Chapter 19:

This was it…The final straw that finally broke through Ryuko's psyche. Ryuko's eyes had lost their color. In fact, even Vejin was left speechless that Goku Jr was killed. Ryuko was left in complete despair, he had no idea what had happened to him until he snapped. His eyes began to fill with tears as they continued streaming down his face. Ryuko picks up and holds his grandfather in his arms tightly. Ryuko held onto his fallen grandpa tightly as his rage began to well up inside.

Vejin would begin to try to stand back up, but he ends up falling back on his ass as he looks onto the battlefield. The Saiyan notes: "That old man…It was a foolish move to do such a thing. But, I will say that he was a true Saiyan warrior in his final moments. You fought bravely to the very end…You have my respects.."

Ryuko's anger continued to build up. The clouds would darken in the area. King Kobra looks at the sky: "What's this? The clouds have suddenly changed…" Ryuko's body began to glow with this strange light. It wasn't his typical aura, but rather a golden coat of energy. His energy started to skyrocket as his rage continued to grow even more. The flames of a golden aura begin to circle around Ryuko's feet. As this happens, lightning begins to strike down several times in the area. Finally, King Kobra shifts gears and sees the sudden rise of Ryuko: "The brat…No! His power's rising exponentially!"

But, it was too late, King Kobra could not stop Ryuko now. Ryuko glares straight over to King Kobra:

"You- You'll never see the light of day again…"

Kobra exclaims: "W-What!?"

Ryuko then shouts at the top of his lungs "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

The dam broke, as Ryuko shouted that at the top of his lungs, the golden aura at his feet quickly spiraled around the young man, as if his rage had just swallowed him whole, overtaking him completely. In the middle of this golden ki pillar, Ryuko's hair would change from its natural color, to a golden one. His pupils had changed to a green color. The golden pillar dissipates completely, and the murky gray clouds in the sky have a hole of sunlight in the center. With the combination of golden aura, along with that spiky blonde hair. There's no mistaking it. Ryuko has finally become A SUPER SAIYAN..

The tears that streamed down Ryuko's cheeks would evaporate from the intensity of Ryuko's golden aura. After finally coming to, Ryuko puts down his grandfather gently to the side. King Kobra begins to realize the trouble he's in. He starts to panic at the sight of the golden warrior. As he began taking a shaky step back, he'd state: "This…This can't be..Now you have that power too!?" After putting down his grandfather, Ryuko puts his attention back onto King Kobra. King Kobra began to feel the intensity of the glare Ryuko was giving him as it would send a chill down Kobra's spine. In an instant, Ryuko had vanished completely. Only to reappear, striking an elbow deep into King Kobra's abdomen. Ryuko's expression remained fierce and cold, as if the former Ryuko wasn't there anymore. King Kobra writhes in pain as he grasps his chest: "AAAAAAAAAAAARGH! Damn you, Saiyan…" Ryuko vanishes once again and King Kobra is left in pure shock. King Kobra remarks: "What?! Impossible! I can't even see him!" Ryuko reappears high up in the sky and would dive kick King Kobra on the head. King Kobra would be left disorientated after that swift attack. Ryuko dashes in front of King Kobra and unleashes a flurry of attacks! Ryuko would throw several punches so fast, it would look as if Ryuko had several arms! Once he had stopped the barrage of punches, King Kobra keeled back, feeling the after effects of the attacks before being stung by the final blow.

King Kobra is still left in bewilderment at Ryuko's growth: "You can't be this strong…You were never like this to begin with!" This time, King Kobra is on the offensive! As King Kobra fires off a blast straight at Ryuko, the area would be completely leveled as the blast continues its path. When the light clears, Ryuko was revealed as he had not moved, tanking the full force of the blast unwaveringly. It appeared as if the only damage Ryuko sustained was to his shirt, as it had been completely torn off. Ryuko scoffs at King Kobra before jumping up into the air and performing a twirling roundhouse kick to King Kobra's jaw. The impact of the blow made quite the impression on the assassin, as his body would be flung back completely. The attack would lead King Kobra to crash through a few mountains, before finally landing in a mountainous cave.

King Kobra exits the cave with some pretty hefty injuries. He'd be holding his shoulder as he looked back at where the battlefield was. However, we cut back over to Vejin. Vejin had enough energy to exit the battlefield and meet up with the others. As the other four began recovering from King Kobra's attack, they would receive assistance from Vejin. B'az would help himself up as Saito would assist Oritsu getting back up. Letuce would see Vejin and approach him, asking: "Vejin. What's going on down there? We felt several high signatures. What happened?" Vejin would fall to the ground with a thud, fatigued after walking such a distance in this weakened state, he'd sit there. Vejin explains: "The old man…He's been killed by Kobra."

Saito had the calmest form of shock, since he personally did not know Goku Jr. Saito did widen his eyes, as he knew that Goku Jr's strength was noteworthy. The other three, however, couldn't believe it. Letuce clenched his fist: "Dammit…So Goku's dead? Now what?! Ryuko's fighting Kobra alone!" Oritsu interjects: "He's right! Why'd you leave Ryuko out there?!" Vejin responds to their concerns: "Because, Ryuko has achieved the legend. He's now a Super Saiyan." Saito says to himself: "So, he's done it too, I see. I wonder if he can control that rage…." Letuce says: "Ryuko's become a Super Saiyan!? I can't believe it!" Vejin looks back towards the battlefield: "Indeed…Kobra will soon lose this battle at this rate. I can see that Ryuko will claim his victory in this one…"

Back to the fight, King Kobra was left in a mountainous cave from Ryuko's attack. King Kobra's energy surges as he cries out: "I WILL MAKE SURE YOU PAY FOR THAT, RYUKO!" However, a voice comes from behind him: "No, I'll make you pay for what you've done to me, Kobra…" A pair of green eyes would glow from within the cave behind King Kobra. As the figure approached, it was Ryuko. King Kobra, stricken with fear, backed away from the Super Saiyan, but it was too late. Ryuko would grip King Kobra's head and drag him back to the battlefield, throwing him high up into the air and through the hole in the clouds. Ryuko holds his adversary up by the neck, before throwing him down towards the ground at such a speed that once his body made contact with the ground, he would bounce right off it. A beam of golden light descends down to King Kobra immediately. It was Ryuko making a swift descent to deliver a punch. This next attack held the culmination of his rage, sadness, despair.

Ryuko would shout: "You killed my grandpa, and for that…YOU'LL PAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!"

Ryuko would punch King Kobra at full power, a bright yellow aura engulfing the pair. The impact of the punch created a crater the size of a city. In that instant, King Kobra would be buried into the ground several hundred feet down. The attack caused the entire ground in the area to split apart and let out a massive golden aura through the cracks. Ryuko looks down through the hole King Kobra fell through. A scream echoed throughout the hole, as a bright red light erupted from the ground. King Kobra, in all his fury, would rush up to the surface, exploding every rock in his path. Erupting from the hole, he'd glare at Ryuko. King Kobra would yell: "I don't care about bringing you back to Bruzzell…I WILL END YOU MYSELF!" King Kobra unleashes his fiery red aura in full. Even his eyes began to look red and his muscles looked more defined. This was the pinnacle of King Kobra's power. King Kobra rushes in with the intent to kill.

Ryuko didn't expect King Kobra's full power to be this great. He was caught off guard and was struck by King Kobra's kick. He'd grab onto Ryuko's face and drag him along the ground. King Kobra slams him several times into the ground forming a small crater, finishing the assault with a point blank blast. Ryuko has taken a hefty amount of damage after the combo King Kobra had done to him. Ryuko's body would be covered in bruises and scratches. King Kobra responds to Ryuko: "So, the monster can bleed after all. Let's end this, Ryuko!" King Kobra charges in with a punch. Ryuko exerts more of his power and also charges in with a punch. The two blows connect with one another as they both strike each other in the face.

But, Ryuko was able to recover first, and respond with another punch. King Kobra would be knocked away slightly further. He'd plant his feet in the ground to prevent from going any further. Ryuko jumps over King Kobra and kicks him in the back of the head. But, after that attack, King Kobra responds with a kick of his own, landing another clean blow on Ryuko. Ryuko would be flung into the air as a result. King Kobra ascends to the sky to meet Ryuko's gaze. King Kobra tells the boy: "Even in that golden state of yours, you're slowing down. Have you finally tired yourself out?" Ryuko was in fact growing tired from how long this battle had lasted. However, King Kobra is much the same. They've both expelled a lot of their energy and one of them could fall at any second. It's become a war of attrition.

Ryuko clenches his fist, before staring down King Kobra: "To think, I actually felt outmatched by you." King Kobra raises an eyebrow: "Oh? Now what are you talking about, brat?" Ryuko continues: "A mercenary that was sent by Bruzzell. The leader of a deadly assassin team who was cold and showed no remorse. In all honesty, I should thank you." King Kobra continues to question what Ryuko means: "Just what are you on about? Thanking me?" Ryuko tells him: "For the longest time, my grandfather bore this light. Protecting this planet with it was his job, something I aspired to do all my life. You've taken him from me, without remorse, but not before he was able to pass that light onto me."

Ryuko's golden aura shows itself once more: "But what I'm about to do to you, won't be done with my light. BUT FROM MY FURYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" The golden aura grows sporadically and engulfs the area around Ryuko, unleashing his full power. King Kobra lunges forward to strike at Ryuko, but Ryuko grabs King Kobra's arm and throws him back. Ryuko then dashes towards Kobra and stomp kicks him in the chest. He'd vanish behind King Kobra and knee his neck, knocking him vanishing again and slamming him into the ground with a downward punch. Ryuko flies backwards and up high into the sky. He cups his hands together to perform a Super Kamehameha. He pulls his hands to the side of his body as he charges the attack: "Ka…." King Kobra clears the rubble out of the way and sees Ryuko charging up the attack.

King Kobra attempts to make his way up to stop Ryuko, but is stopped. He doesn't even know why: "What?! I've stopped moving?! I don't understand!" In between Ryuko's cupped hands would be a blue blast. That blue blast in his hands would grow in size as he continues: "Me….." The clouds in the sky begin to encircle Ryuko and form a cyclone like pattern. Lightning strikes around the cyclone as Ryuko charges the attack. The blue blast is now the size of Ryuko's arms: "Ha….." Ryuko is now completely covered by the thunderous clouds in a giant sphere of thunderclouds. Both blue and gold lightning emerge from the cloud. King Kobra is still unable to move and he realizes: "N-No…I can't be..I'm…afraid? Th-This is… fear!?" Ryuko's shadow can be seen at the epicenter of the spherical cloud: "Me….."

Just then, the cloud completely scatters altogether, leaving Ryuko with a Kamehameha the size of the thundercloud. The entire mountain range was left in a blue light emanating the place. King Kobra snaps out of it: "He's running on funes, to be overtaken by an Earthling of all things…IT WOULD BE HUMILIATING!" King Kobra quickly coats his arms in a thick red aura: "Secret Style….STONE SNAKE STANCE!" King Kobra's arms would harden like stone, ready to block the upcoming attack. If it were any of the previous attacks, maybe King Kobra had a chance. But this was his gamble to block it. Ryuko finished charging up the Super Kamehameha, his rage, despair, and courage put into a physical form.

Ryuko shouts at the top of his lungs: "THIS IS FOR GRANDPA! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

It was easily the largest Kamehameha that Ryuko had ever fired in his life. Upon firing the blast down to King Kobra, it was clear that the blast was far superior to King Kobra's power. The attack was the size of a spherical cloud that could completely engulf an entire valley. Upon making contact with King Kobra's defensive stance, it was a direct hit. The energy coated arms would hold their own against the blast: "It's…It's working!" King Kobra exerted all of his power to push back the blast.

But, as King Kobra tried to exert the rest of his power, the energy coated arms began to crack at the immense energy and pressure Ryuko's kamehameha had. King Kobra couldn't believe his eyes: "WHAT?! THAT CAN'T BE!" Ryuko didn't need to put any extra energy into the blast as his full power was more than enough to take out King Kobra once and for all. The energy coated arms would crack even more, leading it to deal damage to his physical body. King Kobra's energy arms would completely shatter and so would his actual arms. King Kobra couldn't move his arms anymore as he tried defending against an attack he had no chance against.

King Kobra realized it was his moment of defeat, smiling as if death were a comfort. King Kobra would shout as he laughed: "HE WILL AVENGE ME! IN ONE YEAR'S TIME! BRUZZELL….WILL…." Unfortunately, King Kobra didn't get to finish his sentence before he was completely obliterated by the attack.

With the death of Kobra and the Venom Mercs, Ryuko had become a Super Saiyan, and successfully avenged his grandfather.
