I love it when you call me señorita
I wish I could pretend I didn't need you
But every touch is ooh la la la, It's true, la la la
Ooh, I should be running
Ooh, you know I love it when you call me señorita
I wish it wasn't so damn hard to leave ya
But every touch is ooh la la la, It's true, la la la
Ooh, I should be running
Ooh, you keep me coming for you
It'd been six months since that first trip and nothing had been decided - they were still keeping it all a secret.
They'd been fine at first, fully satiated from the trip, but after the first week or so, Carly had gotten antsy… More like downright horny. She'd never craved someone the way she craved Freddie and he definitely wasn't making it easy on her.
Freddie wasn't sure what it was about those words that got her so worked up, but he'd been determined to find out. Was it being called his that did it for her? Or was it simply the Spanish? He'd decided to conduct an experiment. Some days he'd waltz into Carly and Harper's apartment, greeting them with "Hola, señoritas!" and he'd watch for her reaction. Sometimes he'd enter Spencer's apartment, much as he'd done as a teen, and greet Carly and Millicent with "¡Buenos días, muchachalatas!". Millicent would roll her eyes and call him a "weirdo", but Carly would simply look at him quizzically, knowing what he was doing but not knowing why.
But it was the moments when they were alone when he'd really push her buttons. They would be working on something in the studio and he'd whisper seductively from behind her "Mi señorita, can I help you with that?" and he'd watch her tense up or squeeze her thighs together. Or he'd hang out with her and Harper, and as soon as Harper stepped out of the room for a moment, he'd whisper something seemingly innocuous like "Can I get you another glass of wine, mi señorita?" and she would internally unravel.
It wasn't fair and he knew it, but he couldn't resist. After all of the years she'd held the power over him, he took great pleasure in their roles being reversed for a change. So much so in fact, that he'd started wearing t-shirts without a button up more often to show off his arms that she'd said affected her so much. Yes, he was having way too much fun with this.
By the end of their second week home Carly felt as if she was losing her mind. Every night she was using her collection of battery-operated toys she'd accumulated over the years, but it wasn't doing the trick. She needed to be with him, but how? Their family was always around, so they couldn't do anything here. They could always rent a hotel room for the night, but that felt sleazy. They could find their own private make out point, but the risk of getting caught or recognized was too great and Freddie's Yaris definitely wasn't stealthy – there'd be no privacy in that thing. So, it was settled, they needed another trip… and fast!
So, that's what they'd been doing ever since. Every couple of weeks they'd find a way to sneak away. They were worried their family would get suspicious, so they covertly planned separate trips and found some way to meet up. Once Spencer had asked why Freddie always seemed to go away when Carly did and he'd answered that since she was gone, she wouldn't need him for work or filming, so it made it easier that way. It seemed to satisfy Spencer, so they stuck to that story.
Usually, one of them would leave a day or so before the other, trying to look even less conspicuous. But they were starting to run out of excuses to leave town. Carly used various conventions, sponsorship meetings and even pet rescue charity events as a cover – in her defense, as she's a terrible liar, they were all real and she did attend those events, but if it hadn't been for her secret rendezvous with Freddie, she wouldn't have.
As for Freddie, his cover stories were almost comical. With her alibis needing to be real, he'd had to find events going on at the same time that he could tell his family, knowing that they, Millicent especially, would look into them to see if they were interested in tagging along. He did plan some special trips for just his daughter and him, but for his getaways with Carly, he'd find the nerdiest, dorkiest things possible, knowing there'd be zero chance she'd want to come. There'd been some tech conferences, a sci-fi convention a few states over, a model train show and once he'd met up with some friends from college for a quick overnight before meeting up with Carly the following day.
With her events, there'd be evidence online – stories she'd be mentioned in or posts she'd be tagged in. As for him, he'd had to find some good hi-res videos from his cover stories and pull some clean screen shots from them – nothing that Millicent could reverse look-up.
