Disclaimer: I do not own Pokémon, Nintendo does.

It was early morning for the Legendary Pokémon and their child. Eclipse was sleeping peacefully, while Mew was doing, well, whatever Mew does.

After a few hours, Mew flew over to Eclipse, deciding that now would be the time for her to wake up.

"Loony~!" Mew said, nudging at Eclipse's body.

Mmph, five more minutes... Eclipse said tiredly.

"I brought breakfast!" Mew replied, which got Eclipse's attention immediately, as she sat up.

I heard breakfast? Eclipse questioned, obviously excited and ready to wake up.

Mew chuckled at Eclipse's reaction. "Right this way, Loony."

Eclipse then crawled over to Mew, who picked them up, and flew off of the tree and towards the grass below them.

Once they landed, Mew gently placed Eclipse down.

What's for breakfast? Eclipse asked in anticipation.

Mew giggled at her child's excitement, and placed a blanket with some berries down in front of Eclipse.

"They're Pecha, Oran, and Sitrus Berries!" Mew said.

They kinda look like the fruits I used to eat in my past life... Eclipse said, slightly dissapointed.

"Trust me, you'll like them." Mew said with a knowing smile.

Eclipse looked at Mew for a few seconds with suspicion, but shrugged as she grabbed one of the berries with her paws, and took a big bite.

Immediately, her eyes bugged wide open in joy at the taste of the berry. It was extremely sweet, but still had a bit of tart. In fact, it was one of the tastiest things she's ever had!

This is really good! Eclipse said with a surprised smile, satisfied at the taste of the berry.

"I'd knew you'd like it." Mew said with a chuckle.

Eclipse then proceeded to devour the rest of the berries along with Mew. The variety of taste that was coming from the berries was interesting, to say the least. The Sitrus berries were sour, the Pecha berries were extremely sweet, and the Oran berries were a bit too bitter; they were her least favorite, but she didn't tell Mew, since it would be rude.

After finishing their breakfast, she laid down, her stomach full from all the amount of berries she had ate.

Phew, I'm stuffed... Eclipse said tiredly.

"It was a good meal though, yes?"

Yeah, a bit too good, heh... Eclipse said, as their stomach rumbled, she had a slight stomachache.

"Maybe I should've brought less berries..." Mew said, sweat-dropping.

It's fine, it'll probably pass... Eclipse said reassuringly, though her stomach disagreed.

Only a few minutes passed by until the nausea had settled in, and that's when Eclipse laid on her stomach, trying her best to not make any sudden movements.

Ugh... Eclipse said, her face having a green feverish glow on her blue face.

You look miserable... Mew stated, looking extremely worried for her child.

I sure do feel like it... Eclipse responded.

"I can get rid of it, if you'd like." Mew proposed.

You can? How? Eclipse asked, confused and interested at the same time.

"I can use Heal Pulse on you. Though, it'll only lessen a majority of the nausea, it'll still be there." Mew explained.

That's fine, as long as I can move around and stuff without like this... Eclipse said with a pained groan.

"Alright, hold still!" Mew said, giggling.

Mew was then surrounded by a greenish glow, and a ball of energy started to form into her hands. Eclipse watched in amazement at the scene before her. The balls of energy suddenly shot out at her and entered her abdomen. She felt a bit tingly at the situation, and then she felt...fine.

"How do you feel?" Mew asked.

I feel surprisingly fine! I think it worked! Eclipse said happily.

Thanks, Memma! Eclipse said gratefully.

"Anytime, Loony." Mew said with a kind smile.

"Now that we're full and energized, I do actually have something planned for you." Mew said, which got the attention of Eclipse rather quickly.

Alright, I'm all ears. Eclipse said eagerly.

"Well, you remember when I said we were Legendary Pokémon?" Mew asked Eclipse.

Yeah? Eclipse said, still puzzled.

"Right, forgot you don't know what Pokémon are..." Mew said.

"As Pokémon, and especially Legendary ones, we possess abilities that allow us to thrive and survive in times of need. Most of these abilities are limited based on your typing. A Pikachu, for example, only has the ability to learn Physical, Steel, and Electrical moves." Mew explained.

So they're basically animals with supernatural powers? Eclipse asked blankly.

"A simple definition, but yes." Mew confirmed. "And as a Mew, because we have the DNA of all living Pokémon, we are allowed to learn any type of move, as well as have our own abilities like flight, telekinesis, and telepathy." Mew continued.

So I'm guessing you want to teach me those abilities. Eclipse stated blankly, managing to put two and two together.

Mew was surprised at first, seeing that her child was able to come up with a guess so quickly, and a correct one at that. She shook this off, however, and answered the blue Mew's suggested theory.

"Yes, exactly that." Mew confirmed.

Sure, when do we start? Eclipse asked.

"We can start now, actually." Mew said.

Sounds good, what exactly am I learning first? Eclipse asked.

"We can start with your telekinesis, if you'd like." Mew said.

That's fine with me, yeah! Eclipse said with a bit of courage and excitement.

"Alright, here's your first challenge." Mew said.

Mew then used her own telekinesis to move a rock in front of Eclipse. The rock glowed with a bright blue aura before it landed safely in Eclipse's peripherals.

So how exactly do I do this? Eclipse said, staring at the rock, completely lost as to what she was to do.

"Ah, right..." Mew said, sweat-dropping. She had forgotten that Eclipse was still new to this world, and in a new body as well.

"Moving a rock is as easy as just thinking about it. Try imagining yourself pushing the rock mentally, but not physically." Mew explained.

Okay, I'll try... Eclipse said, unsure whether or not Mew's explanation would help or not.

Eclipse looked at the rock, and closed her eyes. She imagined herself using her hands to move the rock physically. The rock suddenly glowed a bright green hue, but only for a few seconds. The rock moved about a inch or two before Eclipse lost control of it.

Ugh, that hurts to do... Eclipse said, tired from attempting to use telekinesis.

"It takes a while for little mons to gain control of their powers, especially newborn Legendary Pokémon like you." Mew said. "But hey, you actually managed to make the rock move a little!" Mew said excitedly.

I-I did? Eclipse said, before looking at where the rock was herself. It did in fact, move away from it's original position, if only barely.

I did! Woohoo! Eclipse cheered. Mew picked her up into her arms and spun around a few times in celebration.

"I'm so proud of you, Loony!" Mew said happily. She then proceeded to pick Eclipse up into her arms and spin around in the air. They both giggled in excitement and happiness.

After the two's giggle-fest came to a close, Mew carried Eclipse back towards the top of the Tree of Beginning. She laid Eclipse down onto her makeshift bed, and curled herself around her.

What a long day... Eclipse said, exhausted from the training she went through earlier.

"You can sure say that again." Mew said, not as exhausted, but still somewhat tired.

Hey, Memma? Eclipse asked.

"Yes, Loony?" Mew answered back.

Thanks for...well, all of this. You're the best mother I could ask for. Eclipse said.

Mew's eyes widened, her heart fluttering at such kind words. She even blushed a bit. Once she regained her composure, she simply answered back.

"Anything for you, Loony." Mew said, a bright smile forming in her face.

After their short conversation, it didn't take Eclipse long to fall asleep. Mew simply watched her sleeping form peacefully; She was currently thinking to herself.

"Maybe it's time I showed you to HIM..." Mew said to herself. Tomorrow, she decided that she would. She cuddled Eclipse to ensure she was comfortable, and went to sleep herself.

DONE.

HOLY, okay, it's been a LONG while. I've been busy with school, work, and a bit of laziness on my part. I'm currently on my last year of high-school, so hopefully when it's completed, there will be less hiatuses like these in the future.

That being said, for now, don't expect this story to be updated consistently all the time. I'm still trying to figure out exactly where to continue this story on, I'm sure with time it'll become more easier, but once again, just be patient, as I'll still be updating this story as much as I can.

With all that out of the way, Chapter 6 will HOPEFULLY be out sometime in the next two weeks, maybe a bit less if I'm actually able to be consistent for once.

Stay tuned!
