The heavenly separation spell

Ch1 :

( Gray's dilemma )

After the battle with Invil and their sacrifice of

their lives, Gray realized that his fears were not just an illusion. When Juvia committed suicide in front of him and unleashed the blood transfusion magic, she proved to him what he had always dreamed of, that he would be the cause of her death and loss her forever, as was the case with all his loved ones before.

And that she would sacrifice her life for him in any situation he faces a threat to his live.

He knew that after what happen, merely rejecting her would not be enough, because the battle itself had proven his feelings for her without a doubt, and now she and the rest of the guild members knew the truth of his feelings. That he loved her as much as she loved him, and his previous rejections were just deception act and defenses that he used to make her repel him.

And despite his defenses and his stubbornness in rejecting her, Juvia continued tirelessly and with all hope to break

through his high walls to reach him... until she succeeded in penetrating his heart and dreams despite all his efforts...

For so many years she did not give up and was not dissuaded by his continuous rejection. So doing that all over again will be a waste of time and effort, that's why only one solution left for him.

A choice that would be the most difficult thing he made in his life, but for her sake he would make it without weakness or hesitation.

Between the moment he thought he had lost her forever and the moment he heard her voice calling ( Graysama ) and realized that she had returned from the death for his sake, he experienced all kinds of torment that he had never tasted before.

It was less than an hour between seeing her blood-covered corpse and hearing his name in her sweet voice. Less than an hour, but he felt it like miserable centuries, as if he had withdrawn from himself to become his worst self, Let his dark part become

embodied, float, and submerge him, and his darkness pervades all corners of his soul, body, and being.

It was terrifying moments that he never thought he would experience, to lose the reason that made him the best version of himself and to reveal the dormant monster inside him. It was a terrifying, dark, and dangerous experience for both. To lose her to death and lose himself to darkness.

He now knows exactly what it means to lose her... what it means not to see her smile, hear her voice, feel her presence, the beauty of her eyes and the heavenly scent of her hair.

He knows what the disappearance of all that would do to himself. Therefore, he will keep all of that, but in return, he will sacrifice their love and force her to continue her life without him and with a future different from what she dreams of and he hopes with all his heart..

He will be forced to dispel her fantasies about him and set her up with another man with whom she will be happy.

He will force her to despair of him and not to come closer than 5 feet to him, and he will deprive her of the ability to touch and feel him. He is determined to activate the "Heavenly Separation Spell" so that he will not be able to be with her or touch her, otherwise it will harm them both... because breaking the spell will cause them to be killed in unbearable pain.

When Gray decided to take that step, he spent the night in extreme misery as he cried like a baby on the floor of the room, holding on to her pillow and wearing the shirt and shawl she had given him.

To abandon her of his own free will, and she is the most precious person to his heart. To force her to give up his love and the fact that her love is

his strength in this life... to leave her for another man, and all he wanted for his happiness was for her to be by his side for the rest of their lives, to see her carrying his children, and for her angelic face to be the first thing he sees when he wakes up and the last thing he sees before flying to dreamland.

He coldly would give those dreams of his to someone else for her to be okay.

Gray hugged himself, sniffling, looking at her picture. Every time he rejected her, he felt pain...but because he knew that she would not give up, his heart calmed down and he hoped that his fears were illusions and that he would live happily with her eventually.

But now the reality has ironically shattered his happiness , and he knows this time his decision have to be final and irreversible. He will keep her away once and for all, and there is no turning back from this decision, and.. and ..

Gray held himself together with trembling hands ,feeling that death is more merciful than all that pain that erodes him to

the marrow of his heart and soul.

Only a few days or weeks are left for him with her. and after that, they must be separated, and their paths will never cross again.

His tears increased as he imagined her in front of him. as she impatiently waiting for that moment. the moment he confesses his love.

He never thought that the moment he would finally give his true answer , he would kill her heart with a wound will never heal.

He did not think for a moment that he would give her his love accompanied by poison in a cup that they would drink together to kill this love in its cradle.

He would violently destroy her dreams and coldly demolish the edifices of her heart.. Oh my God, he would make her miserable while she saw him as her happiness.. He would make her hate the moment she met him.

In the midst of his tears, Gray laughed miserably as he whispered: "You will lose her anyway."

He sank into a tired scream, as if he had returned to the past, and his losses came back in all their ferocity, invading his heart in one moment. Losing Juvia would end everything beautiful in him. It would erase all hope.. and kill every heartbeat.

Her loss is the beginning of her life and the end of his happiness
