The State Verses Derek Morgan Ch 64
Robert was sitting in an interrogation room waiting, he'd been told that he had some visitors and he was anxiously waiting to see who they were and when the door opened and Reid, Dave and Derek walked into the room he sat back and grinned. As the trio walked over and sat down across from him he said, "welllllll, to what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?", Derek said, "we would like to ask you a few questions".
Dave watched Robert as he shifted positions in the chair and said, "I'm in a talking mood, what are your questions?", Reid said, "I would like to know who the woman was that looked like Garcia and what happened to her". Robert said, "well her name was Thelma Shipp and she was a prostitute that looked like your precious Penelope and as for the what happened to her welllllll sit back gents because this will take a few minutes".
He then said, "after making sure that you and Penelope were unconscious on the bed, I stripped you naked and then brought her into the room, her being a whore, wellllllll she knew what to do". Reid sat there listening in disgust as Robert said, "she was told to have her way with you and make it rough soooooo that's what she did, she stripped off naked and straddled your waist and sank down on you".
Derek was getting sick at his stomach listening as he proudly told the trio of agents how the woman raped him, how she rode him hard and fast until they got what they needed and then he smiled as he continued. Robert then said, "we had to make it look like a rape soooooo I told her to turn around and take it anally and she did with no questions and after we got what we needed from you again, when she threw her head back and moaned out in pleasure that's when I broke her neck".
Reid said, "how did Morgan get all of the scratches?", Robert said, "those came from Penelope, me and Thelma did those with her help, well I can't say it was because she did it willingly because she was as unconscious as Derek here was". Dave said, "so you did all of that so that you could frame Derek for Penelope's murder, for what, why did you do it son?", Robert said, "first, don't call me son, I had a father, I had an amazing father but you killed him" as he pointed to Derek
Derek said, "it was kill or be killed, I killed him in self defense", Reid said, "he's telling you the truth, he had no choice, if he hadn't did what he did your father, well he would have killed Derek so in had no choice". Robert sighed and said, "that's why me and my sister had no choice but to do what we did", Reid said, "where was your sister while this was going on?", Robert grinned and said, "ohhh she was there, she was helping with every bit of it, she was the one giving Thelma her directions".
Derek stood up and said, "you and your entire family are sick, to think that you would do all of that, you drugged me and Penelope, took us out into the middle of nowhere, stripped me off naked, had a woman rape me twice, kidnapped Penelope and held her for over a month and you did all of that for revenge on me?", Robert said, "yes sir we did and if I had to do it all over again I would do it happily and proudly".
Dave and Reid stood up and Dave said, "thank you for talking to us today", he said, "well what can I say I was in a talky mood and you three just happened to be here so I thought why not". Derek said, "I have one final question for you", Robert said, "okay, shoot", Derek said, "were you planning on killing Garcia if I was found not guilty?", he leaned forward and said, "oh she was going to die either way, we were just keeping her around to torture her".
Dave said, "torture her?", Robert smiled and said, "ohhh yes, we told her everything about why we did what we did but there is one thing that I do regret", Reid said, "and what was that?", Robert grinned evilly and said, "I regret that we didn't tell her that the fill in Penelope had you twice", he then threw his head back and laughed, Derek said, "I'm outta here" and turned around and practically ran from the room with Reid right on his heels.
Robert looked up at Dave as Dave said, "I hope that everything you did was worth spending the rest of your life in prison son because that's what you, your sister and cousin are going to be doing". Robert said, "ohhhh it was worth it old man, it was soooooo worth it", he laughed and said, "and like I said I'd do it again", Dave then turned around and joined Derek and Reid in the hallway, they'd gotten what they came for and now Derek knew everything that had happened to him that night.
As they walked up the corridor and out the side exit at the police station he felt dirty, he felt sickened and he knew that he was going to have to tell Penelope everything and hope that she still wanted to be with him, if she still wanted to be his wife. They stopped and Reid put his hand on "Derek's shoulder and said, "I know what you're thinking", Derek shook his head and said, "I'm afraid that you don't pretty boy".
Reid said, "you're thinking that you need to tell Garcia everything and you're afraid that after she learns you were raped that she won't want to be with you anymore, right?", he said, "how'd you?", Reid said, "profiler, rememberrrr?", Derek said, "and one of the best at that" causing Reid to grin, he then said, "don't worry Morgan she loves you, she won't leave you, she's waited for this moment as long as you have and she will be there by your side to support and love you no matter what".
Dave said, "let me ask you something son", Derek looked at him as he said, "what if it were kitten that had gotten raped instead of you, would you have left her?", Derek said, "definitely not, she's the love of my life, I would have stayed by her side and helped her through it", Dave said, "see, do you see what you just said?", Derek said, "I do and she'll stand by me the same way I would have stood beside her", Dave and Reid nodded their heads and said, "exactly" in unison.
As they continued walking toward the SUV Derek knew that his baby girl would always be by his side, that nobody or nothing would change that, not now, not ever.
