A whole week went by and the two heroes hadn't spoken a single word with each other. Mainly because Cat noir was ignoring her. But one night as he sat on the roof of the news agency building he grew curious and opened her call. Cat's eyes where still completely void of any emotion and where just cold and dead. As the call connected he noticed that Ladybug was taken aback when she saw the hurt face of her partner the first time in a week.

"Oh god Chat you finally took it" she said, relief was very noticeable in her voice. Then her whole face demeanor changed and she glared at him. "You missed out on 4 patrols this week. I had to do them all alone" she scolded him.

Cat's eyes filled with tears and she realized what she had done again. "So if i get it right. You try to call me and the first thing you do since a week i scold me? And no sorry or how are you or what happened? Now i see what i'm worth for you" he said and ended the call.

The next 4 weeks went like this tho Hawkmoth was active again and the two had to meet each other. Ladybug tried desperately to get him to talk to her or at least to get a little bit of normality between them. She was so used to him doing puns and trying to hit on her that she started to miss it. He only spoke when it was really necessary and he was hyper aggressive. Cat noir almost used his Cataclysm on one of the Akumas while it still had an innocent Parisian under its bann.

That night Cat noir tried to leave but Ladybug managed to hold him off. As she went closer to him she noticed how he backed up. She tried to touch him but he flinched and closed his eyes, like to braze for another slap. She withdrew her hand and spoke up instead.

"Chat... i'm so sorry for what happened the last couple of weeks" she said and truly looked sorry. She also looked like she was crying a lot lately.

Cat noir just stared her dead in the eyes and said nothing.

"I'm so sorry for how you feel but you know that we can't be to-" she began but Chat cut her of mid sentence with a palm.

"Stop it right there. You know as good as i do that you and i, we can be together. The problem is that for a apparent reason i don't understand you don't want to" he said.

She shook her head. "No chaton. First of all i'm in love with another boy in my privat life and if we would be together than we need to tell us our secret identities and them Hawkmoth would need to Akumatize only one of us to find out the others identity" she said it like a recorded tape.

"If i get 10 cents every time you tell this to me i'd be rich" he said and Ladybug almost smacked him again but she stopped mid swing and paled as she saw the shrunken form of her partner who she actually loved. She loved him so much but she always convinced herself that it's only friendship love she felt but she knew deep in that it was more than that.

Without saying anything more Cat noir jumped off. "Oh my kitty. I'm so sorry" Ladybug said with a broken voice.

"Come on kid, you really need to move on" said plagg to his crying chosen one. "There are hundreds of thousands better than her" he continued.

"Plagg. I don't want another one. I want her" Replied Adrien shakily.

Adrien stopped crying and was now sniffling. He played with his ring and overthought his existence as Cat noir. Plagg noticed and grew agitated.

"Plagg i-"

"No! For fucks sake you're not!"

Adriens eyes widened. "You don't even know what i was going to say" he said.

"You wanted to renounce me right? Nuh uh not again. I can't go through something like that again"

Adrien stared at his kwami in shock. "I'm sorry Plagg" he said and went to sleep.

Not even half a second after Adrien closed his eyes he dozed off and Plagg flew out abd headed right for the Dupain Cheng bakery. After entering Marinette's room he woke her up.

"Oi, dipshit. Wake up!" Tikki woke up and stated at him in disbelief.

"What the hell are you doing here Plagg?" She hissed at him.

"Fucking hell. Guardian Wake the fuck up!" He yelled and Marinette jumped up and in the process almost fell from her bed. She looked over to the little black cat Kwami and then also stared in disbelief.

"Plagg? What are- NO HE DIDNT!" She said, her eyes tearing up already.

"No. No he didn't" he said in a calming tone "but he almost was about!" He returned to his angry demeanor.

"Look i don't care about much stuff but i know that i care about that boy and i do a lot. And i don't know why the hell you rejected him. You two are made for esch other!" He said.

"Plagg you know-"

"No! This is bullshit you're talking. This was never a rule. You just let your fear overtake you and look what it got you. You know as good as i do that you love that boy despite the mask you know you love him and i dare you to say it's only friendship, BECAUSE IT FUCKING ISNT! Look, i shouldn't say that but he was about to end himself a couple of times in the last couple of weeks and i can't lose him. That kid had grown into my heart and i know for a fact that my previous holders killed themselves for far less than a broken heart. So i beg you. Don't try to push him away. Don't let the fear overtake you. YOU TWO ARE ONE! But hey i'm only a Kwami of destruction so the hell do i know right?" He said and flew out.
