When in class, Claire sat by herself...until Jeremy say next to her then she moved to sit next to Juleka. She turned to her ex girlfriend with a look that said "Please don't let him near me". Juleka nodded then glared at him when he tried to get closer but he glared back.
"My, my. I see a bit of hostility." Mrs. Bustier said. "Claire, why don't you start the class by saying something nice to our newest student?"
Claire looked at her teacher with shock.
"Actually, I'll start, ma'am." Jeremy said then turned to Claire with a smile. "Claire, you look amazing today."
Claire sighed silently. "Thank you." She said then turned to Juleka. "And you are as beautiful as ever, Juleka."
Juleka smiled softly. "Thank you, Claire."
Jeremy wasn't happy about that. Once everybody had said something nice about another classmate, a girl entered the room. She had a light tan, green eyes, and long, hip-length auburn hair with blunt bangs and two shorter pieces framing her face, which were loosely tied near the ends with orange bands, wearing multicolored wristbands on her right arm, a brilliant vermilion jacket over a dark gray romper that had tiny white spots and a ribbon bow. Additionally, she wore light gray leggings and brown ankle-length high heel boots.
"Sorry I'm late. The bus ran out of gas so I had to run here." She said, her hands on her knees and she was panting.
"It's alright, Lila. You can have a seat next to our new student, Jeremy Moreau." Mrs. Bustier said.
Lila reluctantly sat down next to Jeremy, but soon noticed him scowling and glaring at Juleka and smirked.
"So, I take it it's Claire...?" She whispered to him.
"Lucky guess...I don't get what she sees in girls..." He whispered back.
"What if I told you there's someone who can help you get her back to how much she loved you?"
"Why would you do that? Unless you yourself have something to gain from that."
"I need Madelyn Dupain-Cheng, the blackish blue haired girl with glasses, out of my way to Adrien, the boy sitting next to her. Get her and Claire to fall in love with you then enjoy having not one but two girlfriends."
Jeremy thought about it then smirked. "Lila, you have a deal."
When class ended, Lila and Jeremy were the last ones to leave then she led him to an empty and private room.
"So, how do we do this?" He asked.
"First, picture Claire with anyone but you and let your anger build, then you'll see how you'll get your power." She instructed.
It didn't take him long to get furious as he pictured Claire with girls and boys instead of him.
Elsewhere, a window opened and butterflies began flying around the room.
"Ah, the fury of a love once lost and unable to be regained. Ideal prey." A man said as a butterfly landed in his hand and he covered it then it turned black and he let it leave. "Fly away, little Akuma, and evilize this young man's heart and soul!"
When the Akuma reached the school, Jeremy saw it. "One of Hawk Moth's Akumas?" He asked.
Lila grabbed it. "Yes. Now, where would you like it placed?" She asked with a smirk.
He smirked and showed her a ring he had on. She smirked and let it land on his ring as a purple outline of wings appeared in front of his face. "Hello, Hawk Moth. I am Jeremy. I ask that you give me the power to make the girl who broke my heart love me completely."
"You shall have this power not only over her, but over any other girl you want to control. In exchange, bring me Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous." Hawk Moth said. "From now on, you shall be known as Charmer."
Jeremy smirked as he transformed.
Claire was at her locker by herself when Charmer appeared beside her. "Hello, beautiful." He said in a suave tone.
She sighed. "Jeremy, for the last time, get lost!"
"Come on, babe." He smirked as his eyes changed colors.
She growled and turned to him...only to get lost in the colors of his eyes.
He smirked then kissed her, placing her under his control. "Now, you're mine again."
"Yes, my love..." Claire said dreamily with a smile. "What is your wish?"
"Help me get Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous."
Claire nodded. Her Kwami, Onyxx, not wanting to take a chance, carefully removed Claire's Miraculous, a shark tooth necklace, when Jeremy had his back turned. Claire was too focused on Jeremy to notice.
Marinette and Madelyn were nearby in the ladies room with Alya and Juleka when Onyxx flew to them with Claire's Miraculous.
"Marinette!" The shark Kwami called and the girls and their Kwamis turned to her.
"Onyxx?" Tikki, Marinette's Kwami, said. "Where's Claire?"
"Jeremy's been Akumatized and he has her under a love spell."
"We have to help her. Let's transform, girls!" Marinette said as she put Claire's necklace on then the four transformed into Ladybug, Raven, Rena Rouge, and Purple Tigress respectively.
"Tikki, Onyxx, Unify!" Ladybug said.
With that, Ladybug's costume now was light blue from the waist down with red spots and a shark's dorsal fin appeared on her back. Shark Queen's weapon, a trident, appeared across her back and her mask's edge gained jagged lines that resembled shark teeth.
"Looking good, Lady Shark." Raven said.
"Thanks, sis. Now, let's go save our friend." Lady Shark said, the last sentence carrying a tone of determination.
"Maybe a kiss from you will help break the spell on Claire." Rena Rouge said in a teasing manner.
Lady Shark turned a stern look to her teammate to mask the worry she felt about fighting their teammate. Purple Tigress placed a hand on her shoulder, silently telling her leader that she understood what was going to happen.
"You can bring her back to her senses, Marinette." She said.
"But what if she doesn't feel that way about me?" Lady Shark asked.
"She does. Trust me. When she and I hang out, she gushes about you all the time."
Hearing that gave Lady Shark a newfound confidence then the four charged out to find Cat Noir, Carapace, Pegasus, and Viperion fighting against Charmer and Claire. Lady Shark pulled Claire to the girls with her yo-yo.
"Claire, please. We don't have to fight." Rena said.
"If you hurt the man I love, we will!" Claire said.
"It's me, Claire...It's Marinette... Don't do this, please." Lady Shark said. "Think back to the good times we've had. The times at the bakery, the casual walks we'd take."
Her words began to get through to Claire then Marinette took a chance and kissed her.
Claire froze before she kissed back as a pink glow surrounded her before it shattered, breaking Charmer's spell on her. Claire looked at her when the two girls pulled apart.
"...Marinette...?" She asked in a quiet voice.
"What's the last thing you remember?" Alya asked.
"Looking that creep in the eye then...nothing. Until now, at least."
Lady Shark nodded, but was hiding how nervous she was that Claire might remember the kiss. "Tikki, Onyxx, Divide." She said then reverted to Ladybug before handing Claire back her Miraculous.
"Give me a minute then I'll help you girls and the boys kick his ass." Claire said as she put her necklace on. The girls nodded then Claire ran to the ladies room and transformed into Shark Queen then ran to the girls.
Charmer turned to the girls and growled. "Where's my girlfriend?!" He demanded.
"Safe away from you." Ladybug said.
"But now, you're the one in trouble." Shark Queen said. "Heightened Senses!" She said then her eyes, ears, and nose glowed and she spotted a black glow coming from Charmer's ring. "The Akuma's in his ring!"
"Then let's finish this." Ladybug said then laughed her yo-yo at Charmer and it trapped him. "Cat Noir, do it!"
"Cataclysm!" The green eyes hero said then grabbed Charmer's ring.
"No!" Charmer said as his ring disintegrated and the Akuma began to fly away.
"No more evildoing for you, little Akuma!" Ladybug said then smirked. "Time to de-evilize!" She said then captured the Akuma. "Gotcha!" She said then released the butterfly. "Bye-bye, little butterfly." She said then Jeremy returned to normal and glared at the nine heroes as they fist bumped.
"Pound it!" They said then left. The boys were in the men's room and the girls in the ladies room when they all detransformed.
"Charmer may have failed, but just like Lila, he has quite a bit of potential. I may just have myself a new ally." Hawk Moth said.
He smirked while his window closed.
Heremy went to Lila and backed her into a corner. "I had her but lost her!" He said.
"Patience. You'll have her back where she belongs soon enough." She assured him.
"I better."
She smirked when she saw the ear wrap he had on. She showed him the necklace she had on. This one was different from her fox pendant. "From one Miraculous holder to another, you'll have her on my word."
He was shocked then smirked. "Then this will become a beautiful partnership, Lila."
She smirked then the two shook hands.
