me again. And a few times during his attempts to make up for what he did, I thought I was about to be proven right.

The scene then shows bandit and stripe riding their bikes and attempting to do skids. Bandit once again did a good skid while Stripe did his best on his.

Young Bandit: You can't skid-Uhhhhh, like that Stripe. There's a proper way to do it.

Stripe clearly knew bandit was about to tease him and assumed he corrected himself to avoid being jinxed again.

Young Stripe: *visibly annoyed* Sure, that's what you were actually saying.

Young Bandit: I can teach you how if you want.

Young Stripe: *angrily turns* No thanks, I can teach myself.

Stripe then got on his bike and rode off. Bandit didn't mean for it to come off as teasing, part of him just couldn't resist. Bandit decided to let stripe be for now and try again later. A few hours later, Bandit was playing on one of the arcade machines when Stripe came up to him.

Young Stripe: Bandit, It's my turn now.

Young Bandit: No, it-uhhh, oh your right, my mistake. Go ahead.

Bandit moved aside to allow Stripe to play the game. Stripe glared at him believing he was about to tease him again only for bandit to correct himself before doing so.

Adult Stripe: I could tell part of bandit really wanted to tease me, but I didn't know at the time because of my anger against him. He truly was making a genuine attempt to be a good brother to me.

We see a montage of bandit helping Stripe out with various things only to get the cold shoulder from him. There were some moments in the beginning where it looked like bandit was gonna tease stripe all over again, but he immediately backed off from it to be nice to him.

Adult Stripe: Despite my anger at him at the time, there was one moment that shines above every good deed he did for me during holiday. I was at the toy store to buy the transformer I wanted more than any other, Optimus Prime, Leader of the autobots. I thought I had enough money to buy him, but unfortunately-

Store Clerk: Sorry kid, Optimus prime costs $40.00 here. You only have $36.51.

Stripe was sad he didn't have enough money to get the Optimus prime figure. He was about to walk away till bandit came in.

Young Bandit: WAIT! I got $5.00 Stripe. You can have it.

Stripe was hesitant to take the $5.00 from bandit, but he didn't want to miss out on getting Optimus prime, so he took the money and paid for the figure. He did have a question for bandit though.

Young Stripe: So whatever happened to your interest in gobots?

Young Bandit: Oh, well, you and radley were right. Gobots are pretty lame. Transformers are really where it's at.

The scene cut back to adult Stripe, muffin and socks as muffin asked another question.

Muffin: Uh, Dad? What are Gobots?

Adult Stripe: Well, they're like transformers but smaller and not as popular as them. Bandit was obsessed with them for a while, but I guess when he got me prime, he realized transformers are better.

Muffin and socks: Ohhhhhh.

Socks: Did you forgive uncle bandit after that?

Adult Stripe: No, not at that moment, but I did the evening before the last day of holiday. I was in my room watching the Transformers cartoon show while Bandit, radley, and Nana were talking outside. I don't know exactly what went on during that conversation, but from what each of them told me, this is what most likely happened.

Outside of the beachhouse, Radley and Nana were on the porch enjoying the sunset when bandit came back from a bike ride to gather his thoughts. Radley has seen how much bandit has improved the past few days and decided to talk to him about it.

Young Radley: You know bandit, I see you really have changed the past couple of days. Admittedly, it's not perfect, but it's a big step in the right direction.

Young Bandit: Thanks Radley. I've been doing my best.

Bandit then looked in the window to stripe's room. He was still hoping that his brother would come around, but his hope was dwindling. He was worried his teasing and meanness had permanently driven a wedge in their relationship forever.

Young Bandit: Hey Radley, you don't think Stripe still hates me for what I did to him, do you?

Young Radley: Well, I'm sure if you keep up with what you're doing now, I'm sure he'll get over it.

Young Bandit: I'm just worried he must hate me for what I've been doing to him before I was jinxed.

Nana walked up to bandit so she could talk to him.

Nana: Radley's right bandit. You have improved yourself. Just give Stripe some time and he'll come around.

Bandit thought about it for a moment, and he decided maybe he should apologize again to see if that improves anything. He had doubts it would but at least he could give it a shot.

Young Bandit: Mum, I think I should apologize to stripe again.

Nana: If you feel the need to apologize again, then you should. I'm sure deep down, He really appreciates all the nice things you've been doing for him lately to make up for your mistakes.

With encouragement from his mother, bandit walked into the house and walked towards Stripe's room, determined to make things right. Stripe was still watching the Transformers cartoon, Specifically the episode more than meets the eye part 2. It was at the part where Optimus prime and the autobots stormed the power plant which the Decepticons had taken control over. Bandit knocked on the side of the door.

Young Bandit: Hey buddy!

Young Stripe: You come back to call me a dirty chook again or just trick me into looking at nothing?

Young Bandit: No, none of that, I just wanted to talk to you again.

Bandit looked at the TV a bit to see what Stripe was saw Optimus battle Megatron atop of Sherman dam.

Optimus Prime: You destroy everything you touch megatron *Ignites energon axe*

Megatron: Because everything I touch is food for my hunger, My hunger for power! *Ignites energon mace*

Bandit had heard Stripe talk about Optimus Prime a lot in the past, even saying that he was his hero. So, he thought maybe talking positively about him could help ease a bit of tension between them.

Young Bandit: So, Optimus Prime. Pretty cool guy. Dare I say, Better than Leader-1.

Young Stripe: Yeah, how's its fair Leader-1 gets to live in his film, but Optimus dies in his?

Bandit felt awkward after that comment. Not just because the gobots film was so terrible that made him abandon the franchise all together, but he had no idea Optimus died in the Transformers movie. But it would explain why Stripe was quiet for a few weeks after he went to go see the film. Bandit then decided to apologize now and hope for the best before things get worse.

Young Bandit: Look Stripe, I'm just gonna say what I came here to say. What I did to you was wrong. I was being a big jerk to you all holiday and I shouldn't have been that way, and I shouldn't have said all those mean things to you. I have no excuse. I'm sorry.

Young Stripe: Ok, I don't forgive you.

Bandit was hurt deep down that his brother didn't forgive him, but he didn't wanna show it fearing Stripe would accuse him of being selfish. He decided at the very least, he could make him see he was sorry.

Young Bandit: Well, I really am sorry.

Young Stripe: Yeah, and I do not forgive you.

Nana had just walked back into the house getting ready to prepare dinner when she overheard bandit and stripe talking. She decided to check up on them to see if they made up. But it was far from it.

Young Bandit: Look, I understand your mad at me, but I just want you know I really mean it when—

Young Stripe: I don't care. I'm not gonna give you closure. You don't get that. You have to live with what you did for the rest of your life. You have to know that it's never, ever going to be ok.

Young Bandit: Stripe, listen-

Young Stripe: No, you listen! I'm not going to be your prop so you can feel better.

Young Bandit: Look, I get it. My actions were my own, and I don't have an excuse for what I did.

Young Stripe: I DON'T CARE IF THERE'S AN EXCUSE OR NOT! What I cared about was you being there for me like radley is. But all you've been doing is teasing me since the holiday started, and until that part of you is 100% gone, I will never forgive you for it. Now get out of my room!

Nana: STRIPE HEELER!

Nana was very disappointed in stripes behavior, sure bandit was being very mean to him, but it didn't justify stripes attitude towards him, especially after he was jinxed and once, he was unjinxed spend the rest of the holiday trying to be a better brother to him. Nana was about to scold him before bandit stepped in front of him to defend him.

Young Bandit: Mum, wait! He's right. I don't deserve forgiveness. I don't even deserve to be his brother.

Bandit then left stripes room and went out on the porch ashamed of himself for what he did. Nana could see the hurt in bandits' eyes being denied forgiveness from his brother, even after his good deeds he's been doing for him to make up for the teasing and being mean. She then turned to stripe glaring at him. But stripe spoke up.

Young Stripe: Mum, you know bandits been being mean to me all holiday.

Nana sighed, still disappointed but calm enough to have a level head.

Nana: I know he has, but I think through you and radleys game of jinx, he realized what he's been doing, and ever since he was unjinxed by that girl, he's been trying hard to change his ways and be a better brother to you. He even got you that red truck robot thing you always wanted. Don't you think it's such a nice gesture?

Young Stripe: Well, I'll admit, if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have that Optimus Prime figure. And I guess I didn't mean it when I said I wouldn't forgive him. I just want him to stop teasing me all together.

Nana: I hear you, but the thing is it might take a while for bandit to grow out of it, and maybe that part of him will always be there. Tell me stripe, Can you say you learned a lesson and completely change who you are overnight?

Stripe remained silent, realizing Nana was right.

Nana: I thought not. Change takes time Stripe, and sometimes people won't fully grow out of their flaws, but we can learn to control them as best as we can. Sometimes those flaws we have will come out whether by choice or not, but as long as we are willing to improve ourselves and the good outweighs the bad, we need to learn to live with other people's flaws and our own. I'm not gonna force you to forgive bandit or apologize to him. But I want you to have a good think about what you should really do.

Nana left the room to prepare dinner leaving stripe alone to think.

Adult Stripe: I thought about what nana said. Bandit has been doing some nice things lately for me. And admittedly I knew I had flaws I'm still trying to work on, so why was Bandt any different? I then looked at the cartoon again and what I saw next helped me realize what I was doing.

In the Transformers cartoon, the autobots were discussing what to do next after the Decepticons escaped the power plant.

Mirage: Maybe we should repair our ship and go back to cybertron. Forget about the Decepticons.

Optimus: We can't do that mirage. If megatron succeeds here, He'll be impossible to beat on cybertron.

Huffer: But we're not fighters like they are, Prime.

What Optimus said next, made Stripe realize the error of his ways.

Optimus: We must have courage, Huffer. We can't ignore the danger. We must conquer it.

Stripe thought about what Optimus had said in that scene and connected it to what Nana told him and what he did to Bandit. He then realized he made a horrible mistake.

Adult Stripe: After seeing that scene, it connected with what Nana told me. I was doing worse than ignoring the danger, I was running from it. And in the process of doing so, I hurt my brother who was looking for redemption. I was pushing him away when he was trying to repair our relationship. I knew then what I had to do.

Stripe then walked to the porch where bandit was sitting. He sat down next to him to greet him.

Young Stripe: Hey.

Young Bandit: Hey.

The two sat in awkward silence for a moment till bandit spoke up.

Young Bandit: Listen, if you're here to tell me you still won't forgive me, I understand. I was ignorant, selfish, and a horrible brother to you. I really don't remember why I even started all that in the first place. Maybe it was because some other kids at school were making fun of their siblings and I wanted to fit in with them or maybe it was because of Bucky Dunstan who's been picking on me since I was 6. But whatever it really was, I still chose to be mean to you. I still was responsible for my own actions, and if you want to hate me for it, That'll be fine cause you can be happy knowing you were right. I really am just a dirty chook.

Bandit had tears in his eyes at this point for the actions he put stripe through. Stripe saw this and could see now his brother was truly sorry and regretful of his actions. And even if there was a 100% chance it was a trick, Stripe had to take that risk to get back the brother he once had. He took a deep breath and spoke.

Young Stripe: I don't hate you Bandit. I've been thinking, and you have been doing a lot of good things for me ever since you got me out of prickle grass. You even gave up $5.00 just so I could get that Optimus Prime figure and I really appreciate that. What I'm trying to say bandit is I forgive you and I'm sorry I said I wouldn't. I was just afraid you were going to end up teasing me again. But after talking with mum, I realize that part of you might always be there because we can't just completely change who we are overnight after learning a lesson. But as long as you really are willing to better yourself and be a better brother to me, I need to learn to live with the times when you're not. But as long as the good outways the bad, I'm willing to go through it.

Bandit didn't know what to say. Stripe had just forgiven him at that moment. Bandit couldn't help but cry tears of joy. Stripe stuck out his hand to shake bandits but to his surprise, Bandit ended up hugging him. Stripe just hugged his brother back, the two having mended their relationship. They didn't know but Radley and Nana saw the whole thing, and both were happy the two had made up. Nana decided to call them in for dinner.

Nana: Bandit! Stripe! Dinner!

Young Bandit: C'mon, let's go in. After all that, I forgot I barely ate anything today.

Young Stripe: Yeah, I'm hungry too.

As the two got up. Stripe wondered about the girl who unjinxed bandit in the first place. Feeling mischievous, he decided to ask bandit.

Young Stripe: So, what about that girl that unjinxed you? Do you like her?

Young Bandit: Aw C'mon Stripe, you too? Did mom put you up to that?

Young Stripe: *chuckles* Maybe.

Young Bandit: ugh, if I'd known this would be the alternative, I would have preferred if you hated me.

Young Stripe: Sure, you would. But admit it, it's better than being jinxed, isn't it?

Young Bandit: Oh definitely, I don't wanna go through that again.

The two laughed as they headed inside. The scene then transitions back to the present where Stripe was finishing the story to his daughters.

Adult Stripe: From that moment on things were different between bandit and me. He still teased me from time to time. Even today, he still does. But it's not as bad as it was back then. I just learned to live with it, and he really became a better brother throughout the years.

Muffin and socks: wwwooowww

Trixie: Well, I think it's a good story.

Muffin and socks were surprised to see that their mother was at the door to their room. They had no idea that she was right there since they were too invested in their dads' story to notice.

Muffin: Mom, how long have you been there?

Trixie: Since your father began his story. But I believe he's finished meaning you two need to get to bed.

Stripe: You heard your mother; another day starts tomorrow.

Muffin and socks go into their beds when socks had a question for stripe.

Socks: Dad, did uncle bandit ever do something for you that you really, really, really, really, really, really like?

Stripe and Trixie smiled at each other both knowing full well the answer to that question. He then turned to socks and spoke.

Stripe: Yes socks. He did something I love most of all. Aunt chilli was also involved with it. It was a few years ago before either of you were born. I invited your aunt and uncle on a boat trip while bluey, who was 2 years old at the time, and bingo, who was a few months old at the time, were at nanas.

The scene then shows the flashback where Stripe was at a small pier at the beach, where he was waiting for bandit and chilli. He had just rented a boat for a few days and invited them to come along for a holiday out at sea. He then saw the two walking up to him to greet him.

Stripe: Hey, you two, glad you could make it.

Bandit: Sure thing bro. We've been meaning to get some holiday time in.

Stripe: Is bluey not coming along with us?

Chilli: No, she's at nanas while we're out. Also stripe, I wanna say thank you for allowing my best friend to tag along.

Stripe: No problem. I'm sure we'll get along great.

At that moment, they heard trixie calling out to them.

Trixie: Hello, over here!

Chilli: Trix, you made it *hugs trixie*

Trixie: *hugs chilli* Of course. I wouldn't miss out on this.

They hugged for a few seconds before letting go so trixie could meet the others.

Trixie: Hey bandit.

Bandit: Good to see you trixie. I wanna introduce my brother to you, Stripe.

Once Stripe and Trixie looked at each other, they both gained an odd feeling neither one could describe. The two stared at each other for a few seconds till Stripe spoke.

Stripe: Hi.

Trixie: Hi, uhh I'm trixie.

Stripe: I'm Stripe.

Both of them were blushing a bit for a few seconds not knowing what to say to the other.

Trixie: Well, I'm sure we'll all have a great time this holiday.

Chilli: I know we will. Let's get your luggage on the boat.

As Chilli helps Trixie with her luggage. Bandit notice stripe had a familiar look he once had when he met Chilli. He could tell it was for trixie so he decided to talk to his brother about it.

Bandit: You know stripe, I know that look when I see it.

Stripe: What look?

Bandit: That look you have right now.

Stripe: What about it?

Bandit: It's the same one I once had when I met chilli.

Stripe: Well…uhh…I…uhh-

Bandit: You like trixie, don't you?

Stripe: Well…She is very pretty, but I don't know, do you think someone like her, and a guy like me-

Bandit cut him off wanting to give him some advice he learned when dating chilli.

Bandit: Listen Stripe, I understand you're nervous, and believe me I was nervous myself when talking to chilli the first time I met her. The thing is, if you're gonna talk to trixie, be your real self. Don't be one of those pretend romance guys you see in rom coms. Just be strong enough to be gentle, be compassionate and understanding, and don't be afraid to show the real you.

Stripe took comfort in bandits' words and looked back at trixie, who was talking to chilli. He truly believed trixie was amazing. He sighed and looked back at bandit with renewed confidence.

Stripe: Thanks bandit, I needed that.

The scene then cuts back to present time where Stripe finished up that part of the story.

Stripe: And that's just what I did. And through that, I realized your mother and I had a lot in common.

Muffin: Really?

Trixie: Your father isn't the only transformer fan here.

Muffin and socks: Wow.

Stripe: It's true, among other things we can relate too. But we'll tell you more tomorrow if you want. Right now, it's bedtime.

Once muffin and socks were fast asleep, stripe and trixie put their arms around each other and walk out of the room heading to theirs. Both loving each other's presence.

The scene then cuts back to the flashback where Stripe and Trixie were talking about the new Transformers films and how they didn't stay true to the original cartoon.

Stripe: I mean, I understand you gotta change and update some things for the films, but would it hurt to just see a few of the original episodes.

Trixie: I know, they couldn't take a few minutes out of their time to rewatch a few episodes to get some ideas for the script?

The two laughed at that, both enjoying each other's company. Chilli called out to her.

Chilli: Hey trix, come over here, this spot on the boat is amazing for sunbathing.

Trixie: Coming! I'll be right back, Stripe. Don't wait up.

To stripes surprise, she kissed him on the cheek. He didn't know what to say as trixie walked over to chilli. He couldn't help but smile over what just happened as he walked over to the mini living room of the boat. He noticed bandit was there giving a smile of approval for him.

Bandit: Way to go bro, I knew you had it in you.

Stripe: Thanks bandit. I really appreciate the help.

Bandit: No problem stripe. I know there have been times I wasn't the nicest brother, but I still care about you. I'm sorry for all the times I've been hard on you.

Stripe: Aww, don't sweat it. We're brothers, it's what we do. I know there have been times I was mean to you. But at the end of the day, we still care for one another.

Stripe stuck his hand out to shake it but bandit hugged him instead. Stripe hugged back similar to what happened that holiday in the 80s. What they didn't know was that chilli and trixie walked in on them hugging thinking it was adorable.

Chilli and trixie: Awwwwwwwww

Stripe and bandit pulled back from each other, blushing and smiling nervously, both clearly embarrassed that Chilli and trixie saw them hugging.

The end.
