Hello! Yup, I know this chapter is being uploaded late, and I'm going to apologize for that. On the other hand, I didn't think that this chapter would take so long to write. Anyway, in this chapter, Luffy and Zoro finally arrive at Beacon Academy. How many new people are they going to meet? If they're going to be in trouble even a day before the initiation? Are they going to find any potential crewmates? Well, all this is going to be seen in this new part of the story.

Chapter 2: Welcome to Beacon! Meeting new friends

After a long time flying in the sky and contemplating beautiful landscapes, many Bullheads are finally arriving at Beacon Academy, one of the biggest Huntsmen academies in Remnant. When the flying transportation landed in the port, the students began to move directly to the academy. Many of them were so excited to begin their dreams as huntsmen, except for two pirates who have a different objective to achieve, … and a blond-haired young man who ran into a trash can to puke the rest of his meal. "WOW! Zoro, check out this place! "It's so BIG!", Luffy says with an excited tone to his recently recruited first official, Zoro. After defeating a corrupt captain and indirectly saving an island, the young pirate captain, Luffy, decided to make a deal with the director of Beacon Academy, Ozpin, to let them stay at his school until they got a pirate ship. With that, the director will give them a map of the Grand Line and, with this, begin their travel to get the One Piece and become the Kind of the Pirates. However, there is another objective that Straw Hat has in mind during his time in Beacon.

"I need to admit it, when I heard about how big Beacon Academy is, I never expected this," Zoro says with a surprising expression.

"Really, no? … Hey! Look at them, Zoro!", At that moment, Luffy turns his attention to a group of four students who are showing their weapons. One is a young girl who looks to have a fashion sense, and she is bringing a big machine gun, the other is a dark-skinned young blind man who brings blades attached to gauntlets. Another is a big, athletic young man who has a dual-edged and two-toned blade. Finally, the fourth member is a Faunus rabbit young woman who only has a camera, but at that moment she shows a magical power, transforming her camera into a lmachine gun made with light which has the same appeareance of the fashionista girl's weapon.

"It looks like there are peculiar students with interesting weapons and semblances; maybe one of them will be a good rival", Zoro says.

"More than that, rival Zoro, between all of these students we will find another future crew member, this is so exciting!", Luffy says with emotion.

"Yeah, but the principal objective is trying to survive the classes and find a ship in the break days." Besides, I recommend you don't shout that we are pirates," Zoro says.

"Huh? Why not?" Luffy complains.

"Look, Ozpin gave us an opportunity to have a place where we can eat and sleep and evade the authorities for a while, but if we say who we are, we will have a lot of problems. So, shut up your mouth and don't say you are a pirate, DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!", Zoro says with an angry tone.

Luffy watches his first official for a while before showing a big smile and saying, "Ok, I'm not going to say anything, I promise."

Zoro sighs before seeing Main Avenue, where all the students are passing. At that moment, Luffy gets an idea, "Zoro, let's separate for the moment and meet these people. Also, we might find a new comrade for our adventure.

Zoro thinks for a while about the proposal from his captain. Of course, they need to maintain a low profile among the people of the academy, but they need to seize this time to get more help for their adventure. "Ok, captain, if you are ordering that, I'm going to agree with you. But don't say at first we're pirates to anybody; we need first to get trust to then reveal our real identity."

With that answer, Luffy jumps with a lot of energy and shouts, "ALL RIGHT, SO LET'S DO IT!"

After that, Zoro goes down a different path, while Luffy prepares for going to other one. Straw Hat was going to leave the port when he heard a weird sound in the Bullhead. The rubber man turns his gaze to the origin of the sound and discovers a Faunus chameleon with a long nose trying to pull a giant green backpack. He has a tan complexion, short curly hair, prominent lips, yellow scales on his body, and a reptilian tale. Also, he wears a dark green jumpsuit, a light green striped bandana tied on his head, a sash around his waist, large dark green boots, and a pair of glasses that are designed for shoots. "Come on, just another effort. Don't make the great Usopp wait his moment!" The young reptile guy is trying so hard to get his backpack, but nothing is working.

Seeing this, Luffy approaches the Faunus with a big smile and says, "HEY, BUDDY, what are you doing?"

This action scared Usopp making him stumble, fall in the port, and, because of his chameleonic characteristics, turn his scales a white color. Luffy approaches him with a confused expression and asks, "Are you ok? I didn't want to scare you."

Usopp realizes what he did and leaves a soft cough before showing confident behavior and turning his scales to their normal color. "Scared? Nah, I wasn't scared. Just I fell because I wanted to check in the ground to know if any Grimm is near this academy."

Luffy sees Usopp with stars in his eyes. The guy said that he can detect Grimm so easily, that sounds really cool for him, "WOW! You have those skills? That sounds AMAZING!".

The chameleon smiles because the rubber man seems to believe in his words … even if they are really lies. "Of course, my friend, not for nothing I'm called Usopp, the detector of Grimm! I can find those monsters so easily thanks to my powers!".

"It's because of your Semblance, no?", Luffy says with a big smile.

"More for that, my friend, is because of my experience in hunting Grimm!" the long-nosed Faunus says.

Luffy is more impressed by the "potential" skills of the Faunus young man. "So, foreigner, what is your name?" Usopp asks.

"My name is Monkey D. Luffy," Luffy says, "So, you want to need some help with that," Luffy asks the Faunus while he points the giant green backpack.

"Don't insult me, I'm a proud captain who have 80 million subordinates won't sit by quietly. I'm enough strong to bring my own belongings!", Usopp says with a confident expression, while Luffy's jaw falls down a lot.

"YOU'RE A CAPTAIN, AWESOME! I'm a captain too," Luffy adds.

"Really?! That sounds great, and what kind of captain are you?", Usopp asks.

Luffy was going to answer Usopp's question before remembering Zoro's words, "Don't say at first we're pirates to anybody; we need first to get trust to then reveal our real identity." At that moment, Straw Hat tries to think of a quick answer to then say, "I'm a captain, but I can say what kind because I made a promise."

"Hmm, weird. Whatever, don't worry about me, I got this", After these words, the Faunus tries again to pull his backpack out the Bullhead. He pulls, and then pulls again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again.

…

"Sorry, can you please help me pull my backpack?" Usopp says it with a nervous tone.

Luffy stayed looking at the liar with a serious gaze before coming near him and helping him with his problem. "All right, so this is yours, no?"

"Yes, just be careful, I don't want that a new friend breaks his… WHAT?!", Usopp becomes too shocked when he sees Luffy having success pulling his giant backpack. However, even with his force, Straw Hat still has a lot of difficulty moving it. At that moment, the chameleon decided to help the rubber man, even if he knew that he did not have enough strength to be a great support, "Don't worry, Captain Usopp is not going to let you do all this work for yourself!" Both pull the backpack, and finally, it has good results, with the backpack nearing leaving the Bullhead when…

At that moment, an explosion is heard in the center of Main Avenue, making Luffy and Usopp lose their concentration and let the backpack fall on them. Then, the backpack begins to roll to the origin of the explosion, along with the two poor men who are screaming with a lot of panic, "AAAAHHHHHHHHH! HELP!"

Beacon Academy – Center of the Main Avenue

A dense fog is covering the place while two women are heard coughing. Then, the fog disappears and reveals two young women with some suitcases scattered around. One is younger and has a fair complexion, neck-length black hair with red tips, and silver eyes. She wears a black long-sleeved blouse, a black waist cincher with red lacing up the front, a matching skirt with red lining, black stockings, black boots with red soles, and a red cloak with a hood. The other young woman has a pale complexion, pale blue eyes, and long white hair tied in a ponytail. She wears a thigh-length strapless dress with a faint color gradation from white to pale blue. a bell-sleeved bolero with the same color gradation as her dress, lined in red and with a ruffled collar, and wedged heeled white boots. She has an emblem of a snowflake on the back of her bolero. The hooded girl is sniffing softly while the white-haired girl is watching her, so angry. "Unbelievable! This is exactly the kind of thing I was talking about!", the white-haired girl says.

"I'm really, really sorry", the hooded girl says with a sad tone.

"Ugh! You complete dolt, what're you even doing here? Aren't you a little young to be attending Beacon?!", the fancy girl says.

"Well, I-I…", the young girl with the red cloak, tries to explain herself, but she seems to be too shy to confront the angry rich woman.

"This isn't your ordinary combat school!" It's not just sparring and practice! You know we're here to fight monsters, so watch where you're going!" the white-haired young woman says.

At that moment, the patience of the hooded girl seems to be gone, and she begins to confront the rich young woman, starting with a serious gaze and saying, "Hey! "I said I was sorry, Princess!"

"It's heiress, actually", suddenly, said a young woman with black wavy hair, approaching the argument. She has a fair complexion and amber eyes. Also, she wears a black, buttoned vest, a white, sleeveless, high-necked, crop undershirt, which is underneath the vest, white shorts, black boots, a small black scarf around her neck, and a black bow on her head. She is bringing a little bottle of fire dust with the same emblem as the white-haired girl. It seems that object was the thing that caused the previous explosion. "Weiss Schnee, Heiress of the Schnee Dust Company, one of the largest producers of energy propellant in the world," the young woman with the ribbon says.

Weiss makes a pose with a lot of pride because of the words of the mysterious young girl, "Finally, some recognition…"

"The same company infamous for its controversial labor forces and questionable business partners," the mysterious woman adds, making Weiss angrier.

"What? How dare…!"

"WAAAAAHHH! SOMEBODY HELP!", At that moment, the three young women turned their gazes to see a big ball coming to them. They are immediately shocked by what they are seeing. The enormous ball is closer to them. So, Weiss goes to one of the suitcases and, from there, takes a standard-sized silver-gray rapier whose hilt possesses four prongs that encase the revolver-like chamber around the ricasso instead of a bow-type hand guard. At that moment, the heiress opens her rapier to show six slots inside her weapon. Then, she quickly comes to another suitcase and takes a vial of dust . She inserts the dials in her rapier, and when the ball is near him, she draws her sword to create a glyph in the form of a snowflake. With that power, the ball stops and liberates Luffy and Usopp from hard pain.

"What the- ", the hooded girl says with an impressed expression, especially when she sees Usopp's backpack.

Otherwise, the girl with the bow seems to calm so quickly. Even if it was an unexpected event, the problem was solved, or maybe not.

Luffy and Usopp move so dizzy around Main Avenue, "Waaa! I think after that, I have more hungry!", Luffy says with swirls in his eyes.

"What are you saying, talking monkey? I'm not going to let you steal my treasures. Not for nothing, I'm Captain Usopp!", Usopp says, in a dizzy situation.

At that moment, Weiss analyzes the identities of the two young men, and then she returns to his angry expression when she recognizes Usopp, "Wait a minute, you're the stupid Faunus who nearly killed us with your belongings. Look what you did!"

Usopp recovers his conscience, and when he sees Weiss he gives her a serious gaze and says, "Oh, great, the rich woman that was criticizing me on the path to the academy".

"Save your words, liar, you nearly killed me with your stupid backpack!", Weiss says.

"Liar? I'm not that. I had control of the situation". Usopp says it with a confident tone.

"And you were so strong that you launched the backpack to here, no?" the heiress says.

"Ok, maybe that was my fault. I'm going to apologize, just calm down, and we could solve this situation," Usopp replies.

"What solution? You were near to commit a crime; why does your species always introit in my way?!", Weiss says. At that moment, the black-haired girl, who is watching the scene, sees the heiress with an angry expression because of her last words.

"What does it matter if I'm a Faunus? I'm trying to apologize, and you only yell at me? At least I'm not saying that all the rich are evil, because my best friend is one," Usopp exclaims.

"Huh! You're lying again, it's impossible that a creature like you has a friend like that," Weiss says.

"That's not a lie!", Usopp says in an angry tone.

"Why couldn't it be that?. You're just ly…"

"STOP!", At that moment, the heiress turns her gaze and sees an angry Luffy approaching her. "Leave Usopp in peace! Yeah, he would make a mistake, but being a Faunus is not a reason to insult him!"

"What are you saying?"He was putting others in danger because of his incompetence. Just control your friend and…", Weiss couldn't end her words because Luffy sent her an intimidating gaze, making her stop their words. However, at that moment, Weiss watches so quietly; it seems that she saw him in the past, but where?

"I said stop. If you want to insult him again, you need to pass through me, ok?", Luffy says in a serious tone.

At that moment, Weiss sent him a disgusted face and said, "Whatever, I don't have time for this. However, I don't know who you are, but you sound so familiar to me."

Luffy sees Weiss with a confused expression and asks, "What're you saying? This is the first time that I've seen you."

At that moment, the Schnee's Heiress was so upset because of all the things that had happened to her, so she decided to end all of this by saying, "Just forget about that, I'm tired of all of this!". Before leaving, she comes to the girl with the ribbon and snatches her portion of fire dust before leaving a frustrated sigh, "Ugh!"

Meanwhile, Usopp is watching her with a serious gaze before Luffy turns to him with a worried expression and asks, "Usopp, are you ok?"

"Don't worry. Unfortunately, Faunus, Gyojins, and other species have those problems in their lives, but nothing of that will affect the powerful Captain Usopp!" The long-nosed Faunus says it with a confident tone.

At that moment, the red-hooded young girl sees Weiss leaving along with her butlers, who are helping her bring her belongings. The young girl tries to apologize to Weiss for her accident, "I promise I'll make this up to you!" However, the heiress ignores her and walks in the direction of the academy. The young girl with silver eyes sighs softly, "I guess I'm not the only one having a rough first day... so what's up?" The hooded woman tries to talk to the girl with the ribbon, but she is too busy leaving Main Avenue, making her feel more alone. With that, she lies on the ground, totally depressed, and looks at the sky. "Welcome to Beacon," the young girl says with a sad expression, but she is forgetting that she is not totally alone yet.

"Hey, why are you there?", The hooded girl turns her gaze and discovers Luffy watching him with a big smile. She immediately became surprised and stood up so quickly with a squeak.

"S-sorry, I forgot you two were still here", the hooded girl says with a nervous tone.

"Shishishishi! Don't worry about that. Come on, let me help you." Luffy brings his hand to the hooded young woman and helps her stand up.

"Who was that girl with the bow?" Luffy asks.

"I-I don't know, I recently met her in the academy. S-so, who are you?", the silver-eyed young woman asks.

"Oh! I'm Monkey D. Luffy, nice to meetcha!", Straw Hat says with a big smile.

"And I'm the great Captain Usopp, it's a pleasure," Usopp says, doing a confident pose.

The hooded young girl laughs softly, "Hehehe, you seem so funny."

"And what is your name?", Luffy asks.

At first, the young girl seems so nervous to answer and has shyness problems, but after a few minutes, she finally gives an answer with a smile, "I'm Ruby. Ruby Rose."

"Excuse me, guys, but is it possible that I can join you?", At that moment, the three new friends turned their gazes to discover a blond-haired young man who had been there a few minutes ago after the problem with Weiss. He is a fair-skinned, quite toned young man with dark blue eyes. The guy wears a black short-sleeved hoodie with detached reddish-orange sleeves, blue jeans, brown wrist-length gloves with exposed fingertips and small metal plates over the back, and black sneakers. Besides, his hoodie is covered by a white diamond-shaped chest plate, and a sword is strapped to his left hip in a sheath.

At that moment, Luffy realizes who the guy is before laughing, "Wait a second, you're the guy who was puking in the ship!"

With that, Ruby and Usopp are trying to contain their laughter. On the other side, Jaune seems so embarrassed by Straw Hat's clarification. "Hey! In my defense, that Bullhead was moving a lot, and I didn't have my medicine. Besides, I'm not clearly flying a lot."

"Your face was so green! Hahahahaha, it was like a lemon," Luffy says, making Ruby and Usopp laugh a lot while Jaune tries to ignore that, "Good first day, Jaune, good first day."

"Who does that kid think he is to threaten me?", Weiss is walking to the reception to leave her belongings along some butlers who are helping her. During this time, she is can't be calm. First, a Faunus put in danger her transportation along other students because he had the greatest idea to bring his giant backpack with him. Then, a girl who is younger than her provokes an accident with her dial of fire dust. After that, the same Faunus near kill her with his backpack. Finally, a young man with a straw hat threatens her because she had an argue with the Faunus. This last one event was becoming her angrier especially because that for any reason she saw him in the past, but who is him? It was not probably that was a childhood friend because of her hard past. This question is dominating her mind when…

"Miss Schnee are you ok?", at that moment, one of her butlers who were with she approaches to her with a smile. He is the personal butler of Schnee Company, Klein Sieben. He is a short, slightly heavyset man with balding brown hair, a large mustache, and light brown eyes. He wears a white-collar long sleeves shirt, black vest, and cyan tie, black trousers, and black shoes. In additional, he carries a pocket watch in his person to keep track on time.

At that moment, Weiss gets out from her thoughts and turns his gaze to Klein showing a smile. "Don't worry Klein, it just I was thinking about something that happened, that was not so really important."

"You know that you can talk always with me… of course if any tries to make you feel bad, I'm going to put their words returned in their mouths!", at that moment, Klein's eyes turn red and his personality changes to other grumpier.

"Hehehe, Klein, it's ok, you know that I can protect myself. However, I really appreciate that you care about me", Weis says with a happy tone.

While this happens, Klein focus his gaze to Weiss's eye scar with a worried expression. Then, he put their hands in Weiss's shoulders to comforted while his eyes turn yellow. Klein knows that scar represents the price that she needs to pay to finally enter to Beacon Academy, "Little snowflake, I know that you are going to achieve in your objective, and you'll be better person than your father. I trust you."

Weiss smiles and gives Klein a hug. After a few minutes they separated and going to different paths. "Goodbye, Miss Schnee, you're going to do great things in the future", Klein says while her eyes return to the light brown eyes and go with the rest of butlers to the port. At that moment, Weiss sighs and then she goes to Beacon's auditorium for the ceremony. "Well, it seems that the path is there, or it is in another way. Hmmm, maybe I could consult that at my scroll", the heiress says to herself. She was gonna take his device when…

"Sorry, lady, it seems that you're lost. Can I help you?"; at that moment, a young man approaches to Weiss with a seductor gaze. He has a fair complexion and blond hair, which he keeps brushed over the left side of his face. He wears a black, double-breasted suit with golden buttons, a black tie, a long-sleeved button-down blue shirt, and dark blue dress shoes. Finally, a curious characteristic of his appearance is his eyebrows, which form a spiral at the inner end.

"Ah, thanks, but I don't need help. I just can use my scroll to find the path", Weiss says with a nervous tone.

"Yes, but this is a big academy, if so easy to be lost in a place like this", at that moment the guy nods to Weiss with an elegant style before presenting himself, "oh, sorry for my modals. My name is Sanji, it's a pleasure to meet a beautiful woman like you."

"Ah, thanks?", Weiss says. Meanwhile, in her mind, "What a good day I'm having, now a strange guy appears and is being so annoying". Then, she simulates a fake smile and turns his gaze to Sanji whose eyes are in form of heart. "I'm glad that you want to help a girl like me, but I don't want to lose your appreciated time. Maybe, you don't want to be late at the ceremony. Also, maybe you don't know who I am, but…"

"Don't worry, lady, I've never can forget an angel face like yours. You're Weiss Schnee, the heiress of Schnee Company. However, I'm more interested in make real your wishes than your riches.", Sanji says as he crouches in front of the heiress.

"Well, at least he recognizes me, but that doesn't take away the weirdness." Weiss says in his mind.

At that moment, Sanji takes from his suit a rose and offers it to Weiss, who is showing some blushes because of the direct action of the sous-chef, "Oh, dear destiny, thanks for this treasure you've shared from your depths."

"Huh?" Weiss says it with a surprising expression.

"Oh, yes, my love, I can't bear this hardship of loving you from afar; it is too difficult."I am not prepared to sail in the ends of Remnant as a servant. If it means someone of your rare beauty will be by my side!", Sanji says while he sees Weiss with his eyes in the form of a heart.

The Schnee's heiress is now cringing at the behavior of Sanji. "To be together, traveling around the kingdoms, but how a tragic obstacle blocks our way!"

Tired of the flirty, blond-haired man, Weiss decided to find a way to escape. "Actually, I think that you can do me a favor," Weiss says, faking a smile.

"Anything for you, beautiful princess!" Sanji says.

"Could you please tell me where the ceremony is?" Weiss says.

"Of course, my lady is in that direction," Sanji says, pointing to the right path.

"Ok, thanks for your help!" Weiss says, while she runs away in the direction that Sanji pointed.

After a few minutes, the cook recovers from the beauty overload and realizes that the white-haired girl is gone. The wind is moving and creating a silent environment while Sanji is still crouching in the streets. "Well, y-your welcome, it was a pleasure to help," Sanji says, even if Weiss was not there. He's still looking the way Weiss goes when he realizes something important, "Wait a moment, I'm a student too, I need to be in the ceremony, so that means…"

"WAIT ME, WEISS-SWAN! I'M COMING!", Sanji says while he comes to the ceremony, moving his feet like a tornado and having his eyes in the form of a heart.

Zoro is exploring the entire academy for himself. Until that moment, the swordsman found many interesting places that Beacon has: A gym with many fitness machines and dumbbells of different sizes; a dining area; a library where, more than reading, he will take a rest sometimes; and a maintenance center where the students can go to repair their weapons. On the other side, he could not find anything interesting about the students. Of course, they will be people who have fantastic skills and interesting weapons, but most of them seem to want to become huntsmen and huntresses. After a deep look, the ex-bounty hunter decided to stop his research and go to the ceremony. He goes to the left and continues walking when…

"Wait, I think that I see this tree again. Hmm, whatever, maybe this is the right path", Zoro decided to take another route, only to arrive again in the same place with the same tree. "What strange, maybe I'm becoming mad."Let's try again, it might be in this direction", The swordsman goes on a different path, but for a weird reason he ends up in the same place with the same tree AGAIN! "WHAT'S THE MATTER OF THIS PLACE?!"

"Hehehe, it looks like someone doesn't have sense of direction", Zoro turns his gaze and discovers a golden-haired girl watching him with a smile. She is a young woman with long, wavy golden hair and lilac eyes. She wears a tan jacket that bares her midriff, with a low-cut yellow crop underneath. Besides, she wears a brown belt covered by a pleated brown piece of material reaching from hip to hip around the back of her waist. Underneath this is a long, white, asymmetrical piece of material reaching to her knee on the right side, as well as a pair of tight black spandex compression shorts that reach her upper thighs. She wears a pair of brown knee-high boots and orange over-the-knee socks, with the right sock pushed down just below the knee.

"Are you the girl who had puke in her boots?" Zoro says.

"WHY YOU REMIND THAT?!", the young woman shouts when her face turns green, "Oh man, and I thought that I forgot that moment". After taking some breaths, she returns to show her smile, saying, "Anyway, why are you running around circles, pretty boy?" "Of course, girls like men with a lot of confidence; you're going great", Usopp says, as he sends him a thumbs up from a nearby corner. To improve his disguise, he is using a dark suit that, along with his chameleonic skills, he is camouflaging to not be seen.

While this happens, Weiss notes what happened and sighs with an irritated expression because another blond-haired guy is trying to flirt with her, "Oh great, you again?"

However, it seems that the lovely advice of Usopp is not totally a failure because it seems that the technique is functioning with another champion girl. "Nice to meet you, Jaune!", Pyrrha says.

"It seems that is functioning, Jaune. The next step is to approach the girl who shows interest in you. Go ahead, my student!", Usopp says it with a captain's tone. Nevertheless, Jaune does the opposite of what Usopp said. The blond-haired young man ignores Pyrrha and approaches Weiss with a flirtatious gaze. When Usopp watches this, he facepalms and says, "Yeah, yeah. So, Weiss, couldn't help but overhear your fondness for me the other day," Jaune says, showing a smile to the heiress, who is totally upset.

"Oh, you've got to be kidding me!", Weiss says while she touches her forehead in annoyance.

"Yeah, you've got to be kidding me, too! Why do you want to flirt with the Ice Queen?!", Usopp says this with an angry expression because of the ignorance of his friend.

"Don't worry, no need to be embarrassed. So, I've been hearing rumors about teams. I was thinking you and I would make a good couple. What do you say?", Jaune says with a confident smile and a cool pose.

"Actually, I think the teams are comprised of four students each, so-,"

"You don't say. Well, hot stuff, play your cards right, and maybe you'll join up with the winning team," Jaune says with a confident tone.

"Yes! Talking about how you're a perfect winner and show a lot of confidence obtains a lot of points. Now, the next step is –"

"Jaune, is it? Do you have any idea who you're talking to?", Weiss says, while she puts herself in the middle of Pyrrha and Jaune.

"Damn you, Ice Queen! It doesn't matter what the status, go away!", Usopp says in his mind while he punches the wall near him. However, this is not the end of his stressful moments.

"Not in the slightest, Snow Angel," Jaune replies, causing Usopp facepalm again, this time with a red mark on his forehead. "Come on, Jaune, it's impossible that you never heard anything about her, she is a celebrity!", Usopp says.

"This is Pyrrha", Weiss says introducing the red-haired girl.

"Hello again", Pyrrha replies with a kind tone.

"Pyrrha graduated top of her class at Sanctum", Weiss says, crossing her arms with pride.

"Never heard of it," Jaune says.

"Huh?!", Usopp says with a shocked expression and his jaw down.

"Ah, she's won the Mistral Regional Tournament four years in a row. A new record," Pyrrha continues to accomplish the red-haired champion.

"The what?", Jaune says with a confused tone.

"HUH?!", Usopp has his jaw more dropped than the last time.

…

"She's on the front of every Pumpkin Pete's marshmallows flakes box!", Weiss says, waving her arms, so irritated.

"That's you?! They only do that for star athletes and cartoon characters!", Jaune says with a smile.

"THAT'S HOW YOU RECOGNIZED HER, IDIOT?", Usopp says, irritated, making Jaune's ears hurt.

"AUCH!", Jaune exclaims.

"Are you ok, Jaune?", Pyrrha asks with a worried gaze.

"Don't worry, it's only a MEDICAL PROBLEM!", Jaune shouts, making this time Usopp a painful moment.

"Sorry, it's just that many people are always annoying me with that, it's nothing weird," Jaune says with a fake smile while Weiss and Pyrrha are showing him discomfort. "Anyway, I can't believe that your face is in my favorite cereals!"

"Yeah, it was pretty cool. Sadly, the cereal isn't very good for you," Pyrrha replies.

"So, after hearing all of this, do you really think you're in a position to ask her to be on your team?", Weiss says with her arms crossed.

"Well, that's it, I don't know why, but the Ice Queen has reason. She is not on your level, friend," Usopp says while he turns off his microphone. With this, it seems that Jaune doesn't have any hope with his attempt.

"I- I guess not, sorry", Jaune says while he looks down, totally defeated.

But then Pyrrha comes and touches his shoulder while she looks at Jaune's face with his shiny green eyes and says, "Actually, Jaune, I think you'd make a great leader".

"Huh?", Usopp says with a surprised tone, nearly being discovered by Weiss. He doesn't believe that Pyrrha, the invincible girl, was going to be interested in a man like Jaune.

"Oh, stop it", Jaune says with a happy and nervous tone. It seems that the operation was not a failure.

"Seriously, please stop it. This kind of behavior should not be encouraged!", Weiss tries to dismiss Jaune again. But at that moment, Usopp was sick of her intro mission, so he drew his Ginga Pashinko and pointed into Weiss's head."Special Attack: Lead Star."

*BANG* *FIUUUM* *POW*

"AAAHH!, who threw this thing to my head?!", Weiss exclaims while she turns her gaze to find the guilty. On the other side, Usopp whistles with a mischievous tone.

Weiss rubs the bruise on her head while Jaune approaches with an egomaniacal expression. "Sounds like Pyrrha's on board for Team Jaune. Spots are filling up quickly. Now, I'm not supposed to do this, but maybe I could pull some strings; find a place for you. What do you say?"

"Alright, that's a bit too close. Pyrrha, a little help please," Weiss exclaims. At that moment, Pyrrha launches her Milo in its javelin form, impacting Jaune's hoody.

"I'm sorry", Pyrrha apologizes to the armored young guy. While this happened, Usopp was totally shocked by the skill of the girl known as the invincible champion, "Mental note: Avoid any battle with this girl, she scares me!".

"Would all first-year students please report to Beacon cliff for initiation? Again, all first-year students report to Beacon cliff immediately", Professor Glynda Goodwitch says trough a speaker of the Locker Room.

"It was nice meeting you," Pyrrha says, smiling to Jaune and then recovering her Milo with a mysterious power.

"Likewise," Jaune replies to Pyrrha with a defeated tone. At that moment, Usopp gets out of the corner while he takes out his camouflage clothes that was over his normal clothing. "So, Usopp, how was I there?"

"Ahhm, meh, fifty-fifty, but don't worry, for the first time, it was a good beginning. Now, you're ready for the next step of Captain Usopp's plan to get a girlfriend!", Usopp says while he helps Jaune stand up.

"Yes, and is trying to convince Weiss to have a date with me," Jaune says with a cool pose while Usopp makes a facepalm, "I think that you don't understand the situation", Usopp says in his mind.

"Honestly, you two were making a terrible attempt", Jaune and Usopp turn their gazes to see Sanji in a corner.

"What are you trying to say? Jaune gets the attention of the Mistral Champion. For me, that is a victory for me," Usopp said.

Sanji approaches Jaune and Usopp with a serious gaze and says, "Listen, amateurs, maybe you are thinking that getting a girlfriend is so easy, but to really achieve it, you need to respect and treat them as a treasure "

"Treasure?", Jaune asks.

"I don't understand you, weirdo, but even with your help, Jaune is now a good master," Usopp said.

"Oh, yeah? I think that you were invading girls personal space, making them uncomfortable and acting like you were the most important men in the world. Let me tell you … your techniques are garbage", Sanji says.

"How dare you? Girls like men who want to act confident, who are like heroes, and who show their bravery to the world. That's why, along my side, Jaune is going to achieve his objective," Usopp says with a confident tone.

"Of course, you have a point. But you still have no idea how to treat a lady, especially with Weiss. If you want to impress her with things that are not truth, you're never going to achieve to gain her interest, or I'm wrong?", Sanji says while Jaune is looking down with a defeated expression.

"Having some trouble there, lady-killer?", Yang says while she approaches to Jaune, Usopp, and Sanji, along with Ruby, Luffy, and Zoro.

"What were you doing? You were playing a spy's game?", Luffy asks with a smile.

"Hello, Yang! Do you remember me?!", Sanji says with heart in his eyes.

"Hey, what do we have here? It's the handsome gentleman. Don't worry, how can I forget a face like yours?", Yang says while she approaches Sanji with a smile to Sanji making him expulses smog from his body.

"Oh, come on, not again, the Swirly Eyebrows", Zoro complains.

"Huh?! What is your problem with me, Mr. Swordsman? You're not intimidated of me for the initiation", Sanji says.

"How could I be intimidated by a guy in a suit with ridiculous twirly eyebrows? I could survive this initiation with my swords and eliminate more Grimm than you", Zoro says.

"Oh yeah?! I could survive more easily than you without using any weapons and destroy more Grimm in only seconds, Moss Head!", Sanji says in an angry tone.

"I'm not a Moss Head!", Zoro says. It seems that in that instant, many thunderbolts were showing between them.

"Guys, guys, come on! The initiation is going to start! Why not go there and have a friendly competence?", Ruby says, trying to calm the rivalry between the swordsman and the cook.

"Ruby has reason, I'm going to show you my skills in the camp. I'm going to defeat you, Moss Head," Sanji says.

"No, I'm gonna defeat you, Twirly Eyebrows", Zoro says. Then, both go in the direction of the Beacon Cliff.

"Hehehe, looks like Zoro found something interesting", Then Luffy turns his gaze to Jaune who is still shown sad, and asks, "Jaune, are you all right?"

"I don't understand. My dad said all girls want is confidence. Oh, where did I go wrong?", Jaune asks.

"Don't be bad with you, you haven't yet heard Usopp's secret techniques. Forget that guy with twisted eyebrows; just follow your man instints!", Usopp says.

"Usopp, are you sure that you're giving him good pieces of advice?", Yang says with a confused tone.

"I'm a master of love, trust me that I have experience in these things," Usopp says.

"Right, for your students and master, I'm going to say that snow angel probably wasn't the best start", Yang says.

"What? Oh, come on, it was a good beginning for me", Usopp says.

"Usopp, you don't fool me," Yang says.

"Come on, Jaune, let's go," Ruby says while she and Luffy help Jaune stand up.

Beacon Academy - Beacon Cliff

At the cliff, all the new first-year students are formed in a line, while Ozpin and Professor Goodwitch are in the front. Luffy can't stay immobile and is doing some flexing exercises while he smiles because of the excitement that he is feeling to begin the initiation, Zoro is in a crossed-arm position, watching the forest. Then he turns his gaze to Sanji who is mocking him by using his fingers to form an "L.". This made the swordsman angry, but at that moment he decided to take a breath and ignore the man with swirly eyebrows. After teasing the "moss-haired" a little, Sanji directs his gaze to Weiss and then winks at her. Weiss seems disgusted by this action, and she decides to cross her arms and ignore the cook. On the other side, Usopp and Jaune are shacking a lot because of the height of the cliff. The Faunus chameleon is the most terrified because, if he doesn't die falling in the forest, he will die being attacked by a Grimm. Yang is preparing her sunglasses to make a cool entrance. Blake seems to be the only one who has control over her emotions and is only focusing on knowing where she could arrive. Nora is another energetic student who can't avoid jumping on her platform and hiding her wish to begin the initiation. Otherwise, Ren is meditating to focus and prepare mentally for the difficult event. Pyrrha is preparing for the launch, but she can't avoid watching Jaune in some moments. Finally, Ruby seems so impressed and enthusiastic about what is going to happen because it is her first step to becoming a huntress, her dream of all her life.

"For years, you have trained to become warriors, and your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest," Ozpin explains.

"Now, I'm sure many of you have heard rumors about the assignment of teams. Well, allow us to put an end to your confusion. Each of you will be given teammates. Today," Glynda explains.

"What? Hooh", Ruby says with a disappointed tone because of her disliking of the new.

Otherwise, Luffy, who is near Ruby, seems totally motivated, "YESS! I can't wait to know who is going to be my partner!" At that moment, Luffy remembers something and focuses his gaze on Zoro, who shows him the piece of meat that was given to him. Seeing this, Luffy smiles at him and sends a thumbs up.

"These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon. So, it is in your best interest to be paired with someone with whom you can work well," Ozpin explains. During that moment, Ruby is still concerned about the idea of being on a team. Yup, she recently made some friends, but that doesn't mean it's comfortable for her to be surrounded by them.

"That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years," Ozpin says.

With that final word, Ruby's mind seems to break in many pieces while she maintains a shocked face. "WHAT?!", Ruby yells with a surprised tone.

"See, I told you," Nora says to Ren because she has reason to believe they are going to be separated.

"Well, it looks like those clients don't lie in any second," Zoro says, "Now is the moment to realize our plan, captain. We need to achieve this".

"After you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest. You will meet opposition along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path, or you will die," Ozpin advises.

"Hehehe", Jaune says before gulping.

"You will be monitored and graded for the duration of the initiation, but our instructors will not intervene. You will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path, containing several relics. Each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff. We will regard that item, as well as your standing, and grade you appropriately. Are there any questions?"

"Yeah, um, sir," Jaune and Usopp begin at the same time.

"Good. Now, take your positions," Ozpin says, ignoring Jaune and Usopp questions. In this order, everyone takes their own stance. However, Usopp and Jaune are still scared about what is going to happen. At that moment, Blake is launched first to the forest.

"Uh, sir. I got a… I got a question," Jaune says while, at the same time, Weiss is the next to be launched by the platform where she was standing up. "So, this landing strategy thing, what is it? You're like, dropping us off somewhere?", Jaune asks while Sanji is the next to be launched.

"No. You will be falling," Ozpin answers, while Pyrhaa is the next to be launched.

"Hehe, but as you see, this cliff has a huge height; is there any parachute or, I don't know, an elevator to make this landing more safe?", Usopp says with a nervous tone as another student is launched.

"Yes, maybe that will make us feel better," Jaune says as Nora is next launched to the forest.

"No. You will be using your own landing strategy," Ozpin answers before Ren is the next one to go to the forest.

"Uh-huh, that," Jaune says while another student is launched.

"I see the point, Director Ozpin. Sorry if I said this, but I have a strange disease that is recently discovered and is called "do not be launched into the forest" disease. Seriously, it is recently beginning to be a big problem these days," Usopp says. At that moment, Zoro is the next to be launched before giving a nod to Luffy to follow their plan.

"Y-Yes, I have that too; it's really contagious, and I don't want to die. So, we could have a special permission to do the initiation differently?", Jaune asks while Yang winks at Ruby before putting on her shady glasses and getting launched. Then Ruby gives a thumbs up to Luffy before being launched along with her older sister.

"Ok, forget that, at least you can say what exactly is a landing strateGYYYYYYY?!" Jaune was formulating his question before being launched to the forest.

Seeing this, Usopp is too scary for the idea, "You know maybe this is the right moment to reveal that I'm not exactly too brAAAVEEEEEEE!", Usopp tried to escape from the platform, but for his bad luck, he was launched making him scream so high.

Finally, Luffy is the last to be launched, but before that Ozpin approaches to him. "So, young Luffy, are you prepared for this?", Ozpin asks.

"He doesn't worry, Tea Man, I'm going to find the One Piece, I will always be prepared", Luffy says before being launched, "YAHOOOOOO!". With this, the initiation is beginning, and the students are ready for their first proof that begins their trip as huntsmen, or in the case of others, pirates.

"You know, Ozpin, watching him, I'm really impressed that he is a pirate", Glynda says.

"Well, pirates are pirates, but that doesn't mean that all are gonna be the same", Ozpin says before drinking his chocolate from his mug.

YESSSS! Finally, the next chapter. Sorry if I take my time. This chapter was originally going to be updated on Saturday, but there were a lot of things to do. But there it is! In this chapter, I decided to write based in the second, third, and fourth chapters of Volume 1 of RWBY. I thought that it was going to be so short, and I will adapt it to include the battle of the initiation, but I calculated badly, and the battle is going to be in the next chapter. This chapter, I think, was so calm in respect to battles and movements. Otherwise, this chapter was written to show how there are going to be some relationships between the characters.

Now, talking about the references, there are some that are related to the trailers that I wrote, especially the Blue Trailer, which is Sanji's debut. He is there not for travel, but more to make him stronger and help The Baratie. But is it really his true dream? On the other side, Luffy seems happy watching Ruby and Yang's sister relationship because it reminds him a lot of his relationship with his brother. Is he going to appear in the future? Also, I decided to make Ruby have knowledge about the quality ranks of the weapons. As a weapons dork, it didn't sound weird that she knew about the Wado Ichimonji.

On the other side, talking about relationships, Yang still has her flirty personality, which makes her attracted to handsome men like Zoro or Sanji. On the other side, the problem with Weiss is that Faunus was shown earlier because of the appearance of Usopp, but at least Luffy defended him for still yelling. Weiss is one of my favorite characters, but I need to admit that her early behavior was sometimes annoying. But at least we can read that he has a sensible side, especially with her relationship with Klein. I know, Klein didn't debut in Volume 1, but it is not confirmed that he would stay there to help Weiss with her belongings. However, she seems to remember Luffy, but for what?

In the case of Jaune, I think that he has a lot of similarities with Usopp. Both are considered, at the beginning, the weakest members of the series because of their personalities or lack of confidence. Also, they want to be shown as cool or the greatest, even if that is not true. Besides, they had a fearsome personality that made them easily intimidated by some enemies that they could not manage. With that, I think that they could interact more as good friends, even if Usopp is a total liar.

Along with the iconic moment in the series where she meets Ruby and Yang, Blake has an interaction with Captain Usopp when he tries to get her number only to prove that he is a "master of love". I only need to say that this is not going to be the first time that Usopp is going to be in trouble because of one of his lies. And, of course, there is a reference to a book that is considered filth, maybe you can recognize him if you watch RWBY Chibi.

In the case of Sanji, it seems that he has an interest in Weiss too; is there going to be a rivalry between Jaune and him? On the other side, Sanji is going to be permitted by Ozpin to work at Baratie after his classes. This possibly is gonna bring an important event in the future. And, of course, I couldn't forget about his rivalry with Zoro. Initially, they didn't consider themselves enemies in the series, and there is a process by which they begin to hate each other. But here, the hate begins at the beginning, where the cause of this was technically Weiss's fault because he knows about Rorona Zoro's reputation and makes Sanji think that he is gonna hurt the heiress.

Finally, Luffy has problems maintaining the secret that he is really a pirate, especially with Ruby. Is he going to spend more time doing this? Also, Luffy still didn't show his power to other characters, except for Zoro. I decided this because I wanted Luffy to show his devil fruit power in the forest and get more reactions from team RWBY, team JNPR, Usopp, and Sanji.

With these, there are all the points that I made in this chapter. Yes, it didn't have fights, of course, but the next chapter is going to have more action and you know why. Thanks for reading this chapter, send your reviews, follow this story; make a favorite; and see you next week!

Zoro would be a good option; he's strong, and his Wado Ishimonji is amazing, but according to Yang he has direction problems. Blake would be a good option! But it seems too difficult to communicate with her. Sanji, well, I didn't know him too much, but he seems strong too, but his personality with girls will be a problem. Luffy is so kind and completely funny, but... what kind of skill does he have? I don't know, this is so stressful! … Wait a minute. You are going to be my partner? This is going to be awesome!
